Kinda conflicted about pronouns and wondered about your opinion on it bc I like your opinions. Basically I use sex based pronouns for everybody mainly because most trans people don't pass and that's the pronoun that comes naturally to mind (if I'm trying to be polite I will avoid pronouns entirely or occasionally use they, but it takes a lot of effort to slow your language down no matter what anyone claims! and I cannot call a nonpassing MTF she on principle.) in other words I make little to no conscious effort about pronouns, and take what my brain hands me based on their appearance.
But I notice that for (truly) passing trans people I would be fighting against this natural perception to sex them correctly, like N*kki Tutorials reads as a she for example so I just don't fight it and I call her "she" even though I technically know she's male and if anyone asked me her sex I would say male. To me she's a "male woman" even though that's paradoxical. 🤔 This level of passing is pretty rare though (like H*nter Scafer and whichever one was in Barbie don't even fit this criteria for me.) What do you do? Do you think it's important to make the effort to still use sex based pronouns for truly passing MTF to hold the line against the whole concept of changing sex?
Yeah, I understand the hesitation in calling men who convincingly pass as female “he.” It feels forced. That said, I still do it lmao. It’s like you said, it’s a principle thing. I don’t believe men who pass as women are women. I won’t call a man “she,” even if he’s lucky enough to have delicate features. Wrt nikkitutorials, I didn’t know he was trans until it was revealed (and I side eye anyone who was like “duh, look at him 🙄” he’s just tall) so it’s weird to call him he. But if I think like, “this person is male,” it’s easier. Male doesn’t mean masculine, it just means male. Nikkitutorials is male. Nikkitutorials is a he. Buck angel is a she. These are facts, not subjective interpretation.

if luke put you in charge of choosing the color glitter he wears at his next show what would you pick?
ooh well anon you see i am of course extremely partial to the pink shimmer, especially since he always wears a pink outfit with it like… 🙂‍↕️
Tumblr media
i also think purply tones really suit him so i’d do that too
Tumblr media
but also i really enjoyed when nikkitutorials gave him the bronzy orangey shades and the gold from the milky shoot because i have always thought about how much a bronze would make his eyes pop 🤩 and it did!

Watching all the drama go down with Colleen makes me so happy I never idolized her when I was younger (honestly always found her Miranda Sings act really weird)
We were solely a nikkitutorials and markiplier stan (those were literally the only two I watched and still do 😭). Oh and Liza Koshy when she used to actually post

my 2025 Predictions:
Nickelodeon will file for bankruptcy, the headquarters will be replaced with Spirit Halloweens once they close down and the rights for SpongeBob will immediately be bought by Elon Musk.
Britney Manson and Tara Yummy will enter a Twitter Feud.
Gigi Gorgeous will get into a DUI and trans girls will make her mugshot into edits and profile pictures.
Ruby Gloom will make a comeback.
SBN3 will collab with Hot Topic to launch a Class Of 09 collection, that'll end up being so overpriced it'll be discontinued after 10 days due to complaints from fans of the franchise.
Ashley Tisdale will make a charity to save a monkey species, only to have that same charity become a meme on Twitter.
NikkiTutorials will launch a Nimya Beauty collection with Kim Petras in order to promote her new album.
James Charles will complain publicly about cancel culture in a very "anti-woke" kinda way.
A live action movie of Mouthwashing will be announced on Twitter only for it to get The FNAF Movie treatment.
Jenna Ortega will launch her own perfume and many people will complain about the strong T0bacco note in it.
Katy Perry and Taylor Swift will make a song about friendship together as if anyone still cares about the beef they had in like 2014.
Joe Rogan will make an episode in his podcast about furries, which will cause a self proclaimed right wing furry to try to convince him that furries aren't that bad, this alone will cause twitter to have a field day but it only gets weirder once fanart rolls in.
Euphoria Season 3 will be a massive flop that will ultimately end the series for good.
Ron DeSantis will go into a whole ass twitter fit about Lizzie McGuire.
Dolly Parton will collab with Ethel Cain.
Nicki Minaj will Make her own comic book.
Megan Thee Stallion will make her own anime.
Ice Spire will announce her departure from music.
Hello Kitty will collab with Monster High and Bratz, which will cause a massive fight and a lot of love triangle trope memes.
A mini laptop with a similar shape to a Sidekick phone will be in the works by a small tech company/would be launched in the middle of this year.
A Gloomy Bear feature phone will be made and start trending like that Hello Kitty Taiml phone.
The Snape Wives will make a comback but most likely in a dufferent form(I.E. Different character, different franchise and different people.)
Ethel Cains new album will SHATTER The 4th Album Curse.
Cupcakke will collab with the real Jiafei girlie.
Nikita Dragun will quit social media.
Addison Rae will collab with Arca.
The D'amelio Sisters will make a comeback as 2014 tumblr icon inspired fashion personalities.
People will actually make many aesthetic mosts about 2019 and early 2020, marking that time period as "The Death Of Cringe Culture."
There will either be a snake epidemic or a snake shortage.
Barbie SGI movies will return.
A Winx fanseries catered to teens and young adults that is actually good will be released.
Chobits will make a major comeback.

Domo will make a comeback.
Ma*rs will make an originals collection with alot of their old iconic pieces.
Dylan Mulvaney will do Gyaru.

Oh, wow...Lexi's discovered Drag!
So, disclaimer. I'd heard that drag was a thing before, but it wasn't until the last few years that I actually decided to look into it. I've seen some really cool examples of drag through queer photography that I enjoyed, and kept seeing a few...key mentions. While all of these current examples are about Queens, I support and would love to see more Kings too.
I don't know how exactly I started to find drag, but it was almost certainly through the YouTube algorithm's combination of sewing tutorials and diys, alternative or lgbtq tiktoks, and doll diys/ooaks. I found a very interesting thumbnail. Sims. And a purple...or maybe blue...diva-licious alien.
When I first found Juno Birch, I was mostly curious and a little bit baffled as to how she could achieve such a look, and I was completely taken in by her humor, loudness, and creativity. She was the first drag queen I ever found on my own. From what I did know at that point, Queens were usually men, but didn't have to be, and Kings were less explored even in our own communities. I was surprised to learn Juno Birch was a trans woman, but also pretty excited. I used to love NikkiTutorials and she was my first real exposure to transgender women. The only other drag queen I've found who is not a man (OR a woman, in this case) to start, is someone I found VERY recently: Queen Coke Francis.
(Also: I recommend all three channels! they're all cool. ps. I mentioned their genders because it's not the norm I've seen online so far, regardless of historical records, and each of them are out on their own platforms.)
I didn't begin to explore further until I kept seeing the name "RuPaul's Drag Race" pop up. That was in the last few months, and finding a fashionable, funny, insightful Queen pop up on my feed again is what finally pushed me to start.
And by the graces of every queen and gay ancestor that came before me, I don't regret it. Even if fans of the show have some (probably accurate) criticisms of the show, I have to agree that the concept is what sells it regardless. The creativity, the jokes and references I am admittedly too young to understand but would probably like to look into one day, the personas and the challenges. The looks! The lip syncs. It's just interesting to see the way it all comes together.
I have been to a drag show once before, in my town, at a small venue, with local artists, and not only was it a new experience, but it was also a very entertaining one. I'm super glad I decided to because not only are things a bit...tense...in my state's current political climate in regard to all things lgbtq, but I'd been wanting a real and tangible connection to the local community. While I haven't been to another one since, I will definitely be trying to stay involved in the future.
Ok, why is this ramble relevant. It's probably not but I can do what I want on my blog and it just seemed like a good place to start. I may or may not talk about the seasons, my favorite challenges, or my favorite looks in the future. For now, I'm just having fun with it.

for coll edge (dont dunk on me its for a scholarship)
I think it's INCREDIBLY difficult for transgender students to afford college. One, some people can't even afford college and transitioning simultaneously. Two, some people can't afford to transition alone. And three, some people can't afford college at all. Estimates of transitioning costs (FTM and MTF) are exorbitantly high, ranging from 25k to over 100k. Some people can't even afford to pay for their water and electricity- looking at you, people from Los Angeles- let alone financially taxing medical procedures. Let's be fair, though. ALL medical procedures are financially taxing because the American healthcare system SUCKS and would charge you for the amount of air you breathe per minute if they could. This brings us back to our point- a lot of the time, people have to choose between financial stability and happiness, and most people choose financial stability (which is valid, considering you can't be happy if you've starved to death).
What makes approaching college difficult for transgender students is. Well. Literally everything? Socially, it's always like traversing a minefield, regardless of whether you're visibly gender-nonconforming or stealth. If you're visibly GNC, you might be an easy target for unsavory experiences. If you're stealth, you might get accused of hiding important information. (Remember how NikkiTutorials was essentially outed, and people were enraged because she'd been 'hiding' it?)
If you live on-campus, you've got to worry about dorms: about whether you need to room with your sex assigned at birth or the one you identify with, about whether your roommates will be uncomfortable with you, about whether you'll be safe. I understand there's gender-inclusive housing in plenty of colleges now, but not nearly enough. There's also the issue of sports, and if you can play on the team you want. Do you remember how some coaches were performing checks on the genitalia of female athletes? Jesus.
Finally, there's also mental health to worry about. Statistically, transgender individuals face enormous mental health disparities relative to their peers. Combining poor mental health with the burden of schoolwork (Especially for students pursuing degrees in STEM- godspeed to those guys. You're stronger than me.) tends to dissuade students from attending institutes of higher education at all.

commented on this tiktok about how people feel entitled to knowing people’s sexuality. this person worded it perfectly with this being called “the youtuber coming out effect.” i made a comment about how people shouldn’t force people out of the closet and specifically called out whoever forced nikkitutorials to come out. someone responds with “she wasn’t forced out because of entitled fans. she was forced out from blackmail.”
first of all, thanks for splitting hairs with me in this. second, that’s still being forced out. it doesn’t matter if she wasn’t forced out by entitled fans. she was still forced to come out to everyone because someone threatened to make her gender identity public.
is it the same thing as being forced out due to entitled fans? no. but if she hadn’t said anything and the blackmailer went on and disclosed it, fans would then become entitled to know her full medical history because of it. it would’ve been a lot worse if she hadn’t come out before they could leak it. because cis people feel entitled to know what you have in your pants upon learning you’re not cis.
maybe focus less on why someone is forced out and more on the fact people are being forced out to begin with
