hey is the evil eye more of a folklore thing than religion? because it’s seen other non greek/culture that has the evil eye people use it in their hellenic polytheism but to me it’s always been a cultural thing you know? like folklore

It's not folklore exactly, it's a cultural element that exists in the Mediterranean, the Middle East and South America. The Evil Eye as we know it today probably originates from the Greek culture, given the olderst findings with blue eye beads were Greek.

So, as you said it's a cultural thing. But Hellenic Polytheism is also the most culturally Greek thing one could engage with. If worshipers keep all the customs, keeping the blue eye also doesn't seem like a problematic thing.

Of course I'd rather have people use it within the proper cultural practice (like, if they also follow other Greek traditions as part of their faith) or at least acknowledge its origin when they use it.

Ngl it feels a bit... fetishistic and entitled when people use whatever elements from different cultures they like in their practice, with no regard for how these elements must fit with other elements from the same culture.

I originally had Jaxxon in mind to be the founder of something similar to McKamey Manor, that controversial haunted house where they make you sign a waver to allow them to torture you for up to 8 hours.

Bhaskar a reputed news site reported that ishu is training for dy patil tournament and didn't play ranji cause he was unprepared. People are trolling ishu that he didn't participate in the ranji cause he only wants to get rich and not play for the country. Now should a person who took a break for mental fatigue and hasn't probably practiced cricket for a month play ranji ? Wouldn't that be disrespecting the sport he worships ? Because he would not be giving his 100% to a sport he has given his everything too. Instead of not giving your 100% isn't it better to skip that tournament get healthy, practice and give your 100% in another tournament ? And especially when ishu was not in the beginning of the tournament should he just walk in and replace another player who has given his everything to the tournament till then ? Wouldn't that be disrespecting the player and the sport ? It is reported that ishan is training in the Kiran More Academy and thats extremely good as Kiran More was the one who found MSD. Also shubi was missing in the practice session yesterday in rajkot and ishu is reportedly in vadodara👀 am not saying tho....
