Caitvi fans don’t kill me please.

Caitvi Sex scene was rushed and poorly timed. Vi just lost her sister again. She just woke up from a severe injury from losing everything so soon after she got it back. Jinx left implying she was going to off herself vi knew that. The last thing on her mind should’ve been “shit man gotta take fuck the police literally” I love them I think given time it’s an adorable couple and they compliment each other also just cannon lesbians who wind up actually together is rare. But the sex scene was wrong. We deserved Caitlyn apologizing some sort of emotional scene between them that isn’t cut short. Sex didn’t benefit the plot. Most characters weren’t done justice this season honestly. Caitlyn never got a proper redemption they just skipped a year and decided she had a change of heart again? Vis pit fighting scene was like 1 minute then loris never spoke again? Sevika? “You’ll see more of her in act 3!” That’s bs? She had no lines and I’m still pissed about that. Mel? What the fuck was that ending she lost everything for what? She lost the man she loved she lost her home her brother her mother she gained magic that she doesn’t really understand and she’s alone. That’s bs. Overall this ending is wrong and I blame Netflix. Netflix never gives animation the time needed to finish we’ve seen it time and time again.

netflix is incredibly annoying.

(in this I will talk mostly about dead boy detectives since it's the one I have watched, but I acknowledge Kaos, Lockwood and co. and all the others. tag more in the reblogs!!)

like a lot of people, I clicked on dbd and like a FUCK TON of people, I adored it. and like AN ASS TON of people, I started crying when I realised it got cancelled.

now, there are a few things about this show that ticked me off when I looked into it. one, it's a show about dead guys and it was not released in October. Two, it is very inherently queer and was not released during pride month. the problem- it was released when the audience wasn't introduced to it in a proper way.

next, it was in the Top 10 list for a while, but then fell off. I think (!!) that the reason is because honestly, sometimes I get so mad that my favorite show is cancelled that I'd give up on everything too. also, there are people saying that netflix did not market this show well. I cant find anything about that since I don't have any other social media app, but if you have data pls post it here.

next, the main problem. SHIT DOES NOT GET FAMOUS WITH ONE SEASON!!

take schitts creak. from this article (which was also an inspiration for this post) I saw that it did not get much traction until the third season. THIRD. SEASON.

I think it's basic common fucking sense, but let's explain it to @netflix

imagine you get a taste of an amazing ice cream. it's beautiful. it hits all your taste buds in the best way. you gobble it up. then you find out that the ice cream is discontinued. the company that made it is fighting tk make more, but the head honchos at marketing don't care. they said that it didn't have a bit enough audience, not enough people ate it. After some research, you realise that the ice cream was released for a week. in an ice cream truck that was notorious to partner with the head honchos and routinely did this.

don't you think that that is a little FUCKING DUMB!?

the crew and cast and everything about dbd is beautiful. captivating. the season ended on SUCH a cliffhanger, leaving the audience wanting more, like ice cream. but that joy hoes un-heeded.

I genuinely don't know how to tell people that maybe, perhaps, things take time to work. relationships. a project.

A MOTHERFUCKING SHOW.

in short, I hate @netflix . they are hungry capitalist pigs who do not realise how much shows mean.

bring back binge-worthy television that does not get cancelled when the head honchos want it to.

i’m genuinely fucking sick over this. why can’t anything go our way. why does netflix have to cancel every single one of their shows. no matter how much we raved or streamed it doesn’t fucking matter to them. it hurts so bad to see one of the BEST shows i have ever watched die because netflix is truly, genuinely evil. goodbye dead boy detectives, may you live on in our hearts and in this beautiful fandom you’ve got behind you :(

i watched The Bastard Son and the Devil Himself and the fact that there will probably never be a second season is the source of (most of)my depression

the fanfic on ao3 is mostly so ooc it makes me want to throw my phone across the room so I am unable to be sustained by it

Nathan has rough hands from his time in the cage, unlike Gabriel or Annalise, but Gabriel still has signs of having been in a fight with his stained fingers (they're only stained blue in the show but I added some pink because of the smoke bomb in ep 4). Annalise however doesn't have any marks of magic or any signs that she's ever been in a fight to show the nature of her power (I headcanon that she has a lady Macbeth moment after killing her dad even though she never had any blood on her physically) she still has little scars from cutting herself on branches and stuff in the woods but compared to Nathan it's nothing

The more I think about what happened with Netflix and Monkey Man, the more it pisses me off. "No, Dev Patel, don't portray your nation of origin as an actual complex country with a diverse range of tight knit communities and cultures and institutions that favor capital over the marginalized and enables oppression and the corruption and bastardization of various cultures! You were supposed to make a movie about one angry guy going after one bad guy who wronged him and his minions with the backdrop of a George Harrison wet dream!
