this is probably not news but I guess just in case new/returning folks find me lol

the depression/adhd/etc? demons have been Really rearing their ugly heads lately, probably due to the season, probably also due to Life Factors, so i have like... no brainpower to focus on writing 💀

hopefully as both weather and some life things (fingers crossed) change i'll get back to writing !! i have this and another blog i owe on, and the urge to rp is never truly sated so...i Will be back it just might be a hot minute 😔

🥃 [MATE] What does your OC look for in a friend? What do they find is a turn-off?

Someone who is willing to look past the fact that Lilip is (as of yet) a mostly unknown species. Considering her Vorta fragmented genetic coding was revitalized before the Federation knew what Vorta were, not even she knows what she is until much later in her career. So for her, someone who doesn’t bombard them with questions they can’t answer, and sees them not as something to study, not an anomaly, but as a friend, it’s an instant win in her book.

🍧 [SHAVED ICE] What's your OC's favourite flavour of edible thing (e.g., strawberry)?

Can’t go wrong with a good ol fashioned chocolate flavor. Lilip definitely shares Deanna Troi’s affinity for chocolate anything. I’m willing to bet that such flavor is how they met! Consider it in Ten Forward, when Lilip saw Troi eating a chocolate something and asked what it was so that they could try it too!

🌫️ how does this character feel about lying?

She is extremely not good at lying, so Lilip does their best not to. It’s to the point that they feel a genuine strain in their chest if she tells a lie, so it’s pretty obvious to onlookers when they see her clearly uncomfortable when responding to someone. They don’t talk to that many people that much anyway, and most conversations involve her exobiology work, so there really is no reason for them to conjure up a lie.

🦇 biggest material fear (ie heights, bugs etc)

Lilip hates doctor visits. Hates sick bay. Hates the feeling and taste of medicine. They have a very low pain tolerance, so even small injections feel like death good lord. There are definitely moments where Lilip warns Dr. Crusher that although they appreciate and respect her, they will start biting if she forces them to sick bay. Empty threat andy over here.
