spider to the fly - myg
pairing: yoongi x female reader
warnings: smut
Tumblr media
For a young lady known to society as an entitled bitch, your fate seemed to be in the hands of your parents. By nature, you were always so obedient to the unrealistic expectations of your so-called caring parents that it made up for your bratty attitude that came from being the only heir in your family.
And this exactly explained why Min Yoongi was standing across you, with his trademark cocky grin, leaning on your bedroom's doorway.
“How did you manage to sneak in?” You asked with a playful smile on your face. Indeed, you weren’t that surprised. He could just greeted by your mom, climb the stairs like it was his place. He was your dad’s favourite, after all.
“Do I look like I’ve just broke into without your parents’ permission?” You rolled your eyes with a quiet snort. You would always open your window just for him, knowing that he would pay a visit like a creature of the night, ready to devour you.
A beautiful breeze coming through your window lingered ever so slowly over your bare legs while you gulped loudly. You patted the spot next to you on your bed and call out for him sweetly. “Just come here, I feel needy since you entered the room.”
Taking his place next to you, he shook his head in a motion showing his disbelief with a beautiful smile on his face. Once you felt his minty breath lingering on your face just centimetres away, his face clouded with sincere concern. “Dove, what happened?” He tilted your chin in order to find any traces of emotions lingered in your eyes. Without giving a proper answer, you brought your hand to his neck and played softly with his raven hair. “Why did you rush out of my parents’ house? Did they say anything to hurt you?” You couldn’t find courage in you to confront with his burning gaze. Instead you fixed your gaze on your bed and mumbled a soft “no” immediately after you felt tears started to adorn your cheeks like diamonds covered your delicate neck.
“My family never misses a chance to make me feel like I’m some sort of property, especially when I’m around you, and your family. I know, we are supposed to get married, and I appreciate that it’s you. However, just imagine I hadn’t fall in love with you since we met when we were in kindergarten? I want this to happen just because we are in love. I feel like everything slips out of my hand including my dreams of becoming a professor-” You felt out of breath when you were interrupted by a pair of soft lips. It made your head dizzy with the feeling of your mind slipping out of your head to wander around somewhere far away likely to be your dreamland.
There was no denying that everytime he looked into your eyes with his intense gaze, you felt you were burning in a hellfire. His affect on you was that immense. “Maybe my parents should adopt you. My dad likes you just fine.”
You didn’t realize when he made you lay on your back as he was towering over you with leaning on his one strong elbow to prevent crushing his weight over you. “No, Yoongi. I’m not settled for being your step sister.” You whispered with your closed eyes. Your dizzy mind refused to calculate passing minutes as you were enjoying sensations rushed through your veins. “I’m going to be your bride, don't you know that?”
"I'll take you as wife-" His breath hitched when he seemed to speak more to himself. "Just the thought of it makes me feel like I am the ruler of this whole fucking universe." You giggled as you leaned to peck his lips. With Yoongi around you, it was that easy for you to feel the happiest woman in the world even if you felt like you freaked out just seconds ago. He was notorious for being a grumpy cat for a reason, yet he was different with you. Definitely much more caring.
"Tell me Professor Min, would you let me attend your classes as a guest?" He whispered just above your ear as his fingers doing their magic below your prim and proper knee-length skirt, stroking your thighs possessively. "You know, I can be very beneficial for your academic research. Reproduction is something still so mysterious, we could find new evidences if we sacrifice ourselves to the science world."
"My mother wouldn't let me be one." Indeed, it was true. Following your dreams would never be on the silver plate that served for you. The only thing that they expected from you was to wrap this handsome man of yours around your finger. Little did they know was that he was already willing to die for you. "She prefers me to become a pretty little housewife."
"It would be a shame if I can't see you with cute glasses and tight formal skirts. I'd pass your classes with excellent grades-" He trailed his fingers on your covered pussy as he shamelessly spoke to your ear. "I'd be a good pet for my professor."
"What an encouraging husband we have here." You erotically whispered between your wet kisses along a way between his cheek to his jawline. Forgetting your parents' existence downstairs, he couldn't hold back a moan when his nostrils filled with sweet patchouli and rose essence lingering on your freshly shampooed hair.
Not that he cared, he would fight hell to hold you.
"You know I'd do anything to make you happy, my beautiful dove." You brought your thumb to his lips and softly stroke his bottom lip, he didn't lose any second to capture your thumb with his lips, slowly sucked it while his heated gaze fixed on your eyes.
"Then would you let me ride you?"
Without waiting for his response, you flipped him over and switched your positions in a heartbeat. He rested his arms under his head as he was anticipating your next move. You got rid of your panties hastily. Your soon-to-be husband boyfriend gave you a cheeky smile while you try to satiate the frustration between your legs onto his growing member covered by his expensive pants. "So this is the night I'm going to deflower you."
You wrapped your delicate hand around Yoongi's neck as you try to give him as pleasure as you could feel.
"Shut up. Just feel." As your mouth hung open from the immense pleasure you feel, Yoongi groped your waist just to make sure if he was still alive and this feeling he felt was not something he would put blame on his dirty imagination when it came to you. "You're saving it for your husband, huh? I see." When you tried to slap his chest with a growl he immediately got a grip of them and encaged between his large hands. He started to thrust up into you when you both feel you're not going to last.
Your whimpers exchanged between "yoongi" and "faster" right before you both reached your high.
"Feeling better?" He asked when he tried to catch his breathing. You giggled sweetly as you placed your figure right beside his body. "Yes."

Azul Ashengrotto with a Bad Genius reader (Part 1)
I accidentally made this fic longer than expected.
Warning: Slight Swearing
Tumblr media
• Unlike my previous fics, you are from Twisted Wonderland and currently reside in it. And yay, you're in a dorm!
• You are a prodigy raised by your father. Growing up from the struggles of poverty, you study with tremendous efforts so that your father wouldn't have to pay for the tuition fees. Not only you gained the highest honors, you also gained skills from the experiences attending in multiple clubs. You missed the first month of school at Night Raven College despite receiving a letter from them because you needed a part-time job for financial support for you and your father.
• You sometimes contemplate quitting school for the sake of helping your poor father, but it all changed after you saw an article on your phone... An article of the Octavinelle Dorm's cafe, Mostro Lounge are hiring new student employees! You triple-checked the article, it's sources and even it's photos if it's legit and turns out it is! You immediately grabbed the opportunity to study and work on campus.
• You sit down in your desk to write a letter to NRC requesting to attend school now that you're no longer busy and send it via mail. Why didn't they just send the message through the phone? Because it's tradition. Not even a day passed, they sent you another letter, stating that the Ebony Carriage will escort you. Your father, now jumping with joy, told you to pack up your things. Although you dislike the fact that your father brought your trophies and medals with him, it would be a good proof if they doubt the 100s on your report cards.
• You arrived at Night Raven College via carriage and a ghost appeared to lead you to the headmaster's office. You and your father marvelled at how large the campus is but there's a weight of nervousness on your chest reminding you of how much it costs to attend such a prestigious academy. When you arrive at the front of the office, you grew even more nervous. Your father noticed this and held your hand, squeezing it, and he reassures you that they will accept you as their student. That calmed you down and you squeezed his hand, smiling back. You two pulled your hands back and straightened your posture after you hear a muffled "Come in" from the door.
• The headmaster, Dire Crowley, interviewed you and asked you cliché questions that you can easily answer like- Why do you want to study in this school? Do you know how big the responsibility of becoming a NRC student? If a certain terrible incident occurs on campus, what would you do and would you involve your headmas-- Wait, what was that last question?
Crowley: "Ahem! Now that I've heard your answers, it seems that you are very interested and motivated to be a student here. And judging by your report cards... Sevens, are these digits for real?... Despite having average magical abilities, you are obviously a prodigy of great talent. Is there anything else you would like to add?"
Father: "O-Oh yes, yes... I was thinking of presenting these to you, sir!"
• Your father pulled a box filled with your awards and certificates out of nowhere, meanwhile you're just getting embarassed because he also included the ones you have in kindergarten to grade school. You are rather impressed at how good he is at memorising which award is which.
Father: "... This ribbon is for best in finger painting in kindergarten. This award is from a sports competition at middle school... This one is from a swimming contest at grade school... This trophy is my favourite, it's from a math contest..."
BadGenius! Yuu: "Dad, I already told you many times. The school doesn't have a scholarship. That won't convince-"
Crowley: "Please do not fret! These are enough. I forgot to inform you that Night Raven College does not have a scholarship for we only teach potential mages. The fact that we are the ones that sent you the letter signifies that you fit the criteria. And although you are late, I am willing to enroll you here as a student, for I am gracious!"
BadGenius! Yuu: ".... I-I'm sorry, what?"
Father: "As in... for free?"
Crowley: "Indeed! Now all you have to do is ask the Dark Mirror where to orient you."
Father: "N-No payments whatsoever?"
Crowley: "As long as they study with diligence and work hard with determination to be recognized as the pride of our academy, I assure you that you will not be paying a single dime! Are there any more questions?"
• Your father stood from his seat and shook the headmaster's hand excitedly and you're just there, mouth agape and eyes wide open. Didn't think it'd be this easy to convince him.
Father: "None! Thank you, sir! Thank you so much! You are very generous!"
Crowley: "Yes, yes. My generosity knows no bounds!"
BadGenius! Yuu: "........."
• Press X to doubt. You bet that the headmaster allowed it because he thought if he enrolled you, the college would have a chance against their rival academy. Speaking of academies, you've actually heard of Royal Sword Academy. The students are all gifted and proper there, but you doubt they won't have room for someone who's in the lower-class of society.
• You found your place at the Octavinelle Dormitory and have a... Talking monster thing on fire? He's obviously pretending to be a student here but it's also obvious that he somehow snuck inside the dorm. You were about to kick him out but reconsidered after he offered to assist you with magic lessons in a panic. You decided that he can stay with you until you are able to enhance your magical skills further. "Fnyagh... Fine, deal! Just don't kick me out!" The monster now known as Grim sighed in relief.
• The job, which is the other reason you enrolled, is currently available for hiring interviews. You asked the hyena beastman waiter at the lounge where the interviews are being held. He called a man who's as tall as a fucking skyscraper named Jade and expressed relief since the lounge is running low on employees. You just followed him to the VIP room and observed him like, damn... Is he even in high school? What did his parents feed him? Why does he look familiar... Wait! He's one of the waiters in the background in one of the article photos!
?????: "Ughhh Jaaade! I'm tireeed! Azul keeps telling me to keep serving customeeers! It's boriiing!"
Jade: "Oya? Now, now, Floyd. Have patience. I found a new... Part-timer for Azul."
Floyd: "Hah? That Shrimpy right there?"
BadGenius! Yuu: "...Shrimpy?"
Jade: "Excuse my brother, he's in a bad mood lately. Come this way, please."
Floyd: "Jaaade! Ugh, screw this. I'm just gonna go out and find someone to squeeze!"
• That guy wasted no time and left the lounge. You and Jade arrived at what looks like an office door and he knocked. Once you heard a voice granting permission from the other side, you and him entered. You stopped to admire the business-esque aesthetic of the office and that huge vault at the back... "Ahem!" A voice snapped you out of your trance. A man with glasses and silver hair sat behind a desk waiting. Jade stood beside the man still smiling.
BadGenius! Yuu: "S-sorry."
????: "It's alright. Have a seat. You wish to speak with me?"
BadGenius! Yuu: "Thank you... I was wondering if you're still hiring new student employees?"
????: "Oh, of course! We still are, BadGenius! Yuu."
BadGenius! Yuu: "Oh that's good then... How do you know my name?"
Azul: "My apologies, I almost forgot to introduce myself. I am Octavinelle's dorm leader and I also happened to run Mostro Lounge, Azul Ashengrotto. It's a pleasure meeting you BadGenius! Yuu. The headmage, Dire Crowley, sorted you in this dorm, yes? He's already given every Octavinelle student profiles to me."
BadGenius! Yuu: "Oh... That's right."
Azul: "That aside, do you really want this job? This establishment requires only the patient and quick employees who are dedicated to their work. Are you qualifed?"
BadGenius! Yuu: "Yes, sir. If you have doubts, I have my resume ready. Would you like to have a look?"
• Azul nodded and you hand him your resume filled with experiences from your previous part-time jobs. Azul read your papers, trying to hide his astonishment but you could tell by his eyes. Jade leaned down, covered his mouth, and whispered something you didn't quite hear in Azul's ear. The silver-haired man widened his eyes and looked at Jade as if he's confirming something. Jade nods with his index and thumb finger on his chin, grinning at Azul. Azul straightened his posture and initiated the most uncomfortable eye contact with you, causing you to flinch in your seat.
Azul: "........."
BadGenius! Yuu: ".............."
Azul: "................................."
BadGenius! Yuu: "..............................................."
Jade: "😊..."
BadGenius! Yuu: ".... Is something wro--"
Azul: "You're hired, BadGenius! Yuu."
BadGenius! Yuu: "H-huh?"
Jade: "Congratulations."
BadGenius! Yuu: "Wait- you're just going to hire me? Just like that?? No interviews???"
Azul: "You're qualified enough. You start your work today with the guidance of your senior, Jade Leech. Unfortunately, a certain employee of mine is... Not on duty as of now. You'll be temporarily replacing him. If you don't have any more inquiries, then you are free to leave."
BadGenius! Yuu: "Um... I also have a familiar with me, is that ok?"
Azul: "As long as they don't cause trouble and are well-behaved, it's fine."
BadGenius! Yuu: "Well... Alright then."
Jade: "Let's do our best."
BadGenius! Yuu: "Same. Please treat me well, senpai."
• You exited the VIP room and started working on serving tables with Jade. You could've sworn you heard Azul mumble something as you left the room.
• The work is harder than you expected. There are MANY types of costumers you didn't know a single establishment could have. Ranging from the gluttonous students from Savanaclaw who gobbled down every dish you placed on the table and couldn't wait for more. The Heartslabyul students who can't decide what to order on the menu and constantly ask for recommendations. The antisocial Ignihyde students who prefer to wait on empty tables in the corner. And of course, the Pomefiore students who are Karens that act like they're going to die if their dish isn't 100% organic.
• As if the work isn't already tiring enough, a stubborn Pomefiore student ordered a dish and got angry when he saw shellfish in it and it turns out he is actually allergic. You apologize to the customer but he smashed the plate to the floor, shouting insults at you. The noise made the other students uncomfortable and moved to farther tables.
Pomefiore Karen: "Hey, what the hell is this?! Don't you know that I am allergic to shellfish?!"
BadGenius! Yuu: "I'm sorry, i didn't know--"
Pomefiore Karen: "Don't know?! I'm a regular here! You waiters should have known that by now!"
BadGenius! Yuu: "Listen here, sir. I'm a new worker. So if you could just calm down a bit and stop scaring the other customers, I'll--"
• Your attempt at calming him down failed as he splattered his drink all over you. Your Octavinelle uniform is soaking wet now but the he still hasn't had enough.
Pomefiore Karen: "This is ridiculous! I'd like to speak with your manager! How insulting!"
Azul: "What seems to be the problem?"
• Azul appeared out of nowhere or probably because he heard the noise and went to see the ruckus. He saw Jade, who was supposed to be in the kitchen, stepped out and Ruggie, who was supposed to be serving tables, stopped to observe the commotion as well. He turned his head to see what they're looking at and see his newly hired employee already getting the Karen Customer Special on the first day of work. He groaned in exhaustion... He's got a lot on his plate and he certainly doesn't want to deal with rambunctious people like him right now, so might as well throw him outside.
Pomefiore Karen: "Are you the manager?"
Azul: "Yes, I am."
Pomefiore Karen: "Well your employee here just served me a dish that I'm allergic to! Do they have no shame?! Is this how you treat your regulars?! I demand a refund!"
BadGenius! Yuu: "I'm sorry, sir. I'll pay for the--"
Azul: "Whether you're a regular here or not, it doesn't matter. They've apologized, did they not? Yet you mistreat them and disturb the peace the other customers are trying to enjoy during their meal. I shall not tolerate this. Jade, show them the door."
Jade: "Gladly."
Ruggie: "Shishishi! Finally!"
Pomefiore Karen: "H-Hey! What are you doing?! Let go of me! Get your hands off..."
• Azul then turned to you and asked if you're okay. You insist you're alright and he told you to take a break and go to the kitchen to dry yourself. That's where you met Ruggie, another part-timer in Mostro Lounge and a student from Savanaclaw. He teased you about your predicament, thanking you for sacrificing your uniform for the sake of kicking the Pomefiore Karen out. It seems like the hyena beastman dealt with him many times before judging by the sound of relief in his voice. That man was really hard to please...
• Days later, you finally get the hang of things here in NRC. Crowley has been giving you TONS of favors and he guilt trips you into thinking that you took his "kindness" in enrolling you as an advantage... And you somehow fell for it. Every. Single. Fucking. Time. Seriously, how are you falling for it? I mean, his acting was bad but you accepted those favors or else he'll revoke your father's deal. You made some friends, although they're not great study mates but they still stick with you and Grim.
• And speaking of studies, you actually became one of the most intelligent students at NRC, your grades on par with Riddle Rosehearts and Azul Ashengrotto. Makes sense since you have bigger scores at both written tests AND physical tests than they do. Your participation in multiple club activities made the load much lighter. Your well thought out ideas and suggestions for the improvement of school events pleased even the dorm leaders. You helped your friends with their own studies by explaining the instructions like a preschool teacher to a 5 year old. Your diligence and dedication to your studies easily became the reason why you're the teachers' favorite.
• ........ But Azul didn't like that.
To be Continued...

“A Hundred and More Memories with You”
SUMMARY: A story in which Ace reminisces upon the many memories of him and Ashi.
WORD COUNT: 5.8k
NOTES: <3 enjoy the rare Ashi writing

Ace would consider himself an Ashi expert. A lot of people would consider him one too, considering how often they hang out with each other.
And when he says it’s a lot, it’s a lot. Sure, of course, there’s Deuce and Grim too. They all go through their antics together, whether it be slaying in a singing and dancing competition or solving the latest issue Night Raven College has got to answer, which includes facing off against high school boys in life-risking duels, when they should really be in therapy. They all went through a lot together and somehow pulled through and survived all that nonsense too. Same class, same lunch table, same shenanigans for them all. And Ace would like to think of them as a dream quad, but here’s the thing.
Who got there just a little earlier than Juice did when Ashi was having trouble at Scarabia? Who did Ashi go to hug tightly when that happened? Who did Ashi stay behind with when VDC practice came by and everyone else left the room? Who turned out to feel so comfortable with him that she fell asleep on his shoulder? Who always bunks at Ramshackle and is always taken in by the prettiest girl at NRC?
That’s right. Not Grim, not Deuce, but Ace Trappola himself.
It might not be much, but Ace finds himself thinking that it’s those small things that no one else sees that places him a little higher than everyone else. With this, at least. He can confidently go up to anyone and go, “Hey! That’s my best friend you’re talking to, you know?” with a shit eating grin on his face, and no one would bat an eye. Because that’s just usual Ace behavior around Ashi.
Behind closed doors or not, he’s real committed to her.
…Maybe if you cut out their first meeting, actually. He thinks about it sometimes. How’d he fall for a goody two shoes like her?
Just some girl, straight out a coffin and fell onto the floor, during NRC’s opening ceremony. It was really funny! Doesn’t mean it made him think much about it. Like yeah, sure it's all-boys school, but it’s not anything crazy. What, none of you have seen a girl before? Do you guys not have moms?
Until Ace spots her again, her eyes crinkling in confusion at the sight of the Great Seven. Some dialogue is exchanged, and nothing is of note. She’s cute and pretty, sure, but it’s not like Ace came to NRC, an all-boy’s school might he reiterate, to get a girlfriend. After the last snooze fest he had? Pfft! Forget it! Not to mention she’s got no passion or fire within her. The little furball she’s got beside her is the one who carries that all for her, I guess.
“Maybe before you try gettin’ into the academy again, you should try a second crack at kindergarten? Hahaha!” That was the Ashi-Grim duo’s first taste of the iconic grin™.
“Grrrr… How dare you!”
“Anyway, I’ve gotta head to class~. Unlike these two janitor losers over here I’ve got places to be. I’ll leave you alone and let’cha get back to picking up some trash.”
Ace still remembers looking over at such a blank face. Just standing there like a statue, watching the situation play out. Nothing about this interaction would’ve hinted to what was in store for him.
“Hey, goody two shoes, maybe loosen up a little, how ‘bout it? You could benefit from some good old insults every once in a while. Take a page outta the weasel’s book here.” The redhead teases one last time before his departure, as he watches the brunette’s eyes lock with his.
“Hehe,” Ashi finally perks up, “I’ll think about it, Acey.” She chimes.
Ace is about to shoot something at her again, until a blaze of blue fire engulfs the area around them. All tension is lost and next thing he knows, he’s battling a literal animal and being sent to wash windows as punishment for the roughhousing. He didn’t sign up for this at all! But after some self reflection, the Ace now would roll his eyes and mutter, “Well, I GUESS it was kinda deserved.” But of course, that would only be because of Ashi. Despite how much of a “bad influence” he is on her, in her own way, his best friend had her own ways of helping Ace improve himself too. They balance eachother out well, and Ace smiles as he thinks this. To make himself feel better? Maybe.
Even still, in the beginning, Ace didn’t really think much about Ashi. He ditched the whole window cleaning ordeal for a reason, you know? And no matter how hard he tried, no amount of pushing her buttons resulted in any sort of snap back, no retorts at all. Bullying her more than Deuce didn’t work either— so he eventually gave up and changed targets. Which I guess was fine, since he had to focus on the stressful situation of the mines.
But at the end of the mage stone obtaining mission, when Ashi caught some time alone with him on the walk back as Deuce and Grim walked ahead, Ace figured that she just wanted a piece of him. He can’t blame her, honestly, so he decided to give her what she wanted and talked to her casually for a while. He thought one last time, adding some spice into the conversation, to joke around.
“You were reaaaally scared back in that dark and spooky house, weren’tcha?” Ace teases, giving Ashi that signature grin once again, “The cave too, to boot. What are you, actually scared of the dark or something?”
He catches Ashi’s attention, and she looks at him, offended, “Aaand? I totally did it still, you know! Give credit where credit’s due, Acey!”
“Still means you’re a baby.”
“Hmph.” Ashi huffs in response, pouting a little, “…At least I manned up and made a plan instead of arguing like an idiot with the others.”
An actual comeback? For real? Ace didn’t think she had it in her!
The ginger’s lips curl up into an even bigger grin as he pokes the bear a little more, “And who did the execution, huh? Without me, you wouldn’t have even gotten to go through with your plan!”
“I could say that about Deucey. He definitely deserves more credit than you do anyway.”
“Ha! As if. Juice over here barely did anything.”
“Either way, neither of you would’ve come out of this successfully without me,” Ashi sighs, fed up with Ace’s behavior, “What’s your brawn worth if you don’t think about how to use it?”
“Offense over defense, baby!”
“Exactly why you would’ve failed without me!” Ashi snaps at him, immediately realizing how much she’s allowed Ace to wind her up right after. She internally scolds herself for acting out, and before Ace can say anything else, she breaks eye contact and changes topics.
Noticing how her body stiffens and her words seem less… slangy than usual, Ace can’t help but ponder about this. This whole entire time, not a single complaint has come out of her lips. Her voice was constantly sing songy throughout the entire nerve-wracking situation, but the way that it climbed up and became more strict and stern at this moment was a complete curveball. A breaking point, perhaps? Not to mention, the sudden way her body closes up and acts like it resets? It’s like she’s being corrected. A light goes off in the instigator’s head.
Huh, Ace thinks. Maybe goody two shoes here isn’t exactly what she’s living up to be.
He barely knows how he got here himself. Something about Ace’s first taste of something outside of Ashi’s whole “peppy good girl” deal was enough of an incentive to pester her more, and more, and more and more and more, only in attempts to see more of that special side of her. And somehow, through some sort of divine intervention, he got closer than anyone could’ve imagined for the guy who’s known for pissing people off.
Closer than anyone else she’s met in Twisted Wonderland has gotten, and based on how she words it, closer than anyone in her home world, even. The fact makes Ace feel bad, but at the same time he can’t help but feel kind of proud. Hell, he doesn’t even understand how people don’t like the real her. The whole good girl act is polite and sweet, sure, but compared to how dynamic and fun the hidden side of her is… Why would you ever think that the shallow 2D side is better than the in-depth 3D side in this scenario?!
If he ever gets there, Ace pledges to beat the hell out of every person who made Ashi think this in her home world. You can count on it.
From there on out, he had to keep his curiosity at a minimum. Though he wanted to keep pushing, he cared for her so much that he didn’t wanna cross her boundaries too far. So he kept it as teases and banters for the time being, because that’s how you keep it light and fun. Such as having sleepovers, just the two of them at Ramshackle.
To say the least, Ace got a little too comfy.
At some point, Ashi would offer him an old sweatshirt she never wears, too oversized for her but perfectly fitting for Ace during the cold nights he would want to visit. At some point, Ace had a secret knock he used at her window after the incident where he had only scared her instead of delightfully surprising her. At some point, Ashi and Ace giggling the night away became the norm for them.
Simple? Yeah, Ace had to admit, it’s just talking the night away with a friend till you both pass out, but it has its charm. Just as they showcase it in movies, the two best friends always hang out under the covers, tell scary stories and laugh excessively due to being way too sleep deprived, having a special bond that no one else would understand, just because they understood each other that well.
Something so simple, and yet something Ashi never got a taste of before.
She never got that close.
So, Ace, being the great friend he is and being the bearer of knowing Ashi’s history of, well, not being too involved in the usual teen activities, he would take it upon himself to go and make a dream come true. His mind begins to wander off way back when, before any of these bestie advancements were a thing. When Ace wouldn’t come out of nowhere, instead making his way through the door, like a normal person. And what better place to propose the idea of Ashi’s very first sleepover than the cafeteria?
“You’re telling me you’ve never had a sleepover. Seriously, Ash? The heck kinda life did you live?” Ace jokes, giving her the most bewildered look as they eat their lunch.
“Eh…” Ashi mumbles about, thinking about it as she takes a bite of her sandwich, “Kinda just the way the cards played out? Dunno, my mom didn’t really get the whole dealio.” Shrugging as if it’s nothing, she looks over at Grim chowing down his food to end the current topic.
Ace looks at her as she finishes talking, and he feels like her smile’s lacking more than it usually does.
“Then why don’t you experience it while you’ve got the right cards?” He shoots back, pulling Ashi back into the conversation, “You know who’s not here? Your mom.” He chuckles a little at his little joke, “Seriously though, take this whole away-from-your-family situation to your advantage!”
“Ace has a point, actually,” Deuce joins the conversation, “For once we agree on something. You’re already in a magic world, what’s one more abnormal thing to experience?”
Ashi blinks a couple times at the pair, before putting her finger to her chin and letting out a hum, “I guess so… Who do I invite, though? Plus, there’s Grimmy I gotta worry about too. This guy’s a drama queen…”
“I need my beauty sleep!” Grim scowls, before getting right back to his tuna. Ace rolls his eyes before he leans across the table, towards Ashi.
“Invite me, duh! Who else is your bestie, Ash?”
She smiles at his attitude, “Mr. Trappola, huuuh?” The brunette takes a comedic amount of time to think about it, “All his complaining miiight keep me up at night… Me and Grim are in the same boat when it comes to the sleep department too~.”
Deuce chuckles, “He really doesn’t shut up. Actually, a sleepover with all of us would be fun, but I have studying to do…”
Grim adds on, “Well I don’t wanna see an ugly face when I wake up!”
Tired of the bashing from the rest of the group, Ace loudly groans, “Then why don’t you take your ugly mug to me and Juice’s dorm while me and Ashi have a sleepover! Problem solved!”
It takes one glance from Deuce for Ace to get the message, “You know, you just sound like you just wanna get alone time with Ashi.”
The redhead glares back, “As if! I just wanna have a sleepover!”
…Only to add a solemn “Back me up, would you?” to it. Deuce gets it and helps him out.
“It would help me actually, Ashi. Take him away from me so I don’t have to worry about getting off track. And Grim can’t be that bad of a roommate, right? He’s just a cat. If he slept the whole time, I think it’d be relaxing if anything.” Deuce adds on, slowly egging on Ashi to decide.
“If you feed me enough tuna!”
The prefect ponders for a second, as her fingers tap once, twice on her chin, “I mean I guess… It’s not like it’s the first time Acey’s stayed over.” Ace pumps his fist in the air, and the other two think he’s being a little too obvious.
“Win! This time, it’ll totally be a proper sleepover. Call me the sleepover master, even! Get ready to not get a wink of sleep tonight, Ash!”
Ashi giggles in response before the bell rings and everyone scatters once again.
Later that night, Ace appears at the door of Ramshackle once he gets word that Grim has taken his place as Deuce’s roommate. He knows that Ashi’s scared of being alone in the dark, so of course he rushes over as fast as he can. Not because he wants to. It’s just what a decent person would do. It’s nothing to give him a weird look about. Right?
A few knocks and he’s let inside, and it’s not like anything has changed much. The dorm is the same old dusty and dainty place it’s always been, except this time he’ll be spending his time in an actual bed. No, it’s not because he’s asked all those previous times that Ashi finally caved in and let him get what he wants. It’s because now they’re just close enough that it’s chill. There’s no other reasoning further than that. Right?
Because he and Ashi are just best friends. He’s not here because he wants to have alone time with her! Ace just wants to see his best friend happy, able to experience all the things she hasn’t. Because that’s what good friends do.
…Right?
Okay, maybe Ace did get a little sidetracked from his main mission now that he thinks about it. The whole idea of being alone with Ashi planted a seed in his head, he admits it, but how could you blame him, honestly? None of that means that he didn’t get what he originally wanted, though. Two birds with one stone! He wins either way!
Still, it’s a night filled to the brim with snarky comments and blissful laughter, and while certain housewardens wouldn’t allow staying up this late, Ace decides that the lack of sleep is worth it. A sleepy Ashi is always cute, cuter than usual, and it’s an evening of rare sights. They’re both laying down all across the bed, staring at the blank ceilings and watching the cobwebs the prefect hates sway with the breeze of the bedroom. It’s calm, and neither of them are thinking about what they’re saying. The norm for one and an uncommon occurrence for the other.
“So how’d your first sleepover go?” Ace mutters, tiredness hitting them both. It’s dim within the room, and it’s thanks to Ashi’s nightlight that they can even take in this atmosphere at all.
“It was pretty hypesies.” Ashi replies back, and it’s a simple exchange. ‘Till she speaks up again after a while, and Ace is surprised at her different tone of voice.
“…Thanks, Acey.”
“Eh? Sounded pretty serious there, Ash.”
“That’s ‘cause I am!”
Ace faintly laughs, “Yeah, yeah. No problem.”
“Really though. I’m pretty sure you’re not as dumb as you look, so you probably caught on already,” Ace’s eyebrows suddenly jump in surprise at the sudden change in character, and Ashi proceeds, “I’m not really used to being this buddy buddy with people, even chicks— And like, it just means a lot to me that you even volunteered to do this with me in the first place. It makes me real happies to call you my bestie, you know?
I like that you’re honest. It makes me feel comfies. I can kinda be more like myself, somethin’ like that? And…” her voice quiets down before she says anything else. Which is somehow both a good and bad thing for Ace.
They both soak in the moment, and Ace’s cheeks feel like they’re burning up just a little. This is probably the most genuine reaction he’s gotten out of her— But at the same time, it’s completely unfair how she’s simultaneously making this seem so casual and yet so impactful.
His train of thought quickly fades away as a small, weak laugh from Ashi breaks through, “Sorries, I got too serious there. You might as well call me Riddle or something at this point,” she murmurs, her voice not quite carrying the energy she intended, “Probs ‘cause it’s past my bedtime.”
Ace hears her sit up a little, and he still stares at the ceiling blankly as he hears the crinkles and turning of the blankets along the bed. His next words practically come out of thin air, cheeks still feeling warm.
“You really should talk more, Ashi.”
The noises he hears suddenly pause, and after a quaint moment of silence, he hears a relieved exhale from the other side of the bed.
“…Thanks, Acey.”
It’s then that Ace wonders if it’s not just his cheeks that are hotter than usual at that moment.
From there on out, Ace feels both better and worse about himself. Because, man, his chest begins to feel kinda weird when he sees her. He swears she’s gotten prettier somehow, but at the same time, he also feels proud that he’s Ashi’s special person— she basically said it herself, y’know? Part of him wonders if this is the farthest he’s gonna get. Both as a friend and, well, maybe more.
So he waits days on end, they have their sleepovers more and more often, and hell, they get to a point where they have sleepovers every day. Ah yeah, the VDC days, amirite?
In his head, Ace thinks that this “era” of “AshAce” (name made by him, proof is in his alchemy notebook) is an era in which their relationship deepened even further.
There’s multiple points and examples he could give, and he’d tell you about ‘em and brag all day if he could. But the most vivid memory for Ace, apart from the one he forcibly tried to forget out of embarrassment, has gotta be when he really saw Ashi speak her mind.
He remembers the rain pittering and pattering outside when he went to go and get a drink. It was a cool night, after everyone was done and exhausted from practice, so he figured the one who’s all “I need my beauty sleep!”, especially, was asleep. Well, until he saw a figure outside and flipped the freak out— Alas, it was just Ashi, but he found it to be pretty out of character for her. She’s notorious for being horrible at dressing herself for the cold, and he’s sure Vil would bark her head off if she got sick before their performance. Ace’s neck still aches in memory of all the times he’s been collared, and he knows that pain of being yelled at by a housewarden all too well. Knowing Ashi? She wouldn’t be able to handle that kind of discipline. So why’s she out there in the first place?
He makes his way outside to investigate, and knocks a couple times on the doorframe, same pattern as he would when stepping through her window. Ashi’s frame jumps in surprise, and she quickly turns around, body stiff and drops of rain across her skin.
“Oh, it’s just you, Acey.”
“You aren’t looking too hot. What’re you even doing out here?”
“Ah…” Her tone of voice trails off, and ends off with a sneeze. Not a good sign.
The boy lets out a somewhat disappointed sigh as he sits down next to her, aware of the sketchbook on the porch as she keeps to herself. Based on the way there’s endless scribbles and several notes floating around the halfway finished sketches, contrasting against the blissful, one-take doodles in class, Ace puts the pieces together and concludes that maybe he’ll stay quiet just this once, the best he can. To prevent himself from getting any more tuckered out, and to prevent Ashi clamming up again.
He doesn’t like oysters, and clams sure aren’t that different in this scenario.
Now that he’s got a better look at her though, Ashi doesn’t seem to be very warm. The rainy ambience gave everything a downer mood, and her lack of a dry jacket is concerning. Her cheeks are wet too; but Ace can’t tell if that’s a byproduct of the weather or her own emotions.
“You don’t wanna get sick, do you? Vil’s never gonna let you hear the end of it.” Ace mutters, as he takes his own NRC blazer and drapes it across Ashi’s shoulders. She gives a faint smile, one saying thanks, before it fades away once again.
“You know me~. Not good with cold weather.”
“You’re even worse with discipline.”
“Fairs.” Ashi sighs, her voice quavering a little. The vibes in the air aren’t it, as Ashi would usually say, and I guess that’s something to apologize for for her.
“Sorry,” she says. It’s a quick mutter, but Ace hears it. And he hears her act unravel further and further, feeling his own heart drop and drop.
Hesitant, she continues, “I’m— I think I’m too tired to keep anything up at this point. There’s been so many issues going on and with managing and performing in VDC and feeling homesick I can’t even look anyone in the face right now. I’m so worried that my smile doesn’t live up to what it usually does, and I’m worried that everyone’s gonna notice and it’s all gonna go to ruins and the whole process of learning the dance and song is gonna get so— so… I don’t know!
I wanna perform. I want to learn from the others, but I don’t want to show them an Ashi that they’ll be annoyed with or make them think she isn’t what she’s lived up to be. I just can’t muster up the courage to push the act, so I end up spiraling down and isolating myself which is so not it for a cooperative project like this. Even if I do show up, the heck are the odds that they’ll be satisfied with such a half-assed act. It’s so hard to keep up.”
And now I’m showing you all of this stuff that I don’t want you to see and it’s embarrassing. It’s… I’m sorry, Ace. I’m sorry.”
Her confession finally comes to an end, and Ashi falls into silence. Meanwhile, Ace’s response is said so quickly— It doesn’t even seem like he’s keeping up with his own words.
“Ashi, seriously, you know I really don’t care, right?”
“…Huh?”
“Actually. I don’t care at all. I can’t speak for everyone else, but I don’t give a care in the world if you’re crying on my shoulder or laughing and doodling on my paper in class,” a breathy laugh follows suit, “Great Seven, honestly, when are you gonna realize that?”
The way Ace’s words just fall out of his mouth make him feel like he’s being too honest and brash again, and he doesn’t want to hurt Ashi in any way. He stops himself for a second before looking at the brunette’s expression, delicate and yet invested. It’s not anything ordinary, and maybe someone would find it weird coming from her. But if anything, Ace is an honest man. Both of them know this.
“You… Man. You know how I said you should talk more? That still holds up. You should think less, if anything. You overthink all these things, and you’re so people pleaser about it. Like— C’mon! You know I’ve got your back. You don’t have to be so cautious and scared of things.”
Ashi can barely process his words.
“Just know that I…”
Ace pauses.
“I… care for you. A lot.”
The silence that follows after is awkward, sure. Two frozen figures under the thin overhead of Ramshackle dorm, and Ace feels like he’s fumbled his words. The one time he hesitates.
Yet, one more raindrop falls to the floor, breaking the silence. And after that, one, two, three follow pursuit.
She doesn’t say anything, and yet Ace hears so much. Offering her his shoulder, they spend just a while longer together, soaking in the moment. Ace doesn’t mind the tears soaking into his clothing. Because if it results in Ashi’s true, sunny smile shining his way, he doesn’t mind. He doesn’t mind at all.
Of course, not without some lighthearted teasing.
It’s a bittersweet memory, Ace notes as he reminisces. A memory of many, but definitely one of the highlights, he thinks. Like he said, a pretty core point in their relationship, and an eye opener as to how Ashi works.
…He could even say it helped soothe his own insecurities too.
Ace would consider himself brash, assertive, and I guess in some cases, insensitive of other’s feelings. Other people think that too. It’s part of who he is, the troublemaking prankster he is. It’s a double edged sword. Sometimes people complain about your attitude and think you’re a dick, or sometimes people actually think you’re doing something good on a rare occasion.
While this kind of attitude could totally get you out of sticky scenarios, sometimes Ace’s heart hurts at the way people climb up before him. He did it to himself, really— I mean, he’s gained a reputation and at an expense, he just so happened to lose the chance of hearing some praise. The troublemaker gets something done? At least he’s actually done something. The good guy does it? Everyone’s cheering him on.
It stings a little.
It’s just the way he is, he knows it. He tells himself this again and again. He’s proud of it, but it’s hard to feel like he’s really accomplished something when people treat him the way they do. When he feels like he’s falling behind, all he can do is give snarky remarks to the people above him. He doesn’t do anything. He doesn’t gain anything.
But the rainy clouds fade away when Ashi’s near him, able to put all her trust in his care and see him as something better than a guy who’ll mess things up. She sees him as her knight in shining armor, and Ace’s heart heals.
To be someone people want to be around, and to have people see you for your true self without berating you because of it.
It’s something they both want. Something they both have, now that they’re together. Ace doesn’t wanna let that go. Not for one second.
These memories and thoughts with the girl he really loves are what Ace has to repeat in his mind, over and over and over again in this moment. Because when he’s standing in their little Heartslabyul hideout, the mood perfect and warm just like those paintings Ashi gushes about, voice clear and his back straight, he needs all the evidence he has.
He’s ready to take a shot at making this last forever.
Though, despite how determined he is, it’s not like he’s acting like his palms aren’t insanely sweaty right now. It’s lowkey embarrassing at how riled up he is about this.
Even in his basketball matches, he isn’t this nervous. But maybe it’s ‘cause Ashi isn’t cheering him on now that he’s really feeling the pressure? His thoughts wander and wander… couldn’t she get here sooner?
Jeez, how do you talk to girls again?
Ace has had a girlfriend before. He knows how to treat girls, but this opportunity is so much more stressful. Ashi’s not just a shot at a possible girlfriend for fun. He’s surprised himself if he’s being real about it, that he’s even this serious about them.
He didn’t intend for it to end up this way. To be friends, to best friends, to falling for one another and now, risking it all away in attempts to, what, kiss her? I guess it would be worth it. Wait— maybe he shouldn’t get too cocky about it. But doesn’t Ashi love him because he’s cocky? Wait a minute! Who said she even liked him like that in the first place?!
The redhead groans a little as he throws his head back. His last get-a-girl operation compared to this is insane. From boring stupid love to serious I-love-you-for-real love? Did Ashi really impact him this badly? Did her hopeless romantic disease spread to him too?! At this point, Ace doesn’t know if the break they spent apart while Ashi was off fighting Idia helped him calm down his feelings or make them more prominent.
He wallows in his thoughts a little longer, the doubt slowly consuming him, before a small noise of footsteps make their way towards him, causing him to straighten up. A patch of leaves open up, and Ashi waves through, catching Ace with somewhat of a goofy smile on his face.
Gosh, she really is pretty.
The nervous boy stands and waits for her to make her way towards him, and Ashi looks around the garden. Someone spruced it up, for sure. Starting out as just a simple hideout for Ace when he tried stalling from getting collared by Riddle, and turning into a hangout space for the two of them, Ashi never would’ve thought she’d see it in its full glory like this. Some cute fairy lights, treats on the small table, and even considering her fear of the dark, something about the atmosphere here still makes her feel delighted. It’s nice, but it obviously gives the suspicion that something’s gonna happen.
While she’s stuck enjoying the scenery, Ace can’t help but feel his smile getting even goofier as he watches her. The smile that shines through as she looks over at him tells Ace that he’s gotten successful with the first part.
“Ahaha. Acey, everything’s so bedazzled. What’s happening?” Ashi jokes, her voice chiming through the nighttime breeze. The redhead chuckles a little, before stepping another step closer.
“Just got something to tell you. It’s not a bad joke this time, I swear,” Ace comments, trying to keep the mood light, “So I tried getting the vibes to translate through this and that. Artsy, right? You proud?” He gives a snarky smile, gaining a laugh from the brunette.
“Yeah yeah~. So what is it?” Ashi tilts her head, awaiting for the big reveal. Ace gulps, before going on ahead. Just like he planned.
“Listen, I know that we haven’t really gotten time to spend with eachother since the end of VDC, but the whole break while you were gone… It got me to think about some stuff.” He starts off, focusing on the way Ashi’s expression changes along the way, “It made me really think of all the stuff we’ve been through, together, and I couldn’t help but keep thinking about how close we’ve gotten since you got here.
And NRC is filled to the brim with guys. Heck, some of them even have crushes on you. But…” Ace exhales, his heartbeat quickening as he starts to forget his lines. But in proper Trappola fashion, he bounces back and decides to go with his gut.
Brows furrowed as he clasps Ashi’s hands in his and pulls it to his chest, he spills his heart out to her.
“But none of those guys, and I mean none of them deserve you! You deserve someone you can laugh and cry with. Someone who won’t hate on you for showing something a little weaker than a big grin. Like me.
No matter what, even if we ever butt heads, you know I’ll always set it straight. Heck— I don’t even know how much time you have left in Twisted Wonderland— and I don’t know how much time we have left together. But none of that matters.
Because, Ashi— I love you.
I love you and I want to spend every single second with you. As something more than friends. Something where I can give you all the love you deserve, and you don’t have to be scared.
So please, just answer me.
Will you let me?”
The stars shine in Ashi’s eyes as she processes Ace’s words, and he feels his heart beating out of his chest. The tension is insane, and he can’t do anything but watch her for any sign of a reaction.
Stars, dancing in her eyes as they tear up and shine, her cheeks being painted a rosy red, and her shining smile falling into a soft one.
“Ace…”
“I love you, Ash.”
She laughs as her face faces downwards, hair falling over her eyes, “You idiot…” she mutters, before looking Ace in the eyes once again.
“I love you too. A lot.” Ashi confesses back, voice choking up a little as she laughs again. Again and again. It’s music to Ace’s ears, and he can't help but find himself laughing along as he picks her up and hugs her like it was her last. The two simmer in their emotions for a while, tears and jolly laughter transforming the atmosphere into a lovely and bright scene.
This is another memory to mark down, Ace subconsciously thinks as he holds Ashi in his arms, one to look back on again and again.
And he can’t wait to make even more memories from here on out.

Riddle: What's going on? Why are you insisting to share a bed with me?
Baby MC: *gives him a big hug*
Riddle: ...
Trey: *knocks on his door and walks in* *once he sees them, lets out a sigh of relief*
Trey: I'm glad they're here.
Riddle: What happened, Trey? I asked you to tuck them in.
Trey: I did. But it's still a little bit early so I read them a book.
Riddle: A book?
Trey: Yes. And um... *troubled smile* I think they didn't like it.
Riddle: What was it about?
Trey: Siblings who became distant after the years passed by.
Riddle: ...
Riddle: *stern* Trey.
Trey: I know. I'm sorry. I thought it was a good story because of the drawings.
Ace: Housewarden Riddle, aren't you a little bit late for class now?
Riddle: Yes. But Professor Trein will understand. *helping Baby MC to change clothes*
Riddle: Nope. These are too tight. Bring me another.
Heartslabyul student: Yes, housewarden! *runs to get another pair of shoes*
Baby MC: Yada?
Riddle: Yes. Those shoes are not a good fit.
Ace: Oh. Maybe because they've grown a little.
Riddle: ...
Riddle: Right.
Baby MC: *staring curiously at their brother*
Lilia: What's wrong, Riddle Rosehearts? You seem a little bit gloomy today.
Riddle: Ah, Lilia-senpai.
Lilia: Oh. And hello too, Baby Rosehearts. You look adorable as usual.
Baby MC: Yeyu~!
Lilia: *chuckles* So, what's bothering us today?
Riddle: ...
Riddle: I just realized... MC is growing too fast. Soon enough, I would've to return them to the Queendom of Roses.
Lilia: Oh? But didn't your mother ask you to take care of them because she was too busy to watch over her baby?
Riddle: She was worried that it would affect my studies so she started hiring some nannies.
Riddle: Anyway, I wouldn't be bothered by something so trivial.
Lilia: *looks at the baby*
Baby MC: *listening intently*
Lilia: I don't think it's trivial at all. You see, you might be worried that you're not creating enough core memories for your baby sibling.
Riddle: Is that so...?
Lilia: Yes. *chuckles* You should cheer up. You wouldn't want the baby to pick up sad emotions.
Riddle: Yes. That's right.
Deuce: Housewarden Rosehearts! I think MC went out again!
Riddle: I see. I'll check where they are. *uses his baby tracker*
Riddle: Hm? It says here they're in the office of the headmage.
Deuce: The headmage's office?
Riddle and Deuce: ...
Riddle: *has arrived to the headmage's office and witnessing the commotion*
Professor Trein and Professor Crewel: *laughing as they find the situation amusing*
Crowley: *in a chipmunk voice* Professor Trein and Professor Crewel! Don't just stand there and help me!
Baby MC: *has used their magic on him to make him tiny* Yabababu? *holding a contract Azul made for them in which it states that MC should be a student of Night Raven College the moment they could read and write*
Crowley: No! I won't be signing that contract!
Baby MC: ...
Baby MC: *turns their head to Professor Trein*
Professor Trein: Headmage, you don't have any choice right now. The baby is the one who can only break their own signature spell.
Crowley: Oh...
Riddle: ...
Professor Crewel: There you are, Mr. Rosehearts. Come in.
Riddle: What happened?
Professor Crewel: Your baby sibling wishes to spend time with you as much as they could. In fact, they've got the approval of your mother.
Professor Crewel: Headmage is the only one being stubborn right now.
Crowley: My dear Night Raven College is not a kindergarten... *sobs*
Riddle: *once they got back to Heartslabyul*
Baby MC: Yayi?
Riddle: Pft— Yes. *kisses their cheek* You really scared the headmage.
Baby MC: *giggles* *kissing his cheek back*
Riddle: *chuckles*

Hello! I'm sorry if this question already been asked and answered but have any character mentioned about going to elementary before coming to the NRC?
Also, have they ever explained about whether there is elementary, middle and high school in twisted wonderland?
Thank you!
Hello hello! Thank you for this question!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There are references to Riddle, Trey, Deuce, Jack, Jade, Floyd, Azul and Epel all attending elementary school!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There is a mistranslation on EN about Kalim and Jamil attending elementary school together when they did not: Jamil went to school while Kalim was homeschooled until NRC.
(EN does not have the best track record with subject pronouns. Jamil does not technically say "I" in his sentence, but as he was sharing a story about himself, we know he is the subject.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We also have lines about Riddle, Ace, Deuce, Jade, Floyd, Azul, Jamil, Epel and Sebek all attending middle school.
I have not been able to find a line from Jack about attending middle school, but he does say that his younger brother is.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I was not able to find any reference to what schools Vil attended before NRC. Interestingly we are given the labels of "child-Jade" and "middle-school Jade" for Azul's overblot flashback in order to track how long Jade, Floyd and Azul have known each other, but during Vil's flashback there are no such hints about what ages or grade levels Jack and Vil were at when they first met.
Jack says that they went to school together for "a year a two," but does not mention what level of schooling.
Cater mentions changing schools often before NRC, but might not reference elementary- or middle-schools directly.
Malleus says that he received teaching from tutors.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like Kalim, Leona says he was also taught by tutors at home, while neither Ruggie nor Silver had any official schooling at all prior to NRC, with Silver studying at home (often alone) and Ruggie's education being limited to "practical life skills."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What is fascinating is that the game does not use the Japanese-language words for elementary/middle/high school, using English-language words instead!
It is established in the novel that the language being spoken in the universe is not Japanese, and the game may be using the English language as if it were a fantasy-world language like Elvish (re: why all the countries have two names, and why the in-game map is not available in Japanese).
Tumblr media
In the prologue, for example, Ace uses the Japanese-language word for kindergarten, but in the novel this was updated to the English-language word, "elementary school."
The English-word "kindergarten" is not as ubiquitous amongst native Japanese-language speakers as "elementary school."
This meant that the writer had to choose what was more important: staying faithful to the game, or upholding the continuity of "only English-language-words are used for pre-NRC educational institutions." And they chose the latter!
Tumblr media
The English word "high school" is used to describe NRC itself.
(Words like "high school students" are kept in Japanese but grammar differences mean that we cannot just drop "high school students" into a Japanese-language sentence and have it make sense, so it is possible that this was a compromise for the sake of comprehension.)
And this might all come back to Twst's unique school system!
It is not 100% Japanese, English or American, taking inspiration from all three without recreating anything literally (which is often also true of the characters themselves).
The game seems to have combined the UK's two-year, pre-university "college" system with American four-year high schools, used the English-language title "Night Raven College," and then had the characters refer to it in-game as a "high school," using English to establish it as a foreign system!

Any dexven headcanons you have? 👀
Soo i don't do headcanons allot but hey why not btw some of here is proven by the books or i just saw in the tiktok and agreed with it while some is just base on my observations and others are just thoughts
Dexven headcanons
-both of them are a quicky(swifty)
-dexter has allot of raven picture in his mirrorpad
-raven had a picture frame with a picture of dexter in her night stand(same as dexter)
-they actually admire each other beforehand
-both of them actually is shadow by someone (daring to dexter and The evil Queen to Raven)
-both of them are pressure to be someone they don't want to be
-Dexter actually like raven since fairy-garden(kindergarten) school
-Both actually hate the fact that every person has to follow their ancestors footsteps
-Both is actually considered bisexual by half of the fandom
-Raven actually describe her type very similar to dexter
-The two of them are actually very comfortable to one another
-they are actually a very good singer
-they actually have the same music type
-they secretly glance at one another when their in the castleteria, classroom, etc.
-No one really knows why they are so close
-They are actually secretly together since the webisodes "date night" i guess in a lowkey kind of way
-they secretly see each other after school in the balcony watching the sunset
-theire relationship is actually almost the same as Huntly before they announced that they are together
-they sometimes set up a secret date in the wonderland tea shop where the mad hatter arrange a table just for them and no one will actually see them
-they also go on a date in the enchanted forest and sometimes they go to the dark forest for fun(dexter is kinda spook at it for the first but then notice how raven kinda like it and he started to like it aswell)
-dexter actually like horror before he dated raven but when they become together he actually like it more
-they actually prefer horror movies than romantic movies
-they get akward to each other when they watch romantic movie
-they still don't know if when they're gonna tell their parents or the whole school about them dating
-The Evil Queen actually agreed and supported at their relationship (at first very scratchy about it but then notice Raven actually have the same type as her when they are in school and eventually started accepting dexter)
-Ravens mother was the first one (in their parents) to know that dexter and raven are dating
-Raven actually tells dexter about how she figured out that he's the one who wrote the letter and apologies for not figuring it out earlier and how she thought dexter like cupid because of the true heart day dance
-Dexter becomes a little more flirty when he's alone with Raven
-Raven actually thought that dexter is pretty cute when he acts all dorky and stuff
-they are actually together therapies
Oki thats all for now ig i might edit this post and add some but for now that's alr

Here are my two favourite jerejean fics as well as other favourites of mine, all in no particular order!
My two all time fav jerejean fics
Chasing the Night to See the Stars
Jean Moreau comes to the Trojans a broken man. The Trojans, for their part, decide that broken does not mean unlovable.
I have so much to say about this fic, I almost added screenshots of the notes I took while reading (seriously I genuinely had to hold myself back 😭)
Like coach Rhemann? The books? And Galaxy's watch? How am I ever supposed to move on from this.
Sixteen hours
started out with a kiss, how did it end up like this (affectionate)
Jean and Jeremy secretly start dating in their final year at USC.
I don't even know how to describe this fic. Their love is just so delicate and gentle and caring and soft and everything.
The ski trip actually owns my heart.
Other favs
A Little Illumination
Jean's a lonely firefighter, and Jeremy teaches kindergarten. Everyone learns something about themselves.
The Care and Keeping of Jean Moreau
Don’t panic. Call Kevin Day.
Jean has always been something of a black box. Whereas Riko Moriyama and Kevin Day spent so much of their childhoods at Evermore in the spotlight, the details of Jean Moreau’s personal life have been kept largely in the dark. In post-game interviews, he’s always blended into the monolith of Ravens standing behind Riko. But until Kevin called a couple weeks ago, you thought you at least had a general impression of Jean Moreau: an absolute nightmare of a backliner, with the ruthless ambition and arrogance expected of any Raven — especially one marked for Riko’s so-called Perfect Court.
The person waiting for you in baggage claim at LAX is like someone else entirely.
Do’s and don’ts for rehabilitating an ex-Raven, by Jeremy Knox.
love looks better in colour
"Colours, like features, follow the changes of the emotions."
Jeremy Knox is twelve years old when his soulmark appears. Nothing after that is easy.
a bicycle made for two (or three)
The other hindrance was due to the fact that Santa had been very generous this year, which left Jean standing on a patch of sidewalk he’d kicked clear himself, holding his four year old daughter’s hand and wondering how he was going to get all of their stuff plus the Pink Unicorn Princess Dream House up four flights of stairs without something breaking.
Golden State
"Yeah … about that …" Jean is glaring down at his phone like it is covered in slugs, lips curled downwards. "Kevin texted. He is bringing Neil Josten with him."
"What?" Jeremy blinks, taken aback. "Why?"
Jean shrugs, shoulders stiff. "He didn’t say. Just ..." he hands his phone over, opened to a thread of messages. The last one is from an hour earlier. Jean had asked about the time Kevin’s flight comes in, the answer is a curt
Saturday, 2.30pm. Neil is coming too.
Or, Two ex-Ravens, a Fox and a Trojan meet up for Vacation. They have a lot of things to work through, but maybe it will turn out better than they expect.
Becoming A Sugar Baby To The Husband Of My All-Time Favorite Exy Player?!??
Jeremy Knox, otherwise known as… Jean Moreau’s accidental sugar baby?
After sustaining an injury on the court, Jeremy opts to take a semester break to studying abroad in France. There, he’s taken under the wing of Jean Moreau, otherwise known as exy star Kevin Day’s best-kept secret: his husband.
Sooo this is actually kerejean but I couldn't resist adding it on :)

Hello! I love your writing and I’ve seen some requests you’ve wrote for about people’s job and Morpheus’ reaction to them. How do you think he would react or be with when it comes to someone who teaches? I’m a special education kindergarten teacher myself, and I work my contract hours plus practically all night all week long (including weekends) to make sure my kiddos have what they need and to give them all my support, but sometimes I feel like I’m still not giving them enough. I want to be the best teacher I can be for them, because they deserve the best. If I can make a request, could it be where Morpheus maybe gets the reader to slow down a bit and reassures them that they are doing all they can?
A side thought- Would he also even check in at the school through Matthew to be sure the reader isn’t overdoing it at the school and working too hard at their desk after school?
Sorry to fill up your inbox with this long piece, and I hope you have an awesome day 😁.
Tumblr media
Dude yes hell yes I fucking adore all of this! And I know you are doing you’re absolute best and your kiddos love you 🥰
Matthew swooped down onto a small ledge of a brick building, peering into the window. Desks were clustered into groups while children happily chatted. It seemed like there was a creative project going on, something dealing with paper plates, googly eyes, and some paint.
It was something Matthew remembered you working on the weekend prior. He had visited you, only for you to rush out to buy the supplies and ensure the paper animals were easy to follow along.
“They look exhausted.”
Dream’s voice hummed in Matthew’s head. The raven nodded, agreeing with a small frown.
Despite your smiles, despite your cheery voice as you talked with the children, despite your well put together outfit, you still looked utterly exhausted. The bags under your eyes seemed to have deepened since the last time the raven had seen you.
Dream sighed as he watched you through Matthew’s eyes. “Watch over them for the time being, I will speak with them later.”
“Will do, boss.”
Hours later in the comfort of your home, you flopped down into your bed. You were thankfully for the weekend, if only for a moment. Your mind instantly thought of papers to grade, and other potential projects you wished to try with your wonderful students.
You groaned, burying your face into the pillow.
Later, let’s think about that later.
A weight dipped in the bed beside you. Normally, one would react with surprise. Yet, exhausted and already knowing who was surprise guest, you only lazily turned your head to see Dream. He offered a small smile as he ran his knuckles over your cheek.
“You look tired, my love,” he whispered.
“I am,” you mumbled, closing your eyes. His feathery touch was welcomed.
“Perhaps you should relax, and slow down. You do too much.”
You lightly shook your head. “I can’t, the kids need me and deserve the best.”
“And they are receiving the best, but you mustn’t run yourself into the ground to do so.”
You opened your eyes with a slight pout. He chuckled.
“Then see it this way, if you overwork yourself you will not be giving your best to the children.”
Your pout deepened into a frown. You hated that he was right.
“I … I just want to make sure I can give them the world, to give them everything they need to keep going,” you whispered in a dejected tone.
“And as I said, you are. You do far more, you go above and beyond anyone, I only wish you would care for yourself as you care for your children.”
You sighed.
“If you won’t take care of yourself, then let me.”
Your heart skipped at his offer and a smile tugged on your lips. “Oh, really?”
Dream hummed, “Yes, just allow me this weekend. Let me do what I must to care for you so you may be ready come Monday.”
“But -“
“I assure you, anything you need to get done will be done. Just give me but a moment of your time.”
You weighed the pros and cons. But, given your already exhaustive state, being pampered and adored sounded wonderful.
“Okay, you win.”
Dream smiled softly. He bent down, kissing your forehead. A sprinkling of sand danced before yours eyes. Your eyes began to flutter close.
“Then first you must rest,” Dream’s voice echoed around you. “I will meet you in the Dreaming, my love.”
A small smile lingered on your lips as you drifted off. “I love you,” you mumbled.
“And I love you,” he whispered into your ear.
It was the last thing you heard before entering the Dreaming, and it was the one sentiment Dream reminded you this weekend - his absolute and unabashed love for you.

"The one that got away" Enzo Vogrincic x fem! reader
Tumblr media
A/N: Hi! this is the first thing I’ve written in so long, so please be nice. If you have any constructive criticism it’s always welcomed, if it comes from love and respect. I really hope you like this, it’s inspired in kind of a mashup between “The one that got away” by Katy Perry and “Bride or groom” by India Parkman. it’s also written in a third person POV.
Warnings: Basically Angst, all angst, mild drinking. Whatever is in italics is thoughts.
Word Count: 1.6K
The one where reader never spoke up for her love towards Enzo
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It had always been them two against the world, ever since kindergarten when Y/N being the bubbly extroverted redhead girl she had always been, all but adopted sweet shy Enzo, since day one they had been inseparable. Y/N's mom even started calling them June and Johny as they became teenagers, always up to some innocent mischief -from stealing the leftover vodka from the liquor cabinet to grabbing their parents car keys in the night to go take a drive around-.
It had been so gradually that she had fallen for Enzo that Y/N couldn’t pin point the exact moment, maybe it was after the redhead called him crying at 2 in the morning because that douchebag boyfriend of hers broke it off at 15, or when he ran to the store for the first time to get her tampons cause she had ran out on a Sunday afternoon, and now, here they were.
“Last day of summer” Y/N sighed looking off into the sunset, while she sat beside the raven haired guy on her parents house roof like they always did “who knew highschool would come and go so fast”.
“And you are abandoning me, breaking a 15 year old promise to never leave me alone…” Enzo retorted in an overly dramatic way just to make his best friend laugh,“I always knew you would leave though, that I would have to face this horrible world alone” and laugh she did while rolling her eyes nudging his side playfully.
“Not my fault you’re bound to be the next big screen hearthrob, and I need to go off to college, not all of us are made for stardom”, she absentmindedly passed the bottle to him before turning slightly to look at that beautiful face she had grown to love, Y/N bit the inside of her lip, once again arguing with herself trying to decide if she should tell him she loved him or not - come on Y/N don’t be such a fucking coward, he’s right here, tell him-, she opened her mouth and took a deep breath she was going to do it, she finally would, when his phone rang.
“Well, that’s me, my brother’s downstairs” he huffed standing up placing a kiss on the top of Y/Ns head “see you later fireball” he chuckled as he got off the roof carefully, the nickname he had given his friend when they were kids still made him laugh to this day, the girl hummed nodding and watched him leave.
~~~~~
Life got busy, and they saw eachother less and less with every passing year. Not that anything changed when they did get to hang out, some things never change -how handsome Enzo was, or how much Y/N loved him for example- their friendship was the exact same that it had always been.
Y/N tapped her fingers anxiously on the table in the corner of the cafe where they had agreed to meet, five years had gone by and the freckled face woman still felt the same butterflies in her stomach when she was seeing him -he lived in Madrid fulltime now it made it easier for work and she was still back in Montevideo, she was working in a big time law firm, everyone knew she was gonna be a lawyer since forever, always had an argument for everything-. She looked at her phone again and sighed, he was already fifteen minutes late, he never was, she thought maybe this time, life had gotten too busy -he’s clearly not coming, don’t blame him though, he must be so busy- she thought to herself, as she was gathering her stuff to get up, she felt his hand on her shoulder and his usual kiss on the top of her head.
“Sorry fiery, I’m so late, parking in Madrid” he laughed- that oh so enchanting sound that always made her heart skip a beat-, as he sat down across from his lifelong friend. She smiled, everything was forgiven as soon as he looked at her with those dark eyes of his.
“Thought fame had finally gotten to you and you weren’t coming” she pouted while setting her phone back down, she looked at Enzo’s face, something was different, she could tell, something had been different for a bit now, and the change of scenery did nothing to apeace her mind. He rolled his eyes with a warm smile plastered on his face.
“I would never miss the chance to see my best friend are you crazy?” he smiled at the waiter as he brought over the coffee he had ordered on his way in. He took to stirring the sugar in it for way too long, trying to find the words of what he needed to tell Y/N, she looked at him, a tilt in her head, there was something wrong, she could tell, she knew him too well.
“spill it” she said keeping her eyes glued on him he chuckled “you know me to well Y/N/N” he looked up and smiled at her -here goes nothing- he thought.
“I’ve met someone… well…more than met, I have a girlfriend, her name is Marina” he smiled at the mention of her name, Y/N gulped, and forced a smile on her face- she was dying inside, but she would never let it show, not to him, not when he looked this happy. “We met a few months ago, through some mutual friends, she’s a doctor, you will love her. She loves cats and painting, just like you, I can’t wait for you to meet her” he kept rambling on about Marina, he couldn’t help himself, she was the best woman to ever walk this earth besides from Y/N, he KNEW they would get along well- he wanted them to at least, they’re both too important to him in one way or another.
Crap, you’re an idiot, you’re a fucking idiot she kept repeating to herself, Y/N felt her heart sink to the bottom of her stomach, each word her friend said taking it a bit lower, if she had only been braver on that roof when she had the chance- Smile Y/N- she reminded herself, her friend- that word stinging more than it had ever done now- was happy and that was the most important part…right? right.
And he had been right, Y/N eventually met Marina, and she was a sweetheart, and she loved Enzo, it showed, Y/N knew by the way the blonde looked at him that she loved him, because it was the same way she looked at him.
~~~~~
Y/N would be lying to herself if she said she never wished Enzo and Marina broke up, she never lost that hope, relationships not always worked out…hers didn’t at least. But they hadn’t, they seemed to be the perfect power couple, so when her Johny had told her they were getting married and  asked her to be his best woman, she couldn’t say no, she had to be honest, another five years had gone by and the sinking feeling in her gut had never left, it was there every time she saw a picture on his instagram of them two, it got worse every time one of her relationships failed, it just never left.
The twenty-eight year old, fearless woman, who no one wanted to come across in court, somehow felt small and fragile while she looked at herself in the mirror and took a deep breath forcing a smile on her face while finishing her make-up “okay, listen up you”- she gave her reflection a peptalk while she got ready- “you had your chance, you were too scared to take it, it was there and you let it slip away, you have no right to ruin his happiness you’re gonna stand there, you’re gonna be the friend Enzo needs, and you’re gonna tough it out”, the last part coming out shaky as she suppressed a sob, she downed the last of her wine glass and walked out.
She knocked on his door “En, you ready?” she said slightly opening it, just enough to see the most handsome man she had ever seen standing there fidgeting with his bowtie, she laughed and walked in “come’ere, let me help” she turned him around and fixed it for him “there, handsome as ever my dear Johny” she smiled softly looking at him.
“I’m ready Junie” he smiled a warm, soft smile at her walking out and making their way to the gardens where the ceremony would take place.
As she walked down the aisle, Y/N couldn’t help but think what would have happened if she had been braver that hot day of summer ten years ago- if you had only said something, if you had spoken when you opened your mouth- she reprimanded herself as she walked and took her place beside the love of her life, not in the way she would have wanted, not in the way she still dreamt of every so often, but in the way she could.
When the music started and Marina made her way out, that’s when she finally understood, it didn’t matter what she felt, she could wonder all her life what would have happened if -she probably would if she was honest with herself for once- what would have happened if she’d only been braver, would she be the one walking down the aisle to meet the man she had loved for over ten years, the man she still loved to that day? that was something that she would never know, for now, she could only look at the Johny to her June, and fake the brightest smile as the love of her life, married the love of his.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A/N: aaarrghhh I’m so sorry about ending it on a down note, it just didn’t feel right to turn it all around, and it being inspired in those songs, wasn’t a happy ending, don’t hate me! please?

Night Raven Kindergarten chapter 21 | Rated: G...PG for language? CW: none | art by aedilynn AO3 link to chapter
Story summary: Join Night Raven Academy's kindergarteners on their adventures! Kindergarten teachers Trey and Cater try to survive the school year with this year's new roster of children that come with complicated parents.
excerpt of chapter below!
“Damn it,” Vil growled, glaring out the glass doors. “It’s been nearly fifteen minutes. I should be out there. How could I trust some potato to find my son?”
“Okay, please don’t call my coworker a potato,” Trey said. “And Cater was right that it’s best for you to wait here. You’re–”
“I know. I–” Vil touched his neck again, voice pained, and for more than once in his life, cursed his public status.
Trey wordlessly pushed a nearby chair with his foot. Vil eyed it for a moment before he finally staggered forward and slumped onto the seat. He leaned forward on the table, covering his face with a slender hand.
“Damn it,” Vil repeated softly, eyes closing. “Did he hate me that much to run away?”
Trey stayed silent out of compassion. He thought back to just nearly fifteen minutes ago, gaze straying to a nearby wall clock that ticked constantly in the silence.
“He’s not in the nap room nor in any closet. Hallways are clear. He must have left through the elementary school door,” Trey concluded coming out from the nap room, unsettled. “I’ll go report this to Crowley and alert security.”
Without speaking a word, Vil whipped around and grabbed his keys. He strode swiftly towards the front doors. He’d barely reached them, however, before Cater grabbed him roughly by the arm.
“Vil, hold on! You should wait here,” Cater said urgently. “I’ll go look for him.”
Vil ripped his arm out of Cater’s grasp. “You must be absolutely delusional if you think you can stop me from going out and finding my son!”
“Think about who you are!” Cater nearly shouted. Ignoring Vil’s warning glare, he grabbed Vil’s shoulders and pulled him closer. “You’re Vil Schoenheit. Can you imagine what would happen if you went to the streets publicly, looking for your son? Paparazzi would be there in an instant. It’d be impossible to find Epel.”
“Cater’s right,” Trey said behind Cater. “If news spread to the public that Epel was missing, he might be in even more danger. You also don’t live in this neighborhood. Cater does. You should stay here and call your contacts, Vil.”
Vil grit his teeth. He appeared ready to knock Cater to the ground (and Cater wouldn’t be surprised if he was able to). But in the next moment, a hand reached up to grab Cater’s wrist instead.
“Find my son,” Vil said hoarsely. “If I don’t hear back in twenty minutes, I will go out there myself, publicity be damned.”
Cater nodded. He hastily grabbed his coat and keys and said behind his shoulder, “Trey has my personal cell. I’ll canvas the immediate area first. He couldn’t have gotten far!”

the babysitter
Clarke screws up, now her mom doesn’t trust her to watch her little sister on her own. Abby’s solution is to hire a babysitter, who just happens to be the girl Clarke has been crushing on for as long as she can remember.
Read on ao3
Chapter One
“I don’t need a babysitter,” Clarke protested, stalking after her mother into the kitchen. She had just informed her that someone would be coming over the following night to keep an eye on her and her sister while their mom was at work. “I am perfectly capable of being able to watch Madi by myself,”
Abby ignored her daughter’s complaining, making her way to the pantry to start prepping dinner. “Your sister begs to differ, and so do I. Considering I found her in the front yard last week in her pajamas while you were passed out drunk with your friends in the basement,” Abby scolded, giving the blonde a pointed look. “You’re lucky it’s only a babysitter and not Grandma,”
Clarke shrank back slightly, but she wasn’t going to give up. “It’s embarrassing. She probably goes to my school. On Monday everyone in the junior class will know that Clarke Griffin needs a babysitter. Do you know what that would do to me?”
“You’re being dramatic,” Abby rolled her eyes. “And she does go to your school,” she added quietly.
“Mom,” Clarke groaned. She stomped her foot like a child, frustrated and annoyed that her mom didn’t trust her with something as simple as watching an eleven year old. “What can I do to make this not happen?”
“There’s nothing you can do,” Abby sighed. “Madi was the one who asked for a babysitter,”
“She did?” Clarke was taken aback. “Why did she do that?”
“Because she wants to have a responsible adult in the house while I’m away, and I agree with her,”
“That traitor,”
“Careful, Clarke. You’re already grounded,” Abby reminded her. Clarke scowled, crossing her arms.
“Well, at least tell me her name,” Clarke huffed, “If I’m going to have to bribe her to keep my secrets, I may as well know,”
“Anya,”
Anya.
That couldn’t be Anya Woods, could it?
“It totally is,” Raven teased at lunch the next day. “Anya Woods, scary soccer captain and big sister to the love of your life. She’s your babysitter,”
“Shut up,” Clarke grumbled, pushing her food around on her plate. She was slumped in her chair, defeated since her mother revealed who was going to be her, or Madi’s, babysitter. “Lexa is not the love of my life,”
“No, she’s just the girl you’ve been pining after since kindergarten, yet don’t have the guts to talk to,”
“I’ve talked to her,” Clarke countered. “She’s in my Calculus class, I sit behind her. We talk everyday,”
“Asking her for a pencil sharpener doesn’t count as talking,”
“Says you,” Clarke snapped, crossing her arms. Let her have her secret unobtainable crush in peace.
Raven smirked, her friend’s attitude amusing her. She couldn’t blame her, though. The Woods sisters were sort of legends at Polis. As soccer co-captains the two of them led their team to the state championships, putting them at the top of the social hierarchy. Clarke and her friends were popular as well, but they regrettably ran in different circles, hardly overlapping except for the few classes they shared.
“Lay off her, Raven. It’s not like you don’t drool over Anya. And you haven’t even had a conversation with her,” Octavia pointed out, causing Raven to stick her tongue out at her. “Clarke‘s at least has somewhat of a footing with Lexa,”
“We go way back,” Clarke argued.
“That one kiss in kindergarten doesn’t count-“
“Shut up.” Clarke grumbled. Yes it did, it was in fact her bisexual awakening at mere five years old. “Anya isn’t that unusual of a name. It’s probably not her,”
“Well let’s ask,”
“What are you-“
Raven was up in a flash, giving her friends one last smirk before making a beeline towards Anya’s lunch table. Clarke watched in horror as she sat down across from Anya and Lexa, giving the sisters a wide smile. The two of them looked at her confused, Anya not recognizing her and Lexa wondering why someone she hardly knows is smiling at her like that.
Raven starts speaking to them, Clarke seeing Anya nod at Raven’s question. She felt her heart drop at the confirmation, the trio looking over at her lunch table as Raven pointed her out. Clarke felt her face flush with embarrassment as she held her hand up half heartedly, giving a pathetic wave.
Lexa had a look of puzzlement on her face, returning the wave politely. Clarke watched as she turned back to Raven and Anya, Raven chatting excitedly before making her way back over to the table.
“So it turns out Anya Woods is your babysitter,” she gloated. “I made sure to tell her that you are Madi are darling angels who never misbehave,”
“I hate you,”
“Relax, I didn’t say that. But she is your babysitter. She’ll be there at seven, so I’ll be there at, say, seven fifteen?”
“You’re not coming over and embarrassing me further. Plus, I’m grounded, remember? Thanks to your brilliant idea of getting wasted last week,”
“I happen to remember you happily going along with it,”
“Yeah, well, I’m full of regrets,”
//
Lexa is doing homework in her and Anya’s shared room when her sister walks in, sitting on the edge of the bed. “I got a last minute invite practice with the Polis U soccer team,”
“Are you serious?” Lexa exclaimed, shutting her textbook loudly and swiveling her chair to face her. “That’s amazing! When?”
“Tonight at seven,” Lexa frowns.
“Aren’t you supposed to be babysitting Madi Griffin then?” she asks.
“Yeah but… I can’t pass up on this opportunity, Lexa. This could lead to a spot on the team and a full scholarship. We both know how much that would help out Dad,”
“So you’re bailing?” Lexa gawked, watching her sister gather her hair into a high bun before moving to her closet to find an outfit.
“I’m not bailing, I’m simply replacing myself,” Anya said, back turned towards Lexa as she rummaged through her closet. She purposefully did not face her sister as she said this.
“With who?”
“Funny you should ask…”
“Oh no,” Lexa knew where Anya was going with this. “You’re not doing this to me,”
“Come on, Lex! How long have you liked this girl? Literally over a decade. And this is the perfect opportunity to get to know her better, it’s basically the premise of a porno. Plus it would really help me out, please?”
Lexa rolled her eyes, jaw set as her mind raced with the possibilities of what could happen tonight. Chances are she would make a fool of herself, she was never able to function properly around pretty girls. Especially ones she kissed once when she was five.
“Clarke probably won’t even come out of her room. You’ll just be with Madi. You can handle her, can’t you?”
“Of course I can, she’s nine,” Lexa rolled her eyes. “But I don’t want to,”
“Lexa. What’s with it with Clarke Griffin? Usually around girls you’re all game, but with her you become this awkward bumbling mess. It’s so unlike you,”
“Clarke is special,” Lexa said softly. “She’s not just some girl. Not to me,”
“Right. She was the girl. The one who made you realize your raging lesbianism,” Anya smirked, pulling an athletic shirt over her head. “Yet you haven’t made a move in twelve years,”
“She’s out of my league,” Lexa shrugged. “I’ve accepted it. Plus we probably have nothing in common,”
“You both like each other. You have that in common,”
“Shut up. She does not like me,”
“Then go and find out,” Anya grabs her soccer bag out of the closet. “Are you going to make me say please?”
“It wouldn’t hurt,”
“So you’ll do it?”
“I want to hear you say ‘please’ first,”
Anya rolled her eyes. “You’re impossible. I’ll text you the Griffin’s address from my car. They’re expecting you at seven, so get there around six fifty. Thank you so much, Lex,”
She leaves in a hurry before Lexa could protest, saluting her sister as she walks out the door. Lexa sighs, spinning around in her chair as she thinks about what she had gotten herself into.
//
Clarke’s sitting on her couch with Madi, a bowl of popcorn mixed with M&M’s between them as they watched episodes of Grace and Frankie.
Abby comes into the room dressed in her scrubs, looking down at her phone. “Anya will be here any minute. I left money on the counter for pizza, and there’s stuff in the pantry to make cookies if you get bored,”
She suddenly whips her head towards the TV when she hears Jane Fonda yell ’fuck!’
“What are you watching?” she asked sharply, folding her arms together as gave her older daughter a pointed look.
“It’s fine, Madi’s old enough,” Clarke rolled her eyes, popping an M&M in her mouth.
“She’s nine, Clarke!”
“Almost ten,” said Madi.
“There’s nothing bad in this show,” Clarke shrugs, just as Lily Tomlin’s character lights up a joint onscreen. Clarke frowned. Perfect timing. “Besides that,”
“This is why mom doesn’t trust you enough to watch me alone,” Madi gloats. “Which is why we need a babysitter.” Clarke glares at her.
“Don’t give her that look, Clarke. She’s right,” Abby placed her hands on her hips. “Turn it off,”
Clarke dramatically sighs. “Fine, I’ll turn on She Ra. Or is Madi too young for that, too?”
Abby doesn’t answer her sarcastic remark because the doorbell decides to ring at that moment. She just shakes her head sternly at Clarke and goes to greet the babysitter.
“You must be Anya,” Clarke heard her mom say when she answers the door. She slumped down on the couch, sighing dramatically as Madi snickered next to her.
“Actually, no,” Clarke froze. She knew that voice. Crap. “She had something come up, so she sent me instead. I hope that’s okay. I’m Lexa,”

A cheerful young woman who could be described as the embodiment of the sun, though a bit airheaded, she can read rooms, body language and social cues in general. Loves putting her girlfriend's hair in ponytails reminiscent of her own ponytails.
Favorite Food: Sweets
Least Favorite Food: Spicy Food and Broccoli
Height: 5'5 (165 cm).
Hobby: Dancing
Talent: Baking
Fact About Her Character: Her hair looking similar to Miku is on purpose since she is a Miku fan (and finds the fact that a singer like her isn't even a real person extremely interesting)
Favorite Color: Blue
Disorder(s): Autism, BPD, Dyscalculia.
Their Relationship Story: They met in kindergarten when Akiyama was getting bullied by random students, Akahana later put a stop to this, taking care of and checking on Akiyama before telling a staff member. The two began talking from there, and both of them formed a precious bond and close friendship. Their relationship only started blossoming romantic feelings when the two were still in middle school, they wondered why they felt so strongly for each other, and not in a way normal girls experienced while being friends. They also constantly rejected men due to the fact they never felt attraction to men and only ever felt attraction to each other, which the two hadn't know by that time. It finally at the night before graduation of high school that Akahana made the first move, confessing to Akiyama. And to her surprise, the latter felt the same, but she was just glad to have her crush like her back. When they enrolled into Night Raven College, the two of them made sure that they got into the same dorm; Pomefiore. And, they luckily did.
Their tropes: Opposites Attract, Hopelessly Devoted to You, Sun and Moon Lesbian.
