the angel numbers that you see are not just co incidences, no, nope. they mean something. they are a reminder! they are a sign!!
Thank you for the reading the fact that I kept on seeing 111 and 1111 in clock ⏰ I felt like I was over observing but since I k wht this number means? Could u share how u decipher 1 angel number :)
Thank you
i like this question! well firstly, i believe that it really does depend on your situation and life. & it could mean a bunch of different things. But lets start with what the number 1 itself indicates the number 1 represents sun, it represents the self, it represents new beginnings, opportunities, it also talks about in on the right path, being right, etc. but cryst what does all that mean? well the sun means; that this number is ruled by a sun & therefore is infused with energies of the sun and that makes it energetic, confident, charismatic, success/ victory, joy, rising up/ new beginnings, etc. the self means that this number is associated with self-image, your surroundings, it talks about you, who you are & what/where you desire to be. new beginnings & opportunities: they do speak for themselves. (it is the FIRST number in order and therefore it shows beggings and offers, as it opens the door for other numbers) seeing this number over and over could indicate that something new is about enter your life. (well its not necessarily always talking about a person or a job offer, it could be a new habit, a new idea/ thought, could be any sort of new beginnings) being on the right path/ correct : again something that speaks for it self, (i interpret it like this because it written as a straight single line, indicating being on the right track or being correct because there is no other line that shows that there is no bs, no other choices, just one path/one option) (now all that is left is to put all this information together it might be that not everything is meant for you, and thats why you are supposed to use your intuition while decoding the messages from the universe as well as combining it with other signs that you see would be the cherry on top!) NOWW! what i think it means for you: being on the right track/ a sign to continue what you've recently started . what im picking up for you is aries energy with the number 1 (obv cause it is the first sign in the zodiac) the aries energy (that im picking up) is all about enthusiasm, energy, the willingness to do stuff and even being okay with change. (this is either something that you need to embody/ the path that you are supposed to choose or you've already and its a reminder to keep going cause you are on the right track! keep going even if you don't see results yet. you could be going through alot of self doubt and this number is asking you to believe in yourself and build that self confidence. hard work must pay off, right? why are you so worried when you're already working so hard. one day your dream must come true (maybe that day is a couple years later, or just a couple months later, you don't know and nor can anybody forsee it for you. the thing you must keep in mind is you worked for it and have no regrets about it. be confident and be proud. i know we didn't even touch the 111 and 1111s but this already looks alot, the basic meaning of the two is :(quoted from allure.com) " relish the opportunity to make a wish, set an intention, or plant a seed, as this is believed to indicate a "greenlight" from the universe. You are working with extraordinary support from your angels, guides, or ancestors, so — at that moment — the present and future are dynamically connected" and here's the basic meaning that everybody talks about 111: on the right track 1111: wishes come true 111+1111= you are on the right track for making your wishes come true (i like how this is also what i mentioned before) anyways i hope you enjoyed this post and it resonated, so please do lmk your thoughts as well ! and have a great day these are mostly how I interpret my information!

Best Reads of 2024
this year i read 300 books. which i think is impressive but not as impressive as it sounds bc many of these books were very short, easy reads meant to be like, stuff you read at the airport or sitting by the pool on vacation. so it's not like i was tackling the harvard classics. i also read extremely fast; it only takes me about an hour to do 300 pages unless it's a super dense complex text. that said, here is a list of all the books i read this year that i would rate 4 stars or higher, separated by genre: Fantasy/Magical Realism: The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett Highfire by Eoin Colfer Tehanu by Ursula K. Le Guin Gifts by Ursula K. I’m sorry but why is Neville still so appealing as a soft boy. We see in media men becoming bad and gaining sexy points along the way or even making an audience do a 180 (saltburn) but Neville doesn’t have to. He can be his quiet, contemplative, measured self in your world- and somehow I want him?!?! Does man have soft power or what
Ngl it's a bit rough being a writer of soft-but-strong men who love with unshakable, quiet devotion in a fiction marketplace hungry for blood soaked Byronic heroes, match in hand to ignite the world for their special lady friend, but it is what it is. The grass is certainly very green over here, tended by Thomas Hardy's Gabriel Oak and his grazing sheep, Dickon Sowerby from The Secret Garden, one of my great childhood fictional crushes, Samwise Gamgee and Neville Longbottom. Notable that two of these examples (or three, if you count LOTR) are from children's fiction. These guys are so uncommon that as far as I know they haven't merited an archetype name, so let's call him The Gardener. He is kind, patient, and honest, tender by default and firm when he needs to be, ferocious in defense of his flock and unswerving in his devotion to his people and place. It's no coincidence that these boys and men tend to be skilled and faithful keepers of plants and animals. Wildly underrated romantic hero archetype imo.

I tend to view Riddle of the Sphinx and Misdirection as kind of partner pieces: familial revenge plots deeply involved with Steve and Reece's own interests - with the main communicator of the topics being arrogant arseholes who clearly know a lot about their craft, but obtained their status in shifty and immoral ways (to paint a VERY broad brush of things ofc).
However, I rewatched Misdirection yesterday and, in comparison to Squires at least, god Neville is horrible at all of this.
He really pulls out all of these very ominous and purposeful bits that only he'll get and can find amusement in, such as claiming that "not another living soul" knows "his" trick or that, to him, the theft of an idea is "worse than murder"...
... And then he gets rattled and completely squirms at the ever so-slightest threat from Gabriel. At the mere mention of him having a Grandad as an inspiration for his own interest in magic, Neville is so clearly on edge.
He also immediately folds at Gabriel's Mountweazel note and burns his secret of nine years - turning off the security camera so that there's no proof of anything happening. This is what leaves him with no alibi at the one point he actually needs it.
(Although I do think he could have come up with literally almost anything else to say when questioned about why he removed his security footage other than "no reason". It might not have helped much but it would have made him at least a bit less suspicious).
I think it's clear that Gabriel's plan relied on Neville's unyielding arrogance, but I think it's his paranoia that ultimately ruined him.
Plus, his own lack of creativity - literally keeping the name "A Chair Raising Experience" - also didn't help AT ALL.
Neville's security set up is honestly a really good reflection of himself and ultimately what dooms him. He has the security cameras set up at every angle to protect "his" ideas within the safe that he himself stole, whilst actively bragging in his published book about how well kept a secret he has. He wrote down the secret years ago and yet keeps the original copy and sets up this entire system around a point of potential exposure that does not even need to exist. He's paranoid at every opportunity at the idea of being exposed and yet cannot help himself but to show off.
Arguably, Squires does the same. He was ultimately pushed into a corner by Jacob when he had created a crossword about the current circumstances that easily acts as his own murder confession. Why? "A bit of fun" and to "teach" the girl who he knew was planning to kill him. It's to show off. However, this display of arrogance was done through a belief that he was in control of the situation. He was "aware" of the plan to kill him prior and so felt he could act in complete security and without consequence.
Squires' arrogance that got him in the end was without any nervousness or insecurity. Meanwhile, Neville's arrogance and desire to show off was in spite of his own insecurity.
#i wish i didn't type up most of my thoughts when I'm tired but alas ¯\_(ツ)_/¯#Neville is the worst both in terms of morals and like ability#love that#misdirection#the riddle of the sphinx#inside no 9#in9#nigel squires#neville griffin

G'mornin', folks...a groggy Mr. Baggins with you. I don't know about y'all, but I need at least two hours of coffee sipping and cogitation before I'm ready to face the world, so we're gonna start our mornings off with Morning Coffee Music: selections to entertain and energize. One of ths best radio DJs I ever listened to back in Austin, was John Aelli, on KUT in the mornings for literally decades. It's in his "anything goes" free-form spirit I start this first edition of Coffee Music.
In 1964, I was a five year old kid boppin' to this on the big old Zenith booming in the corner. Here's trumpeter Al Hirt and his 1964 hit, called appropriately enough, "Java".
youtube
Here's a little bit of Beatlefluff from 1966 guaranteed to have you humming along. From Revolver, here's Paul's "Good Day Sunshine".
youtube
Here's one of the two hits by the band "Vanity Fair"; from 1970 it's "Early In The Morning".
youtube
Rossini wrote six String Sonatas at the age of twelve. Here's our old friend Neville Marriner and the ASMF to play numbers 1 and 6, on an Argo recording. A friend once said that the first sonata could have easily been the soundtrack to a Leave It To Beaver episode, saying it sounds like "Breakfast with The Cleavers".
youtube
Glenn Gould's Bach is essential to any good morning! Here is his 1960 recording of Bach's "Italian Concerto", a more charmingly refreshing twelve minutes you won't find anywhere.
youtube
Moving from the modern piano to the harpsichord now, this is music by Franz Joseph Haydn, his Concerto in D Major. I've chosen the recording by the person responsible for the harpsichord's rebirth as a viable instrument in the early 20th Century, Wanda Landowska. This was recorded in 1937, Mme. Landowska is accompanied by conductor Eugène Bigot, with an unnamed orchestra.
youtube
Moving from Papa Haydn to his young protege, Ludwig Beethoven, we hear a very early work of Beethoven's, written when he was sixteen. It is counted among the works he wrote before his official Opus 1 was published, the "Works Without Opus" Number 37, Trio for bassoon, flute, and piano. This delightful little piece is performed by pianist Daniel Barnboim, flutist Michel Debost and bassoonist André Sennedat, from a 1980 recording on DG. It was this very recording that served as my introduction to the piece. I've had a copy of the original album since it was issued. Enjoy.
youtube
Next are some pieces played by oboist John Dee and The Tantallon Ensemble, from their album entitled "Under a Near Sky", which is, sadly not on YouTube in its entirety, so here are a couple of selections. First is Gabriel Pierne's "Piece an sol"
youtube
This is Franz Krommer's Quartet in C major
youtube
And this morning's final selection, one of my absolute favorite pieces of all time, and this version of it specifically. Here is Igor Stravinsky conducting his big bad 1945 revision of his brilliant "Firebird Suite". Recorded in 1946 on a Columbia Masterworks recording. Enjoy, and I will be back with you later this afternoon.
Until then, be kind, babies, be kind.
Baggins out.
