Hi! I'm starting my annual tradition of rewatching random Gilmore Girls episodes and would love to hear your favorite and least favorite GG couples! In order if you want to make it more of a challenge :) I love your backdrop pic and am guessing you're an LL fan?!

Hey! Thank you for the ask! Love that you’re doing a random ep rewatch! I’ve been itching to rewatch Gilmore and now that it’s December, going to watch all the winter episodes before hitting the Christmas ones closer to the holidays!

I’ve actually just posted an ask where I ranked all the relationships in the show, so I’ll tell you my favourites and least favs for both Lorelai and Rory, and tell you why.

Starting off with Lorelai because you very much guessed right. Luke and Lorelai have a choke hold over my heart like nothing else has. On my first watch of the show it was (and frankly still is) the otp I cared about the most. They have their issues (and I wished ASP would have actually helped them grow from their mistakes but let me not get into it), but I think ultimately they just work so well for each other!

Going onto least fav, there is no surprise that it’s Lorelai and Chris. He just.. idk as much as he says he knows her, he doesn’t fit in her life anymore. Even when they got married he felt like such an odd element in her life. He doesn’t work for what she’s built for herself. Nor does he ever care about his daughter in the way that he should. And don’t get me started on the fact this man just throws money (once he finally has it lol) at things like being rich is what makes a good man/partner/father.

Okay.. moving on to our favourite bookworm, Rory! And.. this on is a little tricky because I’m kind of in between. I do have a favourite tho, that being Rory and Jess. There is just too much chemistry not to be them. The way they have so much in common but are different enough that they learn from each other and make one another better. That shit is just beautiful! I wished that we could have seen more of them and we were definitely robbed of seeing more of their relationship even when they were in a relationship. Which makes the ship a little sad because a lot of it tends to be my mind thinking about what could have been if the show had let us see these two be together once Jess and Rory had grown. They have so much potential, so much that could have been and in mind he is ultimately her endgame. He’s able to ground her into reality and remind her what she can’t see or believe in, and she reminds him that he’s someone worthy to love, someone who is more than he and others think of himself. Ugh they’re just so good.

But then come my close first, Rory and Logan.. I can’t deny that they have chemistry and they have such great moments. I don’t think he’s the best boyfriend.. frankly none of them are they all need to be better, but again, that can probably be said about every character. They’re all very humanly flawed, and that’s not a bad thing at all. What we get with Logan that we don’t with Jess is time. We have time to see Logan develop, to change, to be someone that Rory could be with in their relationship. We see them live together, to fight for each other. He helps bring her out of her shell, showed her that there was more to the world then sitting back and watching it. But there are times where I do think that as much as he tried he doesn’t really know her. He tends to give Rory the choice to do what she wants but then also pulls her in the direction he wants more often than not.

Anyway, both Jess and Logan have their issues. So does Rory for that matter. But ultimately I think Jess grows up and becomes someone consistently better, whereas as much as he tries, Logan ends up repeating the same mistakes more often than not.

For the least fav you can easily guess that it’s Dean. Season one Rory and Dean had some cute moments. And I can forgive him for the ‘I love you’ break up because they were young teenagers, and as Lorelai says when it comes to matters of the heart it all comes out in moron. But once Jess is in the picture the writers really threw Dean under the bus and made him an ew character 😅😅 and it very much make me not like him.

So that’s probably more detail than you were looking for but I had fun diving into it, so thank you again for the ask!

My favorite book/season/etc: Season 4 I think

My favorite episode: I'm not sure. I've only seen the show beginning to end once and haven't rewatched any episodes. I love "Ozymandias," but I'm not sure if that's my favorite individual episode

My favorite cast member: Aside from Bryan Cranston, I'm not familiar with any of the cast members' work outside of Breaking Bad, so I don't have strong feeling about any of them. That being said, Anna Gunn might be my favorite for talking about the outrageous levels of misogyny directed at her character

My favorite ship: I don't have any ships. I like Jesse's relationship with Jane and later his relationship with Andrea. In both cases, the characters love each other, but they also make each other worse. Jane relapses after more than a year of sobriety, and Andrea meets Jesse while she's in recovery and Jesse is trying to sell meth to people in recovery. (Quick sidebar but I fucking HATE how the show kills off Andrea)

A character I’d die defending: Skyler and Marie. The hatred they receive is straight-up misogyny. Their husbands are a drug kingpin and an abusive cop, but I guess Marie being mildly annoying at times is a greater offense than her husband's police brutality.

A character I just can’t sympathize with: Easy answer perhaps, but Walter. I think it's hilarious that he's worshiped as some alpha male hero when in reality he's a pathetic weasel who's a bully at best and an active tormentor at worst. The way he abuses and gaslights Jesse is horrific. Plus, you know, he tries to sexually assault Skyler.

A character I grew to love: Jesse. I think it took me longer to warm up to him than it did for other fans (I had a very hard time with his frequent use of the r-slur in the early seasons), but after a while I just wanted him to get the hell out of the life that Walter forced him into and live his own life.

My anti OTP: I have no idea what the popular ships in the show are, but I hope no one earnestly ships Walter and Skyler or Hank and Marie. Both of those women deserve better than their shitty husbands.

Honestly I've had a LOT of good ships with Mia. The most recent OTP is probaby Mia and Freddy with @coptm. Sadly they've been taking a break from RP. But other good ones were with @brkbd and @buriedwith-blog. I also had a ship with a Kelly from AVED.

What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?

Heck pretty much all of it. I love the fluffy stuff, the angsty stuff. I'll write the spicy stuff now and then but I suck at it. I just adore shipping and Mia loves all the flirty and physical stuff from it.

How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?

I mean I don't mind an age gap. As long as they both met when they were fully into adulthood and it's completely consensual. Mia is 26 and I don't see her going for anyone younger than 21. And 21 is pushing it for me. But I'm probably good with 10 years, maybe 15 years. Big age gaps don't make me uncomfortable unless like the older person knew the younger when they were under 18. That makes it weird for me.

Are you selective when shipping?

I can be. It just depends on how well Mia and the other muse gets on. I've ship her with some pretty random characters, like freakin young Magneto from xmen and Jesse from Breaking Bad lol. So when it comes for fandoms I am not picky. Mia's the type that would find someone she would want to bang from any fandom.

How far do steamy moments have to go before they’re considered NSFW?

When hands start going lower and the panting and moaning starts. It usually goes under a read more or a fade to black.

Not gonna lie, I've shipped her with a few Ash's in my day. Younger Ash and even older Ash (talk about an age gap lmao). Someone writing Ash even wanted him to be her long lost dad. That was when there were a bunch of Ash blogs around and they all wanted a different dynamic with Mia.

She also had a thing with a werewolf character. She made out with the main dude from the 2016 Blair Witch movie (Heather's brother). She had a relationship with a Rafe from Uncharted (i totally forgot about that one.) Also a Roman from Hemlock Grove.

I also had a super fun platonic ship going with a Ricky from trailer park boys. My girl has gone through it with various ships.

I don't mind if it just comes naturally in RP. It's funner that way. But it's also okay to ask. That makes it easier sometimes. But like it is super easy to ship with Mia. Even if it's just like a one night stand of friends with benefits. Girl likes to just make out sometimes without commitment.

The Clone Wars drabble.

A/N: I'm not sure about the translation. If something is wrong, please don't kick me. This drabble is kind of my personal canon. No backstory, no sequel. Only calmness and one of my favorite otp (you should know them all:3)

Hurt/Comfort, AU, songfic (30 seconds to Mars – 100 suns).

Trigger Warnings: schizophrenia, anxiety.

Summary: After the mission to Umbara, Kix started having mental problems. He is haunted by hallucinations, the voices of the dead brothers in his head do not allow him to sleep peacefully. When Jesse finds out about this, he suggests that they leave everything and run away. Kix doesn't mind.

He was always attracted to Shili. Attracted with its clear sky, mountain ranges and dense forests. A native of Kamino rarely gets the chance to see something like this. Feel how soft grass tickles your bare feet. Something in his soul stirred once when he first saw how drops of dew were falling from small coniferous needles, when he heard how a mischievous river was running among the mountains. Even the locals greeted the clones with all their warmth and hospitality, provided them with shelter.

Jesse suggested they run away somewhere. Kix wasn't mistaken with the choice.

The night birds are screaming. The bonfire spews dozens of sparks with a crack. Slowly, the lights in the wooden houses are dying out, even the noisy youngsters go to bed for the night. The first stars twinkle. The village goes to bed.

The last lamp goes out. Quietly the fire is smoldering. The sound of water in the distance. The forest nearby looks as if a violent artist has filled it with black paint: it was no longer visible in it the individual outlines of trees and animals. Nothing but darkness.

Once upon a time, Kix would have been scared. After the mission to Umbara, he quickly developed a fear of the dark. But just as quickly, mental illness pushed it into the background. It no longer seemed to him that a giant iron centipede or something worse could break out of the darkness. The clone chuckled. At least something fell into place.

He sat like that, listening to the measured sound of the mountain river that flowed down the slope, for a couple of hours. The cup with the long-cooled caf leaned forward slightly in relaxed hands, the knees were tucked in, the fingers trembled slightly. Some kind of Mandalorian lullaby was coming out of his mouth quietly, almost inaudibly.

And complete silence in his head.

It's happened so often since he fell apart.

Hi! Thanks for the ask (spoiler: I still haven’t seen the whole show, lol)

Luke/Lorelai: otp! The only reason I haven’t finished the show is they were stressing me out after breaking up. I think they’re a great match, sweet, and have a lot to learn from each other as well as unique understandings of each other.

Rory/Dean: cute at first. Not at all a fan of Dean post their break-up. Specifically him putting his nose where it didn’t belong and idk cheating on his wife.

Rory/Jess: loved them from the start, however, Jess had a lot of growing and emotional stuff to work through so they weren’t a good fit. Basically their relationship was toxic to start. But in the opposite of Dean he came back perfect and they were finally right for each other.

Rory/Logan: brutally honest? I don’t like Logan at all, I find him annoying (mostly cause he’s like the same guy who bullied Rory in s1) and childish and stuck up. But mostly I don’t like how he influences Rory and who she became in the relationship.

M/F OTP: there are others I really like or love in a more normal way, but Emma/Julian Will/Tessa and Jem/Tessa are the ones that hit on another level for me emotionally, I’m clinically insane about them. Also it’s a bit hilarious to think about, since this was formative media for me (I first read TID in late elementary/middle school and TDA as they were coming out in high school) how my taste in ships generally speaking was shaped… like if you look at pairings I gravitate towards in other fandoms since there are def patterns xd. The impact!

Other M/F ships I have love for (including this category because ik i don’t talk about them as much and in another fandom where I had less dynamics I’m super fond of to choose from I could have placed them in that first category think of them as like second tier Otp’s for me ): Mark/Cristina, James/Cordelia, Simon/Isabelle (last one also was formative they were thee hot girl/soft boy nerd ship to me in middle school. Those are less important) is to be able to properly write fic about them, like it genuinely pisses me off this fandom is so boring and tasteless I can’t believe I actually miss the legacies fandom they were annoying as hell but at least they understood that when women do dark magic together it’s polite to write detailed analysis of how gay they are 😭. So those are my favorites Ik I failed at picking just one. Oh I also adore Emma and Cristina’s friendship although I also sometimes ship them romantically

Anti-OTP: The worst ship to me is Jordan/Maia but it’s been a long time so the vitriol has worn off and I don’t have another solid notp besides them but the other canon pairings I’m #unimpressed with are Clace Ghostwriter and Gracetopher … Lucie/Jesse probably irks me the most these days because I actually want to like them because the concept is so good but the execution falls flat for me and I really like Lucie and want someone more interesting for her (like Grace lol.)

This is the best fandom and best ship EVER. Some fandoms wait years for a hand brush or flirty glance. I know upstead has been a “slow burn” but I love that it wasn’t a trope-y and drawn out flirting. I love that they built up mutual respect, admiration and dependability and then just WENT for it and are totally in love.

A/N: I hate her, I hate her, I hate her, I hate her, I hate her, I hate her! Sorry everyone, the angst took over this one and what I had intended to be another fun romp a la Girl Fight turned into a pit of emotion that I couldn’t dig myself out of. I’m gonna go cry.

“Baby, you know we can just go home, right?” Ransom gave you a tired but indulgent smile when he looked at you, tucking his fingers under your chin and tilting your head back so he could look into your eyes while you swallowed thickly.

“No, I’m not gonna give your mother the satisfaction of seeing me duck out of this thing.” You got that stubborn set to your jaw that told him to quit trying to take care of you, because proving to his bitch mother you could actually make it through one of these stupid events without causing some kind of scene was more important than your comfort right now.

You felt bile rise in your throat and swallowed it again. This was fucking ridiculous, you weren’t even on a boat, just the dock. But you still felt like you were going to vomit at any second, watching the motion of the boats rocking on the water making your gut lurch. It almost made you wonder if Linda knew about your stomach’s aversion to being on water when she had insisted on the two of you attending their fucking sailing club’s final regatta. 

“Here we go, one scopolamine patch.” You could’ve kissed Anne when she handed it to you, grateful that Ben’s boat was moored in this marina so you didn’t have to spend the rest of this stupid thing constantly swallowing your own vomit. “Why didn’t you bring your own?”

“She said she’d be fine if she didn’t actually go on the boats.” Ransom ignored the glare you shot him when he talked to Anne over your head, rubbing your arm softly when he pulled you closer to him.

“Did I tell you how much I hate that you two get along?” You frowned when Ransom pressed his lips to your hair, slapping the patch on your neck and sighing when you felt your stomach start to settle.

Anne just laughed at you, shaking her head as she sipped on her cocktail and leaned against Ben. The fact that this guy actually treated you like you deserved did a lot to endear him to her, even if he was an asshole sometimes.

You had been worried at first about introducing Anne to Ransom’s idiot friends, no matter how much they had grown on you. But your friend could hold her own, her no nonsense attitude endearing her to the girls as she chewed out Logan for some dumbass comment while Dylan and Chaz just chuckled that now there were two of you.

This was one of the few things that you actually felt out of your element with, since you could not give a single fuck about sailing with your stupid seasickness. But you could tell Ran was enjoying himself, and every fucking time he got near the water he looked so fucking windswept and dreamy so it was well worth the nausea. That was all gone now though, the scopolamine making you feel just the tiniest bit drowsy and pleasantly warm while Ran pulled you tight against his chest as he whistled for his team’s boat between nuzzling himself into your hair with pleased little hums. Even Linda giving you some vicious side eye couldn’t break you out of your good mood, the warmth of Ransom wrapped around you like a balm for your typical nervous energy. Then you heard Jess mutter an “oh shit” and the sound of a bratty, whiny voice broke right through your pleasant haze and made your spine stiffen.

“Rannie?” That fucking blonde bitch would show up to something like this, just to ruin your day. “I thought that was you. Oh, still with your tramp, I see.”

“Sloane.” His grip around you grew almost painfully tight, growling into your neck as he did his best to take deep breaths. “Don’t you have some puppies to skin, or something?”

You grabbed his hand and wound your fingers through his as you felt him tense up, pressing your lips to the inside of his wrist in an attempt to help him calm down. It had been your sincere hope that after you beat the shit out of this cunt you would never have to see her again, but when had you ever been that lucky?

“Aww, Rannie, thought you couldn’t talk without this bitch’s permission.” She looked mildly uncomfortable when you shifted your gaze to her, your eyes narrowing in a warning that she chose to ignore. “Been missing you a whole lot, baby, when’re you gonna stop slumming around?”

“What the fuck do you want, Sloane?” You were chanting over and over in your head that you were not going to fight this cunt, catching Anne starting to square up from the corner of your eye and giving her a small shake of the head to get her to stand down.

“I’m not talking to you, slut.” She must’ve been drunk, you had definitely taught her her lesson last time. “Just because you can give this bastard a good, sloppy fuck doesn’t mean you get to keep him. You don’t know what he really needs, and he’s too fucking stupid to tell you. God, you’re only sticking with him because he’s such a good fuck, right? That’s like, his only redeeming quality, except for the money. And you and your low class pussy don’t even know what to do with such a fine piece of eye candy.”

“Ok, you need to leave, Sloane.” Ransom may have been full of the anxiety he always felt around his ex, but the way your whole body was wound tight like a spring let him know you were ready to get violent. So he pressed a brief, soothing kiss to your hair and moved to guide this drunk bitch away from another beating.

“Don’t you fucking touch me, god, you really are a fucking moron.” Sloane jerked away from him when he tried to guide her away from your group, turning and sneering derisively at him. “Fuck’s sake, Linda was right, she really should have aborted you so we wouldn’t have to deal with your stupid bull shit.”

“What the fuck did you just say?” You reached your arm out to grip Ransom’s shoulder on instinct when he recoiled like he had been slapped, pulling him towards you protectively as you stared disbelieving at the people around you. “What the fuck did she just say?”

Sloane was just grinning at you wickedly as she sipped on her drink, like she had never and would never do anything wrong in her life. You almost forgot your promise you’d made to not get yourself kicked out of this event, but then Ran was clutching at your waist and making a choked sound and you turned back to him with concern.

There was no one to hold back Anne though, and she hadn’t made any promises about being on her best behavior. So she handed Ben her purse and punched that bitch right in the jaw.

You just gave a grateful look to your best friend before she bitch slapped that twat, security already starting to rush towards the fight as you guided Ransom towards the parking lot while he tried to regulate his breathing.

“Baby? Hey, Ran, look at me.” You’d never seen him look so completely lost, his eyes glistening with pent up emotion when you finally got him to look at you and you felt your heart break. “Oh honey, can you make it to the car?” He just nodded at you as another strangled sob escaped his throat and every fiber of your being ached to give him some form of comfort. “Ok, gimme the keys.”

He handed them to you and you wound your arm around him to guide him towards the beemer, letting him lean heavily on your shoulder and murmuring soft, soothing noises to him as you tried to think of something you could do for him. You knew that bitch was an abusive piece of work but Ran had been so hesitant to talk about it and you didn’t want to push him about it before he was ready, but if the way he reacted to her barb was any indication of how she treated him you might end up killing that bitch.

Ransom’s breathing seemed even more ragged by the time you reached the beemer, barely giving you a chance to shove the front seat down so the two of you could climb into the back and you could instruct him to stretch out over your lap. Your own throat was starting to get tight when he let out a wretched sob, the fingers of one hand running through his hair while the other smoothed over his chest as you watched his face closely.

“Baby, I need you to breathe for me, ok?” You were trying your best to keep your voice low and even, taking a deep breath and waiting for him to mirror your actions until he was pressing his face to your stomach with a piteous whine once his breathing had regulated slightly. “That’s it, you’re doing so good, Ran, just keep breathing.” 

He sighed deeply when you continued murmuring soft words of praise to him, his fingers curling over yours on his chest as he looked up at you and felt the softness of your gaze spread like warmth through his body. 

“I’m sorry.” He moaned when you pulled gently on his hair, his voice raspy with the tears he’d managed to swallow.

“No, baby.” You curled over him and brushed your lips over his forehead, trying not to cry when he wrapped his arms around your neck and let out another shaky breath. “You don’t apologize, ever, you hear me?”

“I thought I was over this shit.” He buried his face in your neck and breathed deep, your warm scent washing over him and finally making him relax. “I don’t want to put this on you.”

“Listen to me, Ransom.” You pulled back a little so you could gaze into his eyes, resting your forehead against his and maneuvering until you were laying next to him across the backseat. “I don’t know if you really think I’m just with you for the sex or what, but when I say I love you, I fucking mean it. I love all of you, so much, and that means that you can put all of it on me, ok? I’m not going anywhere.”

“Fuck, I love you, too.” He whined when you pressed your lips to his gently, drinking you in and pulling you to him as tight as possible when you let him deepen the kiss. “Need you so much.”

“I know, Ransom, I’m here.” You moved your lips up to his cheeks when he finally let his tears start to fall, kissing each one that stained his cheeks as you splayed your body over his while he held you. “My sweet boy, it’s ok. Let go for me, baby.”

He buried his face in your shoulder and did as you asked. It wasn’t loud or dramatic, but you could feel the warm wetness of his tears against the bare flesh of your neck while his chest heaved against yours. You cooed soft words of encouragement into his hair as he wept, letting a few of your own tears fall as you felt the tension slowly seep from his body.

Neither of you were sure how long you laid there tangled with each other, but eventually Ransom felt the last of the pain drain out of him until he was sinking against the seat with exhaustion. Having you there with him was like a balm for his soul, the way your eyes moved to search his once you felt him let out a deep sigh making his lips quirk in a small smile. His eyes were brilliantly blue from the tears he had shed, but you could see a glimmer of something hopeful there, and that made you relax. You sighed when he framed your face with his hands and pulled your lips back to his, the kiss chaste but full of emotion that he was too exhausted to vocalize at the moment.

“You ready to go home?” You pressed your hand over his heart when you leaned back a little, glad to feel that it had slowed down to a normal rhythm as he nodded for you. “Ok, you just stay back here and rest, alright? When we get home I’m gonna draw us a nice bath and we’ll just spend the rest of the day vegging.”

“That sounds good.” He watched you climb back into the front seat with a deep breath, squeezing your hand when you let it linger on his chest before letting you pull it away with reluctance.

You peeked at him through the rear view mirror before pulling out, relieved when you watched his eyes drift closed as he sagged into the seat and let his exhaustion take over. It almost hurt you how much you loved that man, and if you ever saw that cunt who hurt him again, there was a good chance you were going to jail for him.

Ransom was still dozing by the time you pulled up to the house, but he roused quickly when he felt you shake him awake. He let you help him out of the car and smiled warmly at you when you brought your hand up to cup his jaw, humming contentedly when you let him bury his face in your hair as you guided him into the house.

You pressed a kiss to his cheek once you were inside and instructed him to go to the en suite while you got some wine, watching him closely as he headed up the stairs before moving to grab a good bottle from the rack. There was a buzzing from your purse and you pulled out your phone, texting Anne that everything was ok and no, you didn’t need her to smash that bitch’s windows in. She was detailing all the ways she was going to fuck that cunt up and making you chuckle when suddenly the last caller ID you expected flashed across your screen.

“Can I help you with something, Linda?” You poured the Syrah into a decanter and moved to grab a couple of glasses, curious why exactly she was calling you.

“Y/N…” she sounded massively uncomfortable but you could not bring yourself to give a single fuck. “I just… I heard what Sloane said and I wanted to make sure Ransom was alright. He wasn’t answering my calls though.”

“Good for him.” You chewed on your lip as you considered what you wanted to say to her. “Was she lying?”

“What?”

“Did you tell your own child you should have aborted him? Or was that abusive cunt you kept forcing down your son’s throat being a lying bitch?” 

“I never… I didn’t tell him.” She still sounded like she thought she was in the right, and you might have spit in her face if she was in front of you.

“Oh, but you said it, didn’t you?” You sneered and downed the glass of wine you’d poured when you saw her number pop up. She didn’t deny it, and you quickly moved to pour yourself another glass. “You’re a fucking piece of work, Linda.”

“I don’t have to explain myself to you.” You could  practically hear her spine straightening over the phone and you rolled your eyes at her. “You don’t know what it was like trying to raise him. Stubborn and spoiled and…”

“Goodbye, Linda. Don’t fucking call either of us again.” You hung up before she could continue, tossing your phone across the counter and draining your glass before grabbing the decanter and glasses before heading upstairs.

“Hey, baby.” He was already soaking when you walked into the steam filled en suite, his head leaning back against the edge of the drop in tub and giving you a lazy grin. “You have trouble picking a wine?”

“No.” You set the decanter and glasses on the tray at the tub’s edge and pinned your hair off your neck before getting undressed and sliding into the water with him. “I had to talk to your mother.” 

“Oh, you had to?” He pulled you against his chest and sighed when you tucked your face into his neck.

“Yeah, I wanted to make sure she didn’t disturb us for the rest of the weekend.” You took a deep breath when he started trailing his fingers over your spine, the warmth of the water seeping through your body and helping you relax as you sank into him. “You wanna talk about what happened?”

“Later.” His arms wound tightly around you, nuzzling into your hair and breathing in the scent of you that always made him feel like he was home. “Just wanna hold you for now.”

i'm rewatching gilmore girls and I'm on s1 and I find it hilarious how everyone assumed something was going on between luke/lorelai and thought so for four seasons I loved it though!! when I get to s2 I'm going to get hit with so many rory/jess feeeeels I'm going to sob I'm serious!! they were one of my first otps and still.one of my biggest otps and they should've been endgame!!!! amy said she planned them being endgame but I blame the fact they weren't on milo/alexis breaking up irl even though their okay with each other but they kept bringing him back for a reason then they broke up and he wasn't in S7 so yeah lol side note: I hate logan and rory/logan and I probably still do when I get to S5 lol

Thomas x Alastair: death from cute 🥹, I’m currently on a reread and their talk in the sanctuary almost killed me… again. I just hope that they can figure things out in CoT, they’re my wholesome/unproblematic OTP

Cordelia x James: honestly kinda torn, I want to love them wholeheartedly and every time Jaime calls her Daisy I feel like I do, but it’s just so angsty and I think with Matthew being my absolute favourite I just can’t handle the situation, I am praying that Cassie finds a satisfying ending for them🙏

Cordelia x Matthew: actually I am surprisingly fond of the ship, they’re amazing friends at the very least, just with how well she can read him and how much he trusts her, but on my reread I’ve noticed Cordelia gushing over Matthew quite a bit, and idk how they could ever work out but I wouldn’t be mad

James x Matthew: look, I really really really loved Will and Jem, but something about these two gets me, they’re my favourite Parabatai, and I even ship them, though obviously they could never be canon. But they have so many tender moments that break my heart every time🥹😫❤️ no matter how, I just want them both and their relationship to be okay after CoT but something is telling me I won’t get that

Ariadne x Anna: I have a crush on Anna, so personally I very much feel for Ariadne. Their scenes are always a delight to come across, despite the angst. Anna just needs to jump over her own shadow, but apart from that they’re giving power couple energy ⚔️

Lucie x Jesse: our unproblematic straight relationship😇 as far as raising your boyfriend from the dead can be unproblematic🤫 I‘m rooting for them but I’m not as invested as some other ships.

Cordelia x Lucie: I am freakin‘ mad that we won’t get their ceremony within the TLH series😤 they’re so sweet and exude Giel power when fighting together, but are underwritten at times in my opinion. I just need them to trust each other fully again😩 As for romantic shipping, any AU with them would slap, but I don’t feel it in the books.

Kit x Grace: they had like 2 scenes together but I am so invested in this ship! They both deserve someone who genuinely understands them. Kit could give Grace something to have purpose and confidence, and she could be the Marie to his Pierre🥹❤️ obviously she needs to be forgiven first, and she might not be ready for a relationship right now, but I feel like they would build trust slowly, and Kit would take forever to court her 😆

Matthew x Claude: okay so, unpopular opinion but I have a weird fascination with Kellington and he’d have me wrapped around his finger if I ever were to enter the Hell Ruelle. Pretty sure he’s an ass, but since we don’t know his age I wouldn’t straight up say he’s as terrible as Charles. though obviously to Matthew he’s dead and fucking should be. (still curious what happened between them exactly) And I hope to GOD that he won’t bite Math. Couldn’t forgive that 🙅🏻‍♀️😡

Grace x James: omg, not just terrible but actually magical sexual assault. he might’ve genuinely cared for Grace before he wore the bracelet but what happened after was just🤢 I like Grace as a character with a redemption arc but whatever is Grace/James needs to be burnt with heavenly fire. (in another timeline they’re really cute childhood friends.)

For now they're just unhealthy distractions for each other. For Cordelia - Matthew is a possibility to run away of herself and her problems. And for Matthew - Cordelia is an illusion of a healthy happy life.

4)Ohhh James and Matthew. I remember that before COI someone (quit famous on here, but I forgot who😭) was 100% SURE Matthew's in love with James. And they made like 134551 essays why it's true. So you're not weird. They definitely have a strong bond and I REALLY HOPE that CC won't make Cordelia an obstacle to their friendship. The only thing I love about Matthew in COI is how much he genuinely cares about James. It's obvious even when they're mad at each other 😭✋

10)NOOOOO no NOW it's not a ship at all. But I'll tell you sth: as an old fan I remember some hints from CC that Grace and James were supposed to be a real thing without any magic involved. If you find some old posts or YouTube videos (from 2014 to 2019) you'll see that actually lots of people were invested in this pairing. And somewhere in 2015, even though I shipped Jordelia, I was really curious about their dynamic. And then CC decided to change the majority of the plot, which is okay cause so much time has passed, but I'm still upset about it. I believe the original Grace/James was far more interesting.
