Well, it’s official then. The Demon King and the Supreme Deity (considering the official canon material of the manga) already had a more “intimate” experience in their life. Now we question who is the demon bros canon mother and Elizabeth original father.

Okay but can we talk about the difference between the DK’s throne room and zeldris and gelda’s BECAUSE ITS CRAZY
like the fact that the dk’s is basically like hell incarnate isn’t surprising whatsoever. Like there’s lava all over the place and it’s dark and ominous as hell in there (fitting for his bastard ass)
But than you look at zeldris and geldas and it’s so full of life like there’s so many pretty stain glass windows, the walls are a muted color but not in a depressing way and have fire torches on them, there’s crystals all over and even their throne is one thing which suits them perfectly
Like they really saw how the dk had it and went FUCK THAT SHIT WE ADDING WINDOWS
God bless lol

Request: Could you make Hc’s for the Demon King, the Supreme Deity, Cusack and Chandler if they had a child (Seven Deadly Sins)?
Tw: Yandere themes, toxic relationship, possessive behavior, obsession, isolation, overprotective behavior, manipulation, gaslighting
Parenthood
Demon King
⬛Whether you are the youngest, the oldest or the middle child, the compassion and blatant favouritism that the Demon King expresses around you makes it quite obvious that you are the one who he holds all of his hopes and compassion for. Mountains of expectation rest upon you as he would never accept any of his other children as the future successor of the Demon Clan as he only sees in you the qualities he desires for an heir. Training sessions with him are brutal and long as he pushes you over your limit and far beyond yet he does it with the intention of helping you to unlock your full potential. He tells you secrets and teaches you things that no one else will ever receive from him all to ensure that you will stand on top of the clan one day. Meliodas and Zeldris are most of the time coldly dismissed by him as long as they did not do anything that could earn them his ire yet he always seems to have time for you when you seek him out, even if it might not look like he is listening to what you say. Any chances of bonding with others are brutally crushed by him as he believes that friendship or romance would only distract and weaken you from your true destiny.
Supreme Deity
⚪Whilst your mother may not be that distinguishable from her rival the Demon King, the Supreme Deity puts on a much sweeter face as she puts you through harsh training. If you should be discouraged, she will take you in her arms and tell you sweet nothings to encourage you. As you are her own flesh and blood, she strives to keep you from even those from her own clan as she sees you as a superior and pure little thing that has to be protected and raised by only her. If anything bothers you, she wishes to that you only seek out her so that she can cater to your worries from there on. If you do not fulfill her expectations or go against her orders, her angelic face can crack yet she usually always looks for the blame in other things who may have influenced you in a bad way for which they will be undoubtedly punished. Isolation is your daily life yet she assures you that she only does this because it is for the best. She wouldn't want anyone planting stupid ideas into your head after all. Whilst she wants you to eventually take over the heaven one day, the Supreme Deity simultanously yearns for you to never stop depending on her as she wishes for you to always see her as your kind mother.
Cusack
👁️Cusack is actually quite responsible as a father to you. He is obviously loyal and attached and thinks very highly of you as he deems you as better as most of the other demons in the clan. At the same time he is not completely doting as his other half is. There is still a strict training schedule you are put through but it isn't as brutal as what the Supreme Deity or the Demon King would put their child through as Cusack is very observant and optimises the schedule depending on your abilities. Any advancement you make though is one he praises you highly for and he will either instantly behead someone or critisise them in patronising ways if they should dare to speak even one ill word about his precious child. He spends most of the time with you unless he has some mission to do yet considering his high rank, he usually returns pretty soon after his departure. Outside of the training or even fights against other beings, both circumstances during which he always keeps an eye on you, Cusack is rather lax and laid-back. He allows you to do whatever you want and will excuse your actions if they should have caused some trouble as long as you don't make troubles for the Demon King or his sons.
Chandler
🟢Chandler is the one who spoils his own child perhaps the most as he harbors a huge amount of affection for them deep inside his pitch-black heart. Love is blind as many people often say and that couldn't be truer than with Chandler as he is willing to forgive his child anything. It is certainly not a good way to raise his child but very few people dare to question his fatherhood, much less criticise it. Just like Cusack, Chandler will silence anyone who dares to question him and especially you, although he likes to act like the nice old man until the very end before he drops his facade and reveals his disgust and wrath for such crude and insolent words. The training he gives you is for normal humans obviously deadly but in comparison to everyone on this post, he is the one who goes the easiest on you as you may not be able to act completely lazy but you can slack off surprisingly much until your father finally asks you with a closed-eyed smile on your face that you should perhaps go back to training. He is slightly overprotective and smothering though, even during actual battle where he will obliterate everyone who dares to scratch your skin. Your father will always be there for you, little one.

𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐙𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐬'𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫.
I don’t think it was ever mentioned that Meliodas and Zeldris had a mom and weren’t just created directly by the Demon King, but I’m a firm believer they did have a mother—she just "disappeared" under some weird circumstances.
I mean, this is just my headcanon.
I mean, it’s pretty much certain they had a mother, and she spoiled them a lot when they were little kids—even when they were already strong, she kept doting on them. Back then, the Demon Realm had some level of peace because she managed to keep the Demon King in check. But everything fell apart when she suddenly disappeared. That’s when Meliodas became emotionally distant, Zeldris shut himself off, and the Demon King lost what little sanity he had left, turning completely cruel.
I also feel like things would’ve been different with Estarossa. I mean, when Gowther messed with everyone’s memories to make it all fit, he made Estarossa into an excessively spoiled brat. He probably did that because he knew Ygraine’s (Meliodas’ mother) personality and how she was with her kids. So, in this version, Estarossa really became a pampered kid, doted on by his mom because he didn’t have his own darkness. For years, he lived under her protection until his father, out of pity and after hearing her pleas, gave him a small amount of darkness to help him survive.
But when his mother disappeared, he completely fell apart. He couldn’t control his memories, and sometimes he’d feel like things were happening in his head that weren’t real. He would have panic attacks, desperately missing his mom, and his mind would create fake images where she rejected him, just like his father and Zeldris did.
Word:2607
Estarossa
Ygraine loved children, and the fact that she was now the mother of three little boys filled her with pure joy. She adored dedicating all her time to them—watching them grow and change brought her an indescribable warmth that overflowed into absolute happiness
When her firstborn, Meliodas, came into the world, Ygraine was overcome with joy, though tinged with sadness. Having a child meant she had to give up her responsibilities as the Commandment of Love—a frustrating reality. Yet, the thought of caring for the child who had grown inside her for months made her feel radiant. Her joy only grew as the Demon King himself often visited to check on her and the baby. Sometimes, he’d even stay in her chambers, sitting silently as Ygraine cradled little Meliodas in her arms, singing lullabies she made just for him. The Demon King never held the baby, only watching from a distance, but for Ygraine, these moments were precious. The mere thought of the great monarch sharing these small, intimate moments with her and her son filled her with immense happiness.
These sweet moments lasted for years, through Meliodas’s infancy and early childhood, until Ygraine became pregnant with their second child, Estarossa. His birth, however, brought disappointment to the Demon King, who felt no demonic power emanating from the boy. The monarch’s disgust for his own son was no secret—whispers and laughter spread through the Demon Realm about the “useless” prince. Many believed the Demon King would discard Ygraine for birthing such a defective child. Yet, he didn’t. Out of love for Ygraine and her devotion to Estarossa, he silenced every rumor and allowed the boy to live.
For Ygraine, it was different. From the moment she first held little Estarossa—or “Rossa,” as she lovingly called him—she was utterly captivated. The boy was a perfect blend of her and the Demon King, a sight that made her fall in love with him instantly. His small, fragile form awakened a protective instinct in her. She vowed to shield him from anyone and anything—even his father and older brother if necessary.
Now, Ygraine found herself in a quiet, desolate corner of the human realm with her youngest, Estarossa, while Meliodas trained under Chandler. Taking advantage of their solitude, she stepped outside with her baby to enjoy a bit of fresh air
The wind brushed against her face as the sun’s gentle rays warmed her skin. It was calming, a brief escape from her worries. She felt the soft, insistent tug of Estarossa feeding, occasionally biting down lightly, sending small jolts of pain through her. She chose to ignore the discomfort, focusing instead on her baby’s sweet face.
“You know, Rossa,” she began, her voice gentle, “I talked to your father, and he’s agreed to give you a little bit of demonic magic to make you stronger. Isn’t that amazing?”
The baby paused his feeding to stare at her with wide, curious eyes. He didn’t understand her words, but seeing her happy made him giggle, trying to mimic her smile.
“Yes, my love, it’s wonderful,” Ygraine laughed softly. “You should smile about it too. It took a bit of convincing—your father’s so grumpy, you know—but I’m sure, deep down, he loves us.”
She chuckled at her own words, her voice light and warm.
“I think you get me, don’t you? I’m sure you do. So maybe I should stop calling your father grumpy—he’s just… tough, that’s all. But don’t worry, sweet boy. Mama’s here, for you and Meliodas. To protect you, to spoil you both so much that you’ll forget how grumpy he can be.”
A now older Estarossa rested on his mother’s lap as Ygraine shifted to make herself more comfortable, her growing belly making it difficult. She lovingly stroked his hair, listening attentively as her son excitedly recounted what Meliodas had taught him. He spoke with wide-eyed admiration, his voice filled with awe.
"Then my big brother took his sword and sliced that nasty goddess clean in half, just like that, without even trying! And after that, all the others around her ran off scared!" Estarossa exclaimed, his small hands gesturing dramatically as he described the scene.
He hesitated for a moment before adding, "Oh, and he told me not to tell you about it… that he took me to see him kill that goddess, 'cause you might get mad."
As the boy kept talking, realization dawned on him. His words had spilled out too fast, and he’d let something slip that he shouldn’t have. Panic flickered in his eyes, and tears began to form. The thought of disappointing his older brother filled him with dread, and he looked up at his mother, his expression wavering between guilt and fear.
Ygraine fought the urge to laugh. The situation was amusing—her sweet little Rossa, so used to sharing everything with her, had accidentally revealed too much and was now on the verge of a meltdown. Though she was genuinely annoyed that Meliodas had exposed her younger son to such violence despite her warnings, there was something endearing about Estarossa’s childlike honesty and the way he was now drowning in nerves over betraying his brother's trust.
She softened her expression, placing a gentle hand on his cheek to calm him. "It’s okay, my little Rossa. Your brother won’t be mad because I won’t tell him you told me, alright? So don’t worry—this will be our little secret. Do we have a deal?"
She pulled the young boy into her lap fully, resting his head against her chest as she ran her fingers through his soft silver hair.
"Are you sure, Mommy? Please, don’t tell him! If he gets mad, he won’t take me with him anymore," Estarossa whimpered, tears streaming down his cheeks.
"I promise, my love," she said warmly, pressing a soft kiss to his forehead. "It’ll be our secret. You know your mother keeps all your secrets, no matter how strange or unexpected they are."
Without another word, Estarossa threw his arms around her, clutching her tightly in an embrace full of love and gratitude. Ygraine smiled softly, holding her son close, her hand gently stroking his back to soothe him.
"Don’t you worry, my little Rossa," she whispered. "You’ll always have me to protect you."
Meliodas
His father had truly beaten him this time. The great monarch had apparently decided that Meliodas was now strong enough to train directly with him and put him to the test. Summoning his eldest son, the Demon King launched relentless attacks—using different forms of magic and striking from all angles. At first, Meliodas managed to block a few blows, but the sheer intensity quickly drained him. Even as his energy faded, the attacks didn’t stop, leaving him battered and bleeding with deep wounds scattered across his small frame.
"I thought you were strong enough to defend yourself. Chandler praises you too much. Go heal yourself," the Demon King’s booming, weighty voice echoed across the training grounds.
Meliodas, still barely more than an infant, had only begun the second stage of his life a few months ago. Though he was strong enough to venture into the outside world, the harshness of his father’s words shook him. His small hands trembled as he forced himself to stand, his body aching.
"Yes, Father. I’m sorry I’m not strong enough," he replied, his voice wavering as he held back tears. He knew crying would only make things worse.
From the sidelines, Ygraine had watched the entire ordeal. Her heart ached with every blow her husband had delivered to her sweet boy. Ignoring the Demon King’s attempts to speak to her, she fixed him with a glare and rushed to Meliodas. Without hesitation, she scooped him into her arms, cradling his small, injured body close to her chest. Her steps were quick as she made her way back to their chambers, her mind racing with worry.
"YOU WENT TOO FAR THIS TIME!" she shouted, her voice laced with both anger and fear. "You need to let Meliodas rest! I’ll train him myself."
The Demon King, unbothered, frowned as he replied, "You spoil him too much, Ygraine. He’s my heir—he must be strong, no matter the cost."
"Please," Ygraine pleaded, desperation in her voice. "Just let me train him until he’s healed. That’s all I ask."
Her words hung heavy in the air. For a moment, the Demon King seemed to weigh her plea before sighing, his tone sharp with irritation. "Lately, all you do is beg me for things—ever since Estarossa’s birth, it’s been one ridiculous request after another. But fine. This will be the last time I give in to you. Train him yourself until he recovers."
Without waiting for a response, he turned and left. Ygraine wasted no time, hurrying back to her chambers with her son limp in her arms.
Later, she lay on her bed, Meliodas’s small frame resting on her chest as she gently ran her fingers through his blonde hair. Her magic flowed softly into his body, easing his pain and helping heal the wounds left by his father’s brutality. Beside them, little Estarossa slept peacefully, curled up with his head resting against her side.
"My sweet boy," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "Mama’s going to protect you from your father, even if it costs me my life. I’ll do everything I can to keep you safe."
Half-conscious, Meliodas stirred, his small hands gripping her tightly as he mumbled in a fragile voice, "D-Don’t say that, Mommy… I’ll get really strong, and I’ll protect you. And I’ll protect Estarossa too."
Ygraine’s heart swelled at his words, though tears pricked the corners of her eyes. She kissed his head softly and replied, "Of course you will, my brave boy. But for now, let your mama protect both of you."
With that, she held both her sons close, their warmth bringing her a fleeting sense of peace. Deciding to spend the coming weeks doting on her boys, she closed her eyes, vowing to help Meliodas heal—not just physically, but from the weight of his father’s cruelty.
ZELDRIS
The little Zeldris had only been born a few days ago, but in that short time, he had become utterly attached to his mother, refusing to be separated from her for even a minute. Every time someone tried to take him away from Queen Ygraine so she could rest, the tiny, dark-haired prince would burst into an unbearable cry that would shatter the eardrums of anyone nearby.
Yet, despite the exhaustion and weakness she had felt from the beginning to the end of her pregnancy, the queen didn't seem bothered by it. Even when she felt like she might collapse, the sound of her youngest prince's cries brought her a strange sense of joy. So, she would muster all her strength, trying every method she could to soothe him, succeeding for brief moments before his emerald eyes—the same as her firstborn's—would fill with fear again, only to be calmed by the sound of her voice.
"What is it, Zeldris? Why are you crying like this? Are you afraid of something, my prince?" she asked softly, her gaze warm and gentle. The baby looked at her attentively, as though he were trying to memorize every detail of her face.
"Why do you look at me so intently? I know your mother is beautiful, but you seem to be studying me quite seriously, little prince," she chuckled softly, her voice filled with affection.
"It seems I’m talking to myself, since you can’t fully understand me yet. But no matter. It looks like you still enjoy my voice, don’t you?" she smiled at him, rocking him gently in her arms, hoping to lull him into sleep, even if it was just for a few minutes, so that she too could get some rest.
"Now, let your mommy sleep for a little while. We’ll talk more later."
At this point, Zeldris was around 10 years old, and despite being a small child, he possessed immense magical power that filled both his father and mother with pride. His mother, in particular, was especially proud of her three princes.
She spent every day by his side, as her weakened condition didn’t allow her to do much. On good days, she could barely get out of bed, and even something as simple as helping her little son change his clothes was a great effort. Despite her limitations, she tried to pamper Zeldris, making sure he didn’t feel like she loved him any less. Whenever the young prince came home from training, she would heal his wounds, lying next to him and singing lullabies to help him relax and fall asleep, just as she had done when he was an infant—still the same child who felt lost when away from her.
"Mom, are you really okay? You look so tired. I can heal my wounds myself, or I can ask Meliodas to do it," Zeldris said, his young face full of concern.
"I'm fine, my prince. You know your mom is a little weak right now, but don't worry. I'll take care of your wounds, and then we can go out of the castle to see the animals in the human world," she said, her words strained. Even speaking left her lungs feeling like they were on fire.
"There's no need. I can go by myself so you don’t get tired," Zeldris offered, still worried about his mother’s health.
"No, we’re going together. I’m fine," Ygraine insisted. Zeldris knew it wasn’t wise to contradict his mother, so he finally fell silent, choosing to accept her decision.
However, when his mother left her room to head to her own chambers to change into something more comfortable and fetch her medicine—prepared by the magicians of Belialuin, who claimed it would cure the queen—Zeldris never imagined it would be the last time he’d see her. Hours passed as he waited for her to return, but she never came back. Eventually, curiosity and unease got the better of him, and he stepped out of his room, only to find the entire kingdom in chaos.
Everyone seemed to be in a state of hysteria, even his father, who rarely displayed any emotion. Zeldris couldn’t understand what was happening until he overheard one of the guards whispering to another that Queen Ygraine had vanished without a trace. No one had seen her leave the kingdom, or even her chambers. There was no sign of her, and no one could explain how such a thing had happened.
Hearing this broke Zeldris’s young heart. A crushing wave of guilt overwhelmed him as he thought, If only I had gone with her… if only I hadn’t let her go alone, she might still be here.
From that day forward, the peace and warmth that once existed in the Demon Realm disappeared completely. Even for the king’s own children, life became harsher. The once-distant but tolerable father they knew seemed to transform into someone unrecognizably cruel. Under the guise of "making them stronger," he treated Meliodas, Zeldris, and even Estarossa with merciless coldness.
Now it seemed as though he hated them. Zeldris watched in shock as his father even went so far as to threaten to strip Estarossa of the magic power their mother had begged for months to have bestowed upon him. It was as if with Ygraine’s disappearance, whatever humanity and softness the Demon King had possessed had vanished as well, leaving only bitterness and cruelty behind.

Oh yes. I love Meling, I breathe Meling and I eat Meling for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I love my Eternal Sunflowers so much that I could talk for hours and hours about their friendship.
Nakaba, Why didn't you give me more content about them other than some simple jokes, a fight, and King's thoughts on Meliodas during, I don't know, maybe more than twelve or thirteen years of being a Holy Knight? But, I'll settle only with what's in the manga, only with what I could get from the anime and the movies (Because, didn't anyone ask why it was King who went to look for Meliodas and not Elizabeth? HM?)
Well, that's how great my love for them is. 🌻🗡️💕💕

CRAZY THEORY INCOMING
I think my brain just glitched...
Ok so... Camelot. Arthur made Camelot through the power of Chaos right. At first, I found it weird that Arthur even needed to steal parts of Britannia to make Camelot. Chaos is incredibly powerful, it literally made three powerful deities that made their own realms for their own created races. So... why can't Arthur just make Camelot on its own. Then, it was later established that these places and people in Camelot are made through the wishes and wants of the people, without it there's nothing. If Chaos is so powerful, why is Arthur limited through that? Then it clicked.
The Sacred Tree is still alive
The Sacred Tree is essentially an embodiment of Nature. Disaster, a power granted by The Sacred Tree to the Fairy Kings is an ability that grants control over life and death.
The 'people' within Camelot function like a physical illusion. They're 'alive' but not really. They're just there, fueled by a wish. They don't even grow old, they just stay like that because that's all they are an illusion, they're not alive because there's no life.
The Demon King's power is darkness. The Supreme Diety's power is light. The Sacred Tree's power is life.
Notice how unnatural-looking the Chaos monsters are. Almost demonic even. That, to me, shows that Chaos is unstable.
The Demon King and his Commandments and The Supreme Deity and her graces are somewhat of an extension of themselves, it's their power passed to others. If we correlate this to Chaos creating the DK, SD and ST as Chaos sacrificing parts of their power, that power is lost or weakened because they have it. But the DK and SD are no longer present and since they are created by Chaos, that power most likely goes back to it. That is my assumption at least. But the graces are still out there. Ludo, Sariel, and Tarmiel died with their graces so they'll just go back after a few thousand years with their graces so that part of the SD probably didn't even go back to Chaos.
I made a post way back and on that, I compared the Commandments and Graces to Disaster as all three are just an extension of the DK, SD, and ST's power, in there I noted how Disaster is different as all three Fairy Kings can use it even if they're all present, it's not like the Commandments and Graces that only one person can use it. So that is also interesting.
There is also a complete lack of Sacred Tree information and just now, in 4kota is literally the first time we ever step foot inside the Fairy Realm and we got more Fairy Lore which is really nice. Now, what if the reason behind the lack of information about the Sacred Tree is because of Chaos. Nakaba doesn't want us to know anything about Chaos up until the very end because of 4kota, because he wants to keep Chaos a mystery.
In Chapter 140, Tioreh told us about these giant mushrooms that grow on top of the Sacred Tree's roots that are called "God Seats". The DK and SD are the only ones primarily dubbed as Gods. So that part is also interesting.
This is the Demon King's last words to Meliodas.
"You will regret this..."
In Cursed By Light, before Meliodas and Zeldris beat the Supreme Deity, she says that the only way to maintain balance in the world is by continuing the Holy War.
Before Chaos is established, this is just nonsense. But now that we know... I have a feeling that the DK and SD sealing away Chaos has more to it than what we know. Also, isn't it fun that two beings born to be in conflict with one another worked together to seal Chaos? Now, we don't get to know more because they're gone but the Sacred Tree is still around... so there's that.
I have a huge feeling that Nakaba will give us some juicy lore about the Sacred Tree in the future. Either that or I'm high on copium.

Its official: Adult Meliodas and Zeldris got some “Big Rizz energy”. Life is just so unfair, I mean, look at these images. How do you compete with these? If the boys father had this vibe (when young), I can definitely see why Jelly or Steph would fall for him. Dear god…

I picked up an old idea : What if the Demon brothers had a mother
- Her name is Jeliamis (to follow a similar naming logic as Meliodas and Zeldris)
- Her friends call her Jelly because she's short and her face looks squishy (the boys didn't get those from the DK for sure)
- Her closest friends are Galand and (original) Gowther. Their late night conversations often become late morning ones
- She has a playful and overall extroverted personality
- She's a fighter, a dual sword wielder to be precise
- A few years after bringing Zel to the world, she suffered an battle injury that made her unable to bear more children
- She mysteriously passed away not long after that
- The boys aren't allowed to talk about her but they keep a piece of her with them at all times

making an nnt "god" a concrete thing with lore / biology. substance if you will. because committing to the bit is fun and nakaba missed out
inspired that the idea that not only should Meliodas and Elizabeth have a less human form but Tristan too! I love the different takes on their designs.
chapters cause this is long! and control f is our friend
canon adjacent lore
children of the gods
awakened god designs
the gods' chosen helpers
extra pet theory because I love y'all and I love elizabeth angst
@kalopsiakey @7-ratsinatrenchcoat thank you for helping out with the brainstorming for the tristan and melizabeth 'eldritch forms'! Hope you like the finished product!!
- - - - canon adjacent lore anyone ? - - - - -
In my aus, I usually go with the interpretation that the SD and DK are the latest two in a line of governing deities, with the others dying to various means. And the SD and DK blotted them out from public memory to establish the maximum amount of control for themselves.
In order to govern their realms, I propose it was a long-standing practice that gods would retain only a percentage of their power, and lend out the rest to trusted ones who help them ensure the safety and health of their realm. There might be other groups that the Archangels and Ten Commandments are in charge of!
Theoretically, this would also allow them to retain a form suitable to walk among their people. None of this taller than a castle shtick. Perhaps the DK and SD are physically magnified with their power. Part of their appearance is morphed by their will - the DK's armor, and the veil across the Supreme Diety's face seem to be symbols of their power. They can also be representative of how the DK was seen as an invincible opponent, and how now one knew the SD's true intentions but thought she's "too holy to look upon and find fault in."
To a god, sacrificing and dividing up your power (especially) in a time of peace is symbolic of trust and humility. In war, it could be neccessary to maintain one's prestige and honor as a monarch., Could mean that you value the ability to live as one of your people as one of them rather than as someone they worship.
- - - - children of the gods - - - -
What's the difference between something like the Supreme Diety and her daughter? Biologically, nothing, I'd assume. In nnt, "god" seems to be a state of being, asserted not simply by having power but by coming into your own and claiming it as you.
I propose that the gods are a conduit for that portion of their realm's magic that would otherwise roam freely, and that the other life in that realm has already absorbed, at birth, the limit each individual can handle. Biologically, that is.
For a goddess or demon to maintain that state in Britannia without cracking holes in the fabric of reality, there'd need to be some way to both reign in that power and dilute it down to a level that's manageable for that individual. And there probably are ways. Let's see what happened to Mel. His 'original powers,' when he accepted them, were raw and undivided; additionally, he had no clue how to manage a power influx of that extent and his mind was NOT in a good place to try and manage an extra extreme stressor. And uh. He has priors with letting his demon powers run amock in a destructive manner. If there's also a psychological component to how your godly powers act, that's the first uh-oh. Second uh - oh: he'd maintained complete certainty that unlocking them would have that kind of disastrous consequences for 3,000 years. self-fulfilling prophecies are a thing. especially if you believe that a demon's powers, specifically, their darkness, is deeply involved with their subconscious. Being 'a god' doesn't seem to logically coincide with being helpless. I think the real reason the DK and SD were trapped in their "bubbles" in their respective realms is their refusal to set aside that power, and walk as a simple demon or goddess even temporarily. A lack of will (in the gods' place) or a lack of control (Mel), rather than a lack of possibility. It makes it more interesting, I think!
In that case, the natural disasters we saw after Mel stepped into that power would be a result of the vast amount of demon realm magic accompanying him running completely amock in the wrong realm, interfering with the other magics present and the balance.

I think Meliodas would want to keep his appearance mostly the same . . . just with more pizazz. Same with Zeldris, he seems to have it down pretty well already judging by his dramatic entrance in 4kota. If they're able to channel their powers well enough for this, I think they'd leave most 'monstrous' features toggled off while using this form except for their aura, and other associated demonic features such as wings, horns, and claws. They'd use the extra power boost to help their darkness roam with more versatility. Perhaps it'd form a tail behind them and coil about their horns and nearby loved ones like decorative, protective wreaths. It might lend a dragonlike flair to Meliodas, with several sets of horns about his face and dragonlike spines; and likewise, for Zeldris, some regal feathers and a simple, elegant floating crown - irremovable but loved - floating like a halo above his head.
I think Elizabeth would gain another pair of wings (if not more), and a dress of light in the same theme as Meliodas's assault mode outfit. She would have a magnificent crown of light, and she would hate it, she would complain that she didn't even wear a crown at her wedding, why does her magic think she'd want one? and she'd tear it off. every time. Maybe one day she'll accept it. Her brother-in-law tells her it's a symbol of how she'd given her heart, blood and breath to her realm, and to protecting the peace in Britannia, and that it's something she earned. But all she can see is this form is more grandiose than her mother's ever was, regardless of how much more like herself it looks than like some plain, no-faced worship-demanding statue. (That's how Meli describes her mother). Maybe one day! In the meantime, she released most of her original magic back to the Celestial Realm to assist in its revival. And covers up the crown with ribbons her husband sewed for her whenever she's prepping for a serious battle.
The special feature I came up with for what I'm calling Tristan's "awakened god form" is based on a biblical angel's wheels of eyes. That, except Twinkle stars, bright as a goddess's magic but as maneuverable as darkness, and they point in whichever direction he's focused on.
Wings would be feather-based, with darkness that weaves around them like the tounges of flames.
I think even the most high-level demons and goddesses would have less humanlike teeth in the back of their mouths accompanying their molars. Maybe just a little sharper, and much more durable. Maybe a second or third row of teeth that gets less prominent or even more retractable as it nears the lips. sharks come to mind. I'm jealous of their teeth. Why are ours so flimsy. Anyway. 7 rats proposed a demon / goddess child's noticably inhuman teeth might be like that of an anglerfish. Interesting idea.
Like. Uh- puts on a poetic narrator voice Like a wide smile, almost uncannily wide but almost like the way you walk with your feet pointed outward and not an emotion. And when he moves his mouth to speak or frown you can see little gleaming edges along his jaw like a set of jewels in a necklace. You're not sure what they are. Like spikes or horns but… from within. That ought to be decorative, you think, but you've thought the same about the demons’ sets of horns and their fangs and now that you think about it, the shapes surrounding the powered-up goddesses'… is they really magic or something supernatural beyond your mind’s comprehension. . . ?
As for the eyes - dark, demon-colored with swirling golden triskeles in the center. Since in normal form he already has the duality - and it makes sense considering how goddess and demon powers present themselves in their eyes - I think hiding the heterochromia in his eldritch form would make it more horrifying. Like, now we are stepping away from physics into what a “god” is in this universe. The darkness spills out of his eyes like the whisps of dry ice ofc!
- - - the gods' chosen helpers: examinating the the SD's blessings and the DK's curses - - - -
3/4 Archangels' Graces channel a certain element of nature: wind (Tornado), water (Ocean), light (Sunshine), with Ludociel's Flash being the odd one out. I propose this is because Ludociel has such a tainted mindset the only Grace that would take him is the one representing swift, determined action (because hehe). The Ten Commandments, unlike the Graces, have a further element of control - their double-edged nature - suggesting the DK isn't as thorough of a manipulatior (deadbeat hehe) as the SD and cannot rely on his command alone to gain 100% of the TC's focus. There's been clear tampering with the power it gives them, and less trust; they're artificial compared to the Graces, one of which was said to have chosen Escanor of its own free will. As for what they can do - they represent values that are considered virtues. Except for purity. what the hell does Derieri's purity do again? Not that she NEEDS that extra power, for the love of god the brute force trauma of this woman's second blow would probably cause permanent damage. Anyway, love forces those with hatred in their hearts to stand down from a fight (objectively not a bad thing), truth does the truth thing, etc.
These are not neccessarily combat-focused powers, though they are used and intended as such. It's not a stretch to say they could be utlized in a different manner in times of peace. The Demon Realm has probably countless small villages and intellegent species for the King to oversee and keep the peace between. It makes sense for him to have more vassals from that standpoint. Meanwile, the Celestial Realm from what we can tell has fallen into disrepair without the routine care of its people. I'm gonna go ahead and headcanon that the natural phenomenon here is at least as 'extreme' in human terms as the demon realm's, and that effectively managing a system of islands in the sky with probably dozens of intellegent migratory creatures like sky fish, etc. does take some supernatural effort. And that most of the goddess population here is centralized in one main area. Pretty much all nakaba has given us is an implied lack of diversity in the celestial realm (why everyone look like that except for Tarmiel) (it's fine we can make the creatures ourselves). Anyway. A not-double-edged-sword version of the Commandments and the current Graces could be repurposed to aid in civil relations (people), and enviornmental mangement (nature) respectively.
-- - - - - extra! pet theory as to why Elizabeth is an only child - - - -
I have a pet theory for my holy war au that Elizabeth wasn't made like a human child and is, rather, a genetic clone the SD shaped of herself (think shaping a living being out of clay) as well as just one in a succession of rebellious (and very dead) attempts at the perfect daughter. This is why there's only one of her, while Meliodas has a sibling, and why she's older than Meliodas. Until Elizabeth, there was no proof that what the SD and DK wanted could be managed without serious consequences. The SD learned that just having the one is important for the amount of control she wants over her daughter. She only has so much patience, and the sisters tended to back each other over her. Thank - well, herself - that they were so young. . . all those times. This is why the DK insisted on totally eliminating his children's emotions; he thinks so long as they don't care for one another, and don't even think to, he can manage as many as he wishes. Otherwise, he thinks the SD is a loon who failed like four times in succession, and refuses to acknowledge that he specifically waited for her to succeed, "learning" from her mistakes, before having his own children.
