His eyes widen, looking like a small galaxy underneath his purple and blue LED lights. His pink lips part slightly in an “o” shape, and his tongue and teeth show through slightly.

Jungkook took a long time to warm up to you. He scowled at you when you were introduced as Namjoon’s girlfriend. Like hell, you two are serious. Namjoon told you “It’s just an adjustment period.”. Jungkook just needed to get used to you being around. He always treated him gently even as he grew into adulthood. He’s not sure if it’s because he still sees him as a kid or because he sees him as someone special.

Tae and Jimin give each other a knowing look while eating their takeout. Tae chokes on his noodles as Jimin chuckles holding his chopsticks.

“What?” Jungkook crosses his arms and pouts as he questions them. He hates not being involved.

“Jealous much?” Jimin snorts as V throws his head forward, still holding the noodles in his mouth.

He furrows his brows, slamming his palms onto the table and shaking the silverware with his force. His ears turn red as he raises his voice reactionarily, “Of what?”

You give Jungkook a small wave, tiptoeing towards him in your silettos. You slowly approach him like a stray rabbit. Afraid that the moment you make a slightly harsh move, he’ll run away scared.

He turns his head around and narrows his bloodshot eyes. His hair is dishelved as his nose drips like a leaky faucet. His makeup runs down his face in streaks, h There you stand gorgeous in your evening dress. You look like a goddess, someone to worship and devote their lives to you; to have your praises sung from the heavens while mortals like Jungkook can only destroy themselves in envy.

“You are my everything. Where my happiness begins and ends. The world falls apart when I’m with you; leaving me with nothing except us and our future. I—I feel truly present within myself whenever I’m with you. I may not be a perfect man and we’ve had our fair amount of disagreement. Ah–I can see you nodding your head. That’s cute. He gets an earful that morning from Jin.

Jungkook doesn’t understand what he means by “jealous of”.

Still, despite his standoffish attitude, he warms up to you.

You have a loud laugh that rivals Jin’s in obnxiousity. You feed Bam and Yeontan whenever he and Tae are too busy. You always ask how everyone in the group is doing. Most of all, he sees how happy Namjoon is with you. His dimples permanently frame his face and his eyes resemble a crescent moon when he’s in your presence. He looks at you you’ve given him life itself; although, something still feels off.

“Oiiii, Jung-kookkieeeeee.”

He bursts out in a bunny smile as he sits up in bed.

“Yesssss, Noonaaaaaaa.”

“You want dinner?”

“Absolutely–Wait why do you ask?”

“Oh, Namjoon and I were just thinking about you. He said this dish is your favorite, so why not share.”

His heart beats a little faster than he would like at that statement. He giggles as his cheeks turn pink.

“Ok, you want me to bring anything?”

“Just yourself. You’re more than enough.”

He knows you mean that statement jokingly, but he can’t stop thinking about it on the way to Namjoon’s house.

When he arrives at the front door, you open it with Namjoon’s oversized hoodie and dark sweats on; wooden spoon covered in sauce in hand as you smile with a “Welcome!” it clicks.

Jungkook has never liked two people for this long. He’s had short-term crushes that have occasionally coincided with his long-term ones, yet they have never been so in sync as with his love for you and Namjoon.

Proposal: Dyna-Soar/Little Joe II Suborbital Flight Test Program

"The X-20 Dyna-Soar program is often remembered as one of the biggest lost opportunities in the history of manned space flight. Evolving from the WS-464L Program, Dyna-Soar had great potential for use as a military space platform as well as civilian science laboratory. Unlike the earlier Mercury, Gemini and Apollo capsules that were single-use vehicles returning to earth under a parachute system, the X-20 was a winged vehicle, capable of landing on select runways, then refur- bished and utilized again.

Initial flight testing of the Dyna-Soar had the vehicle dropped from a modified B-52C, 53-0399, carrier aircraft to test atmospheric handling qualities and landing techniques. The USAF selected Ed wards AFB, CA, and White Sands Missile Range, NM, due to their natural runway surfaces. (AFTC History Office)

The initial phase of the X-20 flight test program had the vehicle dropped from high altitudes from a B-52C mothership to test atmospheric aerodynamic handing of the vehicle, as well as develop landing techniques at Edwards AFB, CA. The second phase of testing involved sending the X-20 on unmanned and manned orbital spaceflight test mis- sions powered by a Titan III rocket booster which left a large gap in the standard progression of flight testing. The Convair Division of General Dynam- ics proposed making suborbital test flights using a Little Joe II booster.

The Little Joe II was a clustered, solid-propellant rocket booster designed as unguided and controllable versions. The vehicle could accommodate one to seven, 40-inch diameter, 100,000-lb thrust, Aerojet Algol 1D solid rocket mo- tors. With minor modifications the im proved launch vehicle (IPLV) could ac commodate the more advanced 44-inch diameter Algol IIA motors.

Little Joe II had the reputation as a reliable work- horse of the early manned space program, testing Mercury and Apollo escape and recovery systems from various launch locations. The Little Joe II booster was a versatile rocket with capabilities not found on many systems of the day and could be adapted and configured for several different flight profiles.

This detailed dimensional drawing shows some of the modifications required for the Little Joe il booster in order to carry the Dyna-Soar test vehicle. In addition to the upper adapter fairing, the booster required larger aerodynamic stabilizing fins to compensate for the larger payload. (Convair)

Convair proposed making test flights of the Dyna- Soar/Little Joe II combination on an overland range between Edwards AFB, CA and the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. Launching from Edwards AFB provided a lakebed in case of an aborted launch . and emergency landing. Range instrumentation was already in place at both sites, keeping the range support cost to a minimum.

The Dyna-Soar test vehicle would be mounted atop the Little Joe II booster with a two-part transition fairing, gloved over the X-20 to minimize drag and would be jettisoned prior to separation. This variation of the Little Joe II booster required movable aerodynamic fins, larger than those used on standard Little Joe II launches.

A Boeing/USAF X-20 Dyan-Soar is boosted skyward for a suborbital test flight from Edwards AFB, CA towards White Sands Missile Range, NM, aboard a Convair Little Joe II. The larger stabilizing fins and aerodynamic fair- ing around the Dyna-Soar are noteworthy. (Convair)

Utilizing a standard Little Joe II booster, the X-20 could be propelled to a maximum speed of 10,000 fps (approximately 6,800 mph) at an altitude near 170,000 feet. With the improved Little Joe II launch vehi- cle, those figures would rise to a speed of 15,000 fps (approximately 10,200 mph) and an altitude near 200,000 feet. The entire flight covered approximately 582 nautical miles, with the booster impacting the desert floor just over halfway through the flight. The Dyna-Soar test vehicle would experience considerable aerodynamic heating during the reentry phase with the final landing on the alkali flats of the White Sands Missile Range.

The Dyna-Soar suborbital program required a minimum of five test flights: two unmanned flights utilizing the existing automatic guidance, and three manned flights. Convair projected the total price of the five-flight test program at $12.2 million, considerably less than the projected $18 million per flight for a Titan III booster (figures are in FY 1965 dollars)."

Kiera currently attends university online for film studies. She’s aiming on becoming a writer and director - mainly within the horror realm. She is aware of this aspect of herself, and hates it, but isn’t sure on how to really get better; it sort of became more of a last resort form of acceptance, seeing that she harbors feelings of not being enough to make her mother finally break the addiction, or even get her father to stay - she now owns up to being the source of her own problems as opposed to fixing the root issue that lays deeper. She’s overly self-critical, especially if she loses or if she feels she could’ve done better. There's an air of competition to her in academics as well as in the workplace - she's always striving for good recognition in these fields. She loves to learn new things, and takes up skills rather easily; and if she thoroughly enjoys the topic (ex: horror films), than you can forget it - she'll cream everyone at trivia. She loves to thrift, and always goes out of her way to support small businesses. Kiera is also very cynical with her outlook on the world, though her activism is borderline anarchist because she's just fed up with everyone and everything. Wise beyond her years, she is known to be quite pretentious in her tastes of music, movies and books, and can rant about all three for hours. Also very smart, in general? Graduated with high honors and has street smarts. Though, she does tend to be sarcastic towards others but she utilizes the excuse of being brutally honest to avoid being labelled mean. Kiera is super open-minded and prides herself in being a safe space. Even though she tends to escape into the night life, and has been sneaking into joints since she was 14 to party, she does have boundaries; she won't try any hard drugs, and knows her limits in alcohol. Even if she seems completely gone, she's not - she can't let herself get that way out of fear of a loss of control. Kiera can be sweet to those who she deems as good people in her life, but she's a type of black hole that kinda brings chaos wherever she goes. She's prone to huge mood shifts, and is known to be fierce for her small and young stature. Will 20/10 ruin good thing if she gets her hands on it. She’s just trying her best, okay? Life is unpredictable and messy, and she’s becoming more aware with that everyday. That’s all without mentioning her need to create battling her need to destroy.

Meet Qualcomm's Newest Chip, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3

While most flagship-tier smartphones today run on Qualcomm's ultra-powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the company recently announced the arrival of a somewhat similarly-powerful chipset, albeit meant for upper-midrange smartphones, also known as "flagship killer" devices - enter the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which packs a lot of the same features as its "regular" 8 Gen 3 sibling, while cutting down on costs. Chris Patrick, Senior Vice president and General Manager of Mobile Handsets at Qualcomm states: “With capabilities including on-device generative AI and advanced photography features, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is designed to enhance user experiences, fostering creativity and productivity in their daily lives... We’re elated to introduce the latest addition to our premium Snapdragon 8-series, our most premium mobile offering, bringing a host of exceptional specially selected capabilities to more consumers.” Designed on a on a 4 nm process with a 1+4+3 core configuration, Qualcomm says that the 8s Gen 3 is capable of supporting premium-tier features such as on-device generative AI features, an always-sensing ISP, hyper-realistic mobile gaming, breakthrough connectivity, as well as lossless high-definition sound. The new SoC also supports a broad array of AI models including popular large language models (LLM) such as Baichuan-7B, Llama 2, Gemini Nano and Zhipu ChatGLM. Given that generative AI has been a major focus for most OEMs in the past couple of years, it's not exactly surprising to see Qualcomm bring such features to a slightly lower-tier chip, although it's a much-welcome add-on and does slow down device obsoletion. As far as hardware is concerned, the new chip consists of a Prime ARM Cortex X4 which is clocked at 3.0 GHz, and works in tandem with four Performance cores at 2.8 GHz, as well as three Efficiency cores at 2.0 GHz. The debut of the 8s Gen 3 follows the unveiling of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which was announced back in October during Qualcomm's Snapdragon Summit. With that being said, we can expect to see the 8s Gen 3 in action in upcoming devices from several partner manufacturers including Honor, iQOO, realme, Redmi and Xiaomi; Qualcomm notes that the first device running the 8s Gen 3 will be announced this March. Cancelled Missions: Gemini Saturn V

"American manned lunar orbiter. In l LP late 1964 McDonnell, in addition to a Saturn IB-boosted circumlunar Gemini, McDonnell proposed a lunar-orbit version of Gemini to comprehensively scout the Apollo landing zones prior to the first Apollo missions.

Status: Design 1964. Gross mass: 11,182 kg (24,652 lb).

The lunar orbit version required an Agena stage to provide the delta-V for lunar orbit insertion and trans earth injection. The 1.52 m-diameter Agena was enclosed in an inverted conical fairing to both transmit thrust loads to the Gemini and provide thermal protection during the coast to the moon.

Alternatively, a propulsion module based on a repackaged Apollo Service Module propulsion system, as had been proposed two years earlier for a lunar-landing version of Gemini, could be used. This raised the translunar injection mass of the spacecraft to 11,182 kg, well above the capability of a Saturn IB or Titan III-C, but only a quarter that of a Saturn V. The launch vehicle was unspecified, but could only have been a Saturn V used on an early test mission. The mission profile would have involved a 68 hour flight from low earth orbit to lunar orbit, a 24 hour lunar mapping mission in a 10 nm x 80 nm lunar orbit, and a 68 hour return flight. The scientific equipment would consist of a modest camera array installed in the nose of the spacecraft. This consisted of a long focal-length telescope, to which were attached two narrow-field stereo mapping cameras, a wide field mapping camera, a panoramic camera, and two 16 mm film cameras. The film was not accessible by the astronauts, being stored in a film vault shielded against radiation in the nose of the spacecraft. The camera compartment would protrude from the stub nose of the Gemini after parachute deployment.

The manned portion was the same as the circumlunar version, a modified earth-orbit Gemini. The aft modules would be retained, but with the retrorockets removed. The retro module space would be used to install Apollo-type lunar distance communications, navigation, and test equipment. Deployable DSIF omni-directional and parabolic antennae would deploy from the aft modules to support lunar-distance communications. To handle re-entry from lunar distances, several modifications were necessary. The capsule's heat shield would be beefed up, and the Rene 41 corrugated shingles of Gemini's skin would be replaced with ablative shingles. The load of attitude control propellant for the capsule's reaction control system was substantially increased. Additional strap-down gyros and solar sensor packages would be added to provide navigation system redundancy. The ejection seats would be deleted and a Mercury-style launch escape tower added. The then-planned Rogallo wing recovery system would be used to glide to the Gemini to a runway landing on US territory after return from the moon. To handle the scientific payload, a camera compartment was added to the nose below the parachute/Rogallo wing housing. The Gemini spacecraft modified in this way had on on-orbit mass of 3955 kg as compared to the 3207 kg of the earth-orbit version.

Presentado en Brasil en Abril de 1982, en carrocería liftback 3 puertas, y desarrollado sobre el diseño del Opel Ascona de tercera generación (1981), el Chevrolet Monza se convertirá a poco tiempo de su estreno en uno de los modelos más vendidos en su tierra natal.

Gran parte de su éxito lo debe a las carrocerías sedán, 2 y 4 puertas, estrenadas en 1983, mismo año en que recibe por primera vez el reconocimiento a "Auto del Año" por la revista Autoesporte, para en 1984 transformarse en el número uno en ventas, lugar que igualmente alcanzar�� los años 1985 y 1986.

En Chile el modelo ingresa en versión 3 puertas en 1983, asociado a un motor 1.6L de 75 CV. En diciembre de 1986 se importa la primera unidad sedán, utilizado como modelo de estudio, para finalmente iniciar la venta en enero de 1987, cerrando el año con “332” unidades sedán 4 puertas y “36” de 2 puertas, compartiendo dentro de la oferta local de la marca con los sedanes Chevette, Gemini, Aska y Opala.

En abril de 1988 ingresa a Chile el Monza motor 2.0L, ofrecido asociado a transmisiones manual 5v y automática 3v, esta última dotada de llantas de aleación distintivas. Motor 8v 2.0L (1.998 cc) de 99 CV a 5.600 rpm, torque de 159 Nm a 3.500 rpm, carburador doble cuerpo, tracción delantera.
