as neat as i think froststar would be, i fear that nothing in canon will ever top "the unknown leader" fancomic in answering the question "what if an abused apprentice suddenly became responsible for an entire clan without processing that trauma and what would the realistic repercussions of that look like

Makes no sense to me when people have a "do Not follow me if you believe/don't believe xyz" in bio or post "unfollow me now if you think ___" Like, you're not seeing their posts, they're seeing yours. And wouldn't you want people who don't agree with you to follow you and see your posts? To learn something new, to change their minds?

Not that you have the obligation to argue with any idiot who comes across your blog ofc -- but why not make opposing viewpoints available to people who may be mis/uninformed? My blog policy is the same as a library: the ideas and resources are open to whoever, but if you make too much noise I reserve the right to kick u tf out.

ok so your first problem was assuming mdzs is a story where Good People are Rewarded and Bad People are Punished.

your second problem was assuming that MXTX—who goes out of her way to showcase unresolved, tragic, undeserved endings in all of her works—would ever write a story with such a shallow notion of “deserving.”

the only reason wangxian makes it out unscathed is because they’re literally the protagonists. authorial intent and plot armor ensure their happy ending. that’s it.

Not really sure, honestly. For a long time I didn’t even think about that, just went with whoever was decently looking and nearby, and then I met Whizzer.
