So a lot of people have been asking ...what is Project: Daydream about? Well, we have ....a chart. Well not a chart persay. But some pictures. With words. Which is like a chart. Sorta.

Still, we wanted to give an idea about the show and its inspirations, alongside the general vibes and highlighting that this show is *very queer*.

WIP INTRO

What is it?

A mad science game about a field biologist clamoring for funding and slowly feeding his interns into the woodchipper for it. Map out an unexplored ecosystem, grow specimens in lab conditions, and collect the perfect holotype for each strange new critter, be that fungus or bat.

Specs

This game will be entirely in a 1-bit art style, meaning all black and white, and produced in Godot. It's going to be part merging game, part visual novel, and controlled entirely with a mouse. Once done, I'm going to release it for free, as always.

Status

Currently working on a playable proof of concept!

Been a while since a post on here, huh? That's gonna change, don't worry. Starting with the incredible news that...

PROJECT ARRHYTHMIA'S MAIN VERSION HAS BEEN UPDATED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOUR YEARS

For around the past four years, all the updates to the game have been only for beta versions that you had to opt into. After all that time, we're finally at a state where this new version of the game is stable enough to leave it.

It's impossible to overstate how insane this update is - the game looks NOTHING like the last version on the main branch. Though the gameplay is still pretty much the same.

Major features include: Built-in gradients in levels, the ability to move around the player and restrict their movement, new menus, a completely new level editor, and actual story mode levels/cutscenes.

Teknokrat is a gay romance visual novel set in a future painted by class war, poverty and technological oversaturation.

Your choices determine their fate. Three love interests, six endings, and a raving techno-trance soundtrack- all packed into a wild journey from the trudging temp lifestyle at the bottom of society to taking down a highly influential politician at the very top.

Teknokrat is currently in development, and is a solo project with art, story, programming and music by @artbyhauk.
