While he would never get too much into housework, he will try to help around the house as much as he can, especially once you get back to work. (also, wouldn't do a good job and you would have to clean after his cleaning all the time, but it is the enthusiasm that counts!)

His attitude towards you would remain the same - he is just as in love with you as he was as a teenager, constantly trying to flirt with you with cheesy pick-up lines and smack your bum when you least expect it.

With multiple children, you probably won't have a lot of opportunities for spend time alone or go on dates, but you are both quite comfortable with your chaotic life.

He is definitely the laid-back and fun parent. Sorry, but you are going to have to be the "bad cop" - he can just bring himself to scold or punish your children.

He would often team up with them in order to prank you or his mother. Also, every bad word they learn by the age of six, is definitely his fault. (But hey, is it his fault they can remember every slip up?)

➤ Kakashi

Surprisingly (or not so much since we are talking about Kakashi) your two children came before you got married.

You have been together for years and it worked perfectly, so what would a ring and a signature on a paper change? In the beginning, both of you were of the opinion "why fix something if it isn't broken?" and none of you see the point in marriage.

More or less, you were already acting as spouses - you tried to equally divide the household chores, but since he was working most of the time, you naturally took the role of the carer of the house, while he was the provider.

Once your first child was born, however, Kakashi started to seriously think of a change.

Since being a child, his life has been filled with battles, blood and loss - and he surely did not want for these things to be present in your baby's life.

However, change was hard and while he tortured his mind with ideas about how much happier you are going to be if both of you give up the shinobi life and move somewhere far, far away, he never voiced his thoughts out loud to you.

Kakashi is a very calm and loving dad - it almost come naturally to him, but you would notice something was bothering him, since as a partner he acted a bit more withdrawn.

When your second child was born, this is when he knew for sure he has to step down as a Hokage and retire from the ninja lifestyle once and for all. I imagine at this point, with two kids at home, you were retired as a shinobi.

When he brought the idea of moving in the outskirts of the village, he didn't expect for you to agree so quickly. You knew Kakashi for years, even before you got together, so you knew he really needed this break and detachment in the name of your family.

Once he left the position as a leader of the village, he focused 100% of his attention on you and your children - your oldest was a toddler by that time and while he felt sad because he felt like he missed the first two years of their life, he tried to enjoy every moment and stay grounded in the present.

He also finally decide it is time to propose and make you officially Mrs. Hatake - everything in your life was slowly falling into place and this felt like the only thing missing. (I imagine a small ceremony with both of your children as flower girls/page boys.)

Kakashi as a husband is the same as he was before that - loving, gentle, romantic, sometimes lazy, yet always attentive. The only difference is that he is even more relaxed and probably would pick up a random hobby such as gardening or maybe even writing?

Your have a very idyllic and peaceful life with him, and you wouldn't change it for anything in the world.

Married life with Gaara is hard in the beginning.

His work has been his whole life since he was a teenager, so when you finally tied the knot and, a few months later, welcomed your first child, he didn't know how to handle it.

He tried to juggle his job and his new role as a husband and father without any help for the first six months, but failed miserably.

The long hours he spend in the office definitely affected your relationship, especially since you are the one who had to give up your career in order to stay at home and take care of the baby.

There will be a rough period of time during you will be either ignoring each other or fighting with each other. Each of you will be upset, frustrated and annoyed with the other, but will not know how to fix things.

Don't get it wrong - this man loves you to death, but this is all new to him too! And it is especially stressful, since he never had a proper functioning family anyway.

Eventually, one night after another fight, you will sit down on the floor and share (or more likely scream at him) all the pent up frustration and worries you had been keeping inside.

From that moment everything changes.

Gaara would realise he needs to spend more time with his family, so he will probably promote Kankuro to a "shadow Kazekage" or any other title, under which he can replace him in the office some days of the week.

You start communicating more and soon fall in a natural rhythm - he is definitely a man that likes to do everything 50-50 with you, including care of the baby and household chores.

A very gentle and attentive husband - he always listen to your advice and tries his best to keep the spark between you by organising surprise getaway weekends for both of you every so often or by bringing you flowers/gifts when he comes home from work.

I would imagine given his position, he would try to influence to remain at home - he has always been worried about your safety and the potential risk of his enemies targeting you, but since you were now also the mother of his child, his worry slowly turned into a paranoia.

He will respect your decision no matter what, but if you decide to go back to work at some point - he will forget his morals and will abuse his role as a Kazekage in order to arrange some extra security to be around you at all times.

I feel like he will be a very calm dad in the beginning, but the more his children grew, the more nervous he became - babies are easy to manage, but toddlers? Pre-teens? Oh, Kami!

Naturally, he is very anxious about his performance as a parent, so please provide him reassurance every now and then, just so you can ease his mind!

Nevertheless, he is great with your child and they absolutely adore him. If you had a girl, she will totally be daddy's girl. If you had a boy, he would dream one day to grow up like Gaara.

I totally see you guys adopting some family traditions like Sunday dinner, "come-with-dad-to-work" Thursdays or book Fridays.

Gaara is going to be satisfied with one child, two at most (only if they have at least five years difference).

➤ Neji

Neji was made to be a father and a husband!

Raised in a very traditional family, he has been dreaming about becoming a husband and father pretty much from the moment you got together.

I think you would be married for about a year, before your first child is born, during which you will get you own house in the Hyuga compound, arrange its interior and enjoy your life as newlywed couple.

He will never command you or restrict your freedom in any way, but he will definitely influence a lot of your decisions.

For starters, it is expected that you will stop working and become a housewife, as any other woman married into the clan has done before.

I feel Neji loves you enough to respect your wishes if you decide not to do it, but he will still insist being the main provider for your family. (Do not resist him on this one, it is quite important for him!)

That doesn't mean he won't help around the household, especially after your child is born - he is actually very, very good cook and will take care of your dinners at least a few times per week.

As a father, I imagine he is very caring and loving, but will become more strict as they start to grow older. He values fairness and order a lot, so it will for sure reflect in his parenting style.

Your child absolutely adores him though - Neji is definitely their role model and the best teacher. You, on the other hand, will be the more laid-back parent, using any chance to spoil them or treat them with some extra sweets/toys behind Neji's back.

Neji is very confident as a parent, so he won't really have any worries about how you are raising your little one. What worries him, however, is how much less time you are both spending together.

I think once your child reach toddler age, he would start declining more and more missions, so he can stay at home. I also imagine that seeing his growth and commitment to the family, Hiashi would involve him in the leadership of the clan.

He will still find time to organise little dates just for both of you or late midnight walks, when you can enjoy only each other's company.

He would grow more serious and less fun with time, but given how much responsibilities he how stressful his life is, you would try and support him in every decision he makes (even when you are not fully convinced by his reasoning).

Your love would blossom from fun and carefree to mature and responsible. (& tbh I think that is absolutely beautiful!)

Both of you want at least one more child, so I imagine you would get pregnant a two or three years after you gave birth to your first born.

Hmmm - vanilla?

Her hands paused in their movements - pipping tip hovering just shy of a half-frosted sugar cookie. She was sure she had something that was more vanilla-forward. Going down the mental checklist of all the items she had baked today alone. Not all of these were for her - nor even him. Plenty of sweets were going to be given out to friends and those around the village. Even if it was a passion many would say was a waste of time. Why spend hours decorating with frosting when you could be training? Letting those gifts given to her go to waste. Yet that was the furthest thing from her mind.

She set the pipping bag down on the counter carefully, gripping her apron in favor of whipping her hands clean from the sticky mess. Oh - perhaps . . . ? Yes that should work.

Not everyone likes the rich flavor of chocolate after all. Always one to try and be as accommodating to all as possible. Picking up a small plate and setting it on the counter before placing a tiny frosted bunt cake onto it. Having made mini ones that were easier to gift than whole cakes. Next on the plate beside it was a cinnamon roll - smeared with cream cheese frosting over the top.

Pushing with her fingertips to slide the plate over with a soft airy giggle.

( 'twas no shadow of doubt about that ; her safe place ) he wanted to aid her in feeling those fleeting moments of easiness. the war had left scars on all of them he wasn't blind to it. SHARING CHAKRA he's been able to feel & experience a variety of emotions & thoughts. the uzumaki would never dare to say it out loud but it has nearly broken him a few times. there's been moments where he wanted nothing more than to curl up into a ball.

( NEJI there was a pang of pain ) lee's pain, hinata's pain, ten ten's pain ; so on & on. he's carried it on his shoulders. he felt at fault for most. for the scars, the tears. the death. shaking himself out of the depths of darkness the man focused back on his friend & smiled warmly / fondly at her.

Naruto shared a lot of things with his parents. He had his dad's hair and eyes. His mother's personality and chakra levels. He became the Hokage just like his dad. But he also married a very loving and sweet man like his mother.

Uzumaki (Name) was an absolute sweetheart. (Name) was the son of Kakashi and an Uchiha woman that had sadly passed when she gave birth. Luckily (Name) looked almost exactly as his father. So many didn't know he was an Uchiha. Until you upset him that is.

Naruto can still remember the time (Name) wiped the floor with Sasuke when the duck butt tried bullying (Name) into marrying him to continue their clan. Although now that Naruto thought about it. Sasuke was probably lucky it was (Name) who got to him first instead of Kakashi.

Naruto loved his sensei and his husband. But the Hatake'e were never to be crossed. Especially considering (Name)'s best friends were VERY protective of the sunshine like man. Rock Lee and Neji Hyuga was a unlikely duo that had very few things in common. Well they both dearly cared for (Name) and liked keeping him safe.

Naruto shuttered as he remembered what happened when the duo got their hands on Sasuke after the incident. Sakura had refused to heal him and Kakashi didn't even need to threaten the Uchiha. Sasuke still avoids their Sensei unless absolutely necessary.

The door to his office opened as Naruto looked up from his paperwork and smiled brightly. (Name) came in with their first son. (Son's Name) squealed happily as (Name) cooed at him softly. Minato and Kakashi coming in behind the male.

Naruto sweat dropped slightly. Both fathers constantly followed around (Name) and (Son's Name) when they left the Uzumaki and Hatake clan grounds. Even if it was to check the mail at least one of their father's were always with (Name). Naruto liked to think it's because they wanted to protect (Son's Name) and keep (Name) safe. But he knew otherwise.

(Name) was their favorite in the families. (Name) smiled happily at his husband and pressed a soft kiss to Naruto's lips. Naruto sighed happily and kissed his husband back and gently took their son from the others arms.

(Son's Name)'s bright blue eyes stared up at his father. Naruto smiled softly at his son. While he has the Hatake hair, (Son's Name) had Naruto's eyes and so called whiskers. (Name) cooed at his baby before carefully placing a bento on the desk before kissing Naruto's forehead.

"You forgot your bento. So I thought I'd bring it to you and let you take a break with (Son's Name) too."

Naruto's heart melted. His husband was the sweetest and most kind hearted person he has ever met. Naruto smiled brightly at his husband.

"I knew I forgot something this morning! Thanks (Name)!"

(Name) smiled back almost just as brightly as he brushed off his apron. The apron was a birthday gift from Naruto's mother. It was a light green with dogs all over it. Speaking of dogs.....

"Where's Daki?"

Daki was Paku's pup and was given to (Name) when he was old enough for a summon scroll. Daki was always attached to (Name) and was very rarely seen not with him. Upon not seeing the loyal pug Naruto looked around the office.

"Oh! Daki and Paku are with your mom. She's in the shopping district. We needed more diapers and she also wanted to get stuff for dinner tonight."

Naruto smiled softly. He loved how his mom and (Name) got along so well. He thinks it's because like his mom, (Name) didn't let Naruto get away with anything. (Son's Name) raised his hands towards Naruto's face. Naruto's heart warmed once more. He truly loved his house husband and his family.

As you can see, Meiten can be a bit stabby-hotheaded-pants like her mother sometimes… Their kids may mostly look like Neji but their personalities are definitely Tenten. They have their work cut out for them for sure!

They're gathered for the announcement of the final round of the chunin exams and her palms are sweaty in a way they never are in the middle of a fight. Sasuke is best, of course, but as long as it's any of their twelve - well, eleven, sorry Lee - then it'll be fine. If it's someone outside of them that's when things get tricky, especially when the only one of them available to move freely is the one that can't do jutsu. Maybe he can switch with Tenten? She's taijutsu heavy and although Lee doesn't favor weapons, he's plenty able to use them.

Genma has a scroll in front of him, the kages and their companions looking down at the gathered teams. Naruto still isn't sure what to make of Orochimaru.

Most of the team ups don't mean much to her, except taking people out of the running. Temari against Shikamaru, which is good. He's at a disadvantage against her but he's smart enough to make up for it. Sakura against Kankuro, which is less good, but they have a couple weeks. Kabuto against Tenten, which effectively wrecks his tentative plan, since he's way too observant to fool, even with Lee. Sasuke against Neji, which is fine, but sets her blood boiling. Kakashi couldn't even do this for her. Why does she even bother? Next time she'll know better than to waste her time asking her stupid ex-fiance for anything-

"Namikaze Naruto versus Sabaku no Gaara."

She looks up, mouth open. Her father's hands are clenched into fists and her mother is white with horror, probably frozen in place by it which is really for the best.

Kakashi is nowhere to be found, which she'd thought had seemed strange considering he's a proctor, but now makes a lot of sense.

I am so frustrated about Hinata Hyuga.

Like, do you want to know, why I won't shut up about her? Leaving the romance aspect with Naruto aside, I just find this so insanely disrespectful towards her, that, canonically speaking, ignoring all the filler, She. Doesn't have. Even a SINGLE. On-screen. Victory. To her name. And all she gets reduced to now, in Boruto, is "housewife".

All she gets reduced to, is merely an "extension" to Naruto. For being his wife, she literally can't match up with him in terms of overall feats. The power balance is all off. Everything hinges purely on Naruto, every time. I don't like this. And yeah, go on, get all smart on me, try to correct me by bringing up that damned databook, this is one instance where I go: Fuck all of this, I don't want to read this shit, I WANT TO SEE IT. ON-SCREEN. SHOW. DON'T TELL. Don't just show me some random throwaway factoid garbage from a databook, that holds as much weight to the overall canon, as a miniscule hole in a sinking ship.

And what makes this worse, you just have to re-contextualize all of this:

Hinata took her training seriously

She was inspired by Naruto, without getting downright obsessive over him, meaning, she still got her priorities straight as a standalone kunoichi, while making use of his "proud loser" mentality to boost her own confidence

Her entire character, by default, is the classic trope of "princess, rebelling against her dogshit family", just to break the molds, making her so easy to root for

She remained humble, until the very end

...But what does all this mean for her? Nothing.

Every single fight, in-canon, that she participated in, always ended in a loss for her, even in Shippuden, where she is supposed to be stronger, it doesn't make any goddamn sense, you train your whole life, and you can't win a single fight, when it absolutely needs to count?

In the course of the story, all that happens to her, 80% of the time, is her getting abducted, and this happens about THREE. FUCKING. TIMES. The first time is perfectly excuseable, because it happened, when she just barely jumped out of the womb of her mother, but two more times, once when she was a Genin, and once as a fucking adult, by Toneri? COME. ON. That last one is just low.

All her clan issues just get resolved off-screen, we never get a rematch between her and Neji, not a proper look into the clan's politics, and in the end, Neji's death only ended up traumatizing her even harder, for no freaking reason, his death still remains so pointless and hollow to me, like, this is a pattern I keep noticing, every time she was on-screen, either she does nothing of significance, or she is busy eating Ls like a champ

I can't believe this shit, man. I am not just here for the NaruHina fluff, I am also here for Hinata, and what happened to her, to me, is a textbook example, on how NOT to write a side character, let alone one, that is later "destined" to become a romance confidant for the main character. I am not sugercoating this, you can do countless Hinata appreciation posts, the question, do you really appreciate her character, or do you just like her, because she is drawn to be super pretty, all the while knowing, she got reduced to a worthless jobber, the long the story went on? Because to me, that is just shallow. You can draw her the absolute prettiest, it won't mean anything, when all she is now, is just a wife "trophy", no more of her own thing. Seriously, shame on you.

When the pale flower grows thorns🌸🥀🩸

A SasuHina AU where Hinata later on joins Orochimaru’s group. Everyone still treats Hinata as fragile and docile and her family mistreats her more the older she gets. Sasuke convinces Orochimaru of a vague plan to acquire another member that has rare abilities like him, never telling him it’s someone he personally knew or that she’s from one of the leaf village’s prominent families.

Rather than have her talents wasted and not allowed the proper time and space to grow, Sasuke secretly converses with Hinata while she’s out on a mission in an attempt to have her join him. (‼️⚠️Yapping below⚠️‼️)

She does end up taking his offer later on and leaves her family in disarray because she leaves Neji with family secrets about the family seal and leaves him to be the family heir.

I did have a bit sketched of Itachi making a joke about the two when they were kids and thus leading to them being engaged/betrothed by their mothers decisions but left it out because it was too much to fit in here. I also had a portion where Hinata painfully removes Neji’s curse mark and him fearing her for a moment and seeing her potential in that small moment before being left to pick up the pieces of their family.

They knew/met each other as children in this since they are both part of important clans in the village and their parents maintained connections with them. Hinata was usually too busy to be around/play with Sasuke and Itachi since her father and family used most of their time to train her, resulting in Sasuke mainly watching her train and her even sparring with Itachi at times (and losing, much to her father’s dismay).

Their moms have them be verbally betrothed as a small joke amongst the older members in their families, but Hinata’s father was not happy with it (since he views her unworthy until she can start acting and moving like a proper ninja of the clan) but didn’t care for it and lets them pretend about it. Sasuke’s family just thinks it’s cute and pay it no mind but occasionally feel sorry for Hinata seeing how she’s worked to the bone to become the clan heir. They do have certain expectations for Sasuke as well but view the Hyuuga’s methods as overkill in some areas. Also Itachi is the eldest so Sasuke doesn’t rly understand what the clan heirs have to put up with most of the time as he’s given more freedoms.

ANYWAYSSS

Hinata basically has had enough of the mistreatment and being underestimated and never being taken seriously so she’d rather turn to them so that she doesn’t have anything holding her back from improving herself and no longer needing to seek constant approval from anybody. Yknow, something like, she never gets to do anything she wants and constantly feels suffocated from having no control over anything she can/can’t do. Her family is so controlling that even if she finds ways in which she can get better she can’t use them because the clan is stubborn in the ways they want her to portray herself and act as a ninja.

I did add goofy bits of Orochimaru commenting on their hair. He cuts Hinata’s to be layered to give her a more mature look, and he hates how Sasuke never changes his lmao.

I kinda feel like making a art of Itachi being so big brother coded towards these two that when he sees Sasuke he’s surprised (bc duh he’s with the bad guys now and he was such a kind hearted baby) but upon seeing Hinata he is proud to see her take something for herself and be able to pave her own way. Idk lmao. I had fun drawing this and like the way I used some of the brushes.

Btw I plan to not have these two interact with each other with romantic intentions in mind but have those feelings sort of progress naturally amongst each other. She also does still have her crush on Naruto in this but realizes it’s not rly gonna go anywhere so she decides it’s best to forget about him and move on, especially with the fact that her lifestyle will become different.

I hate the Percy Jason rivalry, I find it just a poor attempt to rehash the Percy Thalia rivalry.

But man does it have potential in exploring the differences between them and their respective camps. Such as theme of hard work vs natural talent.

Percy is naturally gifted.

He used his powers unknowingly without even knowing he was anything but human. He's never had an issue with his powers, able to perform incredible feats with little effort.

He accidentally vaporised his pre-algebra the first time he ever held a weapon.

He beat Luke in a swordfight in his first ever swordfighting lesson. A great feat considering Luke is called out for being the best swordfighter in Camp Half Blood in a century.

In Camp Half Blood it seems like parentage is everything. The Aphrodite kids are looked down upon because of their mother. The Athena kids are highly regarded because of their mother.

To be a child of the Big 3 is like being royalty itself.

I mean everyone is told to bow when Percy gets claimed by his father. Thalia's the legendary daughter of Zeus and Nico is isolated for a long while for being a son of Hades.

That doesn't seem to be the case at Camp Jupiter. Hazel's not so much looked down upon for being a daughter of Pluto, but for being part of the 5th cohort.

Jason's looked up too but it's not because he's the son of Jupiter. And clearly not cared about enough for people to actually look for him.

It's never said but I imagine he spent a long time being looked down upon for being of the 5th cohort.

Parentage holds weight but it doesn't matter in the same way as it does in Camp Half Blood. I mean Camp Jupiter allows legacies to join. And most of those aren't even demigods themselves, like Octavian.

Legacies aren't seen as lesser. Hell Frank had his life force tied to a stick by Juno because he was deemed too powerful by being both a demigod and a legacy.

Jason has been at Camp Jupiter since he was two years old. He had to survive the wolf house, countless quests and battles and than lead his camp to war. To which he fought Krios and won.

Presumably with no aid from the Olympians.

The first rule of the Wolf House is self reliance. Imagine having that taught to you at 2 years old? After being abandoned by your mother to the wolves.

And these experiences shape people and the sheer culture shock these two should've faced when they were switched.

Wolves who would've killed Jason had he ever shown fear or failed their tests.

And I'm not saying that Percy hasn't ever had work hard. That Jason's has a worse life than him, because that's not true. I'm saying in terms of their skills one comes across as naturally gifted while the other does not.

Percy who suddenly has no one to help him for the first time in his life. He's alone, he's forced to rely on himself and only himself. He's always stuck out but never more so than now.

Its one thing to diss the Olympians to their faces, it's been a long time since his own peers looked down on him. It's like he's back in school all over again, everyone knows what to do and he's failing.

Everything he took for granted before is gone. His talent is all he can rely on and he doesn't even know how that's happening.

Jason is suddenly looked up too and revered because of his parentage. People have a perception of what he should be because of his father, because of his sister.

Both of whom he barely knows, hell he never met Jupiter in the entire series. And he's failing to meet these new expectations. He's the kid who was abandoned forced into the family reunion.

Neither of them feel like they belong and have different ways of trying to cope. Jason doubles down and tries to meet these expectations, while Percy is defiantly himself.

Tld:dr These two should've been like Neji vs Naruto, Gaara vs Rock Lee at the Shunin exams. They are so different and highlighting those differences would've been cool to see.

I guess the one thing I thought of is, if Itachi has pups straight away, which he wants, then Neji is too young for his own (in his opinion) and doesn't know about his infertility, so he'd probably take more cues from Itachi with pup rearing.

Maybe just maybe, this means Neji chills out a little when he has his own or Itachi has his second, because he's already seen a pup be successfully raised without 100% organic food lol.

Itachi isn't that good at building nests either, but he's better than Neji which is good, I guess. It becomes an awkward team effort between three people that aren't great at nests, but it gets done XD

I think Itachi would mother hen Neji when he's going through those first intensive painful heats. Alpha is on sex duty. Itachi is on cleaning, cooking, feeding, bathing and comforting duty.

He preps meals, helps hold Neji's head up when he needs to drink, wipes him down when he's sweating, constantly does laundry. I think Itachi has a nice comforting scent too. Neji's is the more mainstream attractive scent, but I think he likes Itachi's scent because it just smells... calm.

But if alpha was asleep and Neji was begging for some relief... Itachi would provide.

Can you imagine waking up and seeing Itachi eating out Neji right beside you?? I'd think I'd died and gone to heaven lmao.

since 2025 is the year of tenten posting, headcanons about my blorbo:

she is an orphan to me, mostly because i imagine that she is a little bit abrasive and can very often forget her manners, especially when provoked. she’s not nearly as rude as naruto or sasuke but she lacks the well-mannered politeness of lee, neji, and gai because she had no one to teach her these things (ok we all know that iconic sakura scene where she complains about naruto’s #fatherless behavior to sasuke, a fellow orphan, who gets pissed off at her? yeah… tenten also behaves #fatherlessly sometimes)

HOW exactly she is an orphan varies depending on what i’m writing - sometimes it’s the standard “parents died in the kyubi attack.” sometimes her mother died in childbirth and her father turned to his work in grief and died on a mission. sometimes both her parents are anbu who had a child (by accident?) but don’t want to quit their jobs so, again, died on a mission. it really depends on the themes of the fic - also, i do like to occasionally give her a slightly older sister who takes care of her after their parents die

this is mostly to justify the fact that i pretend she looks like this, but one of her parents is from kumo and moved to konoha temari-style, tho this was at a time when they had to renounce their home village and could not become a shinobi of konoha. they never got married hence why she doesn't have a last name. i have an AU in the vault that provides an angsty variant on this where both her parents are from kumo, but i am keeping that close to my chest just in case i ever write it

complete disregard for canon and inspired by this post by @erumai-maadu but despite having a march birthday, tenten is actually younger than neji and lee because she was born in the previous year. she got put in the academy early because that’s what they do with orphans

tenten is a hot girl. you now how every girl was in love with sasuke when they were in the academy? that’s how it was for tenten in her year. she was a lot of girls’ gay awakening. basically this post but it’s true for everyone

she is also oblivious tho so does not realize her own charms and that people are into her. A LOT of team gai’s mission success rate in other villages has to do with tenten accidentally charming the pants off shinobi who are otherwise hostile to konoha

tsunade is of course her idol, but she looks up to pretty much all kunoichi older than her - when she was due to graduate from the academy, she secretly hoped that kurenai would be her sensei, but obviously ends up happy with gai (an iconic male feminist in this misogynistic ass shonen LMAO)

ino is her non-team gai best friend, partly b/c they actually knew each other growing up: her father was in the torture and interrogation unit when he was alive, so he was well acquainted with inoichi, but they would’ve gravitated together anyway because they’re both funny, bossy, and gossipy.

also she doesn’t like sakura for a while in the same way that like. when your friend and the guy she’s been dating get into a fight and almost break up but then stay together and heal so your friend is happy but you still side-eye the guy for a couple of years? yeah. she does grow to love sakura by the time we get to the timeskip tho

When Neji found out he was being betrothed to an Omega from (Clans Name) he was upset. Rightfully so. The Omegas he had met were no good weak, gold diggers that only cared about getting the biggest baddest Alpha with a lot of money. So he figured this Omega would just be the same.

When (Name) found out he was betrothed to he was egangged to Neji of all people, he was nervous. Neji had a rough opinion on Omegas. Luckily though, (Name) isn't like the typical Omega. His father raised him to not rely on an Alpha. In fact, (Name) was stronger and smarter then most Alpha's in the Village.

Most Alpha's didn't like him since he didn't act like most Omegas. He didn't lay around waiting for an Alpha to save him. Or for an Alpha to tell him to get on his knees and beg for attention. No. (Name) doesn't want an Alpha that'll smother him in "attention". He doesn't want to be viewed as an Omega. He wants to be viewed as a Shinobi and an equal.

It was two weeks after the announcement of the engagement for the two to meet. Neji was taking a stroll around the village when he saw a beautiful male Omega walking into a training ground. 'Probably looking for an Alpha to follow around'. Neji thought rolling his eyes.

But when he caught a certain (scent) he unconsciously followed the Omega. What Nei wasn't expecting was for the Omega to be so....non-omega. This Omega was throwing ninja weapons like it was the most easiest thing. Breaking trees with strength he's only seen from Sakura while she's been training with the Hokage.

Neji was hypnotized by the beauty that was this Shinobu. He's never seen an Omega like this. Ever. He was so surprised he didn't even notice that the Omega had throw a Boulder in his direction until it wasn't that far from him. "Look out!" Neji went to punch the Boulder until the Omega with such grace kicked it. Shattering it into just mere pebbles.

"Oh my Kami! Neji I'm so sorry! I was so busy training I didn't notice you come in." Neji looked at him confused. "Do I know you?" The Omega looked hurt. "I'm (Name). I'm your betrothed from (Clans Name)." Neji felt like a huge weight was lifted from his shoulders. This is supposed to be his Omega?

This graceful, beautiful, strong shinobi? "You..." Neji lightly blushed and looked away. "Your my Omega?" (Name) blushed brightly and lightly played with his hair and nodded shyly. "Yeah. Sorry. I know most Omegas don't train but-". Neji cut him off quickly. "No! I actually like that you train. Most Omegas I've seen usually hide-".

(Name) cut Neji off with a sour look. "Yeah I know. Hide behind Alphas. I'm not like most Omegas if you can't tell. I don't need to hide behind an Alpha or ANYONE for that matter. I was raised to be an appropriate and loving wife and mother but, to also to not take shit and to fight by my father." Neji smirked.

"That sounds like a perfect Omega to me. I don't want a normal housewife Omega. I want one that isn't like most and if I'm correct I got just that." (Name) smiled softly and flipped his hair and started walking away. Neji was confused. "Where are you going?" (Name) then looked over his left shoulder and smirked. "I'm gonna go and make some food. Wanna join me for dinner Alpha~?"

Neji smirk grew wider and he growled playfully and chased after the Omega that ran quite quickly and gracefully. This Omega was his perfect Omega. He doesn't need a big strong Alpha with big pockets.
