To all the normies out there wondering why we artísts are making Lloyd and other hybrids more visibility so, allow me to educate you on some things. I mean no offense with any of this, I am just stating the facts.

Canonically, Wu and Garmadon are some amount of oni and dragon (wu with more dragon and garm with more oni), they have no canonical mother.

This means Lloyd is only 50% human. What does this mean exactly. You, dear ninjago indulger, have 50% of each of your parents individual DNAs, but how much of that determines your alleles (i.e. genetic differences in appearance and whatnot)? Come closer,

[As of 2017, it's either 0.6% or 0.06% I can't remember where the decimal goes.]

When we talk about being half [insert race here] it refers to a fraction of this percentage.

Now, to put that in perspective,

A 3% difference of total DNA separates us from orangutans.

A 12% difference of DNA separates us from mice.

A 40% difference separates us from birds.

A 50% difference separates us from bananas. Plants. That is a totally different organism. It's not even an animal. Makes you wonder what was in that 10%: cell structure, digestion and chloroplasts apparently.

Lloyd is 50% human in all likelihood, so yeah he's gonna be different. He just lucked out that one of his quarters* was for a humanoid species or he'd be like some hairy dino, lmao. (Oh I guess that's a rhino?)
