I went outside yesterday, I walked around in the rain -- let my socks get wet

I always hated that feeling but that day I didn't notice, my mind was where you were

Walked into a cafe and sat down, offended that no stranger's face took on your familiar shape

No strong bows over deep eyes, no one with that cloudy look telling me there was more going on in there than I would ever know

I look down and take pleasure in destroying the latte art that was presented to me

It will never be beautiful again

Because I work at a college I'm allowed to take a few classes for free, but I still had to "apply" to come back to school, and they never told me I was accepted, I just started receiving the emails that students get so I went and checked online and here it is, I am registered! I'm super happy though slightly annoyed they didn't even send back an "ok, you're chill."

I'm so excited, though, to be back in a classroom learning the kind of the things I want to.

I keep getting so depressed at work, and it sucks because I don't hate my job but just something about it and the people there just put me in the worst mood which I deal with by feeling bad about myself and everything in my life. :/

My horoscopes have been really intense the past few days.

So I just left my office to go grab coffee and on the way I saw someone I know with their pug and they offered me chocolate and so I just pet a pug and got chocolate and hella people complemented my outfit and my bestie in Nepal messaged me because technology is amazing and I love today so far.
