i've said it before and i will say it again but disney seriously just needs to release professional recordings of all their broadway musicals. and anytime they or any other animation studio considers making a live action remake of something they should just make a broadway adaptation instead.

#LIKE i don't even inherently dislike live action remakes #cinderella 2015 my beloved #all of BATB 2017's new songs (especially evermore <3) my beloveds #but at this point i'm just. so so tired of the way their creators are always disrespecting the originals #there are a lot of book adaptations out there that would've been way better if they were animated too smh #and anyway. musical theater is SUCH an awesome and unique medium that forces you to get so much more creative #sven in frozen on broadway is just a guy on stilts in a big reindeer costume and it ROCKS
