The Iconic Moment I did for the @dgm20thproject summarizing the end of the Ark Arc! A long favourite of mine so I didn't hesitate at all to take this one :3 Still love the Red alt better but the Blue version worked well with the Ark Arc vibe. The Arc was an absolute pain to draw, even more since half of it got hidden in the end X')

It turns out that for about 10 years they drew art, wrote fanfiction, wrote theories and... all this was thrown into the trashcan

we were all convinced that the man from the memories with long hair and glasses was Allen's past life (pastAllen)

and because of this we were sure that Allen was Neah's friend and that is why he became a vessel for his memory

but chapter 252 of the manga comes out and shows that all these years we have been reading the manga and did not see that the mangaka then said that this is not Allen

We find out that pastAllen is not Allen, but pastLavi

and find out what pastAllen actually looks like

but the most important thing! we learn that Allen doesn't know Neah at all. but Lavi, on the contrary, didn’t mind putting him in bed considered Neah his friend, even wanted to become his vessel, he was ready to give his life for him

I'm actually glad things turned out this way. The fandom needs a shakeup because... you all know what the chapter release schedule is. Plus I'm LavLen fan, so double win. And the new theories are very interesting, and I wonder how many will turn out to be true.

P.s. I know that I have Allen's icon when Neah is the main one in his body. That's why in the icon he has his eyes closed. It turns out to be very difficult to find icons with dgm manga panels...

Re-readint some chapters. Idk if this was just a little fun Hoshino had here but the tear allen shed from his now cursed eye when he heared the song + it changing shape in the ark really makes me believe stronger that the memory of that night mana became Akuma was all false.

Also remember when Allen (Nea) met Mana I think in chapter 218, MANA WAS CRYING BLOOD FROM HIS LEFT EYE.

I really need to work on human anatomy and perspectives :’) I went through like 3 or 4 different drafts for the body for mana because it just looked so wrong for all of them.

I spent like an hour drawing and arranging the strawberries seeds so I’m showing them here. They’re not even dots they’re actually rain dropped shaped and I had to orient them individually :’)

Look at this lol mana’s neck is just broken and neah just doesn’t have a neck. They’re not even at the same perspective. Sigh
