Today on my blog, I gave a deeper look at the works hanging in my solo exhibition (for those of you who can't make it, and for those of you who'd like to know more about what inspired the pieces).

I have a hard time wearing jewelry if it doesn’t have some kind of stone as a part of it. I really believe in their healing power and I feel naked without as one sort of stone on me at all times. All of the necklaces I make have been adorned with semiprecious stone beads. This wood mountain pendant has an ombré embellishment of howlite, turquoise and lapis.
