SOOO...Let's Make a raid Boss

Hey, jarper here. I'm back

So, I was bored and wanted to work on a new OC, and this might be a fun post to explain how I work on some oc. The process is pretty straightforward and more on trying to get things like coloring right and making sure the themes are a good idea with the oc. Plus, the biggest part is if they fit into the role I gave them.

OK, so who is this guy? Quick summary, Nilox is a powerful High Priest among hellhounds, with exceptional skills in demonic magic and weaponry. He is a giant-maned dire kitsune with 12 tails and antlers and can bend reality within 10 meters. He enjoys learning about people. Hes fun at parties. 

But let's get to the first part, when designing some of my ocs, I like to draw a headshot. Manly to make sure of the colors and themes. Also, due to some things like commissions and ArtFight, the most important part. 

So, this is where I get ideas some art, Pinterest, google, and my favorite and the most Coolors. Coolors it is really handy for the starting color pallet. 

So, the idea Is a hell present, I took some ideas from my other hellhounds. also Mixed some satanic and catholic elements into the design. For example, the collars are inspired by catholic priests. and the color pallet was a mix between priest clothes and silver foxes.

With some work, the headshot is done, but it's just the beginning, next I normally do the first fullbody, this is where I basically dubbel down on the themes and color palette as well as the bread or spices. Sometimes, I just dash the old idea if it doesn't work with the headshot or color themes.

 Also, I work on the anthro, version as well. 

Ok, the fun begins

Let me answer a question: Why is he so big? One answer 

But for real, Big oc are fun to draw, and The idea was:

A. to fit his role with the House of Judgment 

B. What if hes a raid boss idea.

So... what next, namely with the description. This took me a few days, mainly brainstorming and getting ideas. Gramerly is a big help with this. 

Here's what I got 

Among the esteemed cohort of hellhounds, Nilox, the High Priest, is held in high regard and occupies a high-ranking role as a leader within the House of Judgment. He's excellent with demonic spells and knows and forged a small arsenal of weapons, making him a powerhouse among his peers. He carries his book that has the essence of souls that he uses to amplify his power if needed. Besides hes role, he sometimes works with The War Cult and House of Witches when needed.

His power to some is horrifying, with the ability to mind control and possessed even some titans and celestials whit psionic attacks. As well as reading the sins of a mortal and forcing them to remember them all at once.

also, his fire magic ( not as good as Jack The Demon King or Kalama: the fire bearer) is much more powerful than most celestials. He can burn the souls of mortals that he deems deserving. If that doesn't work, he uses his weapons or forged artifacts.

 He's more curious about some things that he doesn't know about. He enjoys learning about people and what makes them tick. Some people (if they are not lucky) might be somewhat tortured if he feels like it.

Besides that, he enjoys leasing to stories that people have.

 Nilox is a giant maned dire kitsune, his fur has diffident shades of gray and white. he also has a set of antlers. around 98 feet tall. Bing a kitsune, he has 12 tails. He will grab and pick up people with them. Even though he can crash people with them, he prefers not to. also, he can set things on fire that his tails are holding or warped around. Also, his psionic abilities can be stronger than those that his tails make contact with. 

Also, in a 10-meter radius, he can bend reality, but not as intense as gods like Asher, Toria, or Megara. But, it's more apparent if the person has a sin that he knows about. 

After that, I send this to a few friends to get their idea and put it in his toyhouse. 

That's about it. keep in mind I'm looking to see some feedback so I keep it in mind for the next oc I work on.

Buddy Daddies Episode 9 "No Sweet Without Sweat"

~*~Warning: Spoilers for Buddy Daddies Episode 9 under the cut~*~

Overall this was a very cute episode with almost no angst, which means next week is going to be painful. We're entering the final arc of the season here, and things are going to ramp up.

The first thing I noticed about this episode was the background music during the scene where Kazuki, Rei, and Miri were asking Kyutaro to come to the field day. The music playing in the background was typical classic-esque music that would play in a cafe, but what caught my attention was that it was played in a minor key. (Don't ask me which key, I don't have perfect pitch.) Minor keys are often used in music to signal ominous things. If I have my music theory straight, D-minor is considered the saddest key. It'd be interesting to know exactly which key this piece was played in.

Another thing that caught my eye was the way the shot zoomed in on Kyutaro's face when his eyes narrowed, and then the immediate cut to the opening song. This does not bode well, and combined with the musical implications I am starting to get an inkling that Kyutaro will betray our protagonists.

Rei going overkill to secure a spot was hilarious and also very touching. He went out in the middle of the night to secure the best spot to watch Miri. However, the barbed wire monstrosity was a bit much. Plus the way he just easily vaulted over the brick wall? He missed his calling as an Olympic gymnast smh.

Also Kazuki's camera setup kills me. I grew up with a dad who loves to take pictures and has all the snazzy cameras, but even he never used three at once. Look at that telescoping lens on the middle one! Kazuki is prepared.

The discord helped me identify the brand that the cameras spoof off of. If you look at the marking on the camera, you'll see that it says "Milox", which is a spoof of Nilox. Here's a screencap so you can see it clearly.

I think somebody needs to tell Kazuki that this is not what people usually mean by "fun fact".

Absolutely dying at the fact that the daycare mamas still believe the whole "oil baron and washed-up comedian" story. 😂 What kind of fanfiction-type bullshit has Kazuki been coming up with?

Miss Anna is the MVP of tug-of-war. We stan a queen.

Poor Taiga has managed to make enemies for life out of both Rei and Kazuki. That child isn't going to make it to elementary school.

What really got me about this episode was that the leitmotif I've nicknamed "Miri's Family" started playing the minute Rei unfolded the scavenger hunt card that says "family", and it doesn't stop playing until the field day is officially over. I think that's the longest we've heard it play! I'm almost in tears bc Rei and Kazuki have realized that Miri thinks of them as a family. A big moment for the both of them, and the leitmotif makes it all even more touching.

But the post-credit scene. Ah fuck. It's October now, and Kyutaro has yet to either give the organization information or tell Rei and Kazuki. So his decision so far is not to decide? It looks like the organization is starting to get antsy and press for information. Kyutaro better abide by what he told Rei and Kazuki in episode 5:

One final note: It's absolutely hysterical how wrong my predictions were for this episode:

The daycare mamas' group chat pops up again, probably speculating on Rei and Kazuki's relationship history or how they got Miri

Rei and Kazuki get way over-invested bc they don't understand the idea of "friendly competition". (Almost a given, especially after that promo video 😂)

Kyutaro will show up at least once, likely in the post-credit scene

the post-credit scene will be the the only part of the episode that addresses the request for information.

We will get a hilariously over-the-top training montage where Kazuki and Rei coach Miri. I'm talking like on the order of the dodgeball episode of spy x family where the kiddos were climbing a jungle gym but it looked like mountain climbing 😂

we get at least one new important musical theme, or one becomes important that wasn't earlier.

I'm at 2 for 6 with my predictions.🤣 Maybe I'd better stick to the musical analysis...

Nilox Project - o que é

O Projeto Nilox é uma iniciativa minha para acabar com a seca no deserto do Saara. Faz parte da minha busca incessante para tornar o planeta Terra um lugar melhor para se viver.

É sem dúvida um projeto de proporções imensas e desafiadoras, mas tecnicamente possível. Seu custo e complexidade me impulsionam ainda mais no sentido de encarar tal desfio, sobretudo pelo impacto positivo significativo no ambiente natural e nas comunidades locais.

Vou descrever a abordagem que eu e meus cientistas estamos adotando para esse projeto. Estou aberto também a ouvir comentários e sugestões e opiniões de todos que queiram se engajar em fazer a diferença no mundo e contribuir para uma iniciativa dessa magnitude.

Estudos e planejamento: O projeto começará com uma análise detalhada das condições hidrológicas, climáticas, geológicas e ambientais da região, bem como do fluxo do rio Nilo. Serão necessários estudos para avaliar o impacto potencial da transposição nos ecossistemas locais, no abastecimento de água e nas comunidades afetadas.

Captação de água: O primeiro passo será construir barragens e reservatórios ao longo do rio Nilo para coletar e armazenar grandes volumes de água. Essa água será utilizada para suprir a demanda do deserto do Saara.

Canais de distribuição: Será necessário construir uma extensa rede de canais e dutos para transportar a água captada ao longo do rio Nilo até as áreas do deserto do Saara que serão beneficiadas. Esses canais deverão atravessar diferentes tipos de terrenos, incluindo áreas montanhosas, o que poderá envolver a escavação de túneis e a construção de sistemas de bombeamento para superar as diferenças de altitude.

Infraestrutura complementar: Além dos canais de distribuição, será necessário desenvolver uma infraestrutura adicional para garantir o sucesso do projeto, dando sentido a ele. Isso incluirá estações de tratamento de água, sistemas de irrigação eficientes, estruturas de armazenamento e monitoramento do uso da água.

Como resultados esperados destacamos o impacto ambiental e social. A transposição do rio Nilo terá impactos significativos no ecossistema local, na vida selvagem e nas comunidades humanas afetadas. A respeito de financiamento, apesar de muitos virem me dizer que um projeto dessa magnitude exigirá recursos financeiros consideráveis, incluindo cooperação internacional, por hora, estou preferindo desenvolver todo o projeto com capital próprio. Caso seja necessário, disponibilizarei uma chave PIX para receber contribuições de forma a garantir o financiamento adequado para manter os recursos de experiência técnica e a supervisão necessária para a execução do projeto.

Não quero me envolver com polêmicas, penso apenas em viver o restante dos meus dias contribuindo para que o mundo se torna um lugar melhor.
