I really hate Sovieshu for everything he did to Navier but if Rashta never came in and Navier and Sovieshu communicated their feelings properly they could've been a really cute childhood friends to lovers couple :')

I have not seen the webtoon yet. Does Navier cry in the webtoon like she cries in novel when Sovieshu said "I love you" to her? I know webtoon is notorious about erasing many Navier Sovieshu soft scenes. So I don't have high hopes.

I just posted my first fic in this fandom , and I was forced to do it because there are not so many ficsI know it's a guilty pleasure, but hey, I hope the people with whom I share this pleasure like my fic .

It is set in the novel, because the kiss that Sovieshu gave to Navier in the novel was stolen from me.They didn't set it in the manwha buuu.

Sovieshu also had the same dream together. He left Navier cause he thought he was dying and staying with Navier would kill her too. So he sacrificed his life to save her in his dream.

Something tells me they share a telepathic connection and both are unaware of it. And it's amazing how Navier in her most delicate and vulnerable situation, she sees Sovieshu and tries to cling to him. Even when she woke up she saw Sovieshu's shadow over heinry's body. Sovieshu, the man she claims to hate yet seeks his comfort. Then again, the opposite of love isn't hatred, it's indifference. Navier would never be able to indifferent to Sovieshu because she would always care about him even when she's hating him.

It's fascinating to see their relationship going from friends to lovers, then hating each other and finally coming in terms with each other in the end.

Navier acts so cold in front Sovieshu but when he's not around her true feelings gets out. She loves him, she hates him.

Their relationship is complicated yes, but their dynamic is never boring that's for sure.

Still thinking about Navieshu... We could have had such a good romantic story in a fantasy setting! I'm still upset about it 😭 just imagine what a beautiful love story it could be... they had so much potential, so many possibilities. This scene IMO is one of most emotional one in TRE. I love/hate everything about this.

At least Sovieshu the idiot™ is self aware.

The thing is Sovieshu, Navier never laughed at your pain. She felt satisfaction in your humiliation during court trial but never laughed at your pain. She even felt distressed when she saw you in pain (by her own admission). She freaking cared about you, even when you were hurting her.

Navier: Staring at him, I began to remember every moment lived in the Eastern Empire.

When he doubted me, when he hurt me by siding with Rashta, when he chose Rashta over me in front of everybody, when he banished my brother, and when he announced to divorce me.

My memories went back even further after that. I remembered the first day Rashta came to the palace. When we dined together before he brought her home. When he smiled as he said his wife was the best empress. The day we got engaged. The coronation. The wedding.

Tears gushed into my eyes even though I didn't want to cry.

I wanted to hit him with a pillow like I used to.

I wanted to ask him why he abandoned me.

We weren't madly in love, but we were friends. No, I actually liked him.

I wanted to cry and shout at him. I wanted to ask him how he could do that to me; how he could just forget about all the years we spent together; how he could do everything he had when he was my husband and I was his wife.

Even though I wanted to keep a straight face, my tears kept flowing.
