i’m so in love with the couple’s counselling au. it is already an all time favorite of mine - everything about it is so good. the little holiday fic breaks my heart so much, poor obiwan oh my god i want to chop a lock of anakin’s hair and braid it and give it to obiwan. obiwan 🥺

ok but real talk couples counseling au Anakin probably agonizes over how he can make this better well past their trip to Alderaan he’s like constantly thinking about it he’s giving himself stress ulcers because he hurt obi-wan so bad !! and he can never take it back !!!

I think it culminates with anakin finding a very beautiful gold and copper braided bracelet and spending all his Jedi credits on it (and some of padme’s credits as well but it’s for a good cause she would support he thinks!!!) and carving little tokens to hang from its loosest links, each token corresponding with a mission they went on together once anakin became a Knight, to symbolize how maybe he can’t ever give him the padawan braid, but obi-wan’s influence in his life extends past his apprenticeship—they’re braided together, equals now, facing their greatest challenges and most celebrated victories together, see, master? Look this one is the gundark nest I fished you out of!!

and of course he gives it to obi-wan on the anniversary of the day he was Knighted, and obi-wan (sniffling, incredibly touched) is like “will you ever let the damn gundark nest go anakin???”

I haven’t tickled a lot of high lees before, I think I’ve tickled Clay twice while he was high, and it was so so SO much fun o h m y g od 😩 he was so sensitive and giggly uuunfff, like a new laugh and everything askhdfhgk~. I didn’t have to do too much, he was so ticklish.. perfect for feasting on~. Omg why would you say that to me… “most ticklish foot boy”.. okay.. served in stocks with the toeties.. Spiced Maple-Bourbon Apple Pie Filling

2 tbsp butter 2 tbsp maple syrup dash salt dash ginger dash nutmeg dash cloves 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 cup cold water 1 tbsp flour 1 tbsp bourbon 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 Fuji apples

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat, stir in maple syrup, salt, and spices. Return the sauce to heat and bring to a simmer. Shake cold water and flour in a small container until smooth, then stir into the sauce. Continue stirring and remove from heat as the mixture thickens up quickly. Stir in bourbon and vanilla extract until smooth.

Peel apples and chop into small cubes, stirring into the sauce as you go. Transfer apples and sauce to casserole dish or ramekins, top with pie dough as desired (in shapes or lattice, etc), and brush pie crust with a beaten egg, then sprinkle with raw sugar. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes, then cover to prevent crust from burning. Bake for another 35 minutes then remove from the oven to cool on a rack.

This amount was made to use up a small amount of extra pie dough. Doubling this recipe would probably be plenty for a full pie.

If baking without a dough topping, cover casserole or ramekin dish from the start and bake for 1 hour. Serve with pastries, whipped cream, ice cream, etc.
