911 really is such a good reminder of the particularly kind of joy that is weekly, seasons-long shows with many episodes per season. every character gets a moment to shine even in a truncated season. the satisfaction of seeing characters grapple with stuff that happened YEARS ago. having multi-episode arcs and one-off arcs that are equally enjoyable. beach episodes (metaphorical). I know we're all saying this all the time but why can't more tv be like this

#911 #911 spoilers #lauren feels things #do I hate waiting week to week for this show?#of COURSE #but it's so fun to run to youtube after an episode and watch the promo for next week #(why don't weekly streaming shows do promos btw? we should bring those back)#this week's 911 really was such a SHINING example of this #in one episode we got:#HUGE bobby exploration #bathena content #major hen exploration #AND henren content #eddie breakthrough #buddie content #callbacks to seasons 1 and 2 in MANY ways #tommy content!! that confrontation with his old shitty captain did so much in such a short time #we didn't get enough chimney or madney for my taste #but that's only because I can LITERALLY never get enough of them #and chimney had a hUGE episode 2 episodes ago so that's okay #and!!!!!! this is after a whole week spent JUST on bobby!#that was so compelling!!!#and in a 10 episode season still feels like we're getting to everything #the callback to dosed #the return of bobby's suicidal ideation #I mean jesus CHRIST #I'm so glad he and athena talked about the book #also I would loooooove love love another bobby chimeny convo about this at some point #bc that scene in s1 when bobby tells chimney about his plans to kill himself #is one of my favorite scenes it's SO good

It's up to interpretation)#Long post #I'm so sorry I didn't mean for it to be THIS much #I started this like a week ago -A-#Lies down and lets out a long howl it's finisheeeeeed #I could have just drawn them spooning and written the rest but noooo I love to do things the hard way #Anyway I think they should be bed buddies #The company helps Cross relax enough to sleep and the touch helps knock Killer out #Cross has to be big spoon because otherwise Killer's soul gets squished and it's too uncomfortable to sleep #Also I realised Cross and Nightmare are the only two in the castle who didn't have knock knock jokes in their backstory #I like to imagine Nightmare has had similar confusing interactions with at least one of them #Cross probably spends the rest of the day panicked that he overstepped a boundary or the others will make fun of him #Not realising that Dust and Horror have fallen asleep together many times #Or that Killer hasn't slept properly in weeks and he's in heaven #I'm NOT drawing a follow up so just imagine Killer coming to Cross's room the next night and finding every excuse to stay #Because he wants it to happen again but he has no idea how to ask (and also Cross seems kinda awkward about it)#Absolutely terrified that I spent my whole week off working on this and it might be not that great so I hope at least one person likes this

Pigeon studies

Okay so long story short, my love for pigeons reignited over the last few days and I drew only pigeons for like a week to the concern of everybody who saw me enter that state of mind.

The first three are drawn based few different pigeon shots I found, the two after that are referenced from my weirdly pixelated vacation pics and the last one is so high quality because my bestie @wilczuuu let me use one of their gorgeous photos for reference.

Also just for fun I filmed the last one as a timelapse to see that that would look like

I struggle a lot with bird anatomy and while these drawing made me get a firmer grip on that, I'm still super confused about that. So if anyone has some experience with drawing birds and would like to share some tips I would be very thankful.

Very glad my team gets the option to work from home for quarter-end week 😌☕🥐

#ore no kao #especially with an 8:30 3-hour meeting i almost went into the office for since i wanted my second gym day for the week #but seeing a friend last night--really fun/hot (still loving how he loved my ass and how i was blowing his cock 😌😌😌)--ran way late lol #[we grabbed drinks nearby then brought him to my place as it was pouring so that was a nice excuse to remove shirts lol #but ugh between his chest hair his eyes his lips his dick his ass his being a bit taller than me... what was i adding here again]#[he works at a museum and gets freebies sometimes so we did talk about seeing one nearby sometime and we got on really well over drinks too #[had met him at the queer liberation march last year and we stayed in touch some on IG but we saw each other on a site and he hit me up]#[i still have his umbrella since my roomie was in the bathroom with it as he was leaving so that's incentive for next time haha]#anyway should probably try to get some work done 🥱

its so hard to watch time pass when things like careers and assignments exist. what do you mean im supposed to take that seriously

#I have an assignment that was due a week ago and I really really dont want to do it. I have to but i dont want to #im probably making it worse because my brain has built a wall around it so now i can’t do literally anything else until thats done. but #because I don’t want to do it I’m just kinda stuck. turns out this is what they meant when they said emotional regulation is part of #exec dysfunction.. I’ll have a thought like if I get a little bit of it done now i can get it over with. I can just submit something #and then not even 5 minutes later itll be like ugh but I have to draw all the assets out. I have to write things and make spreads ugh #and its just flopping between those two things. i hate it when ppl are like well how much time do you need to work on one thing #because BOY id love to know too. I’d love to know exactly when my brain wants to cooperate with me and work around that but I cant #even my period can’t decide when it wants to punch me in the stomach. which is kinda funny in the grand scheme of things but still #its so weird im just lying on my bed thinking abt all this like damn.. the time will pass anyways no matter what I decide to do.. damn….#if I submit that assignment now and take the L I literally won’t die. it’ll just be a deduction on an assignment nobody will ask me about #I know this but I’m still stressing myself about it so my thoughts aren’t really connecting to my body. weird #maybe its because Im having a hard time looking forward to things. theres definitely a lot I should be living for but I don’t really feel #a strong attachment to it I guess? it’s been like this for a while with holidays and meeting with friends so I just don’t #I kinda figured its because im pretty passionless and its more like passing interest. but it’s not very fun when it feels like I’m going to #be living distraction to distraction for the next 70 years or so lol #idk it kind of feels like slowly bleeding out. which is funny because I actually did experience blood loss this week #had a 30 minute nosebleed and literally could not stand. also it felt like someone was pinching the back of my brain which was interesting #yapping #does this count as vent #vent #Ive just been making an oc carrd and contemplate changing my blog header for the past 3 days honestly
