Sam Anderson x reader - Panic

You don't know how it happened, but the hyperventilating and rapid heartbeat feels like you're dying. Your throat aches by how dry it is, and you don't even notice him come into the room..

"Shit- Are you okay?!" He exclaims worriedly, it's not everyday you see the person you care so dearly about breathing as if air doesn't exist.

Sam quickly plops right next to you and brings you closer, head on his chest as he runs your back trying to hide how worried he is.

"Hey.. it's gonna be okay, let's get that breathing under control, 'kay?"

You give a slight nod as your breathing slowly but surely slows down as he whispers sweet words and hugs you tightly, just enough so you know he's still there for you.

Head still pounding you lean more into the comforting arms of Sam as he continues the gentle touches on your back and arms, he may not understand what's going on but he still wants to be there for you, make you feel safe. His heart beat fills your ears, it's so calming.

Soon enough your breathing is calmed down as you just lay against Sam who doesn't seem to mind, his voice breaks through the fog in your mind as he repeats simple phrases of appreciation and comfort.

"It's gonna be alright"

"Just keep breathin'"

Fall is slowly settling in overtop Chicago as apple picking, pumpkin patches, and more start opening up. At breakfast the incubrothers and Y/n eat and talk amongst themselves about what they should during the new season.

Mattew speaks up after swallowing a mouthful of pancakes "The carnival is coming up, we should go!"

Giving him a side eye James sighs and answers "I'll look at the tickets and what else is in the area"

"That sounds like fun, maybe we could start out slow first? Like a pumpkin patch?" Y/n suggest sitting next to Sam, their boyfriend.

The other brothers agree, and everyone starts making plans for the beautiful season.

Later in the night Y/n and Sam, mainly Y/n, are getting ready for bed so they can get up and have a fun filled day in the morning, Sam is on the bed watching something on two brothers dealing with supernatural entities on the flat screen across from the bed.

"Hey Sam? Whatcha watchin'?" Y/n comes fresh from the shower wearing one of his shirts to sleep in, but as Sam looks over, they could swear the gold in his eyes flickered much more than usual.

"Doofus, babe, you do know what you're doing right?" he questions looking between his shirt and Y/n's face.

"I don't know what you're talking about" Y/n smugly holds onto his arm pressing their chest to said arm.

"You definitely know what you are doing right now" Sam turns the volume of the TV up a bit as his hands slide under the shirt slowly as he leans in closer and closer until his lips connects to Y/n's.

In the morning, everyone is getting ready for everything they planned the day before, they get to the town square and go their separate ways to go at their own pace as Sam and Y/n walk around and look at the gorgeous scenery. Picking apples, spotting cute pets in silly animals, and more. Soon as all fall days it slowly gets chillier as the day goes on. Sam and Y/n sit by cafe selling cider and the classic pumpkin flavored treats. They both sit in comfortable silence between each other.

Y/n scoots a little closer to their warmer lover and sets their head in his shoulder lovingly.

"You're fuckn' adorable ya' know that?" Sam says with a not so rare soft tone

Y/n simply smiles and hugs his arm a little tighter "Just wanna be close to you"

"I ain't going anywhere so be as close as you want Doofus"
