"lazy days"
"a Zion kuwonu fanfiction"
it was a Saturday you and zion were laying in bed fast asleep, you woke up first you slid out of his arms so he wouldn't wake up when you slid out he turned over, so you walked to the bathroom to do your daily skin routine when just as your doing your last step the face mask zion had woken up he walked into the bathroom with a groggy sleepy voice he said "morning mamas" as he put his big arms around your waist as he pecked you cheek. "hey baby" you said picking up your charcoal face mask container "what's that y/n" "oh this" you say as you point to the container "its just face mask" "oooh can I try on mamas" "really you want to try one of these" "yes especially with my baby" he says spinning you around so your facing him. " okay" "yesss" he says exited you swear you cant with this boy sometimes. so you get the container you start putting it on his face slowly, he starts to giggle "what's so funny" you say "nothin y/n its just how come you have never done this with be before tbh its kind of romantic" you look at him with a grin "I don't know zion I just didn't think it was your type thing you know" you say still putting the mask on his face "well know you know...hey are you finished yet this is taking to long" "yes now I'm done" you say rolling your eyes "ok I'm gonna do mine now" you say, before putting you hand in the container zion stops you " I wanna do it" zion says with a grin. "ok" you say, so he puts his hand in the container and starts so put it on your face, in-between putting on you face he gave you little pecks with made you smile which made his heart melt. after putting on the mask you had to leave it on for 5min zion said "y/n" you said "yes bub" he said "I wanna make this moment last so can I take a photo of us two just so I can remember this" "omg of course' so zion got his phone and took the picture and he posted it on Instagram, you got an alert on your phone it was from Instagram so you clicked on it, it was the picture zion had took with your facemask the caption said "my baby and I ,love her so much" zion had noticed what you were looking at when you look up at him he smiled so you hugged him and said "i love you too baby" you gave him a kiss it was kind of long but when you stopped he said, "hey lets wash these mask off first and then get down to business" he said with a smirk "ZION" you say "what just sayin" "your adorable" you say.
hi tell me what you thing of this feel free to give me some feedback love yall 😊💖

Nick stewing with animosity and y/n wailing in guilt. The fight they had earlier surely shouldn't have happened but it did. Pent up anger and frustration coming from both parties.
Going to parties was never y/n’s commodity at least gigantic parties, the number of people that we're encircling this house compelled it to feel like a nightclub. It made her head whirl. Here she was slumping on the couch with a cup of fruit punch in her hand, she didn't dance much chiefly cause she wasn't the type to have so much scrutiny on her, almost made her skin trudge just thinking about it. Darting to her right her super prominent and attractive boyfriend Nick was talking to a glorious woman. Y/n never minded who he was friends with nor did she sustenance to know where he was twenty-four-seven but he still told her all those things anyhow.
═════°∴,*⋅✲══❏══✲⋅*,∴°═════
Minutes turned into hours. And here she was reclining on the couch watching nick play pool with his friends, recall earlier she didn't care for the young woman being friendly to nick, now it was evolving a dilemma. Her fingers disclosing any excuse to touch him, laughing and making sexual jokes with him she was the definition of “pick me” y/n swirled her eyes before clenching another cup of fruit punch and concealing away from all the noise. Suffering an impulse of uncertainty she swung on the outdoor bench, amassing her thoughts.
The what-ifs commenced fondling in her mind. A few more hours nick ultimately discovered she wasn't in the spot he left her, allotting the girl his drink he speeds off looking for her. Frantically he peeps in every room only to find her on the patio’s swing plucking petals off a flower stopping in front of her his hands caress her thighs, she could feel how unsteady his pulse was against her chill skin he lets out a solace sigh “I found you” he says more to himself than her.
“Hm, thought I went home with another man?” y/n snarled her covetousness, nick scoffs with an acidic comment “yeah as if, find someone in this house that could ever harmonize your energy or worth, cmon let's go I know you're tired” he stands up, brandishing her purse in his left hand to grab her hand with his right.
“I guess you found a girl who matches my energy” the puzzle fractions coming together in his brain she was desirous, even though nick loved to see her jealous side but her sour tongue always triggered his nominal side.
And he knew an argument was going to blow up in his face. “Listen, mamas, I'm not going to argue with you right now so I'm going to say this just once” passionately he clasped her face raising her head to look at him “she's just a friend, I don't have sentiments for her, and I never will okay? Now let's go beautiful” seizing her hand he lifted her from the seat. But y/n felt as if he was averting the situation.
“Why don't you take me seriously? every time we have a conversation about how some of these women are all upon you, you give me modest answers like you're brushing me off, do you not notice what they're doing?” y/n calmly clarified nick runs his hands through his hair, cradling every sly comment he wants to let out, but he would never disdain her.
“What else am I supposed to say y/n? It's as simple as that I don't fucking like them the way your brain believes I do, and if I were to tell them ‘aye tell my girlfriend were not dating’ do you know how bad that'll make you look baby?” they stood there for a moment looking into each others eyes. The eyes of two different viewpoints and emotions.
Y/n knew he was right. The last sentence making her reconsider her choice of action. It would paint her out to be the as society calls it ‘insecure girlfriend’ , and people will start to think he can't have girl friends but a piece of her mind wondered why it kept happening once is a coincidence but multiple times, her mind thought the worst.
“Then why does it keep happening nick? Every fucking time you get a girl friend it's always some bullshit, then you tell me I'm bugging out or I'm jumping to conclusions how can I not? Then you laugh and think everything's a joke it's not!” y/n started screaming at the end of her sentence making nick chuckle
Y/n pushed him slightly by the shoulders “see what I mean?!” nick grabs her wrists before crashing her body into his “you are jumping to conclusions sweetheart, I can't control what the fuck they feel, what you think I have telekinesis or something? , I can't tell them they can't have a crush on me or too not fucking fall in love with me as if I have control over that!” nick was now yelling back making y/n flinch in his embrace.
“Like I fucking said before, I'm not in love with them, and I've told them I have a girlfriend that is the end okay?” “and I would never lay my hand in you in that matter mamas, Now let's go home in fucking hungry and exhausted” nick walks in front of her, her heels now carving a dent in her foot, she didn't mean to walk slow and further piss him off, but her foot was genuinely hurting, when he turned around she was a large distance away from him. Nick growled as he went back to get her from the crowd, a guy walks up to y/n grabbing her wrist, while Nick shoved him off her “I wouldn't try that if I was you, cause right about now I'd break every joint in your body. Don't touch her got it?” his accent overpowering the music, her heart rate sped up knowing this argument wasn't worth it anymore and it shouldn't have been placed in the air anyways.
But she was scared, angered.
═════°∴,*⋅✲══❏══✲⋅*,∴°═════
Leaving no room for him to reply he walks fast dragging her outside, his trip to the car just felt longer in his brain being stopped by so many people as if his anger couldn't get worse, she was there leaning against his car. Y/n scoffed earning a glance from over his shoulder.
“What do you need Blair?” nick gave her a stoic tone, “I need my jacket I left in your car, I couldn't find it anywhere so this was the last place I thought about” y/n grabbed the keys delicately from nicks hand unlocking the door to sit down, she couldn't stand in the heels any longer that was her intentions but nick grabs her by the waist pulling her into him “chill out princess” he lowly spoke into her ear “chill” he repeated. Her body quite literally going limp in his embrace he held her tightly to him. He examined her body to see if she was okay before realizing her foot was hurting.
Blair smirked at y/n feeling accomplished by getting close to nick, Blair never like y/n and vice versa, “look Blair, we may be friends but don't you dare fucking disrespect her you got that? I won't allow it not now and not ever, whatever fantasy you got played out in your head with me keep it there cause it won't be a reality” opening the door for y/n he places his jacket around her shoulders and her purse on her lap. Slamming the door shut he scares both y/n and Blair. “Now get off my car please” nick opens the driver side revving up the engine.
Nick’s hands were white as he gripped the steering wheel, his other hands firmly eloped on her thighs. The guilt was pricking her heart, she looked over at his clenched jawline, the stubbles that caressed his chin. “What’s wrong sweetheart?” He asked softly, his finger caressing her knee. But she felt it was passive aggressive. “I’m sorry” she whispered still glancing at his side profile Nick turned his eyes to her once they reached a red light.
“You’re heard sweetheart, I just need time to calm down okay? , you’re good” gripping her chin in between his fingers he pecked her lips sweetly “okay?” He reassured her Nick didn’t take his eyes off her until she answered “okay.” Nick gave her a soft grin before he turned back to the road, but her heart still felt unsteady. The way she accused him of cheating on multiple equations, just doesn't feel right anymore angry or not she should've trusted and talked to him.
═════°∴,*⋅✲══❏══✲⋅*,∴°═════
Speeding on the highway she bit her lower lip as her body faced the window, his thumb tapping in her thighs as he soothed himself but his grip was still tight. Twenty minutes have passed and she just wanted to cry in her own guilt. “Can you at least yell at me, something you're being too nice towards me and that makes me feel guilty” she mumbled lowly, Nick gets in the right lane to exit the highway looking at the scenery she realized where they were going. To the lake where they had their first date, swimming, and picnic. When they arrived nick parked somewhere secluded the view of the moon made her head race. It was beautiful.
Nick gripped her chin turning it back to him “listen, I'm only being nice because I don't wanna say something I'm going to regret. And nor do you deserve to feel worse than you already feel” nick sighs “but I'm not going to sit here and say I'm not angry about the fight, cause I am I'm beyond pissed, you just don't get it sometimes I fucking love you, I'm with you alright? Like I've said before I can't handle who likes me, but what I can handle is that they won't disrespect you. I'm not going to cheat on you, stop comparing to your ex okay? I'm nothing like him”
Nick looks her dead in the eyes “don't you trust me?” y/n bows her head down “I do, I trust you a lot you know this” nick scoffs “well-baby it surely doesn't feel that way. You constantly accuse me and that's not fair, getting mad at me for something I can't control” his voice was getting tense, she could tell this was building up for so long, Nick never yelled at her if he did it was in a joking matter. “You're right..I’m sorry” y/n wipes her tears away turning her head away from him “it was fucking stupid to even think you would be that type, when your done nothing but treat me heavenly, I need to trust you more, I'm just scared. Really scared”
nick sighs grabbing her face, he really wanted to avoid her crying. Another reason why he didn't want to talk about it right now, she looked too beautiful to be crying right now especially over her feelings she has every right to feel what she does, he would too if he was in her shoes.
“Don’t cry mamas, I don't wanna see you like this, I understand why you would feel that way, you’re not too blame okay?, I understand it takes a while to heal Like I said before you’re heard I hear you Princess you just gotta trust me” Nick kissed her with so much passion, it made her head spin. The feeling in her stomach started to rise specially when his hand gripped her neck. Nick pulled away unbuckling hers and his seatbelt “get in the back” he desperately whispered.
═════°∴,*⋅✲══❏══✲⋅*,∴°═════
Getting in the backseat first, he opened the door to the backseat getting in the seat next to her, going to undo his pants but he grabs her hands placing them on his forearm “Babygirl come sit on my lap, ill take care of you” placing his hand on her head to prevent her from thumping it on the roof. she placed each side of her thighs against his hips. His hands sliding from her neck up to her jawline pulling her down to his lips. The steam from their body heat engulfing each other. His fingertips scanning up her spine made her shiver and hide her face in his neck. Nick smirked learning something new that drove her wild. His lips sticking to her skin earned a soft whimper.
His teasing fingers crawling up her skin the contrast of his cold fingers sketching her warm back until he reached the hooks on her bra detaching them smoothly with one hand. Her breath slips out her lips onto his neck “don't hold your breath dear, can't have you passing out on me” he lifted her dress up to her hips exposing her soaking lingerie to the air. “Beautiful” he mumbled snapping the band against her pelvis bone she whimpered digging her fingers into his shoulder. Unconsciously she was bucking her hips to him wanting to feel some type of friction between them.
“Hm what's that baby girl?” he teased in her ear, “seems like you're trying to tell me something” gripping her ass in his hand he stickers his lips to her neck slowly breaking her into telling him what she really wants, he still couldn't phantom how they've been together for two years and she was still shy around him. But he loved her more as the days passed.
“Hm tell me what you want mamas, maybe I could help you” nick nibbled on her ear as her fingers fiddled with his hair. “I want you..” she weakly stated “in what way, princess?” nick further broke her, “I don't care, I just want you on me, in me I want you nick” nick laid her down on the seat softly pulling her panties down with two fingers “hey” he stated her eyes opened to his brown eyes glimmering at her.
“If you don't want this, we can just watch the stars, mamas” his sincerity made all her doubts erase lately the opinions of her subconscious were getting to her. The brain is indeed a weapon of destruction or elevation. “No, I want this” her hands cupping his jawline, grabbing the back of her knees he angled them towards her chest while his body slinked down to her soaking Arousal but he softly kissed her inner thighs just hovering over her throbbing core.
═════°∴,*⋅✲══❏══✲⋅*,∴°═════
When his fingers ever so slightly caressed her clit her breathing became broken, it's been a while since he last touched her, being away from each other was hard. Between the mini-shows, he was performing at and the pandemic she rarely got to see him as much.
lowering his head, he pokes his tongue out and starts to press against her clit her eyes flutter shut, and her hands reach out to grasp his hair. Pulling at it when he moves his tongue back and forth, stimulating her bud further.
Flattening his tongue, nick starts from the bottom of her entrance and slowly moves upwards moaning into her heated core. Her legs shaking when he reaches her clit again
he spreads her folds, Curling his fingers inside of her he gazes upon her frantic complexion fueling his hunger for her even more, he pumps them. Letting sweet noises ring in his ear. Removing his tongue for a split second his lips attacked her neck giving her wet kisses to further fuel her sensation. “You're so fucking beautiful baby” he purred against her neck.
“Oh fuck!” She moan one hand covered her mouth while the other dug itself into his hair. Pulling at the strands and squeezing his fingers in between her thighs, Slowing his pace down he removed her hands from her mouth.
“Oh no Babygirl we can’t have that” he said referring to the moans she was trying to suppress. “Let me hear those angelic moans sweetheart” holding onto his shoulder she gazed into his eyes before he dipped back into her folds, she bucked her hips up to his lips and He obliges to her command, his tongue still moving at a rapid pace as well as his fingers.
Combing her fingers through his hair she looks down at him seeing her lascivious eyes and his trivial smirk She clutches her legs together, hugging her knees against his head as she came undone on his tongue her toes coiling as she tried to salvaged her breath . He chuckles against her skin, his fingers engulfed in her folds he inserts two fingers inside of her seeing her mouth open agape but she was slient, “aww baby girl you're so beautiful, look at you taking my fingers princess” his palm slapping against her throbbing bud as his fingers curled inside of her walls.
“Pretty baby, moan for me you know I love it” his free hand wrapped around the base of her neck making her look up at him again, the car filled with her juices lapping up and nicks small praise talks. Her legs shaking under his body threatening to close but she knew better than to close them. Nick held her hips down as he worked his fingers deep inside her, curling his fingers and hitting that sweet spot. Splatters started to cover his seats along with his lower half of his clothes, y/n slouching down due to over stimulation. pulling back and then quickly undoing his own buttons. Pushing his jeans and boxers down, a sigh of relief escapes once his clothes are removed from his body.  “I want to make you cum so much today baby, a punishment for that fight from earlier” he slid his cock up and down her folds brushing ever so slightly against her sensitive clit her eyes locked on his as he slowly inserted himself in her.
═════°∴,*⋅✲══❏══✲⋅*,∴°═════
A soft sigh escaping both of their mouths, her nails in his biceps his hands trapping her in as placed them on each side of her head, making out with her passionately he locks the car door as his hips buck slowly into hers her hands moving from his biceps to his jawline Without a second thought, Nick begins to pound into her pulling her earlobes between his lips, the goosebumps of exploration of new waters tonight made her weak for him. Nick always knew how to get her dizzy in the most simplest ways. But also made sure she was enjoying herself, he reached for her ankles pulling her closer to his body preventing her from closing her legs.
His annoyance and love mixing in his hip movements, switching from passionate to dominant. as he angled himself to hit those sweet spots that made His name and praises drool from her mouth. With his free hand, he snakes his way in between her folds again. Slowly rubbing circles in her clit, legs trembling once again. “My needy baby, you wanna come hm?” he asked in her ears, the cries escaping her throat, fumbling to grab something, anything. Wrapping her arms around his neck she held onto him tightly.
“Please, please I wanna come” she begged, Nick, loving the sound of her begging slowed his pace down just to hear her say it again “please what princess?” he smirked against his tepid skin, “Please can I come?” her head bowed in his neck so she could hide from him. But he isn't allowing her to escape from him that easily. Instead, he dipped his lower back into his thrusts. “Oh God..” she commented.
Removing her ankles from his grip, he holstered her wrist with one hand placing them on her stomach. Her eyes opened looking through his damp hair that hooded his lustful eyes. She arched her back sticking her chest up to his chest looking down at her his smirk spreaded “look at you princess taking your punishment so well, you're so beautiful”
An overbearing feeling came over her body was almost too much to bear her walls squeezing around his length as He pounds into her a few more times, inducing the loudest scream she mustered all night, he eyelashes rolling shut but is open just as quick. “Come with me baby girl, come with me” he places his forehead on hers, her knuckles turning white against his back leaving evidence she would alter be embarrassed about later. Her body lifting up to him as they both came together. Her body shaking as he continues to rub her clit getting another orgasm out of her. “Oh fuck” she gasped.
Nick's eyes glimmering at her fucked out form “beautiful” she gave him a weak smile caressing his shoulders noticing all the scratches from her nails. “Don't worry about that mamas” waiting for her nerves to calm down before he pulls out he wipes the beads of sweat away from her forehead kissing the crown of her head. “You know I love you?” he spoke softly, if sound more like a reassurance than a question. “Yeah, and I love you more” y/n smiled, “I'm sorry baby, I should've never accused you” nick’s gaze softened before he pecked her lips “mamas, I told you I don't blame you okay? I just want you to know I love you and only you. No other girl matters to me the way you do okay?” y/n kisses his jawline towards his lips.
“Okay, thank you for loving me despite me being a pain in the ass” she giggled, Nick smiles slowly at her dreamy giggles. “You're just the perfect woman for me, flaws and all”
On the drive home, y/n fell asleep in the passenger side cuddled up in his hoodie. He looked over at her sleeping form. Brushing her hair behind her ears. “wanna make you so happy mamas” he whispered, “you do” she mumbled.

Plank All Over Me - Friendship Test Edition
Pairing: Tom Holland x Reader
Plank All Over Me Masterlist
Regular Masterlist
Tumblr media
“I’m Chris Pine.” Tom waved to the camera.
“And I’m Nick Cage.” You threw your hands up.
“And we have surprisingly both played a version of Spider-Man.” Tom jeered.
“I personally am not surprised Mr. Nicholas Cage played Spider-Man and I don’t know why you are.” You joked.
“Because he’s Nicholas Cage.” Tom pointed out.
“And he was born to play this role? Jealously is a disease, honey.” You waves your hand in Toms face.
“Don’t say it.” He groaned.
“Get well soon.” You blew him a kiss which he swatted away.
“She said it.” He looked at the camera and sighed.
“I feel like we need to start warning brands that we’ll do a video with them, but the intro is gonna be ten minutes of us fighting and there’s nothing they can do to stop that.” You laughed as you realized you were doing it again.
“We’re doing the Friendship Test with Glamour by the way.” Tom said. “Sorry Glamour for not warning you how difficult we are to work with.”
“We’re also not friends.” You said sarcastically.
“We’re going to be man and wife in a few months.” Tom reminded you.
“That doesn’t mean we’re friends.” You replied. “I also never understood the phrase “man and wife.” Like, you’re still a man but I unlock the secret third gender of “wife”? It doesn’t make sense to me.”
“Darling, the only two genders are Coke and Pepsi.” Tom said as if it were obvious.
“Oh, right. My bad.” You laughed.
“Lets start the video.” Tom suggest and clasped his hands together.
“Yea, I think this has been our worst intro yet.” You said apologetically.
“We’re gonna have you guys talk a little about each other in separate rooms first.” A crew member behind the camera told you.
“Oh, okay.” You said as you were lead into the adjacent room.
“Talk to us about Y/n.” Tom was asked in his room.
“Tell us about Tom.” They asked you.
“My favorite thing to talk about.” Tom grinned shyly and looked at his feet.
“Where do I even start?” You shrugged.
“I always say this, not necessarily to her, but she is not a girl you date. She is a girl you marry.” Tom began. “I cannot even imagine dating her and not ending up with her. That’d just be torture and it’d be unfair to all the other girls I came across because I’d always compare them to Y/n.”
“Sometimes, I put his phone on top of the refrigerator when we’re fighting.” You told the camera.
“There is no one in this world who’s more generous.” Tom gushed.
“He’s too short to reach it.” You laughed a little.
“More caring.” He continued.
“It’s really entertaining to watch him try and get it down.” You stated.
“More beautiful.” He listed off.
“He never does.” You shook your head.
“Or more giving than Y/n.” He finished.
“I always have to get it for him.” You chuckled.
“If I didn’t have her, I’d be searching in vain for the rest of my life for something that can give to me what she does.” Tom said sincerely.
“God, he’s also such a bad driver.” You sighed.
“But nothing compares to her.” He professed.
“He runs red lights like it’s his job.” You called him out.
“She completes me and it’s been the greatest joy of my life to love her.” Tom said, getting a little emotional.
“I’m always like “slow down, sonic!” and I honestly don’t even think he can hear me.” You shrugged.
“And to be loved by her.” He smiled.
“He’s crazy.” You said.
“She’s a blessing.” Tom said.
“Thanks guys. We’re gonna return to the first room now for the test.” The crew told you. You were brought back into the room where Tom was ready waiting with a small stack of black cards.
“Exercise one in the friendship test, we have to stare into each other’s eyes for three minutes.” Tom read off a little card. You turned to face each other and instantly smiled.
“Your eyes are so brown.” You commented as you studied them.
“Is that a good thing?” He asked.
“It’s the best thing.” You promised.
“Babydoll. My heart.” He pouted at your complement.
“I never loved brown eyes until I loved you.” You said softly.
“I never loved until I loved you.” He replied.
“Woah. Calm down there, Hamlet. This is Glamour, not our wedding vows.” You laughed shyly at his profession.
“Did you call me Hamlet?” His eyebrows knit together.
“Yeah.” You said as you continued to hold eye contact.
“And not Romeo?” He inquired.
“Why would I call you Romeo?” You asked.
“You’re calling me a famous Shakespearean lover boy and you chose Hamlet over Romeo?” He asked in confusion.
“Romeo was dumb. Oh, then actually yeah, you are Romeo.” You teased.
“If you’re being like this to my face, I can’t wait to hear what sweet things you said about me in the other room.” Tom joked.
“We were supposed to say sweet things?” You asked in a panic.
“She’s kidding.” Tom apologized for you, but you weren’t actually kidding.
“Yes. Kidding.” You lied.
“Has it been three minutes yet? My eyes are so dry.” Tom rubbed around his eyes.
“That makes me think of our plank video.” You smiled when he asked about the time.
“It’s been four.” A crew member told you and your and Tom finally broke eye contact.
“God, I can’t look at this hideous creature any longer.” You joked and Tom pressed a kiss to your forehead.
“Exercise two, compliment each other.” You read off the next card.
“We have to write them down first?” Tom asked the crew.
“He’s asking because he can’t read.” You kidded.
“I know you’re joking, but I genuinely can’t read.” He laughed as he began to write down some compliments.
“It’s okay, baby. Do you best.” You laughed back.
“Okay. I’ll go first.” You opened your notepad. “You’re incredibly hard working. You always show appreciation to each and every person you come into contact with. You dedicate everything you have to your work and it really shows with your outstanding performances. You constantly give and never expect anything in return. You’re a great person to have on my team. And your ass is fat.” You read off what you wrote on the notepad.
“Baby, I’m gonna cry. You really think that about my butt?” Tom held a hand over his heart as he played into your joke.
“Yes. And I love your ears. I forgot to put that in there.” You remembered.
“I’ve always been insecure about my ears. You really like them?” He touched one as he looked at you.
“Yes, My Dumbo looking king.” You wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed his cheek several times.
“My turn.” Tom laughed at your statement. “I said you’re really good at making tea.” He read off the notepad and stared at you blankly.
“Babe, you didn’t.” You out your hands over your mouth as if you were about to cry.
“I did.” He nodded.
“Stop. You gas me up too much.” You pretended to wipe away tears.
“I have too, baby. No one makes tea the way you do.” He continued his joke.
“My secret is hot water.” You winked at the camera.
“Exercise three, ask anything.” Tom read off another card.
“There’s so much I want to know.” Tom gushed, as if he didn’t already know everything about his fiancé.
“Ask away.” You smiled.
“Who is your favorite actor?” Tom started his questions off.
“Oh, that’s a good question.” You pretended to think about it. “It’s gotta be Ryan Reynolds.”
“Oh, okay.” He nodded curtly. “Well what about your favorite actor named Tom? Preferably Tom H?”
“Easy. Tom Hanks.” You replied with a shrug.
“Let’s try this, favorite British Tom H?” He tried again.
“Tom Hiddleston, duh.” You laughed.
“Okay. Okay. That’s fine. Who’s your favorite actor who has portrayed Spider-Man?” He narrowed the pool.
“Another easy one. It’s obviously John Mulaney.” You said and looked at the crew for their agreement.
“He didn’t play Spiderman.” Tom stated.
“He played Spider-Ham in Into The Spiderverse. You didn’t specify if he had to have portrayed human Spider-Man.” You told Tom.
“Well then who’s your favorite British actor who has played Spider-Man?” Tom asked.
“Oh. I see. This was all a set up to the obvious. My favorite British actor who had played Spider-Man,” you shrugged and Tom smiled, “Andrew Garfield. Is he here? Was this a setup to surprise me with my favorite British actor who’s played Spider-Man?”
“He’s not here.” Tom pretended to be hurt.
“No? Then I have to leave early.” You joked.
“Lucky for you, we’ve completed all the exercises.” Tom said when he realized there were no more cards.
“So they took the fight to the death part out of the test?” You asked in faux sadness.
“I guess they did.” Tom laughed.
“Darn.” You shook your head as Tom wrapped his arms around your waist from behind.
“We can still fight to the death when we get home.” He said as he rested his head on your shoulder.
“Promise?” You asked.
“Yes, babygirl. I promise.” Tom pulled you into a hug and rolled his eyes at the camera. “Thank you for watching our Friendship Test.”
“And thank you Glamour for having us.” You said once you pulled out of the hug.
“Who knows? Maybe next time you see us, we’ll be married.” Tom winked at the camera.
“Or divorced.” You deadpanned. “Bye!”

Nick’s Pov: *Flashback*
“I didn’t compare you to Alexys, y/n,” I say, shaking my head as she frowns at me.
“Yes you did! You totally did. Do I need to call up the boys? They heard it too!” Y/n yells and I sigh, shaking my head.
“I did not compare you! All I said was how I liked something she used to do!” I yell back and she huffs.
“Exactly! You said how you wished I did it too. News flash: I’m NOT Alexys, Nick! I’m me!” she yells as tears come to her eyes.
“You know I didn’t mean it like that!! I just liked that she used to do it! I didn’t mean you had to!” I exclaim and she huffs.
“When you say I wish she did it too, that’s kinda what it implies, Nick!!” she yells back and I groan, rubbing at my face.
“I just missed it recently, that’s all!! Don’t you ever just miss something Anthony did?!” I yell and she shakes her head vehemently.
“No, Nick, I don’t! He was abusive and you know it! I don’t miss a thing that he did because I LOVE YOU! More than I EVER loved him,” she barks with her arms crossed as she turns away from me.
“I’ve told you, it was always you,” she whispers out as tears well up in her eyes.
“I can’t even look at you. What happened to us? You promised this wouldn’t happen! Nick, how could you just throw countless years of friendship and almost three years together away?” she asks as she looks away from me as she continues to cry and I reach out to her.
“I didn't throw anything away. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean for it to sound like I was comparing you guys,” I say in a softer tone as I reach out to her.
“No. Don’t even touch me…” she fumes, pushing my hands away from her.
“I’m going to be sick…” she sobs out as she puts a hand to her mouth.
“You still want her, don’t you? Oh my gosh. What has this been, then?” she asks as she points between us and I quickly shake my head.
“No. I’ve wanted-” I start to deny it before she cuts me off.
“Shit. I’ve just been a rebound girl, haven’t I? Exactly what I didn’t want to be when this started,” she asks as she points between us again before pulling at her hair.
“Nick, you promised! You promised me I wouldn’t lose you!” she screams before hiccuping and I try to reach out to her again.
“You’ve never been, nor would you be, a rebound for me. Hell, I told you when we got together that I’ve been in love with you since we were fourteen, y/n, and that’s still the truth,” I say as I reach out for her and again she pushes my hands away.
“I said don’t touch me and I don’t believe that right now,” she growls at me before letting out a sigh and running off.
I run after her and watch as she slams down on her knees before releasing the lunch we just had into the toilet. I bend down and hold her hair for her. She groans before pushing my hands away again.
“I think I’m going to ask B if I can stay with him for a few days. I think we need a break,” she groans out as she sits and lays her head against the wall.
“No. Come on. Let’s work this out,” I protest and she holds up a hand up at me.
“Just stop…” she whimpers and I feel tears come to my eyes now.
“Mamas, please don’t leave,” I beg, shaking my head to try and will the tears to go away.
“I’m sorry Nick, but I need time. I’ll still be there for you because you're still my best friend as you always will be, but I can’t even look at you right now,” she says as she bites at her lip before standing up.
“I just need time. Comparing me to your ex really hurt me. You know Anthony did that to me all the time. I never thought you’d do it…” she whispers as her tears flow fully now.
I watch as she quickly brushes her teeth, then throws her toothbrush in the trash before pushing past me. She walks down the hall to our room and I stay frozen in my spot. I hear her speaking softly for a few minutes before she comes back out with her backpack over her shoulder.
“Please. Mamas, I’m so sorry. Please, please let us work this out. I didn’t mean it,” I practically beg and she scoffs.
“Yeah. Like you didn’t mean it that time you said her name in your sleep?” she asks and I groan before pushing my anger down.
“I can’t control my dreams, mamas. We’ve talked about that. It was purely an accident. Just like today was,” I say and she shakes her head.
“I’m sorry Nick, I’m done believing you. I can’t believe you right now and I don’t know if I ever will again,” she whispers out and I let a tear fall.
I helplessly watch as she walks out the front door and sigh as it closes behind her. I sit on the couch and just let myself go numb.

I jump when I hear the door to the apartment open, making me turn to see Zion and Edwin walking in. Zion walks into the kitchen and Edwin comes over to sit next to me. Zion comes back in with a bottle of water and hands it to me.
“How is she doing?” I ask hesitantly and Zion sighs.
“She’s doing about the same as you,” Edwin answers and I shake my head.
“It’s been two weeks…” I whisper out and Zion groans.
“What do you expect, man? You really hurt her. You didn’t see her the night she walked into B’s house. She was, and still is, utterly heartbroken dude. Broke down a bunch of times over the last two weeks,” Zion snaps at me and I nod as tears come to my eyes.
“Shut up, will you? He’s hurting too,” Edwin softly says as he pats my back.
“No. I will not go easy on him, Edwin. You haven’t been there to see her break down. She feels as though he’s lied to her this whole time,” Zion says and I sigh, shaking my head.
“I didn’t lie to her. I made a mistake. Maybe he’s right though, E. Maybe it’s time I just…” I stop myself from talking with a hiccup as I try to hold back my tears.
“Maybe… maybe it’s time I… l-l-let her go…” I choke out while my throat trembles as I hold back my emotions.
“No. Z, tell him that’s not what you mean. You know he loves her. You said it yourself the moment we met these two, they were made for one another,” Edwin says as he shakes his head.
“Yeah, but that’s why she said didn’t want to tell him her feelings. Remember? She was so scared to lose him,” Zion confesses and Edwin lets out a light growl at him.
“Z. If you don’t shut up…” Edwin trails off as he points a finger at him.
“Nick, listen to me. I know for a fact you didn’t mean it. The world has just been super cold lately and you both have changed. You’ve grown up. Your love started out as the love you guys had growing up with one another, easy,” Edwin tries to explain, but I just shake my head in confusion, making him sigh.
“What I mean is, I don’t think you know how to love the older versions of yourselves. You guys fell in love at a young age when love just comes easy to people. Especially when you grow up knowing the other like the back of your hand,” Edwin keeps trying to explain to me from what he’s seen, but I just still give him a confused look.
“You didn’t get together till you were older. Things change, people change and that’s ok. I think you guys have both been stuck in the past. You guys just haven’t learned to grow with one another,” Edwin continues to explain before groaning when I shake my head.
“No. I think it’s time. I think I need to… s-s-set her free. We have been fighting far too much lately,” I whimper out and Edwin sighs.
“If you do that you’ll only break her even more. She’s already feeling like she’s lost you as a boyfriend, don't let her lose her best friend too,” Edwin continues to push and Zion lets out an angry grunt.
“Zion, let's go. He needs some time to think this over by himself. Nick, please take care of yourself. I don’t wanna come back and find you like I did last week,” Edwin cautions with a stern look my way and I nod at him.

After the boys leave, I let out a sigh before pushing up off the couch. I walk into the hall and immediately stop in the entrance of the hall when I see one of the many pictures of us. I slowly reach up to it and take it off the wall before I get sucked into the memory.

“Nick!” Y/n cries out as I pinch her side.
“What?” I ask in faux innocence.
“Stop!” she says with a giggle as I tickle her.
“What? I’m just watching a movie with my girl,” I say with a shrug.
“No, you're not. You're tickling me when I wanna watch the movie,” she accuses and I fake innocence again.
“I have no clue what you mean, mamas. I am watching the movie,” I continue to deny as I turn my head to the tv.
“That’s a lie and you know it!” she exclaims and I chuckle.
“Oh ok… how could I ever lie to you,” I say as I snuggle into her neck, making her giggle.
“I love you, Nicky,” she says as she scratches at my scalp.
“Hmm… that’s good to hear. Cause I love you too,” I say as we both slowly relax into one another.
“Tired, Nicky?” she asks as she continues to massage my scalp.
“Hmm…” I tiredly mumble out.
“Sleep, my love. Sleep,” she says before giving my cheek a kiss and before I know it, my eyes close.
It’s not till much, much later that I wake up to the sound of chuckles. With a light groan, I open one eye to see Zion, Edwin and Austin standing in front of the tv. Austin has his phone and I hear a click before they all start to snicker again.
“Well good morning, Nicky boy,” Zion jokes as he bats his eyelashes at me and I roll my eyes.
I feel a puff of air on my neck and then y/n lets out a small groan. I look down at her now that she’s literally on top of me as she cuddles into me a little more. She nuzzles her nose into my neck then seems to go right back to sleep.
“Would you guys shut up? You're going to wake her. Believe me, you guys don’t want a cranky y/n,” I whisper out harshly to them before pulling y/n a little closer.
“Whatever…” Zion says before walking out of the room.
“You guys are so cute together,” Austin says as he sits down in the chair next to the couch.
“Look…” he says as he puts his phone out for me to look at.
I crank my neck just enough to be able to see what he’s talking about. I let out a light laugh when I see he had taken a picture of us cuddling:

“Dude, y’all fell asleep cuddling and holding hands, that’s hella cute,” Austin says and I chuckle.
“It is, isn't it? I really love her, man,” I say and he grins as he pulls his phone back.
“As you should. She's special, man. Take care of her,” he says and I smile.
“Of course I will. I always have,” I say as I stroke her back lightly.
“I mean you already did. Don’t lose that. She’s really broken, man. That Anthony did a real number on her…” he says, making me nod before looking down at her again.
“I know…” I say as I trace the light bruise that’s still on her cheek. She shivers a bit, making me stop so I don’t wake her.
“She’s mine now. He’s not ever coming near her again. If he does, he’s dead,” I say as I hold her a little tighter than before.
“And we all know you’ll keep that promise. You always do, Mr. Protective,” Austin jokes and I chuckle.
“You know it’s really kinda funny that you two got together just because of the abuse,” Austin remarks and I again crank my neck to look at him.
“Why’s it funny?” I ask and he grins.
“Cause you Nick would have never asked her out before it all. I’m sorry to tell you man, but you had absolutely no balls when around her,” he jokes and I scoff before moving my neck back.
“That’s an absolute lie, man,” I agree and he just gives me an ‘mmm-hmm'.
“All I’m saying is she needed you and you needed her without even realizing it…” he explains before trailing off as it goes quiet for a moment.
“Wanna watch something?” Austin pipes up and I shrug.
“Sure. Just not the game…” I say and he lets out a laugh.
“Duh. I’m not stupid. You’d wake her up with all your yelling,” he says and I roll my eyes.
“No I wouldn’t…” I say and he shakes his head.
“Whatever you say man. Whatever you say,” he says as he continues to laugh.
“Hey. Can you send me that picture of us?” I ask and he hums as he presses play on whatever he’s chosen to watch before picking his phone up off his lap.
A few minutes later, I feel my phone buzz next to my hip and I grin as I pull it out. I open the picture up and save it before setting my phone back down.
“Thanks, man,” I say as I turn to look at the tv.
“You're welcome, Nicky…” he says jokingly and I chuckle.
Instead of watching whatever he puts on the tv, I watch her sleep and smile lightly at the fact that she’s now safe in my arms. Three weeks ago, she was in hell and I was in hell that I hadn’t noticed. A best friend should notice when something is wrong, and I had no clue.
But when I learned he was hurting her I couldn’t take it and went full protective. Now three weeks later, we’re only a week into dating and I couldn’t be happier to have her safe in my arms.
~End of Flashback~
I hold the picture as the memory plays out and I let out a light sob as I trace over the picture with my finger. I let another tear fall as I put the picture back up before sighing. I then shuffle to our room and stop in the doorway when I see Mr. Cuddles on the bed.
I chuckle, shaking my head at the very simple name before going over to pick up the old koala. When I lift him up I hold him close to me for a second before rushing to our closet. I quickly put on my shoes and almost fall over in the process.
Once both shoes are on and my feet are safely on the floor, I rush back through to the living room. I stop in the little foyer we have before grabbing my keys off the hook. Then I run out to my car and quickly get into the driver's side.
I set Mr. Cuddles in the passenger seat before starting my car up and pulling my buckle on. Once my buckle is in place and the car is started up, I drive to B’s. After a fifteen to twenty minute drive, I’m pulling up outside his house.
I quickly turn my car off before unbuckling and grabbing Mr. Cuddles. I set the stuffed animal against the steering wheel and I sigh, knowing what I have to do. After a moment of staring at the koala, I open my car door and get out.
After getting out, I lock my door and walk up the old familiar driveway of the home I used to live in. I walk up to the door and take a deep breath as I raise my hand to knock.

Nick Mara x Reader
“And you’re completely sure that he has no idea?” The boy whose face covered my entire phone screen just shook his head so violently that his glasses almost fell off. The black-haired girl sitting beside him let a laugh slip past her pink lips, causing Brandon to give her the most annoyed look he could muster. “B, you better practice your poker face if you and Maggie are the only ones keeping this secret.” His facade slipped at that, and now all three of us were giggling, I don’t know if it was from nerves or from just having bad humor. Nevertheless, it didn’t seem to matter since giggles kept slipping past my lips whenever I tried to say something serious.
“Okay for real, he doesn’t even suspect anything right?” Maggie and Brandon sighed in union and just shook their heads. “Not right now, but if you ask one more time I will go and fucking tell Nick.” I narrowed my eyes at the black-haired girl that somehow had managed to become my best friend. “Sorry, I just really want it to be a good surprise.” Her harsh expression melted a little at my words and she gave me a cheeky grin. “Well it will be, and listen you didn’t hear this from me but he has been pretty annoying talking about you all the time, so you better give him a good fuck.” Both I and Brandon looked at her with our mouths wide open and he leaned back into the sofa they were occupying and just mouthed oh my god. “Well yeah why do you think I am taking a four-hour plane ride to see him?” She snickered at that while Brandon just got up and left, muttering something about now wanting to be a part of our freaky conversations. “However Mags, you shouldn’t be the one talking when your man can’t even handle talking about it.” I stuck my tongue out at the camera, while she just laughed and shook her head.
After we hung up, I held my phone in a death grip trying to ease the anxiety that rose whenever I glanced at the plane. The fear of flying had plagued me since before I could even form a sentence, but now it was mixed with the nerves that came from not seeing my boyfriend for almost four weeks. Usually, it would be his hand that my fingers were digging into whenever my nerves got the best of me, but today my phone had to suffice.
The only time my fingers let go of my phone was when I got off the plane and finally could feel some sort of calm enter my body. I survived a four-hour plane ride by myself, surely I would be able to get to their venue without fucking this up? But before I could get going, there was a need to change out of the sweatpants and hoodie that had been on my body for way too long. A couple of minutes later, a pair of light blue jeans and a white shirt adorned my body. It wasn’t much, but it did take away the feeling of being disgusting.
To Maggie L
I’m taking a uber now to the venue now, care to open the door for me?:)
From Maggie L Duh
After an awkward uber ride and a lot of banging on the door for Maggie to let me in, I felt drained. But the knowledge of being in the same building as the person that held my heart, made energy burst through my veins.Their show was starting soon and I was hiding in the bathroom, waiting for Maggie to tell me that the coast was clear so that we finally could go out. When she had opened the door for me to get in the building, we had to run and hide. Apparently Brandon had forgotten about me and decided that the boys were to take that exact route through the venue. Maggie and I had been sending several curses his way when we finally were able to catch our breaths.
A light knock on the door woke me up from my trance, and I quickly opened the door and walked out. I had barely gotten out of the door before Maggie linked our arms together and started dragging me towards the barricade, where we would be spending our night. “So what’s the plan, are you going to like surprise him after the show?” I turned my face up to look at her and nodded. “Yeah, that’s the plan.” She gave me a small smile and then started walking faster as she heard the opening music.
Wait a fucking minute
“Maggie Lindemann! Please don’t tell me what I think you are implying.” I yelled after her and started running after her. She turned around and just gave me a cheeky grin, causing me to put my face in my hands and sigh loudly. “Girl what is your problem, I haven’t said anything.” I gave her an annoyed look as she continued to giggle, but all my thoughts melted away the second that the boys ran out on stage. Fuck he looked so good, I shivered at the thought of lying in his arms tonight. As a child the thought of loving someone so much you that you couldn’t take your eyes off them seemed silly and impossible. But when Nick was dancing and singing his heart out, how was I supposed to look at anything else? So during the first thirty minutes of the show, I watched with tears in my eyes while my mouth hung open in astonishment. In the corner of my eye, I could see Maggie filming me but my mind was elsewhere. “Guys guys, there is actually someone special in the audience today.-” Brandon paused and looked at the other boys with a small grin, three of the boys looked equally happy while the fourth one looked at all of them in confusion. I turned to look at Maggie, my heart beating faster and faster for every second that ticked by.
“So you’re telling me that your boyfriend forgot that I was coming, but he could fucking remember to drag me up on stage? He knows I have stage fright.” Although what I was saying was indeed true, a big part of me was becoming ecstatic over the fact that I would be able to hug Nick and bury my head in his chest in just a couple of minutes. “Shh, He is talking again.” I shook my head at her but couldn’t help the way my whole face lit up when Brandon said my name. “So y/n, you care to come up here?” The second Brandon said my name, Nick furrowed his brows and looked at all the boys while asking them something that I couldn’t possibly hear over the screams. Maggie’s hands were on my back as she started pushing me towards the little staircase that led up to the stage. Nick was still looking around with a confused expression, he didn’t really seem to know what was going on. He was looking for me in all the wrong places, making Zion turn him around and push him in my direction.
He stumbled over his feet when his eyes caught mine and I brought my hand up to my mouth if it was to stop myself from laughing or crying, I did not know. People were screaming our names, it felt surreal because I did not even think people knew who I was. But they knew Nick, and that was enough for them. Nick said something, but yet again I couldn’t hear. Therefore I started running towards him because I never wanted to miss another word that came out of his mouth.
His arms engulfed me in a body crushing hug, and now I couldn’t stop the tears from escaping my eyes. He spun me around and laughed, the other boys were saying something in their microphone but I couldn’t focus on anything but Nick’s laugh.
“I wasn’t supposed to cry, you were.” I laughed when he set me down on the stage and he grabbed my face between his hands, wiping away any tear that had managed to find it’s way down my cheeks. “Fuck, you’re really here mamas.” I smiled at him, mimicking the toothy grin that was lighting his face, and I placed his face between my hands. Before I went in for the kiss I had been longing after for four weeks, my lips brushed past his ear, whispering
I’m really here.

never again - n.m.
Just a little thing I wanted to write!!
Pairing: Nick Mara x reader
Prompt: Y/n had been suffering from nightmares after breaking up w/ Nick, and goes back to him for comfort
Warning(s): none really? :)
Request: I actually wrote this for one of my friends who doesn’t use tumblr but here we are
----------------------------------------------------
It’d been about three weeks since she’d spoken with Nick and he wasn’t having it anymore. Something had gone wrong, and he didn’t know where, all he knew was now she was gone and he was sleeping alone, yet again. His mind raced with thoughts of her as he laid in bed, wondering what it was he said or did that pushed her away so far; One memory of that night vividly came up, and he turned on his side, trying to let the sweetness of sleep lull him away from reality of his empty bed.
She laid in bed, eyes red and puffy from crying, and hugged her knees to her chest, trying to stop the tears. She’d had another nightmare and now it was becoming too much to bear on her own. She tried to compose herself, doing the breathing exercises her and Nick had practiced so often, but nothing seemed to work.
She reached for her phone on the nightstand with a shaking hand, and silently thanked herself for not blocking Nick’s number. She found his name in her contacts and pressed the call button, hoping he would answer, although deep down she knew he would. He answered on the third ring, and his voice sounded sleepy as he said hello.
“Nick…” she said, another silent cry leaving her throat, “Nick please…” She tired to say, and could just imagine the way his eyes grew wide and how he sat up in his bed, frowning and waiting for her to continue. She closed her eyes, and took in a deep breath trying to steady her emotions for a few seconds so she could speak. His eyes started watering, he could hear her ragged breaths and he couldn’t be there to hold her and tell her everything was going to be okay.
“Nick, tell me everything is going to be okay…” She whispered, and he sighed quietly, holding his phone tightly.
“Y/n-” He said, and she started to talk again.
“No, let me finish, please” She said softly and took a deep breath, “Tell me everything will be okay between us, because I keep having these nightmares where you’re gone forever and I don’t want that. I know we argue and fight but I… I love you.”
He couldn’t even say anything, all he could do was sit in silence in his dark room, one hand over his mouth and a worried yet surprised expression creasing his brows.
“Say something…” she mumbled, and he cleared his throat.
“I’m coming over.” He said simply, and she let out the breath she was holding, breaking out into a teary-eyed smile. He set his phone down on the bed, and changed into some sweatpants, and grabbed his car keys, heading out. A few seconds later he jogged back inside into get his phone.
“I’ll stay on with you, okay?” He said, and she quietly said a thanks.
About a few minutes later, she heard a knock at her front door, and she ambled over to her front door, opening it slowly and peeking out, coming face to face with Nick, who hung up and she threw the door open. He walked in and wrapped his arms around her, and she hugged him back, letting out a single sob, and breathing in the smell of his sweatshirt. It seemed to calm her down, and he walked into her apartment, with her still around him, and closed the door.
“I’m here, Y/n, it’s okay, I promise you I won’t leave, okay?” He whispered and kissed the top of her head, and in that moment she felt like it had always been like this and the past three weeks hadn’t ever existed. When the reality of the situation hit her, she pulled away quickly, and frowned.
“Oh my gosh- oh Nick, I’m sorry! We aren’t together anymore and you don’t have this responsibility to come and comfort me anymore, and your new girlfriend probably hates me now, and-” She rambled, and Nick stepped closer, cutting her off by kissing her softly, and she responded by practically melting into his arms.
“There will never be anyone else, I’m always here for you, even if I have to wait a thousand years for you to come back to me.” He said, and hugged her tightly once again, her, hoping he would really never let go.
“Thank you...” she said, muffled by his chest, and he whispered softly,
  “Never again...”

Healthy | Nick Mara x Reader
Warnings: Fluff
Tumblr media
Don't even smile Don't even look at me
Nick looked down at you whilst you were sleeping on his shoulder, the movie playing in the background. He always thought about you every day and night and missed you, all the time. He was crazy about you, completely love struck.
He honestly couldn’t sleep without you by his side because you were all that was on his mind, every day of every hour and it was a ride. He had to stop thinking about you. It was something he craved.
You were a drug to him.
Don't say the words you know it's gon' happen 'Cause only you know what it does to me
You groggily sat up and wiped your eyes, “Hey baby, what time is it?”
Nick looked into your e/c eyes, “11:30,” he said.
“Well, I’m not gonna be able to sleep now!” You said to him. “We should go to, iHop!”
“Y/n, seriously?” Nick groaned.
“Please, Nick? I want some pancakes!” You giggled.
“Fine, fine, let’s go.”
you smiled before you both got in his car and drove to iHop.
Heartbeat fast like it's tryna run from me I'm losing sleep
You got out the car looking at the store before ordering some buttermilk pancakes.
“iHop never fails to amaze me.” You said a mouthful of pancakes.
“What?” Nick asked with a small laugh and smile.
You swallowed all your food, “I said ‘iHop never fails to amaze me’.” You smiled.
You finished your pancakes and the two of you returned to the apartment you two shared. You walked inside and fell on your bed, “I am sooooo stuffed.” You dragged out your words.
Nick fell down next to you and pulled you into his arms. “Well, you wanted to  gooo.” He said mocking you.
“I love you soooo muuuucchhhh,” you laughed.
“and I love you soooo muuuchhhh,” He smiled kissing you for what felt like the first time over and over again.
He loved you too much and couldn’t ever afford to let you go.
And I'm starting to think there's something wrong with me No, this ain't healthy

She knew better than anyone. Nick loved his job, he loved being in the studio with talented individuals writing and producing. Music isn't just a hobby to him, it's a dream come true.
And she would never take that away from him.
But at what expense? Did she have to be cast to the side? They went from eating dinner jointly to him arriving home saying “I ate already, I’m going to bed” from forehead kisses to a simple peck on the crown of her hair. He would arrive back from the studio tardily, and she wouldn’t catch a glimpse of him until the morning. They barely even touched each other anymore, his side of the bed with nothing but a ghost story.
Grabbing the clothes in the basket, she heads for the laundry room “does he even love me anymore?” she questioned to herself. She hated herself for giving him that power to make her overthink to make her shallow in pain. Heartbroken doesn't even begin to explain how she feels.
Hearing the key jangle in the door, her broken sighs come to a halt, wiping the tears that stained her cheeks she placed the clothes in the washing machine. “Mamas I'm home!” he announced, she didn't want him to know she was home but one way or another she has to talk to him. “Laundry room!” she yelled dryly hearing his footsteps coming closer made her heart drop. Imagine loving someone that's slipping away from you? She asked herself.
“Hey, beautiful” he kissed the crown on her hairline, usually she would hug him kiss his collarbone any form of excitement and affection to him, but nick was looking at her with a confused expression. “What's wrong with you?” nick pondered his hands on her waist he was looking right through her. What made her mood change? He asked himself
lifting her chin to his gaze “what's wrong beautiful?” nick asks her furthermore
“Nothing, how was your day?” she avoided his concern, or at least that's what she wanted to imagine. She went to move for the clothes, hearing the machine impasse. Nick grabs her midsection heaving her back to her existing place. “Can you tell me what's wrong? why are you acting so cold to me lately?”
‘Me acting cold?’ she thought to herself her a
Stuble anger getting the best of her, pushing his hands off her waist. “You're a hypocrite nick you know that?” she walked away from his grasp to place her clothes in the dryer.
“Excuse me? , oh I'm sorry I'm not a mind reader mamas” nick sarcastically replied, leaning against the wall he watched as she placed the clothes in the dryer. “I asked you twice to tell me what's wrong but you don't want to tell me, what am I supposed to do?” his voice was somber, he never yelled at her, even when they were in a heated argument, he wouldn't dare yell at her. For starters, he didn't like yelling, what does yelling solve? And second, he just didn't like raising his voice at her she's precious to him.
“Nick, you're the one that's acting cold to me!” her tears muddying her view, all she could glimpse was his silhouette turning her head the tears she desperately wanted to save for herself dripped down her chin. “you come home late from the studio, and you don't even cuddle me, you don't even kiss me the same anymore” she stared at him his utterance showing no change in it as if her words were just not phasing him. “You forget dates that you plan, and I'm sitting at home every time with a full face of makeup, it's like you forget you have a girlfriend nick”
Nick sighs roaming his fingers through his hair “mamas, I'm here with you twenty-four hours. Is the slightest bit of attention not enough for you? I try and text you throughout the day, I may miss dates sure, but don't act like I don't try at all” his eyes turned to hers, she saw the reflection of annoyance in them. But she also saw her broken form in them.
“Nick, I never said you don't try at all but it seems like you don't wanna make time for me, texts are great an all but you merely even text me, your texts feel short and rushed every time I try and make plans with you, you can never pull through!! A relationship takes two fucking people nick” she yelled her veins jumping out her throat. Nick was getting annoyed, and she could tell.
“You're so fucking clingy mamas, I give you attention when I can and it's never enough, maybe I'm just not enough for you huh? I'm fucking sorry that I doing have a normal decent job that I can stay home with you or take you out on dates, but with the way you're yelling at me makes it seem like I never make time for you and we both know that's a damn lie”
“Nick—” she started off but he signals his hand up “no, I'm done” nick walks out of the room slamming the door behind him, her heartfelt heavier than before, yes she still felt like he didn't love her but she never meant to Insinuate that he was an awful boyfriend.
Because he wasn't.
Four hours have passed and it's 10 pm she was starting to get nervous it was late at night, she never liked when he went out at night especially with his mind hazy with emotions. Could he be cheating? Or drinking his anger away? Biting her nails the front door opens causing her to stop pacing back and forth, she walked into the living room seeing nick place Items on the kitchen counter. He looks at her with eyes swimming in guilt her puffy cheeks and red eyes, he never liked to see it.
Especially when he was the cause of it.
“C’mere mamas,” he asked softly, moving her legs to him she looked up at him his nimble fingers fondling through her hair before they are met with her cheeks “I'm sorry, I'm so sorry baby, I should've taken your words in clearly instead of deflecting” she squeezed her arms around his waist to grab his attention. “No it's not okay, I should've listened to you, I should've heard how you felt instead of just putting all my frustration on you, you don’t deserve that, you deserve this” he pointed to the flowers and box of pizza, her favorite desserts. With watery eyes, she placed her chin on the center of his chest.
“Nick?” she called for him softly, his eyes stared into hers, drinking in the pool of adoration “I love you, and I'm not mad at you I understand how you feel too, we were just overwhelmed that we couldn't see each other's feelings, but arguments don't make me love you any less”
Her nails caressed his lower back “I was just really worried that I lost you, you stormed out and I thought you didn't want to be with me anymore” nick cups her cheeks, bringing her to his lips. She felt how shaky he was, he was trembling in her touch, not cold shivers but anxious shivers. When they pulled away she held onto his forearms for his sake, he was losing balance. “I’d never cease to stop loving you, I need you mamas, no matter how mad I get I won't leave, sometimes I wonder am I good enough for you”
“You're just the right amount for me” she smiles pulling him down to her lips, she smiles against his lips when she felt his fingers crawl up her spine. “Oh I love you too” he spoke breathlessly, he gives her a soft love tap on her ass before grabbing a slice of pizza.
They cuddle together on the couch watching her favorite movie, his thumb grazing softly over her thighs while her nails caressed his forearm, simultaneously putting each other at ease. His chin plopped on top of her head. Nick moved pieces of hair out of her face her slightly parted lips as her cheeks squished into his chest. “You're so beautiful” he whispered, moving slightly he heard tiny whimpers escape her lips.
“No stay” she pouted, Nick scoffed picking her up bridal style “where are we going,” she asked
“Our room mamas”
“Okay, but you better stay, or else you sleep on the couch” she hit his chest with little strength she had.
“Okay, I promise I won't leave” he smiled, pulling her into his chest, she nuzzled her nose into his neck. “I love you baby” she mumbled
“I love you more mamas, always Imma make it up to you” he spoke with his chin on her head. “This is already enough” she reminded him.
Nick smiles “what did I do to deserve you?” rubbing her back he held her tighter “I'm so in love with you, let's not fight like that ever again hm?” no words could form from her hazy brain so she settled for a kiss on his bare chest and a slight nod.
“Goodnight mamas”

Ghosting
Pairing: Peter Parker x Reader but he’s dead 😔

“Do you have to go out tonight?” You pouted at Peter perched himself on the fire escape. He reached sour to hold your hand, but it wasn’t the same. The iron suit was safer and more intuitive, but it prevented you from feeling the warmth of your boyfriends hands.
“There was a robbery down on Bleeker street. I can get a better aerial view than the cops can.” Peter told you, giving your hand a squeeze. You frowned, not liking the idea of him getting involved so late at night.
“Was it an armed robbery?” You questioned, and his face told you everything you needed to know. You looked down but he tilted your chin up so you would look at him.
“My suit is bulletproof.” He reminded you and pressed a chaste kiss to your lips.
“But your face isn’t.” You sighed. Peter could see the fear in your eyes and gave you an assuring smile.
“My mask will be on. I can’t risk anything happening to this.” He gestured to his face and shot you a wink, making you laugh lightly.
“Are you sure?” You worried. “I thought you were still having troubles with your suit. What if the mask comes off again?”
“That hasn’t happened in weeks. I’ll be fine, baby. Don’t you worry that pretty little head.” Peter pulled you in for another kiss, letting it linger this time.
“I can’t help it. I love you too much.” You smiled sadly as he rested his forehead against yours. Peter chuckled and kissed the tip of your nose.
“I love you even more. I’ll be home in an hour. Two, tops. Then I’m all yours. Sound good?” He asked you as he prepared to leave.
“Sounds good.” You said reluctantly. “Be safe.”
“Don’t you know who you’re talking to? I’m Spiderman, baby. I’m always safe.” He winked at you again, making you roll your eyes this time. His mask enveloped his face and he gave you a wave.
“I love you.” You called after him as he swung away.
“Love you.” He yelled into the night.
The sound of a gunshot woke you out of your sleep. An ice cold sweat adhered your shirt to your skin, making you throw the covers off. You stared at the ceiling for a moment, thinking about the last time you saw Peter. That dream had been plaguing you for the past six years. You always knew what was coming. And you always woke up in a cold sweat with a rock in your stomach. You put a hand over your mouth to muffle your cries and turned to face the wall. Your body shook as silent sobs escaped your lips. It wasn’t long before you heard your boyfriend stir and sit up beside you.
“What’s wrong?” He grumbled, rubbing his eyes. He was used to this, being woken up by your crying. He could usually tune it out, and did, but tonight pushed him a little too far. It was the third time that week he’d heard you crying over Peter. He wasn’t gonna tune it out anymore.
“Nothing. Go back to bed.” You tried to keep your voice steady as you wiped your face on your sleeve.
“It’s him, isn’t it?” He said, voice tired but not from lack of sleep.
“I’m fine, Nick.” You repeated, trying to hold back tears so he wouldn’t get suspicious. You shifted your head on the damp pillowcase to hide the wet spot in case he turned on the lights. All your efforts were pointless. He already heard. He always heard, and you knew that it broke his heart every time.
“Is it gonna be like this every night?” He snapped and turned the bedside lamp on. You sat up and plastered a fake smile on your face.
“No.” You shook your head and he rolled his eyes. “I said I’m fine. Just go back to sleep.
“I can’t. I can’t sleep.” Nick yelled, throwing the covers off of himself to get out of bed. You jumped a little at his tone and held the blankets close to your body. “Not when you’re crying right beside me over another man. How am I supposed to sleep knowing that you’d rather be with someone else?” He pointed an accusing finger at you and your lip began to tremble. Not from fear, but from anger.
“He’s dead!” You shouted as tears stung your eyes. “So what if I’m crying over him? It’s not like I can be with him. He just comes and visits me when I’m dreaming every now and then.”
“You still love him.” Nick put his hands on his hips and looked at your tearfully. “You still love him and you wish you were with him instead of me.”
“That’s not true. I love you and I want us to be together. But when you act like this,” your voice broke, “then yeah, I wish I were still with him.”
Nick stares at you for a moment, silent tears running down his face. In the year you’d been together, you’d never seen him cry. You didn’t even know he was capable. It frightened you to see him like this.
“How are we supposed to be together when you are still in love with your ex? It’s been 6 years, Y/n. You need to move on.” He said through gritted teeth. Any remorse you felt for him melted into anger.
“I have moved on.” You declared. “I said yes to your date, to your advances, to moving in with you, to everything! But that doesn’t mean I don’t miss him.” You cried and he let out a humorless laugh.
“Miss him? You’re still in love with him!” He shouted at you. “I can’t keep living in his shadow. I can’t spend the rest of my life with a woman who would rather be with a pile of dust.”
“How dare you?” You said gravely, seething with anger. Your eyes flickered to the urn on your desk where you kept Peters ashes before they farted back to Nick.
“How dare I? How dare you?” He bellowed. “You’re lying to the both of us every time you say you love me.”
“That’s not true!” You protested.
“If he came back tomorrow, who would you pick?” Nick asked, suddenly calm. “Who’s arms would you run into? His or mine?”
His anger was gone, and now he just looked upset. He wiped his face with his hands as he waited for an answer.
“His.” You muttered and he nodded his head, looking up at the ceiling to avoid your guilt ridden eyes.
“That’s what I thought.” He sucked his teeth and turned his back to you. You went around the bed to get closer, still keeping a short distance between the two of you.
“I don’t understand why you’re so angry.” You said quietly. “You have been so understanding about this our entire relationship but you pick tonight to explode on me? I know I’ve put you through more than anyone should have to go through, but you have to understand why.”
Nick slowly turned around and sized you up.
“So tell me. Why?” He shrugged and clasped his hands together.
“Because loved him, and he loved me.” You smiled as crystal clear tears ran down your face. “I thought I was gonna be with him for the rest of my life. But that didn’t happen. So I’m sorry if I have a little baggage after the love of my life died, but this hasn’t been easy for me either.”
Nick glared at you, anger pooling into his light green eyes.
“You did it again.” He shook his head. “You called him the love of your life. What am I?”
“You’re my boyfriend. And you aren’t being fair. You think I don’t know how much it hurts you when I talk about him? You think I can’t see the look on your face when I bring him up? Or when I have lunch dates with his aunt? But you would never admit that to me. You didn’t want to admit that it hurt you. So how can you yell at me now? I’ve been crying over him nearly every night since we started going out. What makes tonight so special? Why does it upset you now?” You asked him desperately. He looked at you blanks, embarrassed that you saw through his coverup.
“I guess I just decided that I had enough.” He said lowly, eyes tearing into you. There was something animalistic about his gaze that made your pulse quicken.
“Maybe I’ve had enough too.” You whispered, eyes trailing from Nicks face to Peters urn. The way the moonlight was coming in through the window gave it an appearance that it was glowing. You smiled for a moment, almost being able to feel his touch on your now.
“I think it’s time we call it quits.” Nick swallowed and you nodded.
“I think so too.” You gave him an apologetic smile that he wanted no part of. He brushed past you and opened the closet, beginning to take his clothes out and set them on the bed.
“Nick, please. You don’t have to leave. This is your apartment. I’ll go.” You offered when he began to transfer his clothes into a suitcase.
“Don’t bother. I hate this apartment. And I hate that thing staring at me every night.” He said as he pointed at the urn. You silently watched him pack his clothes, making no further attempts to stop him. He raised the handle of his suit case and approached you, solemn look in his eyes.
“Just so you know, anybody else wouldn’t have lasted a day in this relationship. I tried to stick it out, but you just won’t change.” He said bitterly. You stepped aside so he could reach the door, but grabbed his arm before he could leave.
“I’m sorry. Really, I am. But I love him.” You said and Nick looked away. “And you’re right, that’s never going to change.”
Nicks gaze returned to you and you could almost see hesitation in his eyes. You thought he might accept your apology until his eyes shifted to Peters urn. He swallowed and looked back at you, having made up his mind.
“I’ll be back tomorrow to get the rest of my things.” He said, and left the room, taking the remains of your relationship with him.

An Office Hoe-liday (Nick Mara)
Pairing: Nick Mara x Reader
Word Count: 1,515
Summary: Office gossip always travels fast, especially in the publishing business.  But by the third year at your company, you can only say one thing...fuck it. (Part of the @prettymuchaholiday secret santa gift exchange).
Warnings:  Swearing, mentions of sexual activity, implied smut, alcohol (of age)
A/N:  Happy holidays, @rushuzzz !  I hope you enjoy your secret santa gift.  I’d love to connect with you in the future to talk about Nick until our hearts burst.  I hope 2019 brings you the best <3
The office ugly sweater holiday party was annual and mandatory.  There was nothing you hated more than putting on a hot, itchy sweater, and hanging out with your annoying coworkers on a Saturday night.  But you had to.  You knew from experience that it wasn’t something you could get out of, especially because when you tried to cut two years ago, you got a friendly call from your boss asking where you were.
It wouldn’t be so bad if the crowd was a little bit different.  But the problem with working at a major publishing company is that the average age in the office was somewhere around 40.  Only you and two other workers were under the age of 25, and you tended to stick together.  But with Edwin recovering from an appendix removal and Brandon at his sister’s wedding, you knew you would be spending the night alone.
You tugged at the turtleneck of your itchy green sweater as you stood in the tacky foyer of your boss’s home.  It was early in the night--too early, in fact, for you to be sweating the way you were.  It definitely didn’t help that you were on your third glass of wine, too tempted by the sweet release of alcohol to limit yourself to one glass.  You couldn’t bring yourself to watch Phyllis from marketing do karaoke to “Sweet Caroline” completely sober.
The dim lighting of the room reflected off of the glitter and sequins on various sweaters, making your head start to pound lowly.  Between that, the cheesy karaoke songs, and the heat of the room, you knew you had to escape somehow.  Looking around for an exit, you immediately became flustered.  There was no way out without being noticed.  You thought you were doing well at concealing your discomfort until a hand tapped on your shoulder.
“Need some air?”
When you turned to face the hand’s owner, you were stunned in your place.  You had never seen your boss’s son, only heard stories about through the insane amount of office gossip.  Mr. Mara was quick to shut down any and all rumors about his son, but the gossip never stopped.  One thing that you heard was definitely true.  Nick Mara sure was handsome.
Even in an electric blue, polyester sweater with a tabby cat on the front that said “Meowwy Christmas,” his handsomeness and charm showed through.  Maybe it was the way his ringed fingers curled around the neck of a cold beer, or maybe it was the shiny silver Rolex on his wrist.  Either way, Nick looked like the walking intersection of wealth and beauty.
“No, no, I’m okay…” you answered politely, holding onto the stem of your wine glass that much tighter.
The boy just quirked an eyebrow at you, taking a quick scan of the room before leaning in close. “I know how to get out in a way that no one will see.”
“Sneaking out of the annual, mandatory office party? I think that would be case for dismissal from the company.” You joked back, trying to hide the hitch in your breath at his close proximity.
The tanned boy’s eyes gleamed with mischief. “Well then it must be a good thing that my dad can’t fire me.”
“Must be nice,”  you scoffed playfully.  “Some of us don’t have the luxury of being family.”
The glint in the young man’s eyes seemed brighter than ever.  “Fair.  So I’ll take that as a yes, you want to get out of here?”
You barely had a chance to smile before the boy was disappearing into the crowd of older bodies.  It was difficult to keep up with him, seeing as he undeniably knew his house better than you did.  But when you followed him into a dim hallway and down three steps, you were met with a sliding glass door.  After taking the first step outside, you smiled widely.
The air felt cool on your skin, soothing the blooming itchy patches on your arms and neck.  It was dark outside, the only light coming from the party behind you.  Nick kept walking in front of you, leading you further out into what you could only assume was the backyard.  Three lawn chairs stood unceremoniously in the large patch of grass, and Nick claimed one.  He patted the seat next to him, and it took a second for your slightly tipsy figure to sit down comfortably.
“I never introduced myself!”  You mumbled quietly.  “I’m--”
“Y/N,”  Nick cut you off.  “I know.  My dad talks about your work all the time.  He says that if he didn’t have me, he would let you run the company someday.”
You choked on the red wine that you had been sipping on.  “Are you fucking kidding me?!  I just do cover designs.  It’s only like my third year here.  I don’t even work at the main location.”
“I know,”  Nick chuckled slightly, taking a sip of his frosty beer.  “But he loves your work.”
You sighed, letting your head that suddenly felt too heavy rest on the dirty cushion of the lawnchair.  You had no idea that your boss thought so highly of you, especially highly enough to talk to his son about you.  Either way, you were flattered.
Next to you, Nick sat quietly, sipping occasionally on his beer.  You momentarily grazed his profile, taking in the sharp curve of his jawline and the casual quiff of his hair.  He truly was handsome, a trait that you knew he definitely did not get from his father.
You liked your boss a lot.  He was extremely caring and kind hearted when it came to his staff, but you couldn’t help but think he was a little bit selfish for hiding his son from the office.  You heard Nick worked occasionally at the main office in the city, whereas your desk was located at the smaller outlet in the suburbs.  You had never considered a location change...until now.
“So why are you here?”  Nick suddenly asked, leaning back in his chair comfortably.
“This is mandatory for us normal people, remember?”
Nick nodded.  “Right.  But have you ever thought about coming just to show your face and then leaving early?”
You chuckled, taking another long swig of your wine.  “Tried that last year.  When I showed up on Monday, Janet and Eunice in editing were telling the whole graphics department that I left for a booty call.  So I don’t think that’s the best solution.
Nick laughed loudly, clamping a hand over his mouth in an attempt to muffle the sound.  “I’m sorry.  I know I shouldn’t be laughing, but that’s the funniest thing I’ve ever heard.”
“I know.  At the time it sucked, but looking back on it, it’s hilarious.  They were just salty they haven’t had any dick since their divorces.”
“Cute and sassy, I like it,”  Nick chuckled.
You turned in his direction, quirking an eyebrow at his still-smiling frame.  “Cute?”
“Very.  You’re lucky you left the ugly sweater party early last year, because I was literally walking over to ask for your number as you were walking out.  I had to wait a whole 365 days to see you again.  I was happy to see you in a new sweater this time.”
You looked down at your Grinch-green fuzzy sweater and laughed.  “So you have an ugly sweater fetish...cute.”
Now it was Nick’s turn to laugh.  “I think I’m more just attracted to the beautiful woman who’s wearing the sweater.”
“Smooth,”  you teased, letting the last bit of red wine slide down your throat.  Despite the warmth flooding to your cheeks, the cold December air was beginning to bite at the tip of your nose.  You could tell Nick was feeling the same way as he shivered slightly in his seat.  “You cold?”
He shook his head.  “It’s better than being in the house with all those stuffy people.”
You hummed softly, eyes trained on the house in front of you.  You could vaguely see the silhouettes of people in the house, and you chuckled when you saw the dancing had begun.  Nick seemed to notice at the same time, shaking his head before taking another swig of his beer.
“You know, you never asked me.”  You started.
Nick looked confused.  “Asked you for what?”
“We’ve been out here for well over ten minutes and you haven’t asked me for my number.  I thought you would have at least gone with me to my car by now.  But maybe that’s just the Meiomi talking.”
Nick was taken aback, not used to such a blunt nature in girls.  His cheeks began to hold a pink hue, and he wished he could blame it all on the cold.  But as he stole a glance at the smirk on your face, he knew it was all you.
“Y/N, are you implying that we should ditch the annual, mandatory ugly sweater office holiday party?”
“That’s exactly what I’m saying,”  you turned to him with a devilish smile.  “But for an actual booty call this time.”
