DICK GRAYSON ── .✦
Dick insists on going out for New Year’s Eve. He loves the energy of the city and wants to celebrate with you in style.
He takes you to a rooftop party with the best view of Gotham’s fireworks. He’s that guy pulling you onto the dance floor and spinning you around until your cheeks hurt from smiling.
When the countdown begins, he gets super excited, holding your hands and hyping up the moment like, “This is it! Best year yet, babe!”, “it’s just new years dick calm down.”
At midnight, he gives you a movie-worthy kiss, dipping you slightly for dramatic effect.
After the party, you both grab late-night street food and walk around the city, talking about your hopes for the new year.
JASON TODD ── .✦
Jason prefers a quieter New Year’s Eve at home, but he doesn’t mind doing something small if it makes you happy.
He sets up a cozy evening with your favorite snacks, drinks, and a movie marathon. “This is better than overpriced parties and sweaty crowds, right?”
As the clock nears midnight, he’ll make a sarcastic comment like, “Think 2025 will be the year Gotham finally gets its act together?”
At midnight, he gives you a sweet kiss and mumbles, “Here’s to another year of putting up with me.
If you want to do something fun, he might take you to a rooftop to watch fireworks. He holds you close and pretends it’s just for warmth, but he’s smiling the whole time.
TIM DRAKE ── .✦
Tim’s ideal New Year’s involves a mix of productivity and relaxation. He plans a cute night in where you can both reflect on the past year and set goals for the new one.
He buys a journal or a vision board for the two of you to fill out together. “Okay, what’s your most unrealistic goal for this year? Let’s make it happen.”
He struggles to stay awake as midnight approaches, though. You catch him dozing off during a movie, and he grumbles when you wake him. “I’m not asleep I’m resting my eyes.”
At midnight, he kisses you softly and murmurs, “Thanks for making this year better.”
If you want to go out, he’ll humor you with a cute date to a low-key café or a small gathering with friends.
DAMIAN WAYNE ── .✦
Damian treats New Year’s as a time to improve himself. He’s not into big parties, but he’ll indulge your preferences to make you happy.
If you want to stay in, he sets up a fancy dinner for the two of you with candles and elegant dishes he helped Alfred prepare. “We’ll celebrate properly, without the chaos.”
He rolls his eyes at New Year’s resolutions but secretly sets a few for himself, especially involving you. “Fine. I resolve to… be more patient with you.” (You tease him for that.)
At midnight, he gives you a shy but heartfelt kiss and says, “I’m glad you’re in my life this year.”
If you convince him to watch fireworks, he’ll grumble about the noise but eventually relaxes when you lean against him.
BRUCE WAYNE ── .✦
Bruce makes New Year’s a classy affair. He takes you to a gala or hosts an elegant party at Wayne Manor.
He’s by your side the whole night, introducing you to important guests and making sure you feel like the most important person in the room.
At midnight, he’ll find a quiet corner to steal a private moment with you, giving you a soft, lingering kiss and whispering, “Thank you for making this year so much brighter.”
If you prefer something low-key, he’ll cancel all plans and spend the evening with you at home. You’ll share champagne by the fire, reminiscing about the past year.
He’s the type to surprise you with a meaningful gift at the stroke of midnight, like a bracelet engraved with the date or a key to the Manor if you don’t already live there.

CONGRATS ON 200 FOLLOWERS!! For your event could I request the arranged marriage troupe?
Oh and happy new year!!! I hope you have a great 2025 :)
thank you so much and i wish you a great 2025 too!! hope you like this hehe <3
sendou would have never imagined this happening to him in real life.
sure, even if arranged marriages feel like a thing of romance novels, they still happen among children of conglomerates and bureaucrats, but with him? he might be japan's most beloved striker and he might be rising in the popularity rankings among japanese tv personalities, but he's barely made a name for himself internationally and was still nowhere important enough to warrant a strategic marriage.
but apparently, his messy love life was affecting his celebrity image badly enough for his agency to propose an arranged marriage. the most rational choice was you, a singer under the same company, who boasts the title of japan's most eligible bachelorette. the public loves your pure image, carefully crafted by your company and your impeccable media training.
obviously, sendou's unhappy with this. he wanted to rise to the global stage and marry a hollywood actress and flaunt her at the met gala, not sit across you and have this meeting on your expectations for the marriage. he silently laments his predicament. his company could have set him up with a flashier idol singer or a more glamorous actress; why did it have to be you, a singer-songwriter who he's seen in sweats when you bump into each other in the hallways of the company building?
you manage to charm even his picky mother, and by the end of the wedding ceremony, you've won over all his friends and relatives. although sendou was reluctant to marry you, he acknowledges your charisma and way with words, so he's not surprised. hell, his heart was even pounding while you said your vows, glittering under the warm lighting with your hands in his.
five months into your marriage, sendou realises he's forgotten all about his dreams of a flashy showbiz romance. instead, he's fallen head over heels in love with the simplicity of the new life he's created with you.
despite the initial awkwardness, the two of you fall easily into a routine. in the mornings, you prepare breakfast for him and sendou sends you to work before he heads for training, and when he's done with training, he picks you up and you cook dinner together. on weekends, sendou takes you out for a meal, and you plan an activity to do together. conversation comes easily during the little pockets of time the two of you intentionally carve out for each other, and with the irrevocability of your marriage, the two of you iron out any conflicts with the sole intention of coexisting harmoniously.
it's completely different from anything sendou's experienced. his past girlfriends would insist he bring them to a nice restaurant for their dates, expect him to shower them with presents and attention, and openly flaunt his wealth and fame. when he failed to meet any of their expectations, the relationship is over. but with you, he sees the content smile on your face when he fumbles around the kitchen trying to cook you something while you're sick, and he realises that he doesn't need to push himself to impress you.
it's enough for him and enough for you to be able to see each other after a long day of work and decompress by singing loudly in the car, and it's enough to talk about the weather while you hang up the laundry together. it's enough to hear your laughter when he falls for another one of your pranks, and it's enough to have you handing him tissues when he catches your flu.
sendou learns that it's not all about the fame and money, but sometimes, it's about the way his heart sings when your eyes meet across a busy table when someone says something stupid.

Teaser:
When you were very young, you used to pray to God to send you an angel for some sort of protective presence in your life. Your father, Lorenzo Valencia, worked under one of the worst crime bosses in New York City and was quick to anger under pressure from his job. You knew your father loved you, but he never showed it in the right ways.
Perhaps that's why you fell so hard for Bobby- here was a man who put the women in his life above everything, wanting to do right by them and protecting them even when it seemed an impossible task. He was the complete opposite of your father.
That's what you thought, at least. Bobby could be relentless in his work, ruthless, sometimes even cruel.
He was still the man you loved, though, still the bright-eyed, determined young man you got to know back in 1948. That was when the world seemed new, when dinner parties and galas and keeping secrets from your father were your only real issues.
The year was 1948, and you didn't know it, but you were about to meet the man that would change your life forever.

Voyage’s End - for now that is!
Saturday 2nd November 2024 – Malaga, Spain.
There was another Gala Evening for dinner last night and the usual ‘bruhaha’, with Caviar hors d’oeuvres, a Captain’s raffle for a sea chart the crew had scribbled all over (!) and certificates for the 9 passengers who climbed the mast yesterday.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then in the restaurant, the Hotel Manager had to drag out the chefs and parade the serving staff again!
Tumblr media
The menu, however (in German again!) while attempting to ‘pull out all the stops’ for the last night, offered essentially lobster or lobster and steak ie. ‘Surf ‘n Turf’, unless you chose the Pepperonata - a kind of veggie stew!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
If I’m honest, I’ve tasted much better lobster elsewhere but it was ok and it is a wonder what the chefs manage to produce from the tiny galley. And the Warm Chocolate Lava Cake was quite nice too!
Tumblr media
Arriving in Malaga pre-dawn, we were greeted by Wind Star again (she was in Tarragona the day we left and arrived from Almeria yesterday apparently.
Tumblr media
However, the even nicer sight was that of our sister ship Sea Cloud Spirit – the one I sailed on two years ago! She’s slightly bigger but not by much
Tumblr media
Both Sea Cloud ships will be sailing together down to the Canaries and it should make for some great photos – I’d have loved to be on that one!
Disembarking a Sea Cloud ship with only 71 passengers is a world away from your ‘normal’ hectic cruise ship disembarkation. For a start, my suitcase didn’t have to be outside my cabin until 7am this morning! And when you’re ready, you just walk off – and Captain Kathryn was at the foot of the gangway to shake my hand and say all those nice things…..I’m such a pushover!
My prearranged taxi was already waiting and I was at the Airport in no time. Mind you, while check-in was relatively painless, discovering that British Airways doesn’t have it’s own lounge at Malaga and there was a long queue for the so-called ‘VIP Lounge’ was a salutary lesson in humility – just about everybody and his dog (literally) were in there!
Tumblr media
Mind you, my choice of the Mascarpone Panzerotti for lunch was a pleasant surprise; it was delicious - and it took my attention from the spoiled little brat jumping up and down in his seat in front of me!
Tumblr media
Ah well, back to the ‘real world’……no, I don't live in Windsor Castle!
Tumblr media
The next cruise will not be until February 2025, when Andrew & I set off for Auckland, New Zealand to join Regent Seven Seas Voyager for a cruise through French Polynesia to Tahiti.
In the meantime, here's the link to an Index of my Cruise & Bermuda Holidays from 2013 to date.

We’re just two months into 2025, and already the social events calendar for the year is stacked. Fashion month looms large with February on the horizon—and that means plenty of parties, dinners, and late nights at the style set’s favorite haunts and legendary venues in New York, London, Milan, and Paris. But before all that, Paris Couture Week arrives on Monday, January 27—which will come with it numerous fêtes. Back in New York City, the Whitney Museum is throwing its annual art party on January 28; this year, it’s disco-themed. On the gala front, the New York Philharmonic will host a Lunar New Year extravaganza on Tuesday, February 11. Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood is plotting its own starry gala for springtime in April. But for the moment, the stars are burrowing down in snowy, far-flung locales, like Aspen, Colorado, where celebs flock to venues like The Snow Lodge, a club-slash-bar-slash-restaurant in the St. Regis Hotel. Keep checking back here as we follow all the biggest parties of the year—and the celebs who attended them.Chloë Sevigny, Martha Stewart, Sandra Choi and The DareMatteo Prandoni for BFAOn Thursday, Feb. 6, guests joined Jimmy Choo creative director Sandra Choi and Chloë Sevigny for an intimate dinner to celebrate the brand’s spring 2025 campaign—in which Sevigny stars—at downtown hotspot Jean’s. Amanda Lepore and Cole EscolaMatteo Prandoni for BFALegendary musician Patti Smith, a longtime friend of the brand, performed alongside her daughter Jesse Paris Smith for a crowd that included Justin Theroux, Jack Harlow, Dree Hemingway, Brit Lower, Cole Escola, Amanda Lepore, Lisa Rinna, Japanese Breakfast, and Jemima Kirke.Kevin Sharkey and Martha StewartMatteo Prandoni for BFAMartha Stewart was also in attendance for the exclusive evening, which ended with a special DJ set by Grammy-nominated artist The Dare.New York Fashion Week got off to a quintessential start on the evening of February 5, courtesy of Saks Fifth Avenue. The retailer hosted its annual pre-NYFW fete at the newly opened Crane Club Restaurant in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood. Per usual, the event drew a mix of industry insiders and front-row regulars who enjoyed Saks-branded treats and their signature Champagne tower throughout the evening. Alex Consani, dressed in a sheer white dress, preferred a martini over the bubbles, however.Indie-pop darling Caroline Polachek delighted the crowd with a performance of her songs “Bunny Is a Rider,” “Sunset,” and “So Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings.” A sheer Kiki de Montparnasse slipdress and Gucci undergarments made up Polachek’s look for the evening.Laura Harrier, dressed to the nines in ruched velvet, joined Charli XCX collaborator The Dare and actors Thomas Doherty and Louisa Jacobson for the event. Also in attendance were designers like Rachel Scott of Diotima and Prabal Gurung, who got some deserved R&R before presenting the brand’s fall 2025 collections in the coming days.On Monday, February 3, designer Phillip Lim held his annual Lunar New Year party at the restaurant Coqodaq in New York City’s Flatiron District. The fete was thrown in collaboration with Hennessy, which kitted out the chic, dimly lit space with cognac-based cocktails of all kinds, including The Snake, a take on the classic Manhattan. Guests were treated to a Korean fried chicken dinner, replete with Hennessy pairings for each course.Moonlight director Barry Jenkins was in attendance, along with partner (and fellow filmmaker) Lulu Wang. The starry evening was filled with AAPI luminaries of the moment, like Prabal Gurung, Laura Kim, Eva Chen, and DJ/model Mona Matsuoka.Kim Shui (left), who will reveal her latest fall 2025 collection at New York Fashion Week, poses for a photo with Beverly Nguyen.Laura Jung was one of the many celebs of the evening who plucked red envelopes containing $2 bills from a faux maple tree that had been installed in the venue. What’s a Lunar New Year celebration without a dragon dance? Here, Hennessy’s Antoine Varlet gets a taste of the annual tradition for the first time. Xin nian kuai le!Michael Kors convened a VIP crowd at Bemelman’s Bar on February 3 to celebrate the opening of his new boutique just down the street on Madison Avenue—but the guest list culled heavily from Broadway. While he may be best known at the moment for hosting the fiendishly addictive reality show The Traitors, Cumming reminded everyone why he’s a Tony winner with a powerhouse three-song set that included “Mein Herr” and “The Ladies Who Lunch.” Very likely future Tony nominee (if not eventual winner) Nicole Scherzinger, currently starring in Sunset Boulevard, took a seat front and center to cheer on Cumming. A little to her left stood Tony winner Jane Krakowski.Of course, the event served as an unofficial kick-off to New York Fashion Week as well, and the fashion world was well-represented. Iman and Patti Hanson, both supermodels and longtime Kors friends (not to mention both the wives of rock royalty) had a sweet reunion. Katie Holmes, fresh off her own run on the Great White Way, turned up in a black gown that showed off her shoulders. Of all the galas, fetes, and parties held in New York’s many art museums, the Whitney’s annual Art Party is undoubtedly the wildest. This year the museum really let loose, turning its lobby into the Studio 54-inspired “Studio 99” for the night. DJs The Muses and Jenny Albright spun a steady procession of disco classics. Guests were invited to peruse the museum’s exhibitions upstairs, and could report back to the dance floor in an elevator outfitted with a bar serving Maestro Dobel tequila.Above, Housewife Jessel Taank, party co-chair Micaela Erlanger, Andrew Taylor, and Julie Beynon hold court. While Bianca Jagger and her white horse did not manage to swing through, Mischa Barton, wearing a glossy black mini-dress, did. Kate Moss turns 51 today, and just as we celebrated Chloë Sevigny’s birthday with a slew of her best going-out looks, we’re turning back the clock to review Moss’ best party ‘fits of all time. She changed the fashion game in the early ‘90s, encapsulating the “heroin-chic” era with her boyish looks and becoming a runway darling, walking for friends like John Galliano, Gianni Versace, and Alexander McQueen. Her generation-defining cheekbones were the starring feature of many a Calvin Klein campaign — and candid party picture.A few themes emerged when we scoured the archives. Firstly, all black is the go-to for the fashionable Brit, but if black won’t do, a metallic dress is the next best thing. Secondly, if you don’t own a fur coat (faux or not), it’s a must-have for looking ineffably cool going from car door to party entrance. Lastly, if you’re stuck in a style rut, a vintage slip dress and some heels are all you need to make an entrance (and equally enchanting exit). Keep reading to see our favorite Glastonbury girl’s best party fashion from 1993 to 2023. Elite Look Of The Year Contest, 1993Dave Benett/Hulton Archive/Getty ImagesThis look has done the rounds on both Tumblr and Instagram aesthetic pages, and is so cemented in fashion history that the Victoria & Albert Museum in London acquired the silver Liza Bruce dress for their archives.Random House Dinner Party, 1993Ron Galella, Ltd./Ron Galella Collection/Getty ImagesBook Signing, 1995Mitchell Gerber/Corbis Entertainment/Getty ImagesThis figure-hugging halter-neck dress paired so well with her spiky updo.CFDA Awards, 1995Ron Galella/Ron Galella Collection/Getty ImagesThe defining ‘90s fashion item, the slip dress, has no better home than on Moss’ figure.Met Gala Costume Institute Exhibition Opening, 1995Ron Galella/Ron Galella Collection/Getty ImagesAnother slip dress, this time in butter yellow, showing fashion is nothing but a large circle.Vogue Party, 1998Dave Benett/Dave Benett Library/Getty ImagesThis outfit could very well be from 2025. The quirky bag, the silver sandal, and the pulled-back hair are all staples in fashion girls’ street-style diet.De Beers & Versace Party, 1999Dave Benett/Dave Benett Library/Getty ImagesMoss and Naomi were Versace angels in smoky eyes and chainmail dresses, another combo heavily replicated to this day.NYLON Launch Party, 1999Arnaldo Magnani/Hulton Archive/Getty ImagesThis photo was new to all of our team, and is made the sweeter because it was at NYLON’s launch party!Talk Magazine Launch Party, 1999Evan Agostini/Hulton Archive/Getty ImagesA go-to look for Moss: an all-black dress and heels. When your cheekbones were sculpted by angels, you don’t need many accessories.Destiny’s Child Showcase Party, 2001Dave Benett/Dave Benett Library/Getty ImagesAnother look that has transcended time and trends to come back into fashion again. You could easily spot several girls wearing a variation on this look on any given Friday night in downtown New York.Mario Testino Party, 2001Dave Benett/Hulton Archive/Getty ImagesA new haircut and fresh-off-the-runway Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière. The beginning of the 2000s marked a move towards maximalist accessories, as obviously evidenced here. Mario Testino Book Launch Party, 2002Justin Goff/UK Press/Getty ImagesA hot-girl staple uniform. Strappy black dress? Check. Slouchy fur jacket? Check. Simple sandals? Check. Cigarette and sequin clutch in hand? Check.Dazed and Confused Exhibition Opening, 2003Mike Marsland/WireImage/Getty ImagesIs it Celine by Hedi Slimane, or is she really just that trend-setting? Her shaggy coat collection is extensive, as is her supply of hair oil.Glastonbury, 2004Brian Rasic/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty ImagesThis fur may feel extravagant for a muddy festival like Glastonbury, but when you’re Kate Moss, even a dirt path is a runway.30th Birthday Party, 2004David Westing/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty ImagesHer F. Scott Fitzgerald-themed 30th saw her ditching the straightener for some bouncy ‘20s curls, and this navy sequined dress marked a mature turn for a new decade.Debbie Harry Book Launch Party, 2004Gregory Pace/FilmMagic/Getty ImagesGlastonbury, 2005Matt Cardy/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty ImagesThe dress that launched a thousand mood boards — and her own Zara collection. This mishmash of a metallic cutoff dress, a low-slung belt, and wellies shows how Brits get down and dirty but never in sacrifice of glamour.Topshop Collection Launch, 2007Dave M. Benett/Dave Benett Library/Getty ImagesThe bang was a moment, as was this ladylike sequined bolero jacket.Gossip Concert Party, 2009Foc Kan/WireImage/Getty ImagesAs she gets older, she leans more into dressing like Zsa Zsa Gabor in rich furs and bias-cut dresses.Topshop Store Opening, 2010Antony Jones/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty ImagesA pantsless dresser before it was ever in the public consciousness. Sometimes all you need is a teased, sexed-up hairstyle and a blazer. AnOther Magazine 10th Anniversay Ball, 2011Dave M. Benett/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty ImagesThis simple black bodysuit is made all the more glamorous by the seafoam green stole.
