Just Room Enough Island, also known as Hub Island, is an island located in the Thousand Islands chain, in New York, United States. The island is known for being the smallest inhabited island, which appears to be around 3,300 square feet (310 m2), or about one-thirteenth of an acre. Purchased by the Sizeland family in the 1950s, the island has a house, a tree, shrubs, and a small beach.

Okay so, being a creature of the nether, lots of nether creatures are affected by water and snow. Striders mainly come to mind with getting cold as soon as they walk off lava.
Tango sorta works the same imo, when in the nether, his skin is more flushed and his hair will burn a more red flame. This is because the nether is keeping him at his warm optimal temperature, so the flame burns colder.
On the overworld, his hair will burn a hotter flame and therefore is more yellow white.
While living in the citadel that's full of ice, the flame then becomes white/blue as that's usually the colour of a hot flame than of red/yellow fire. This also happens if he were to live in any other cold biome or in the end as its a void/space type biome.

Bro there's a paper that came out yesterday (July 9, 2024) that found that Desertas Petrels (a smaller species of oceanic seabird) will follow close behind cyclones for literally thousands of miles. They discovered this entirely on accident. Like, it just happened that a huge number of these researchers' remote tracked petrels would simultaneously converge behind tropical storms and follow them at close range for days on end.
It's hypothesized that this is bc the storms increase surface chlorophyll, which draws the birds' prey closer to the surface, therefore making for easier meals for the petrels. This is the first time this tropical-storm-following behavior has been seen, as previously studied oceanic seabird species either fly into the calmer eye of the storm or adjust their flights to avoid storms entirely.
These guys!!!!

Is Chicago, Illinois Cheap or Expensive? Here’s the Answer.
Tumblr media
If you’re mulling over a move to this bustling metropolis and scanning the “real estate for sale in Chicago, Illinois”, you’re likely curious: Is Chicago cheap or expensive?
Housing Costs in Chicago
When it comes to the housing market, the prices are as diverse as the city itself. A general consensus shows moderate costs compared to coastal cities.
Chicago’s Real Estate Market
From luxury condos downtown to single-family houses in the suburbs, Chicago has a range of accommodation styles. Naturally, the cost varies depending on the type and location.
Luxury Living in Chicago
If you opt for the high-end spectrum of “new properties for sale in the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs,” prices can reach into the millions.
Middle-of-the-pack Living
For more modest budgets, homes outside the hub can be attractively priced, providing excellent value in terms of space and amenities.
Cost of Living Index
Considering other living costs, Chicago’s index stands at 106.9, slightly above the U.S. average of 100. While some areas could be expensive, others are surprisingly affordable.
Food and Leisure Prices
Dining out in Chicago can be both a bargain and a splurge. Street food is wallet-friendly, whereas fine dining experiences can be quite steep.
Transportation Costs in Chicago
Getting around Chicago with public transit systems is reasonable. Meanwhile, parking and gas prices can significantly increase the commuting costs for car owners.
Verdict: Cheap or Expensive?
As seen, it completely depends on your lifestyle and where you choose to live and dine. By researching and budgeting, it’s possible to find cost-effective solutions.
Find Your Preferred Lifestyle
The housing options align with a wide range of budgets, whether you’re browsing budget-friendly homes or looking for extravagant properties for sale in the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs.
In Summary
Ultimately, living in Chicago can be cheap, expensive, or somewhere in between, factoring in your individual budget, lifestyle, and specific choices — particularly in housing.

This evening I am eating my medication snack and looking out the front window, we have the blinds 3/4 of the way down. Enough to know something decent sized to fairly large is in my driveway and keeps pestering the window screen but not enough to see exactly what.
Now I have always lived on the edge of town or further, no matter where I lived. Currently I can stand at my door and see the tree line, not into it though because its too thick. Its less than half a block.
Could be a dog. Could be a bear. Could be a cow or a pot belly pig.* Could be that person I once saw spider crawl across the highway a block west of us. Could be Hill Folk. Could be the Woods.
I'm closing the blinds the rest of the way cause it ain't my business. Those fuckers are locked. I pour salt and shit in my window sills for witchy and practical reasons. We own so many knives. Its fine.
But it is not my business what the outside does at night.
