Of course, they never really talked about all the shit that had happened over the years but they somehow had managed to be happy.

A delayed honeymoon in a mysterious house throws them both off track and they are painfully reminded of their past.

Will they be able to let go of fear and guilt and painful memories? Will they be the same afterwards?

And the much more important question: Will Mickey manage to save Ian and himself?

..."Oh, fuck you Mickey. I took my shit, okay? I'm not going crazy!" Mickey raised his arms. "Never said otherwise." He said. "I know that look." He titled his head to the side and gave him a flat stare. "Okay, fine. The thought was there for a second, okay? But if you say you… ain’t crazy or some shit, I'll believe you, okay?" Mickey had still his hands in defense next to his head, as if Ian was a cop with a gun. "But you don't believe me with that?" He shook the key in his hand and something in Ian's tone made Mickey drop his arms and take a step toward him. "Allright. So a keyhole, you say?" Mickey stepped closer and reached for the key. Ian nodded and put it in his hand. Something in Ian's stomach turned. As if something important was being taken away from him. As if a mother's child was being ripped away from her and he felt pain spreading in his chest. Mickey turned the key over in his hand, looking at it closely. Then he lifted it up to Ian's temple...

A million thoughts go through his mind, but one thing is clear. He can’t keep the way he feels about Mickey to himself much longer.

Kidnapped at Christmas -- Chapter 1: The Club

"Yo!" someone shouts from the other side of the bar. "Can I get a beer?" When Ian looks up, he locks eyes with someone... familiar. No, not really, he doesn't know the guy or anything, but those eyes... Those piercing blue eyes that he recognizes from before. The ones that couldn't stop staring at him when he was on stage. The guy raises his brows, two annoyed points that jump up on his forehead. "Are you fucking deaf?" Ian blinks and his brain shuts down. His wires get crossed or something—the anger and the self-loathing intermix with lust and problem solving—and suddenly he has an idea. And then a plan. And absolutely nothing to stop him.

My new multi-chapter fic starts in one week!!! Here's a snippet from the first scene:

"I'm sympathetic, but this is Mister Gallagher's second offense this year. He's not learning his lesson. Let the record show, I'm sending him to three months at Lincoln Rock Workhouse Center for intensive community service. The bailiff will show you out.” He smacked the file onto the desk.

With that single motion, Ian's years of skirting the law and avoiding punishment came to a screeching halt.

This was it, this was the last time he was doing this shit. He was so sick, of being Terry’s errand boy, for putting his life, his future on the line. And for what?  

This was the last one.

He pulled up to the marina parking lot, killed the engine, and looked out at the harbor. A gorgeous day as ever for a hit. His target was the Emerald Star, an enormous luxury yacht floating in the sparkling blue water of the bay. He could almost sit back and enjoy the view, the sun glimmering off the pristine white boat. But he had a job to do.  

The place was crawling with uniformed and plain clothes security. He packed up his revolver and silencer in his briefcase, straightened his tie, adjusted his phony security badge, and made his way to the dock.

Just as he was about to climb up the ramp, he saw a flicker and splash in the water right off the starboard side. They got big ass fish out here, he thought. The splash turned into bigger waves disrupting the calm glassy surface of the water, and he swore he saw a flash of red and aquamarine swim away. Sun's starting to fuck with me.

Once on the yacht, he made his way through the party, desperate to get his hands on a glass of champagne or several shots of Belvedere. He had a job to do first though. He’d get this done, collect his share, and close the chapter on this miserable existence. Start his life for real. 

He spotted his target out on the deck. He grasped the suitcase handle tight, teeth grinding. He felt a headache coming on, the sun was beaming right into his eyes.

Another big splash off the side of the deck caught his attention. He looked over, and his heart jumped - now he knew the sun was fucking with him because out of the water emerged a beautiful creature. A man. With porcelain skin, crimson hair. He watched mesmerized as the man swam effortlessly closer. He knew he was going nuts now, because the man flicked ocean water right at him, with a glimmering sapphire tail. 

The beautiful man peeked his head up again out of the water, stared straight at him with emerald eyes, and mouthed one word: “Jump.”

And he did.

“I’m fucking bad.” For a second, Mickey looks confused, and Ian stutters to make himself more clear. “At shooting. I tried it a couple times; could barely hit the target.”

“Jesus. What a pussy.” Mickey says, then lapses into a silence which Ian thinks will lead to more. “I could teach you sometime, if you wanted.” He adds, turning his head away from Ian and offering up the cigarette again.

Ian’s stomach jolts. Was he just invited on a date? Did Mickey just offer to arrange to spend more time with him? Ian stops himself from reaching. Maybe Mickey’s just nice like that, even if he doesn’t seem it at first. Maybe Mickey just wants to be friends, and his way of doing that is by sharing his hobby.

I can't imagine the exciting chaos that would happen if @gallavichy ever updated one of her fics or wrote a new fic one day.

But like expect me to be in the front of the line if that ever happens. Like I'm so ready. Now or even a few years from now. Might jump up and down at first, but after, I'd be so glued to my phone reading.

With my Big Bang Story wrapping up...time for a new long one. This one is very much a work in progress and is my bridge from fanfic to completely original writing. I cannot wait to see where this story goes, but any and all feedback is appreciated!

EXCERPT:

The glass whizzing past his head, Ian wincing as the glass shatters against the wall.

           Mickey picks up the bottle and takes a pull while gesturing to Ian to sit, “I said sit, fucking sit.”

           Ian moves to chair in front of Mickey and hesitantly sits down, “Jesus Mickey, you could have hit me with that.”

           With an evil chuckle, “Oh Darlin’, if I wanted to hit you, I would have.” Lighting a cigarette and staring Ian down with scrutiny that has shivers going through Ian. Ian now very aware of the shortness of the denim shorts he wore out to go dancing with friends after work.

          Ian shook off the shivers and tugged on his top, watching Mickey take a few drags before reaching for it. Mickey took one more drag and handing it to Ian, their fingertips grazing.

         “Wash, rinse, repeat. That is all we seem to be doing these days Baby. What are you out there looking for that I have not provided for you?” Mickey asked while relaxing back into the chair.

          Ian gazing at Mickey with confusion, exhaling after taking the last drag off the cigarette. “I was at work and then had already missed the dinner, so I went out dancing to blow off some steam. What do you think I am looking for?”
