You know, I just remembered that in one of the RWBY commentaries they were talking about how Neo would be way more powerful without Roman there to keep her in check (I disagree with this personally anyway but that's for another rant) and how according to Monty Oum the fight between Ruby, Roman and Neo wasn't supposed to end the way it did makes me think that they killed Roman off not only from sheer laziness and disrespect (don't forget shitty shock value!!!!) but also so they could point at Neo and go "ooooh all scary!!! too powerful should nerf!!!" When really, she took down a ship full of Atlas trained military soldiers on her own, probably without being told to (take that Cinder, she wasn't going to leave Roman to die in the skies). Because that's where Roman was- and honestly, she probably did it to the other ships that just sat floating there. Oh, and did I forget to mention that she did it all without sounding any alarms??? That shit was nuts you don't have to kill off the one person she fucking cares about in order to make her "more powerful" when she can do that shit!!!!! GET YOUR FUCKING SHIT TOGETHER MILES, KERRY, YOUR ANIMATION TEAM HAS IT ON POINT
