thinking about be cool scooby doo fred on this delightful evening. he's afraid of widths. he gets emotional over a drumkit. he knows how to apply eyeliner perfectly. he's a sleep deprived, paranoid, manic danger to himself and others. he becomes enemies with a goat. his shoulders are so tense that they can break a chair. he goes to jail twice. where on earth did he get the funds to give the mystery machine all those high-tech upgrades. he hired a guy to make his epiphanies look more dramatic. the exterior of his house is an affront to god. he cannot take care of himself to save his life. he is a middle aged dad stuck in the body of an eighteen year old. he has childhood trauma related to halloween. he accidentally parked his van on a space shuttle. he is consistently aggravated by daphne’s commitment to the bit. he really needs to let go of those tiny red shorts. he's a court jester. he represents the order to his criminal father's chaos. he has control issues stemming from this but tries to overcome them for the sake of the gang and always apologises when he goes too far and knows that even when they wind him up it isn't a threat because he loves and trusts them so much and they care about him in turn even before he fully opens up to them about his childhood and—

the Ninth Doctor adventures have been so good so far. Planet of the End is a personal favorite of mine. I will die for Fred actually.

Okay, I think I understand the interpretation of the last section of Fred's last letter a lot better now (ty twt user who pointed it out)

How it is written: "For now, I don't think the..you know...mmm the letter exchange will be paused."

How I think me and a lot of other people...and tubbo probs saw it: "For now, I don't think the...you know. Mmm the letter exchange will be paused.

To simplify it more I think it boiled down to: "For now, I don't think the... (Changes mind). The letter exchange will be paused.

How I think it's meant to be read/interpreted (again a guess but it makes sense): "For now, I don't think the [...you know...] letter exchange will be paused."

The whole interpreted thing would be: "For now, I don't think the letter exchange will be paused."

I think that the "...you know...mmm" serves as an interrupter which made the sentence's actually meaning very blurred.

I think that interrupter messed a lot of us up in actually digesting what was said (which is no fault to the actual admin ik language, especially English, is a bitch when it comes to that)

So no, i don't think the whole thing misinterpretation is because tubbo is dyslexic because he read it exactly how it is written.

It's the tones and certain pauses that made it harder to understand. Because, as you can tell, you can interpret what was said in 2 ways. It's now obvious after what was said by tallulah, the 2nd interpretation seems to be the actual interpretation.

2. She is 1000% down to do whatever shenanigans of the week the rest of the gang is up to. When I think of this, I’m mostly picturing her with other OCs, but in general, if it’s her friends, and she’s comfortable enough, though she’s not as loud with her ideas, she will 100% help you rob a bank.

6. It definitely depends on the situation. She doesn’t encounter many situations that go against her moral code, but if she did, it wouldn’t take much more than a threat against her or the people that she loves. Bluebelle will stick to her morals, but she is not willing to risk injury or harm to her friends, or to herself, though the latter of the two depends on the situation, and how bad morally the action is.

10. Bluebelle’s backstory is already pretty much a fairytale au, but that’s still a go to, but outside of that is a detective sitcom with the rest of the gang. And this is not because I’m watching Psych for the first time what do you mean.

By Detective sitcom I mean anything from Murders She Wrote to Scooby Doo. Just her and her friends investigating spooky situations. It’s so so fun.

Bluebelle would be the quiet type best for gathering intel undercover, as a security guard or something, mostly where her job would be snooping around. She would NOT be good at talking to suspects or witnesses. She could just if push came to shove, but it’s just not her forte.

14. Bluebelle just really, really wants to be loved and trusted. Victoria is her person, so she really, really cares what she thinks. Misto and Plato definitely less so, but only by a slim margin. Bluebelle cares so so much for her people, and wants them to do the same for her

"Well, at least I won't be working for her for too long," he continued, flashing an impish little smile to Emily, while Dorian was still eyeing the door, still trying to hold his tongue, as Randall continued, "I look forward to leaving her a nice, nasty little resignation letter before we go-I'll be sure to tell her she was a miserable boss, and I hope she has a miserable time finding someone to replace me!"

It's so frustrating that Sony blocks any viewings of Gene's fantastic appearance on Merv Griffin's show. Maddening because they have no intention of showing it. A dog in the manger. Also, I've seen Dick Cavett's interview with Fred Astaire and I sure would love to see the one Cavett did with Gene, but it's not on YouTube. What the heck? GK has more die hard fans around the world than does Mr. Astaire. Not that it's a contest.

I agree, it is frustrating. It’s a terrific interview. They could post it themselves or monetize mine. I don’t care, I’m not making any money on it. I was just excited to share it with other fans. I don’t see the point of hiding it away so no one can ever see it.

I also wonder about Dick Cavett’s interview or even his whole Parkinson interview. I’ve seen clips of it but I don’t think I’ve seen it in it’s entirety. And like you noted, Fred’s Parkinson interview is on YT in full. Why? I think they’re similar in popularity, appealing to Old Hollywood & musical fans alike. Why are Gene’s interviews so much harder to find? Why do they seem less likely to be released? At least The Tonight Show finally released Gene & Fred’s appearance together.

Thank you, I’m glad you liked my last video. What did you think of my YT shorts? I thought maybe people were tired of the longer videos. I don’t get much of response anymore (esp here on Tumblr) so it’s hard to know what people think. It’s hard to stay motivated. It takes time and energy to find quotes and photos, put together gifs and videos. Life’s been a little too rough lately to spend hours or even half a day on a post, just to “hear crickets”

I’m sure there’s more GK fans on Twitter and FB but I just don’t like the vibes there anymore. I left both & I’m not going back.

I can honestly say when I’m feeling blue, having a bad day or going thru a rough time, I (still!) look for a GK movie or video to cheer me up. I don’t think that will ever change. I’ve been rewatching him a lot lately. I’ll post when I can.
