Watching Coit hold her and just look at her with amazement was perfect! He loves babies so he was so gentle with her.

Addy and Noah are so in love with their baby sister and Noah didn’t want to stop holding her!

Yall so convinced you can spoil a newborn with affection, it disgusts me. How are you gonna spoil a human so young that they're not old enough to understand manipulation? 3 months old, oh no, what a mastermind, lemme just let her scream instead of doing my damn job and oh I don't know comfort her.

Good?? That's kind of the fucking point. Some of yall have had some rough childhoods and you don't even know it.

I loathe the cry it out method. And I don't see the point of letting a baby scream, and I'm not talking about the tiny whimpers or their little pouty cries. I'm talking full on SCREAMING—which, btw, comes from hunger, gas, or overtired—all of which, need you to pick them up and soothe them because they're INFANTS.

Changing things up around here and posting a very tasteful collection of some very demure men in their pure white wedding dresses that are as perfectly fitted and pristine as they were in their first fitting and none of them are about to have babies out of wedlock unless they hurry up and waddle down that aisle to say "I do."

today we are going all in with the beginning of the three-day fully-naked potty training bootcamp.

So Tim comes home with a baby one day.

Obviously everyone's like o.o!!!!! O^o!!!! Baby!?!??!

Tim explains that he got cloned (happens to the best of us) and he couldn't just leave it and its a baby so he couldn't bring himself toooo...despose of it so he bought it home.

After his usual paranoid 'what if this is a ploy to destroy me' tirade and Tim's 'kons a clone and he's good', Bruce is actually pretty exited to have his first grandchild and everyone else dotes on there new nephew. New borns are difficult but Alfred is the biggest support and the kids host of aunty's and uncles are more than happy to baby sit when Tim needs a brake.

Plot twist.

As the kid grows he starts acting...weird. and not kid weird, just weird. His kainines are a little to sharp, his ears noticeably grow points, his eyes start glowing in the dark. Some of his nonsensical babbling starts to sound like a language, nothing anyone knows though, and Tims pretty sure he saw him float once. Obviously everyone's grown attached to the child and Tim's beside himself because what's going on with his son???

Then, one day, Tim runs into a man. He's got noticeably pointed ears and to sharp kainines and, from his place just behind the streetlights, his eyes seems to glow.

"Look...this is um. This is gonna be a little difficult."

He starts with and Tim blanches, hesitating but not moving. The man holds the back of his neck in an effort to self-sooth, braking eye contact for a moment. He trys again.

"A while ago someone tryed to clone me" a loud pause as a car thunders past. "I went to go and find them but when I got there, they where gone." his hand comes down from his neck to fiddle with his hoodie strings, deep blue eyes looking back at Tim. "I think" another pause, this one silent. "I think you have them, don't you?"

And Tim has his very worried suspicions confirmed. They had tested the baby to see if his DNA had been mixed with someone else's. There had been an indication it was but nothing solid and until the kid had started manifesting all there strange characteristics, Tim hadn't worried about it outside of the usual 3AM panicking.

The man explains that his name is Danny and he has a very...unique condition that certen people have been trying to replicate over the years. That they probably mixed his genes with a normal person's (Tim might have sniggered at that if he wasn't so scared shitless) in an attempt to make the clone more stable.

He apologises for getting him tangled up in this and says if Tim will just show him where the clone is, he'll get it out of his hair and take care of it. This is the point at which Tim puts his foot down. No one is getting his son 'out of his hair' and certnely not 'takeing care' of him.

Strangely enough, Danny seems relieved that Tim is so resolute about it, saying he's glad his son has been so well taken care of and assuring him that he has another clone who he loves alot.

They eventually figure the situation out with Danny explaining more about his 'condition' and even looking sad when Tim describes the boy and how grown he already is.

It turns into a really weird co parenting dynamic that gose through alot of growing pains.

Gravity Falls, the first year after canon:

Kids start school basically as soon as they get home. Wendy and Co. go back into high school. Dipper starts boxing lessons at a local gym.

Stan and Ford get the Stan O' War II operational around the end of September, making a detour to sail south and see the kids before heading to the Arctic. Meet the Pines parents! (I really wanted them there for Thanksgiving, but I couldn't justify delaying their voyage by a whole three months. And end of September situates their sailing right after Yom Kippur, which from my limited understanding seems nicely symbolic.)

The kids + parents spend Thanksgiving with their dad's side of the family. May involve a belated realization that no one told Grandpa Shermie he has two brothers again. Oops? Situation is rectified.

Through the Magic of Christmas and a fortuitous run-in with Santa, Stan and Ford unexpectedly get to go home for Christmas! They even get to visit Piedmont and (with the kids) Gravity Falls before they zip back to their boat. Lots of reunions. This is also when Soos and Melody announce they've just gotten engaged. :)

Spring is less eventful in terms of California-Oregon-Arctic traffic.

The second school lets out, the younger twins are racing the older ones to Oregon. It's a photo finish probably. Everyone crowds into the Shack, which is fuller with Soos and Abuelita there, but it's also full of secret rooms and a floorplan that makes no sense, so it's fine.

Stan and Ford's birthday is on June 15!! It is a Very Big Deal. Dipper and Mabel go all out on the party planning, though they keep it mostly confined to the Shack crew.

Somewhere in here (maybe at the start? maybe in the middle?) Dipper and Mabel's parents come up for a couple weeks of vacation. It's a little disorienting for everyone, but they learn to love the town and Mabel and Dipper love getting to share it with them.

Soos and Melody get married on July 13 - Melody is making a Statement with that choice of date, which Soos understands and is overjoyed by. Half the town is at the wedding and all of it is at the reception (even though anyone not on the limited guest list has to pay admission. Stan is weeping with pride).

McGucket uses his new wealth to throw a ludicrously wild and extravagant shindig for the town on the date of the traditional Northwest party.

Despite the reach of NMAT, everyone feels unsettled on the anniversary of Weirdmageddon. People end up congregating in the town square in the evening. Wendy and her gang start a bonfire, people start bringing out food, and suddenly people are singing apocalypse folk songs? Trading stories? It's a whole thing in the end, but it helps people make something fun out of their memories.

The summer ends on a better note for the whole town, though, with a blow-out party to celebrate Mabel and Dipper's fourteenth birthday. This year their parents come up to give them company on the trip home, so they get to be there for the party too!

Im gonna say it. The newborn stage sucks ass. It was awful. Genuinely horrible experience. But! The actual infant stage? Great. So good. My son farts in the bath and instead of screaming bloody murder he just stares at me like i was the one who farted. So good. He’s just learning how to laugh and makes a choking noise while smiling. If you aren’t watching you actually do think he’s choking. Isnt that funny as fuck? He has like. A baby personality. How do people say kids don’t hve personality till they are like 4? Dude. My son is so fucking goofy silly but also oh so serious for a baby. It’s hilarious. I sneezed and he looked at me like i just slapped him??? If i say the phrase “kiss the fist” he dies of laughter. You can’t tell he doesn’t have a personality yet lol.
