10: what song sums up your current work the best? :)

Hm, that’s a hard one. I actively avoid making playlists for my work because I know I’ll devote so much time to getting it perfect that I’d never get any writing done. So…hmm.

Perfect World’s society is Happiness by Red Velvet. Maybe a little less in-your-face cheery, but it matches. (I fucking love that song)

But Centuries by Fall Out Boy actually fits the overall story really well too.

You Are My Sunshine fits Farid 305′s relationship with his sister wonderfully. I mean wow, truly.

I can’t think of a perfect song for the latter half of the book, but because it’d have to cover certain specifics. But I think that gives you a good idea! :)

Ok guys let me tell you about this poetry book alright? Now, I don't usually read poems, but having followed the author ( @neenorroar) on tumblr and having seen some of her poems, I had to buy it. And man am I glad I did! This collection is full of both painfully true poems that make you ache because you can relate to everything in them, perfectly balanced with beautiful pieces that have you hoping for something better. It perfectly portrays what it's like to be human, covering everything from self doubt, insecurities, heartbreak, and hope. The writing is truly exceptional, with vibrant imagery, powerful lines, and works that really make you feel something. L. Davidson did an excellent job with this collection and I'm so glad I bought it.

24) have you ever become an expert on something you previously knew nothing about, in order to better a scene or a story?

Hoo boy, yeah. I once took an Oceanography class to better understand one of my characters (I mean, I needed the science credit anyways, but I specifically chose that one because of the character). And for my professional writing I do a lot of research! Last week I wrote a blog on wallpaper trends. True story. I now know all the hot new patterns.
