I've seen some people designing Caleb and Evelyn's kid. Now, I can't draw for shit and I have little to no lore for them apart from their name. They're called Kalyn. This is a gender neutral name and the 'lyn' comes from that ye olde Clawthorne tradition and the 'kal' is in honour of Caleb. I think it's nice to have their name honour their dead dad. Kalyn means 'keeper of keys' which has no significance at all but I think it's a cool meaning.

I'm so happy we finally got more of a backstory and a happy ending for Namsom and Kor in City of Stars, even if some of the flashbacks were super painful to watch.

There's this part when that horrible, hateful aunt is being intentionally cruel and transphobic, and I think the translator did a really good job of substituting cultural differences and a lack of gendered pronouns by having the aunt intentionally misgender Namsom:

Still, I don't think the subs quite manage to bring across how incredibly rude and hurtful and transphobic (and homophobic too btw) she really is.

Because in Thailand/Theravada Buddhism sons often ordain for a few weeks or months to honour their parents/family. This isn't expected of daughters. See where this is going?*

(*That being said, some conservative temples/monasteries might not want trans or queer people in general to ordain either because they view queerness as a distraction and/or a bad karma.)

Then there's this bit where the English subs again intentionally use the wrong pronouns but in the Thai original the horrible aunt calls Namsom a slur (tut/ตุ๊ด - which afaik is used for [effeminate] men only) along with kathoey (กะเทย - which is NOT a slur, even if that horrible woman meant it that way) - making it very clear what exactly she thinks of her.

And later, when Namsom tells Kor that she is kathoey (and negl that scene almost broke my heart for so many different reasons 😭), she shows him her ID card.*

Currently there is no way for trans folk in Thailand to change their legal sex, meaning that whenever they have to show any kind of ID (which afaik happens quite often in professional environments) they automatically out themselves. The marriage equality bill that's currently underway will hopefully change that soon. 🙏

(*This was also a plot point in My Ride when one of the moto-taxi drivers discovered that his crush was trans when he found her purse - and he didn't care either. 🥰)

A bit of a summary; the reader is in the illusion track, and they've been trying to perfect a spell they've been working on, so they decide to test it on Hunter, so the reader ends up casting multiple illusions of themselves 'pleasuring' Hunter if y'know what I mean, which leads to him getting overstimulated by said illusions of reader.

Hint; bonus points if Hunter is tied up and the real reader watches him get fucked by their illusions.

Sounds like an interesting request, but since you didn't specify if the reader has female body parts or male body parts I somehow tried to make it gender neutral?

Y/n paced around the room, making circles with their fingers as they practiced their illusion for the upcoming contest. And to impress the judges they decided to use the hardest illusion trick they knew

For a normal witch the illusions might have seemed impressive, with every detail of the illusion being spot on. But Y/n had thought otherwise

For every spell they casted they kept getting frustrated, for their their illusions were just not good enough. Sure, they were probably going to win,,, but they just needed to get better, even though it was practically impossible to get higher quality illusions

They let out a frustrated groan as they plopped down onto their bed and looked at the ceiling. A sigh escaped their lips as multiple scenario's went through their head, trying to find a perfect illusion to at least practice with before creating an even harder one

Suddenly there was a knock on the door, Y/n sighed as they got up andunlocked the door, opening it to see their loving boyfriend of God knows how long, Hunter

"You okay? You haven't left your room in a while." Hunter asked, worry laced in his voice. Suddenly, an idea sparked inside of Y/n's mind

They smirked as they stepped slightly aside, motioning for Hunter to walk in, and so he did

Y/n closed the door behind him as they opened their mouth to speak

"So.. Hunter." They started, the witches ears perked up as he listened closely, "do you know that contest that I mention." They said, locking the door as they started to take slow steps towards him

"Yeah, you were just pratecing for it." Hunter said in a confused tone

"Well... I want to get your opinion on my illusions. I wand to wow the judges, y'know." Y/n said, grabbing his shoulders gently

"Sure, I'd like to see your illusion." Hunter said innocently as he let Y/n guide him to sit on their bed

He put his hands onto his knees as Y/n sat down behind him, hugging him from behind. Hunter let out a small chuckle as he shook his head lightly

"Okay, are you ready?" Y/n said, starting to feel a bit unsure of their lewid idea while Hunter just nodded innocently

Y/n sighed as they slowly drew a circle in to the air. Hunter switched his attention towards the empty side of the room as they waited for the illusion

The illusion quickly formed as he could feel his face heading up at the sight

There the two of you were, Y/n above him, slowly taking off his clothes in a teasing manner as they only chuckled in delight

"Aren't you just the sweetest thing.. melting at my touch." Y/n chuckled as they tugged on Hunter's boxers, hunter whimpered as his ears lowered slightly, his lips slightly parted as he looked at Y/n needily

"Please Y/n, I need you." He whispered with a husky voice, lifting his hands up to hold on to Y/n's chin gently

"You'll just have to be patient my love." Y/n whispered into his ear as they let out a chuckle

The illusion poofed out of existence as Hunter swallowed the lump in his throat, already feeling himself getting hard underneath his clothes

"W-wow, uh-m. Those are some.. interesting illusions." Hunter stuttered as he gripped his knees tighter and clenched his jaw

"Oh, but I have plenty more illusion to show you." Y/n said teasingly into his ear, making him shiver lightly, but in a good way? He wasn't sure what to feel at this moment, but he knew that that feeling sure as hell wasn't fear. No. He could never be afraid of his partner

"Then show me." He said, Y/n's eyes widened as they looked at hunter with a shocked expression

"A-are you sure?" They questioned, only to receive a barely visible nod from Hunter

They let out a sigh as they focused on their next illusion. Drawing a circle in the air the illusion quickly appeared in the same place, just this time it was a little,,, different

Moans erupted into the room as Hunter's head was thrown back, Y/n's head bobbing up and down. Hunter's left hand sat on top of Y/n's head as he gripped onto their hair, slight drool visible coming out of his parted lips

"Y/n- please.. I-I can't take it anymore!" Hunter whined as he let out needy moans and groans, his right hand desperately gripping onto the floor

Y/n got off of Hunter, their lips making a pop as they lost contact with his dick, making Hunter let out a loud whine. But soon their hands gripped onto him, replacing their head movements from just a few seconds ago

"You just have to wait a little longer for me. Can you do that for me? Please?" Y/n said, looking at Hunter with lustful eyes as he moved his mouth, trying to get words out but nothing came, only sighs and moans as he tried to contain himself from busting then and there

Y/n grinned as they went up and kisses Hunter's nose, then kiss cheek, and finally his lips. Picking up the pace with their hands hunter scrunched his face up as he desperately dug his nails into the floor

"... Now." Y/n said. Soon enough Hunter let out a loud moan as he came, white liquid pouring out of hims as some even managed to get onto Y/n

He panted heavily as he rested his forehead against Y/n's. Y/n let a warm smile spread across their face as they caressed Hunter's cheek with their clean hand

"Good boy." They whispered. The illusion then quickly disappeared, leaving hunter speechless as his pants how began to feel uncomfortable

Y/n smirked, seeing the sweat slowly form on Hunter's forehead as they let out a chuckle

"How about one more illusion." Y/n said, humming lightly as they waited for Hunter's response. He just sat there without a word, his gripp on hus knees making the tips of his fingers feel numb

Y/n drew one final circle as another illusion is displayed in the same spot as the two other ones

Now moaning and slapping sounds filled the room as Hunter's head was against the floor, ass up as Y/n pounded in to him, their dick/strap on hitting the best places Y/n bent down, huffing lightly as they whispered in hunters ear

"How you feeling pretty boy?" They smirked as Hunter wasn't able to give a response, only letting out struggled moans as drool dripped down onto the floor, barely keeping his eyes open

Y/n went back up as they moved their hands from Hunter's hips to his ass, giving it a light squeeze

At that Hunter let out a whine as he desperately tried getting their hands back to his hips. Y/n let out a huffed laugh

They grabbed onto Hunter's extended hand, stopping their pointing for a moment to pull him up, lightly gripping onto his face with their fingers finger in his mouth to keep it open

They started roughly pounding into him as they started to jerk him off with the other hand. Hunter started to moan loudly as tears formed in the corner of his eyes, trying not to bite down on Y/n's finger as choked moansleft his mouth

He gripped Y/n's hand with his as he tried to pull them away, only leading into faliure as Y/n only ousted their finger into his mouth more, making him choke slightly

He let out a loud choked out most as he came, the while liquid gushing out as it dripped onto the floor and their fingers

Y/n slowed down their movements before completely stopping, the two panting heavily

The illusion quickly disappeared as Y/n looked towards Hunter with an evil grin

"So,,, how are the illusions?" They asked, Hunter let out a shaky breath s he stood up and walked towards the door

"They were.. great, but I have to... Deal with something." Hunter let out an awkward cough as he unlocked the door and left the room

Y/n's grin only widened as they fell back onto their bed

Maybe they haven't perfected their illusion trick for the contest, but at least they spend time with their boyfriend

Genuine thought as a fellow trans dude, I’ve seen a lot of (obviously non-serious) questions on other blogs about characters’ genitals such as “how does it look like?” and similar, and I think we all know & understand that such questions are extremely inappropriate to ask and (I hope) no one would actually go around asking these questions irl. Idk, I think we should treat trans characters just like cis ones, without any special “precautions”, so to normalise them and not make cis people treat them like fragile boxes, a thing which happens to a lot of us irl. Hope this doesn’t come off as an attack or anything lol.

no worries, i didn't take this as an attack at all. i actually agree with you, that's why i mentioned feeling conflicted about it and also mentioned that i've changed my stance on how i felt about handling Noel and Clementine in game and in explicit intimate scenes.

however, for me the problem comes from the fact that people... don't ask these kinds of questions about cis characters? i suppose people do get cheeky "who is the biggest 🤪" asks but i would hardly compare the two. to be a bit crude, no one is going to be asking if a cis character has a dick or not, or "what does it look like". of course it's natural for people to be curious, and i honestly encourage the open discussion and am happy to see trans bodies being talked about more in a positive way, but not everyone is going to be comfortable with it due to the inescapable transphobia online and in the community. sending me that kind of ask is like sending out an invitation for a debate or a discussion that i don't necessarily want to have. i also just don't think people should default to asking a random IF author on tumblr dot com to describe what bottom growth looks like.

and with most of these asks typically coming from someone who is anonymous, i have no way of truly knowing what the tone is, what their intentions are or why this is being asked - is it another trans person? or maybe someone who is just genuinely curious? or, more likely in my experience, is it someone who is going to immediately follow up this message with something transphobic after i answer? do i want to roll the dice and find out?

so while i agree with what you're saying, it's important to consider the context and the reality we live in. the IF community is not kind to trans people or trans characters. and as a trans person, my first priority is protecting myself and my mental health. so what i mean when i say "precautions," is that those precautions are for me, because i've had to deal with transphobic harassment here for years now, and i try to mitigate it as much as i can. it's also for my personal comfort - again, to be blunt, i'm simply just not comfortable discussing a trans character's genitals with anonymous strangers on the internet. it makes me feel vulnerable.

also i do want to say i didn't mean for any of that to come across as a dig at other authors - if you're comfortable answering those kinds of questions, that's really only something you can decide for yourself. like i said, this is just coming from my own experiences in IF and for my own personal comfort - i have previously talked a lot about trans stuff and gender and sexuality here, when i'm feeling up to it, but it is something that is very draining for me and can also be very upsetting.

basically: i do agree that it's important not to other trans characters or treat them any differently than cis characters, but i also think there are ways to do it that don't require me answering invasive questions or questions that i don't feel comfortable with as a real life trans person, you know what i mean?
