Started out as a Wright family picture (concept art below the cut) but turned into a group picture of all of my faves. Image ID under Keep Reading.
[Image ID: A group picture of Ace attorney characters. From back left to front right are the characters as follows:
Back Row: Nayuta Sadmadhi, Simon Blackquill, Athena Cykes, Klavier Gavin
Middle row, behind couch: Sebastian Debeste, Ema Skye, Kay Faraday, Miles Edgeworth, Trucy Wright, Apollo Justice
Middle row, sitting on couch: Maya Fey, Pearl Fey, Phoenix Wright
Front row, sitting on floor in front of couch: Franziska von Karma, Rayfa Padma Khura'in
Nayuta and Simon are looking at each other and blushing, a spectral Khura'inese butterfly between them.
Miles Edgeworth is staring at Phoenix Wright and blushing. Phoenix is staring at Miles' hand, which has accidentally grasped Phoenix's shoulder, and blushing.
Trucy Wright is pulling Miles' shoulder and which is making him off balance, as Kay Faraday is contributing to making him off balance by jumping in front of him/pushing him towards Trucy for the picture.
Kay has one hand showing the victory/peace sign while her other is holding onto Ema Skye's shoulder and pulling her towards Kay. Ema is looking at Kay and Blushing.
Sebastian Debeste is surprised by Kay, Trucy, and Ema making miles off balance and is nearly hit by Miles' outstretched arm.
Maya Fey is barely holding in laughter watching this scene unfold in front of her. Franziska von Karma is looking amusedly at her brother. Pearl Fey is too busy looking at the Khura'inese butterfly to notice the commotion behind her.
Athena Cykes is jumping happily in the background and in mid-air. Widget is bright green and has a big smile.
Klavier Gavin is leaning on top of Apollo Justice's head, using him as support and looking down towards Apollo and blushing.
Apollo looks mortified to be used as an arm/chinrest but he is also blushing.
Rayfa Padma Khura'in is sitting on front of Phoenix with her eyes closed, ignoring the antics of the other characters.
End ID.]
As you may be able to tell, this picture includes all my favorite ships. In general I find most ships versitile in the Ace Attorney Fandom, but the ones I like most are Narumitsu and Klapollo.

Throwback to AA5! I imagine Simon’s muttering Nayuta’s name the way Timmy Turner’s dad mutters Dinkleburg’s name.

MUN QUESTIONS.
Q1 :   if  you  could  write  your  character  your  way  in  their  own  movie ,   what  would  it  be  called ,  what  style  would  it  be  filmed  in ,  and  what  would  it  be  about ?       A1 : It would be called Apollo’s Justice and it would give the most satisfying ending I could think of where he makes his own legacy and isn’t discounted in the process, all while embracing his found family and adoptive family.  At least one implied scene where he kisses his love interest but it’s treated very privately, as sacred as he feels it should be. ... Anime style? Good quality anime.
Q2 :  what  would  their  soundtrack / score  sound  like ?         A2 :  We already have that!
Q3 :   why  did  you  start  writing  this  character ?   A3 :  I have always had characters that are strongly aligned with justice, and lawfully good.  I had the cowboy, and Reinhardt from overwatch, and I always enjoyed how they were written.  Also my multimuse blog that included Luigi failed, so when I found the Ace Attorney fandom as I left it when I was a kid,  I gravitated back, caught up with the games, met the fandom and just... plopped down.
Q4 :  what  first  attracted  you  to  this  character ? A4 :  His design. How he acts in game. His dumb little blush.  His dynamic with other characters, it was just inescapable.
Q5 :  describe  the  biggest  thing  you  dislike  about  your  muse.         A5 :  He’s really not the brightest bulb at times. Sometimes I worry if I make him too dumb or obtuse.
Q6 :  what  do  you  have  in  common  with  your  muse ?       A6 : Work oriented.  Loyal to a fault. A little bit flustered at times.
Q7 :   how  does  your  muse  feel  about  you ?         A7 :  We’ve agreed that as long as  he’s allowed time to rest, recover, and recoup after strenuous events, that he won’t leave. I’ve had muses leave me because I didn’t listen to their three R’s, dear ocs that are on permanent vacation.
Q8 :   what  characters  does  your  muse  have  interesting  interactions with ?   A8 : Most everyone here.  I owe my thanks to @bloodxhound, @guilty-love @kagoshou @tactful-kind-daedra @thievinggentleman  @theothervonkarmagirl @temsikfates @kamipyre @edgelord-dl6   @solarguided and  so many more blogs that came, wrote with me and developed Apollo with me to where he is. All of you have brought so much to the table,  and  I never have enough words to thank you, or to give properly. I may not be able to plot properly at times or respond with decent  story, but I am so grateful you are all here. Huge shout out to @thegrapesdepression .  I can never do enough to write the best stories with you, or on discord. Love you, buddy.
Q9 :   what  gives  you  inspiration  to  write  your  muse ?       A9 :  Everyone mentioned above.
Q10 :  how  long  did  this  take  you  to  complete ?       A10 : Two hours? I give short answers.

A/N: Custody Battle AU. @unprofessionalamber actually wrote a couple paragraphs for this one. It’s the objection Edgeworth raises and Justine’s response to Zak using a certain derogatory term to refer to Nayuta.
Zak Gramarye took the witness stand, tilting his head a bit to crack his neck. A small pop could be heard. Apollo tensed up beside Maya. Maya turned her head towards him, frowning a little.
“All right, so we’re talking about that magic trick accident in Turkey, right?” Zak asked.
“Is there another incident that meets these criteria, Mr. Enigmar?” Judge Courtney asked.
“Magic lessons tend to run together,” Zak said. “So does math lessons. But I remember the incident. It was more of a juggling magic trick than anything else. We were doing math tutoring when the boy asked me how I pulled the trick off. I grabbed some of the magic equipment that was in the room - heavier balls than were really necessary, it turned out, but I’m a strong man. I sometimes don’t know my own strength. But the poor wall certainly would’ve preferred the sponge balls Trucy uses. I ended up throwing it too hard. It first hit the ceiling, then bounced off the ceiling and hit the wall, flying past the boy’s head. Naturally, Apollo was startled by the incident. It might have looked like I had thrown it at him from the she-male’s perspective.”
“OBJECTION!” Edgeworth’s voice rang out, his hand slamming on the desk. As though he had been waiting for Zak to say such a thing and had been poised for the pounce. “The witness cannot use such derogatory language to describe a person, let alone a minor!”
“What else am I supposed to call him? He’s not exactly a boy, in the traditional sense,” Zak rebutted.
“Your honor, the plaintiff calls for the witness to cease referring to Mr. Sadmadhi’s child in such a derogatory manner. It is irrelevant to this case, and is against a minor no less. Should this behavior continue, I move for Mr. Enigmar to be held in contempt of court.” “Objection sustained. Mr. Enigmar, you’d do well to show respect for children of all identities while you’re in this courtroom, or you’ll face punishment from the Goddess of the Law.”
Zak turned to look at Phoenix, but Phoenix looked like he was still recovering from hearing the word “she-male” in the year 2019. Magnifi just stared at Zak with a very unimpressed expression. Zak cleared his throat and hunched his shoulders.
“Understood,” Zak said. “Um.... I noticed Nayuta was there after the ball had hit the wall, and I didn’t think much of it and hadn’t quite understood why he looked alarmed. He then ran off down the hall. I shrugged it off and focused more on how I was going to break it to Magnifi that we’d have to pay the repair bill for the hostel. Then Valant showed up and I explained what had happened. And that’s what happened.”
“And both you and Valant stand by this story,” Edgeworth said.
“Yes, Mr. Edgeworth,” Zak said.
“And you don’t exactly have proof that they’re lying, unless you’ve been keeping something from us, Mr. Edgeworth,” Phoenix said.
Edgeworth glared at Phoenix.
“If anything, this testimony has told us that Nayuta has plenty of reason to distrust Mr. Enigmar and has reason to be biased against him as a result,” Phoenix said. “Making only his testimony of how he had been treated by the troupe to be credible.”
Edgeworth’s glare intensified. If Phoenix was intimidated, he didn’t show it.
“Do you often tutor Apollo in math, Mr. Enigmar?” Edgeworth asked.
“Once a day, every other day. I mostly am involved in Trucy’s education, and Magnifi has Apollo focus on a different set of subjects for a particular day of the week. Languages and cultural studies one day, history and geography another day, math the day after that, sciences on another, etc., etc.”
“And this is the only incident that occurred during all your tutoring sessions?”
“Yes,” Zak said.
Edgeworth watched Zak’s face. Then he happened to glance in Phoenix’s direction.
Phoenix’s eyes had widened, and he watched as the man’s eyes moved from one side of Zak’s general direction to the other, as though he could see something different about him.
Edgeworth remembered the case with Iris Hawthorne. He remembered the “psycho-locks.”
Was that what Phoenix was seeing? Did Phoenix finally get the picture now?
“I see,” Edgeworth said, knowing he didn’t have anything to work with right then. “What kind of math have you been teaching him?”
“Algebra, mostly,” Zak said. “I’ve also been teaching him how to count cards and play some poker. Can’t have him growing up without knowing a skill like that, not with how much we play among ourselves.”
“Poker?” Edgeworth asked, voice deadpan and disapproving.
“Yes. Poker. Really helps exercise the math skills,” Zak said.
“You have a problem with poker, Mr. Edgeworth?” Phoenix asked.
“It’s not exactly a straight-lace game, Mr. Wright,” Edgeworth said.
“What’s your point? I knew how to play at Trucy’s age,” Phoenix said. “It doesn’t say anything about the troupe’s ability to parent. And he’s right, poker is a game where knowing math is pretty useful, so it would be good practice for those skills.”
“. . . And who were your parents, Mr. Wright?”
“. . . Why do you ask?”
“. . . Because now I’m genuinely curious and it hasn’t occurred to me until just now that I have no idea,” Edgeworth said.
“My parents aren’t relevant to this case, Mr. Edgeworth,” Phoenix said. “But the point still stands that knowing how to play all in itself says nothing about Zak’s ability to parent or teach. It’s just a game, really, after all. The only illegal part is when you place monetary bets. Were you teaching Apollo how to gamble, Mr. Enigmar?”
“Of course not,” Zak said. “It’s frowned upon to rob children of their money.”
Zak laughed at his own comment. Apollo gave Zak an irritated look.
“The only one who can beat him at poker is Grandpa,” Trucy said, smiling.
“So what kind of math do you teach Apollo, Mr. Enigmar?” Edgeworth asked.
“Algebra,” Zak said.
“Would you say it’s a subject Apollo is good at?”
“He’s as good at it as anyone else his age, I believe,” Zak said.
“Mmhm. Does the court have any objections to us testing that theory?” Edgeworth asked.
“Test?” Apollo said, looking a little intimidated.
“I have prepared ahead of time a test with math problems that Apollo should be able to solve at his age, unless there are any learning disabilities that haven’t been disclosed,” Edgeworth continued. “Nayuta has taken the test ahead of time, and I have a feeling their scores will be very similar.”
“How does the plaintiff propose Apollo take this test?” Judge Courtney asked.
“He’d be allowed a desk, paper, and a timer in order to work out a sheet’s worth of simple algebra problems that he should be able to find the answers to in an allotted time frame of fifteen minutes, then I would present a few orally presented word problems that he’d then be allowed to work out on paper before presenting his final answer. Each of those word problems shouldn’t take more than ten minutes each.”
“The court asks that Mr. Edgeworth bring the math problems to the bench so I may look them over to ascertain that they are indeed appropriate for his age,” Judge Courtney said.
“But of course,” Edgeworth said with a bow.
He then gathered the math he had brought with him from his folder, then took it to Justine, handing it over.
She took her time looking the math over, and Edgeworth waited patiently. Apollo was starting to sweat. He looked over at Clay, Aura, and Solomon Starbuck in the gallery. Clay gave Apollo a thumbs-up, showing that he remembered what they had talked about the night before. Apollo took a deep breath to try to calm himself down, but it wasn’t working so well.
“These math problems seem to be in order,” Judge Courtney said.
“Uh, Your Honor?” Phoenix said.
“Yes, Mr. Wright?”
“May we have a ten minute break? The prospect of being suddenly tested on his math skills seems to be sending Apollo into a mild panic attack.”
“I’m fine, Mr. Wright!” Apollo ended up shouting, his voice cracking at the end.
Edgeworth, Judge Courtney, Phoenix, and everyone else stared at Apollo, watching him sweat and beginning to hyperventilate.
“. . . A ten minute break sounds perfectly acceptable. We will have a ten minute break, then Apollo will have his math test, then we will break for lunch and go over his answers after the lunch break.”
“Yes, Your Honor,” Phoenix and Edgeworth said together.
Apollo’s breathing got heavier. He gripped and wrung the edges of his cape, wrinkling the red fabric.

This was 1/2 of what I managed to do yesterday! Drawing has really become a struggle for me, not only because my jobs take up all of my time, but I guess mental things are making it much harder for me to produce and/or finish my artwork. It’s very frustrating. This is a fairly small unfinished sketch, and it still took me hours to do.

Creator’s comments: Nayuta
We wanted a physical appearance similar to that of Buddah, a being that transcended genders, so I tried to find a balance between the hairstyle, facial features and body proportions. I was a bit hesitant about the ‘half closed eyes expression’ in the illustration on the left, but when I presented it I went “this is it!” and I made sudden decision to go with it. I think he looks like a formidable rival prosecutor that can see straight through you, but so mysterious that you can’t tell what he’s thinking.
