i was randomly thinking about this anon ask a couple months back about nice and heitor's proposal mirroring kghn.

I agree with previous me's stance that the two things if anything, intentionally have opposing sentiments. Kagehina's promise is about cementing each other and volleyball's place in their lives + the entire premise is about victory ie hinata is going to keep with volleyball so he can eventually defeat kageyama. On the other hand, Nice and Heitor's proposal is explicitly the complete opposite where it rejects the importance of victory and argues that volleyball shouldn't be all there is to life. I'm gonna pull up the panels so you can see.

But on reflection, I think anon's point had some merit to it. Nice's proposal might not mirror kghn's but it does apply to them because in the end, hinata's victory wasn't an ending for kagehina and was rather just a blip on their neverending story of life and volleyball with each other. Sure victory and defeat matter but they're not the end all be all of life.

Plus, chapter 397 shows us that what Nice says about thinking Heitor's amazing whether win or lose, 5 years ago or 10 years from now is true of kghn too. Hinata's been trying to reach the pedestal that he puts Kageyama on, much in the same way Heitor has to prove himself worthy of Nice but Nice and Kageyama have thought they were great the entire damn time. The pedestal didn't matter (even when it did).

So yeah, idk if anon still follows me or if they ever did but I hope you see this!

I need to know how you feel about Tim’s christmas decorations. I feel like there were some Jill influences there, like a whole shelving unit of signs, but it’s not 100% Jillified with every inch of space covered in knick knacks.

I’m not sure if that’s because of Heidi being like “we don’t need these dust collectors” or because Tim lives too far away for Jill to show up and clutter his house like she’s done to Kaylee and Jon’s
