i don't to improve my "self love" and "value". i want to improve on *who i am*, and how i treat people. i want to be more mature. i want to be a kind person. so that when the people around me won't be so disgusted when i show them my true self— i don't think i want to ever again. i don't want to love myself, i am far already a bad person myself and some specific people know it. it's hard to do such thing when you've already been seen as someone so different by your former friends, right?

Pasta sauce basics!!! Make your own pasta sauce!!

A creamy sauce can be made by boiling dairy products! A mixture of milk, cream, cheese, and butter is used to create alfredo-type sauce. Half and half also works. Sometimes it will curdle if you use an acidic ingredient. This is ok, if the sauce is thick it tastes cohesive anyway. It is important to stir while boiling.

Finely minced herbs or veggies can create a fun chunky sauce! Use something to hold it together or it'll fall off the pasta. These fresh ingredients also pack a huge punch in terms of flavor and can easily elevate a dish.

Egg yolk can smoothen a sauce and balance the flavor. It is important to stir and keep it evenly mixed throughout boiling. Be careful separating the egg, whites will become grainy when cooked. Sometimes the yolk will turn into thin strands. This is OK, it melts in your mouth.

Cool trick: fresh veggies will absorb flavors and hold them. You can use this to add even more unevenness to the sauce.

Flour and cornstarch can also be used to thicken a sauce. Be careful with cornstarch, if used improperly it can ruin a sauce. It needs to be very evenly mixed before heating.

You can also use finely chopped or pureed nuts in pasta sauce. I love the flavor.

Fact: you can put pretty much ANYTHING in sauce. Experiment to make the coolest sauce.

And if you added too much water it's usually ok. The sauce will thicken if you boil it down.

i don't know any just nm fics off the top of my head, but moony's fic has all the bad sanses and it's delightful!!

im tempted to shamelessly plug my bad sans fic here too but it hasn't gotten to nm yet 😌 he's in the next chapter hehe

25. Did you create any characters (in games, art, writing) this year? thank you for the ask <3 and i did! ovo i started playing No Man's Sky and created a character in the game who i've also drawn a little bit and worked on his story and personality.

His name is Rhett and he's of the alien species "Gek" that are available to play in-game. He is very extrovert and likes small-talking with all sorts of people. Due to his joyful personality and easy-to-approach demeanor he's able to make friends fast and are generally liked by most. He is, however, sometimes a little bit 'too enthusiastic' which make some people think of him as being 'cringe' or 'trying too hard', even if he is being genuine. He does also look like a silly, potato-shaped pug, so most people misjudge him as being stupid or just talk to him out of pity/obligation.

He studies language and culture and were hired for expeditions to foreign planets to gather knowledge where he usually translates written and spoken language. At this job he met another Gek named Quell (my partner's OC), who he later got into a relationship with and they're now husband and wife (or the Gek equivalent of that).

At some point early in their married life, Quell gets abducted by another alien species and Rhett spends years on tracking them down. Using his cultural knowledge, communication skills and knack for talking to strangers (and other people often underestimating him) he makes his way through many star systems, looking for Quell. He even starts getting friendly with Outlaw societies, pirates and gangs in order to gain better intel, learn new useful skills and sniff out any kind of info that'll get him closer to his goal.

During this time he becomes a revered/feared Outlaw gang member himself (known as "The Lorekeeper"). While he does become emotionally hardened and loses a bit of his pure, starry-eyed old self, he never loses his determination, caring personality and enjoyment of learning - and most importantly his love for Quell.

Eventually he does find Quell and manage to free her. Quell has, obviously, also changed both physically and mentally while in captivity, and they're currently learning how to be together again after all these years of being apart and drastically changing during this time.

Unfortunately I've only had the time to draw these two anatomy practicing drawings. But I'm looking forward to both draw him, play him and develop his story even more! :>
