“Don’t call me munchkin. Please.” Natasha said to Nakia, the Skywalker family filing out the front door. “I want to frighten my enemies..”

“What enemies?“ Luke inquired, searching the street for Biggs. Obi Wan and Ahsoka were coming along as well, meeting up at the rendezvous point.

“Niano Organa.”

Oh dear. The mention of one of her best friends nephew had Padme both concerned and tense. Looks like there will be a lot of tricks instead of just treating tonight.

“Natasha.” She started, giving her daughter a look. “Honey, have you talked to uncle Bail or the Principal?”

“Been there. Done that.” She dismissed, “Nakia and I are gonna get back at him, right?”

Luke tilted his head and hummed aloud. “Maybe he likes you? I see him staring at you all the time in class. What do you think Nakia?”

“Ew! Niano liking me?” She sounded more disgusted than when she had to sit and eat her brussel sprouts. Padme glanced between Nakia and her husband, expecting the latter to go along with their daughters plans.

Nakia let her cane guide her to where she knew Natasha was. She could hear her voice, and finally she found her.

She set down the package in front of Natasha. "My costume. What do you think? I think I'll look good as a scary witch."

She smiled, the scar on her face twisting in a way unfamiliar to it. She didn't often smile, but when she did it was always brightly.

“You do look spooky.” Natasha immediately gave Nakia a thumbs up. “Let’s go!”

This was her favourite time of year. While Luke loved Christmas and Leia adored the Summer, Natasha was the one out of the triplets who loved Halloween. If you don’t like dressing up as something scary, watching horror movies and terrifying everyone you come across during one of the best nights of the year, then there was something wrong with you.

That was just her opinion though.

Her blue eyes were as bright as her smile as she jumped the last step, landing in front of her parents and siblings.

“What do you all think of my costume?” She’d been wearing a brides dress. It was torn, bloody and covered in fake dirt. Her throat was ‘slit’ from ear to ear, with dirt on her body with black paint around her eyes. Unlike Luke who dressed as a Jedi, and Leia who was a warrior princess, Natasha was the corpse of a murdered bride who stalked the planet in search of revenge. Padme hadn’t been too much of a fan of the costume.

“Do you think Nakia and I look frightening!?” She asked, fixing her messed hair that would be painful to wash and brush later.
