dared to date — muse a is dared by their friends to take muse b to homecoming or prom. 

It wasn’t necessarily that Emma hadn’t wanted to ask Miss Gilman to the homecoming dance now that their third year of high school was nearing its end. On the contrary, she was tickled at the idea of being able to experience Junior Prom for the first time without having to sneak in illegally or being the plus one of an older student–she often felt like a baby sister that way.

No, it wasn’t that she hadn’t wanted to ask. It was just… the two girls never really had clicked before. Emma got along with just about everyone she met just fine– that wasn’t the issue. But when it came down to getting to know Fiona Gilman and actually sitting down in her company with her friends it pushed the Gardening Club Founder and Student Council Vice President a bit past her comfort zone. She was actually glad that her friends gave her that dare during free period just in case things went horrifically south. Teens loved to gossip after all and surely neither of them needed to be embarrassed in front of their friends.

The question was where would Fiona be spending her free period? Most students would be eating their lunch either inside or outside somewhere, but Fiona struck her as more of a free spirit. The likelihood of her being among the crowd was low… she’d start her search there though.

I have to say c!bbh confuses me a bit, he knows about the torture in the prison and he's sympathizing (to a certain degree) with c!dream and you could definitely say that working in the prison left him traumatized, but while talking to c!pk he calls c!quackity his friend and 'a little bit of a crime lord'. No mention of the things that he witnessed. Even though c!bbh warns c!pk about everything and everyone else?

i mean! there’s no guarantee that c!bad knows it was specifically c!quackity that was going in and torturing c!dream. as far as we know, c!bad only ever saw the aftermath of the torture, not the torture itself — he heard the torture, sure, but there’s no canon confirmation he knows it’s c!quackity torturing c!dream.

there’s no real reason for him to suspect c!quackity either, unless he saw c!q ever entering/leaving the prison or bloody. all c!bad really knows is that c!dream was being tortured BAD in that prison, c!sam had something to do with it (though c!sam never admits this and actively gaslights c!bad into thinking otherwise), and that it was bad enough to traumatise him and make him feel eternally guilty. c!quackity ,, has no reason more than others to torture c!dream, because c!bad doesn’t know about his deal with c!schlatt — in c!bad’s eyes, there’s no REASON for c!Quackity to be the torturer, you know? ALSO, in his eyes, c!quackity is a pretty Alright Guy. sure, he’s a “bit of a crimelord”, c!bad isn’t saying he’s PERFECT, but he stopped the red banquet, he tried to save c!bad from the egg several times, he’s someone c!bad is close to.

from c!bad’s perspective, c!quackity is someone he’s friends with that has helped him several times and has no real reason to torture c!dream. unless he’s given concrete proof, i doubt he’ll even really let himself entertain the idea of his friend being responsible for the suffering of another (friend?). he’s good at denying and repressing things, turns out!!
