event  details:

out  of  character:  the  event  will  last  for  a  week,  starting  january  17th  @  4pm  est  /  10pm  cet  up  until  january  25th  @  12am  est  /  6am  cet.

in  character:  the  gala  will  commence  on  january  17th  at  8:00  pm  at  the  griffith  observatory.   a  formal  dress  code  is  required.  

participation  is  highly  encouraged,  remember  to  familiarize  yourselves  once  more  with  our  points  system  page  &  start  tracking  your  points,  which  you'll  soon  be  able  to  trade  in  for  rewards.  share  your  gala  attire  on  social  media  by  tagging  #starlet.event001  &  let  us  see  your  style  inspirations  leading  up  to  the  event  !

please  report  any  donations  made  by  attendees  to @starletgossip,  outlining  the  items  or  monetary  amounts  contributed.  

expect  real-time  updates  &  insights  from  our  platform  throughout  the  evening.  we  invite  attendees  to  submit  tips  or  news  (  again  to  starletgossip  )  to  enhance  the  event  experience.

once  the  event  concludes,  participants  welcome  to  either  continue  wrapping  up  threads  or  send  up  a  short  snippet  of  what  happened  with  their  muse  to  the  gossip  blog  during  the  event.  for  example,  if  you  have  plotted  something  between  muses  x  &  y  but  didn't  manage  to  play  out  during  the  event,  you  could  fade  to  black  &  send  details  to  the  gossip  blog  so  we  can  then  make  a  post  giving  the  rundown.

hello  lovely  members  !  we  want  to  start  off  by  thanking  you  all  again  for  joining  us,  we're  super  stoked  for  things  to  kick  off  &  can't  wait  to  meet  your  amazing  muses.  as  hosted  yesterday  in  our  ooc  server,  we  put  out  a  poll  for  opening  times  &  we're  happy  to  announce  that  the  poll  results  are  in  ...

most  of  you  voted  that  you  had  no  preference  in  terms  of  what  time  we  open  for  both  dates  so  we  went  with  the  second  most  popular  vote  -  we'll  be  opening  today  (  1/15  )  @  4pm  est  /  10pm  cet  for  ooc  interactions  &  friday  (  1  /  17  )  @  the  same  time  aka  4pm  est  /  10pm  cet  for  ic  interactions  !   that'll  give  everyone  a  whoopin'  48  hours  to  pump  out  intros,  gather  plots,  etc  -  which  we  feel  like  should  be  enough,  that  way  no  one  feels  stressed  or  overwhelmed.  if  you  have  any  questions  or  concerns,  you're  more  than  welcome  to  reach  out  to  us  via  the  main.

hi everyone ! we just wanted to quickly pop in with a little update regarding our characters & faceclaims sections of guidelines, specifically regarding picking a faceclaim + optional career claim. please, make sure you've read the ENTIRETY of this post as it contains important information to the group. once done, as a member, please LIKE this post to acknowledge that you've read & agree to these terms. thank you !

as of 01/12, we've implemented a new rule. all of our pages are now updated ! bolded is what has been updated.

make  sure  that  your  career  claim  is  appropriate  to  the  faceclaim  of  your  choice.  if  you're  picking  poc  career  claim,  your  faceclaim  MUST  be  poc  but  with  that  being  said,  any  fc  that's  not  black  will  not  be  able  to  pick  up  black  career  /  voice  claim.  you  do,  however,  need  to  be  mindful  of  picking  your  career  claims,  especially  if  their  career  ties  to  their  ethnicity  (  acting  gigs  where  they  play  characters  tied  to  their  ethnicity,  musicians  who  explicitly  state  it  in  their  music  ).  if  you're  uncertain  about  specific  career  claim,  we're  always  here  to  help !  in  short,  white  fc  =  white  cc,  bipoc  cc  =  bipoc  fc  &  poc  fcs  can  take  up  on  a  white  career  claim  !

hi my beloveds <3 i just wanted to say that we're (hopefully) getting all of your questions & nothing is getting ignored, my weekend turned out way busier than i expected & i didn't expect as much traction, so the inbox is quite busy & i'm prioritizing applications first & emptying the inbox from questions backwards, so that's the only reason why things are taking a bit slower but i am in the process of getting another pair of hands to help me around so this should be the last time things are slower ! i really appreciate your patience & thank you for respecting the time it takes me to reply 🖤 i just put out a blog @starletinspo, where we will be reblogging. our most wanted fcs, career claims, projects & anything you can think of so if you're stuck on who to bring, this is a place for you. and lastly, if you have any questions you need answered asap, our ims are open & it is so much easier & faster for me to answer, even when i'm lurking on mobile so always feel free to shoot us a message there ! once again, thank you for your patience & i promise, things will move on a bit faster very soon.
