Since I did a mini review for the og, I thought I'd do a quick review for the new edition too!

Firstly, I really enjoyed xyx's route. I also wasn't expecting him to look/sound like that either lol. His route was actually sweet and relatable. And I had a lot of fun!

I also enjoyed that they added more information and fanart for Blooming Panic (the webseries) because I actually like the concept of Lola and the gang for what little we see of them!

nighowl and NakedToast also got more content for their route! Even though it wasn't a lot, I think it certainly helped in nightowl's case since I personally had a lot of gripes with him as a character when I first played ajsjs (sorry nightowl fans).

Honestly all the editions were nice! The pronoun options, the new music, the side characters getting the occasional voiced line, the new GUI, it was all well done! They did /slightly/ change/update the art style, which may bother some, but I like both styles equally!

Overall, I loved this new edition just as much, if not more, than the first one! It was nice to get this early since I was expecting it to come out 2022! It was like an early xmas gift!

We the Wanders

Having become too sophisticated to live in tents, traveling were there is food and water and the promise of a future with all our possessions on our backs.  We replaced our tent stakes with blocks of concrete, our tarps with wood and tar.  Our things are too many to carry on our backs so we buy things to put our things in.  The promise of a future is no longer our promise but a promise we bought from someone else.  A once-in-a-lifetime deal we saw on QVC while trying to sleep.  We no longer have to worry about sleep either.  There is a pill for that.  Besides to get by in this world there is no time for sleep.  Surrounded by people but we don’t know anyone.  We once wandered from place to place, now we wander from purchase to purchase.

Night-owls, crying in the night.

Hide and seekers.  Always eluding our own discovery because we have fallen in love with hiding.

Come out, come out wherever you are.

My current WIP, A Certain Vampirate Spaceship, is a Sci-fi novel about a ragtag team of vampires who attack a dreadnaught for gold and to teach a lesson to the king. “--The Hunt had begun. Ammo made straight for the center of the ship, reasoning that the soldiers would find him better there. On his way, he passed six chumps who took one look at him bounding forcefully down the hallway and balked. He let them live. Ammo had developed a sense of pride since he joined Abigor on the Nighowl. Now he only killed men. In front of him, a youth stood with his gun out.--”

How would nighowl react to mc having similar experiences w/their family like his own?

I think someone like that would fit really well with owl. They could understand him in a way a lot of people aren't able to, and see his outbursts in a similar light to their own -- or if they don't have outbursts, they would at least understand the emotions behind them. Nightowl wouldnt be overly emotional about someone sharing his experiences, but he would mellow out a bit around you. He wouldn't feel like he has to be energetic or constantly pleasing people to be loved. You get it. You let him relax.
