i love your background so much! do you post any timelapses or have any tips on how to start with them? every time i try i get stumped and give up and i really want to get like this!
Thank you!! And I’m sorry to hear you feel like that!
Doing LOTS of rough thumbnail-size photo studies was a game changer for me… It initially felt like a task, like doing an excercise for art school, but over time I learned to love it and find it very relaxing.
Try not to get hung up on details with these, just focus on trying to replicate the colours in the photo you’re referencing… challenge yourself to refrain from using the eye drop tool! Sometimes I end up really liking one of the studies, then I’ll scale it up and fill it in with more details:)
