The idea that Ralsei could be a titan (the big one with horns specifically) was actually something my friend Shadowhaxor (@downlowbroyouknow) proposed on a server we're both in, and it kind of stuck with me since. I'm not sure if I fully buy into it yet (as there's no evidence for OR against it so there's no real arguing on the topic) but the symbology surrounding that idea just feels so specific to me that I think it might be intentional.

"The evil within" and "I choose to help when I was made to destroy" could be REALLY interesting roads to take Ralsei's character, and "your actions DO have consequences" being revealed through Ralsei turning into a titan himself would be a hell of a gut-punch and a really effective way to subvert the "your choices don't matter" beginning statement of the game. PLUS with Ralsei's inconsistent design choices there's really no telling if the resemblance to the largest titan is far fetched and impossible, or uncanny and undeniable - it can really swing both ways depending on which of Ralsei's sprites you're looking at, and I think that adds to the overall vibe of this "theory" as it adds potential layers to Ralsei's existence and identity that we wouldn't have otherwise.

He's both mysterious and malleable, he's well-meaning but not incapable of causing harm, and he was made for the prophecy but that doesn't mean he can't embody its ugliest side as well.

(I think there's also something between "The Legend" and "The Dark Truth" that feels like we're missing a piece between them, almost a missing link between the two songs that tells us the full story when we put them all together, but I'm not musically literate enough to expand on that idea.)

Again, as things stand right now I don't think this is 100% canon (no evidence = no concrete conclusion), but there's a lot of imagery and symbolism here that makes me feel like its justified to speculate about, especially knowing how neatly it could fit into Deltarune's overall narrative.

I have a few ideas floating around my head for some of the batfam characters, nothing too concrete tho.

I imagine Bruce to be a lord of the north (mainly because I feel like the north fits gotham and the atmosphere the best. Something about all the dark clothing just fits the grim vibes) although I got a good comment talking about his no kill rule! So perhaps he could be like all edgy no kill because of his parents being dead. Alfred is an ex knight for the throne , also friends with his father that became his personal guard , and after Bruce s parents were murdered, chose to take care and raise Bruce in the North.

Dick's family was part of a travelling performers group travelling around Westeros. Bruce happened to pass by and notice one of their shows, I imagine his parents being killed or something just like Bruce's, then Bruce starts his orphan adopting hobby and takes Dick in.

Jason's father was part of a thief gang to try to provide a better life for his family. This works for a while until they get caught and imprisoned/ killed by whoever busts then/ something. Catherine Todd dies or an illness. Jason is left fending for his own, starts pickpocketing. Bruce finds him while he's trying to steal something packed on his horse and ends up adopting him. Still working on his death/ resurrection (I feel like they're a big part of his character and I want to add that)

Tim's parents were merchants. Possibly knew Bruce . Tim was a secret dick fanboy because of his traveling performer era (thought he was really cool and badass). Some more death and adoption.

I haven't fully thought about Damian s backstory yet and the relationship between Talia and Bruce, since I like the idea of them being from Essos , but that's what i have for him so far. Speaking high Valyrian and some other languages, accent while speaking in English ✨

I haven't come up with anything for Cass, Steph and duke yet

10 year time-skip?? I don't know what to expect omg. I was wondering how many chapters have you planned for this fic? Do you plan to write about them afterwards?

Oh boy, asking the hard questions, aren't you anon? 😅😅 Honestly, I have no idea how many chapters there will be. I tend to operate on a 'I have Plot Points A, B, C, D, etc to hit' (and usually not in a linear progression, either), and I just keep writing until I feel satisfied a subplot has wrapped up. This is to say I'm a semi-pantser when it comes to writing and often go by the ✨vibes✨

Honestly, every time I've tried to adhere strict outlines of what should be in each chapter/who should be in it, it never ends well. It just kills my creativity and makes me hate what I've written.

But to give you a relative idea, I initially plotted Appetence to have 4 separate 'arcs'. Originally, this was /meant/ to be 4 different titles under a collection called Appetence. However, I held a poll in the early stages of writing, and people collectively agreed they'd prefer it to be a longfic— so this is where we are 😂😅 Currently speaking, we're in Arc 2 with 4-5ish chapters left before Arc 3. I am debating on making Arc 4 its own title— since that's when the time-skip occurs— but I'm not too sure yet.

As for continuing to write about Appetence!Harri and Vee afterwards, I do plan on releasing a vignette collection at some point with little snippets/scene that didn't make into the main fic (things like day-to-day moments with them, some spicy scenes, etc).

Though mostly, I have a horrifying amount of WIPs for other Harrymort/Tomarry stories in various stages of completion that I also want to get posting 💕 It's just Appetence demands to be an only child at the moment 😂😅

Have you heard the song 'cherry blossoms' by dream hotel, i was planning on writing it as an anxceit one shot (maybe a series if i could), but i don't write a lot and i have other stuff to write, and it might inspire you to write something...

It's been a long time since I listened to it and I pulled it up again and I *tottally* see why that's anxceit vibes and they're such soft anxceit vibes and I love them lots. I was wanting to make an Anxceit playlist specifically for writing to and this is the first song I'm adding :D I have a couple of blurry ideas for it but nothing concrete yet but I'll def keep it on my mind via the brainrot playlist. I've been wanting to do a childhood friends to lovers trope and this song is also *very* good inspo for that. Also just,,, domestic anxceit I don't write much of that and I *should*. Even if I do write something, your interpretation, your art, your story is just as cool as important as anybody else's and I highly recommend writing it and I'd be excited to read it! Though I imagine it would be in another anxceit deepdive because your anonymity for your comfort is super valid. If anybody wants to tell me songs that are just anxceit and no you do not have to explain it, feel free to do so because I would like that a lot! And yes I'm aware I have a very specific interpretation of anxceit I like which is likely *very* clear the anxceit stuff I do, but I'm open to other interpretations! It's what being in a fandom is all about to me!
