The idea that Ralsei could be a titan (the big one with horns specifically) was actually something my friend Shadowhaxor (@downlowbroyouknow) proposed on a server we're both in, and it kind of stuck with me since. I'm not sure if I fully buy into it yet (as there's no evidence for OR against it so there's no real arguing on the topic) but the symbology surrounding that idea just feels so specific to me that I think it might be intentional.

"The evil within" and "I choose to help when I was made to destroy" could be REALLY interesting roads to take Ralsei's character, and "your actions DO have consequences" being revealed through Ralsei turning into a titan himself would be a hell of a gut-punch and a really effective way to subvert the "your choices don't matter" beginning statement of the game. PLUS with Ralsei's inconsistent design choices there's really no telling if the resemblance to the largest titan is far fetched and impossible, or uncanny and undeniable - it can really swing both ways depending on which of Ralsei's sprites you're looking at, and I think that adds to the overall vibe of this "theory" as it adds potential layers to Ralsei's existence and identity that we wouldn't have otherwise.

He's both mysterious and malleable, he's well-meaning but not incapable of causing harm, and he was made for the prophecy but that doesn't mean he can't embody its ugliest side as well.

(I think there's also something between "The Legend" and "The Dark Truth" that feels like we're missing a piece between them, almost a missing link between the two songs that tells us the full story when we put them all together, but I'm not musically literate enough to expand on that idea.)

Again, as things stand right now I don't think this is 100% canon (no evidence = no concrete conclusion), but there's a lot of imagery and symbolism here that makes me feel like its justified to speculate about, especially knowing how neatly it could fit into Deltarune's overall narrative.

I’m a simple gal I see GOT au and DC and I come RUNNING!!!! I’ve tried developing my own DC x GoT au and id love to hear more if you want to share!!!

I have a few ideas floating around my head for some of the batfam characters, nothing too concrete tho.

I imagine Bruce to be a lord of the north (mainly because I feel like the north fits gotham and the atmosphere the best. Something about all the dark clothing just fits the grim vibes) although I got a good comment talking about his no kill rule! So perhaps he could be like all edgy no kill because of his parents being dead. Alfred is an ex knight for the throne , also friends with his father that became his personal guard , and after Bruce s parents were murdered, chose to take care and raise Bruce in the North.

Dick's family was part of a travelling performers group travelling around Westeros. Bruce happened to pass by and notice one of their shows, I imagine his parents being killed or something just like Bruce's, then Bruce starts his orphan adopting hobby and takes Dick in.

Jason's father was part of a thief gang to try to provide a better life for his family. This works for a while until they get caught and imprisoned/ killed by whoever busts then/ something. Catherine Todd dies or an illness. Jason is left fending for his own, starts pickpocketing. Bruce finds him while he's trying to steal something packed on his horse and ends up adopting him. Still working on his death/ resurrection (I feel like they're a big part of his character and I want to add that)

Tim's parents were merchants. Possibly knew Bruce . Tim was a secret dick fanboy because of his traveling performer era (thought he was really cool and badass). Some more death and adoption.

I haven't fully thought about Damian s backstory yet and the relationship between Talia and Bruce, since I like the idea of them being from Essos , but that's what i have for him so far. Speaking high Valyrian and some other languages, accent while speaking in English ✨

I haven't come up with anything for Cass, Steph and duke yet

10 year time-skip?? I don't know what to expect omg. I was wondering how many chapters have you planned for this fic? Do you plan to write about them afterwards?

Oh boy, asking the hard questions, aren't you anon? 😅😅 Honestly, I have no idea how many chapters there will be. I tend to operate on a 'I have Plot Points A, B, C, D, etc to hit' (and usually not in a linear progression, either), and I just keep writing until I feel satisfied a subplot has wrapped up. This is to say I'm a semi-pantser when it comes to writing and often go by the ✨vibes✨

Honestly, every time I've tried to adhere strict outlines of what should be in each chapter/who should be in it, it never ends well. It just kills my creativity and makes me hate what I've written.

But to give you a relative idea, I initially plotted Appetence to have 4 separate 'arcs'. Originally, this was /meant/ to be 4 different titles under a collection called Appetence. However, I held a poll in the early stages of writing, and people collectively agreed they'd prefer it to be a longfic— so this is where we are 😂😅 Currently speaking, we're in Arc 2 with 4-5ish chapters left before Arc 3. I am debating on making Arc 4 its own title— since that's when the time-skip occurs— but I'm not too sure yet.

As for continuing to write about Appetence!Harri and Vee afterwards, I do plan on releasing a vignette collection at some point with little snippets/scene that didn't make into the main fic (things like day-to-day moments with them, some spicy scenes, etc).

Though mostly, I have a horrifying amount of WIPs for other Harrymort/Tomarry stories in various stages of completion that I also want to get posting 💕 It's just Appetence demands to be an only child at the moment 😂😅

What is Circa Specturgia about…? Wow. Hmm. This one… This one might take me a while.

Thank you @writingonesdreams for the ask! I don’t know if I’ll be able to answer it to satisfaction quite yet, but, I’ll do my best! And once I do know what I want from this story of mine, I’ll be sure to let you know! ✨

What’s it all about?

The reason I didn’t put a plot summary or even outline in my Writeblr intro is because I don’t think I quite have one yet, if I’m to be honest…

I used to have a pretty solid framework for an estimated Book 1 and ideas for the overarching story as a whole, however those ideas for the first book have, to use a metaphor, rusted and grown weak in the year and a half break I took from writing, and I’ve decided to scrap that and place it on the side for later, having come back to it now with better ideas and a feeling that what I had before was stale and boring, unsatisfactory.

I write primarily for myself, for my own enjoyment, to put the ideas in my head on paper, to create something, to have a creative outlet, to tell a story that I’d enjoy reading.

The choice to scrap that much has left me with an empty canvas, which is equally parts exciting as it is frightening.

As a result I don’t really know exactly ‘what happens’ myself, apart from general vibes and some grander overarching details.

So, what am I certain of…?

Certain parts of character arcs, events leading to characters growing and evolving, LOTS of worldbuilding details and the like which is why I’ve mainly been posting as to those, and some overarching story details…

I won’t lie, it feels like I’m building a house less brick-by-brick and more chaotically one-part-at-a-time, though those parts aren’t necessarily in order. Bringing in a fridge and stocking it, and only then finishing the walls, etc… Some parts are very stable and concrete, some are absolutely nebulous. Hell, I feel like with the current reworking of everything, it like I’m changing my mind about the whole design of the house itself and scraping whole rooms or adding floors!

I’ll try to maybe outline big parts that I include or want to include though? Sort of the four main and central focuses and the general direction for them!

Magic

One big center focus of Circa Specturgia is definitely the magic, the world, the wonder! One reason I fleshed out Specturgy so much is because I have a burning passion for world-building and all sorts of systems and mechanics and in general just, magic, but another is because I want it to be a central part of the story, as characters evolve their understanding and connection to it evolves as well.

Characters and Relationships

I intend to focus heavily on the characters as well, so I guess you could say I want to share the focus of the story in 50/50 on the characters and their dynamics and personal growth, and on the world and greater plot? The two work in tandem, characters make choices that drive events and events drive characters to make choices and it’s something that I’d like to balance! I want to portray friendships, struggles, the fundamental things that make people people; selflessness, charity, love, all of these, which leads into another point:

Love and Emotion

I hope to, as a result of events written for characters, and the dynamics between them themselves, to show a lot of emotion and experiences for the cast to experience, many difficult ones, dealing with events that are larger than life, consequences, guilt, responsibility and the like. I mentioned pain as a simply summary for my intent to place characters up against things that will break them, against responsibilities that are far too heavy and great for them to bear, up against consequences for which the guilt will keep them up at night. Characters who make the wrong choices, and who have to live with that, characters who are wronged by an unjust world, characters who hurt and who bleed. And characters who most importantly get up after all of it, eventually, and keep going.

I don’t think I’d write a story where they fail however, in the end. The pain will be a hardship, yes, emotional and physical, but it will also be a crucible for their success and the ways they think in the future, facing other things through the prism of their experiences.

The World!

I am what you could call a slut for world-building. Cities, people, countries, nature, biology, history, all of it is just so much fun, and working on intricacies and cool details is something I adore doing.

I intend for the scale of the story to encompass the world, with grand events that have huge impact, as well as travels that take the cast from one side of the world to the other and back again!

Considering my mention of pain, and how you said that it was interesting! I view the world of the setting to be a beautiful but uncaring world. One which you can admire for all its intricacies and details and it’s nature and vistas, but one in which you must take care to not be torn apart by, as it will chew you up and leave you to be buried and forgotten. People, as powerful as they may seem, are nothing against the incomprehensible vastness of what is the world, nature. That sort of energy to it plays into events and all!

Summa Summarum

I don’t think I can give a plot summary, yet, as while I could have done so maybe a month ago, a LOT of the ideas I had, I’ve shaken up and hope to replace with something I can be more proud of, but I can give some general vibes as to it:

A high fantasy/dark fantasy story set in a time period mixing elements from the late 1500s to the early 1800s, with a world fundamentally ancient, magical, and remaining deeply mysterious.

A cast of broken and yet to be broken characters who find family in each other, who find love together, who support each other when faced with a cruel, and beautiful world.

A mystery of sorts that moves in the shadows, the more that is uncovered, the deeper the roots seem to lead, and the higher the branches stretch into the sky…

Hope that answers some of your questions! I know it’s probably not quite what would be a good explanation of it, but the truth is I don’t even know where I want the story to go with how many things I’m thinking of reworking, as I’m coming back to it now, but, I hope to work on it heavily over the summer and I’ll be sure to provide and ample second take to answer this once I know! ✨

It's been a long time since I listened to it and I pulled it up again and I *tottally* see why that's anxceit vibes and they're such soft anxceit vibes and I love them lots. I was wanting to make an Anxceit playlist specifically for writing to and this is the first song I'm adding :D I have a couple of blurry ideas for it but nothing concrete yet but I'll def keep it on my mind via the brainrot playlist. I've been wanting to do a childhood friends to lovers trope and this song is also *very* good inspo for that. Also just,,, domestic anxceit I don't write much of that and I *should*. Even if I do write something, your interpretation, your art, your story is just as cool as important as anybody else's and I highly recommend writing it and I'd be excited to read it! Though I imagine it would be in another anxceit deepdive because your anonymity for your comfort is super valid. If anybody wants to tell me songs that are just anxceit and no you do not have to explain it, feel free to do so because I would like that a lot! And yes I'm aware I have a very specific interpretation of anxceit I like which is likely *very* clear the anxceit stuff I do, but I'm open to other interpretations! It's what being in a fandom is all about to me!
