š ššššššššš : William, Catherine and George were spotted at White Waltham Airfield for George's flight lessons. Later, they spent time at the West London Aero Club. Kensington Palace released a welcoming statement for the new Earthshot Ambassadors and Council Members on William's behalf.

In the afternoon, he visited Wales Air Ambulance at Llanelli Gate. Afterwards, he visited Parc Y Scarlets to facilitate players as part of WRUās āMissing Capsā Campaign.

šš ššššššššš : William visited Airbus UK Headquarters in Oxford to celebrate Airbus Helicopters 50th Anniversary. It was announced that Catherine & him had made a private donation to Pecan charity in aid of their recovery efforts following the theft food supplies from Southwark Foodbank.
šš ššššššššš : The Prince of Wales visited 22 Special Air Service Regiment at Stirling Lines. He released a personal tweet offering condolences on the passing of Gary Shaw and wishing Aston Villa good luck ahead of their Champion's League game.

Keep up climate and nature momentum until COP30, 70 leaders tell Brazil and Colombia
The likes of Christiana Figueres, Paul Polman and Richard Branson have joined dozens of business leaders, scientists and Indigenous leaders in urging world leaders not to drop the ball on climate and nature in the year ahead.

A collective call to action from the 70 individuals and organisations has been made of Brazil ā the host nation for next yearās UN climate summit (COP30) ā and of Colombia, which this year hosted the bi-annual UN biodiversity summit (COP26).
An open letter from the coalition recognises āintegrated actionā to date on combatting climate change, conserving and restoring nature, ensuing food security and enhancing Indigenous rights.
But it states that far more rapid, far-reaching and joined-up action is needed going forward.
āAs hosts of COP16 and COP30, Colombia and Brazil can forge an enduring partnership that will guide the world by demonstrating the interconnectedness of climate and nature,ā states the letter.
āTogether, you can champion bold action to ensure our efforts to protect nature are aligned with climate action, while placing the urgent transformation of our food systems at the heart of our shared mission for a sustainable future.

EcoAthletes is saddened to learn about the passing of Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer, honorary member of the Grateful Dead, avid cyclist, and environmentalist Bill Walton at 71 of cancer.
The 2-time NCAA Champ at UCLA, 2-time NBA Champ (Portland, Boston), and longtime hoops announcer spoke at a couple of PAC-12 conferenceĀ green summits, intoning in his inimitable baritone, āLive Green or Dieā. Maybe not our exact message but still his heart was in the right place.
It is ironic that the Big Redhead passed one day after his beloved Pac 12 (āThe Conference of Champions!ā) held its last ever sporting event.
Now, for those of you too young to have seen Walton play, or to know his one-of-a-kind story, we heartily recommend āIām the Luckiest Guy In The World,ā the 4-part ESPN 30-for-30 documentary. In the meantime, we at EcoAthletes amp up our commitment to theĀ climate comeback in Waltonās memory. Or as he would likely say, quoting The Deadās āSugar Magnoliaā: āWe can discover the wonders of nature!ā Rest in peace!

Galeās Analysis: Hajime No Ippo: How a man becomes a Monster?

In the World of Hajime no Ippo, there are powerful boxers that Takamura described as Monsters.
Often used to describe those who reached the pinnacle of the Boxing world.
Takamura himself is a self proclaimed Monster (which is under no dispute)

He explains that in the World of Boxing, to be a World champion, one must become a monster, he illustrates that beyond the line is where Monsters live. At this Time, Ippo was fighting to see how far his training could take him.
When this happened Takamura could see the lack of personal motivation, as well as the accumulated damage Ippo was under. He was using this explanation as a warning, that he would not survive unless something changed within him.
Takamura never really explains what it means to be a monster. But by reading the manga we actually can see the 4 requirements for becoming a monster.
1. Training
2. Talent
3. Motivation
4. Ego/Spirit
At the time, Ippo was lacking in The later two. He had the training and work ethic, he had the talent of a hard puncher, but the motivation and Ego were not there. He didnāt have the confidence to believe he could reach the summit.
Ippo loves boxing, but his main goal was never to win, it was to come back in one piece. So that he could run his familyās fishing business. It was never about being a champion.
And thatās why Ippo at the time could never have been more than he is.
But surprisingly, Ippo in his retirement has started to become the monster he wasnāt.
How is that possible?
Well letās look
Training:
Ippo still does his roadwork, and is working out on a level one would say an active boxer would. His training while focused on nurturing his students is arguably even MORE intense than usual.
Talent:
Ippoās strength and analytical sense has actually grown even further after recovering from the accumulated damage. Itās no question heās still has his natural punch.
Motivation:
Ironically his goal of being a second has made him so focused on improvement that he is able to contend with World champion level fighters. Keeping up with Takamura during his training, and WHILE WEARING WEIGHTS.
Ego/Spirit:
Now you will notice I put Ego/Spirit. Ego being oneās self value. But Ego in the sense of pride/self worth isnāt the only means to be a champion. We actually see an example of this in Volg. Who doesnāt view himself as above or below others. Thatās where spirit comes in. Spirit is meant to represent the will to push forward, to achieve their goal. Ippoās motivation to be a second has pushed him so far in spirit that he is arguably world level even in retirement and even able to mimic the styles of CURRENT champions.
However, Ippo still isnāt a monster. Not yet. But heās close.
Because there is one final step to becoming a monster, one I didnāt mention.
One that Takamura himself says.
āCross the line.ā

Itās the trigger to ascend to the level, surpass oneās limits and let your dream become manifest. You must give up being Human.
He needs the Resolve/Spirit to go beyond.
And by the time Hajime no Ippo is at its end.
We will see Ippo transform from Man to Monster.

HOGAN VS. STING YES! (Well, sort of)
Last May they had a āSuperstar Summitļæ½ļæ½ in Japan. Now Sting is guest-starring on Hoganās new TV series, Thunder In Paradise, and the action on the set has been stirring. Who knowsātheir next meeting could be in the ringā¦

The wait had been such a long one. For years, wrestling fans have been anticipating the ultimate clash of their superheroes. In one corner, three-time WCW World champion Sting. In the other, five-time WWF World titleholder and the most popular wrestler of all-time, Hulk Hogan.
If they ever did come to blows, where would it happen? New Yorkās Madison Square Garden? Atlantaās Omni? Torontoās SkyDome? Japanās Tokyo Dome?... A swamp in Orlando, Florida? Thatās rightāa swamp in Orlando.
There they were, the āHulksterā and the āStinger,ā violently struggling on a boat, fierce determination showing on the faces of both men. A few minutes later, theyāre standing waist-deep in the chilly water. Sting charges at Hogan, large tree branch in hand. Hulk anticipates the move and sends him crashing into the water with a well-timed back-bodydrop.
That doesnāt stop Sting. More ferocious than ever, he scoops up his foreign object, scrambles out of the water, and continues swinging the branch. Soon heās got the āHulksterā pinned against a tree. Sting attempts to choke Hogan, but is thwarted. Hogan seizes his chances and wears down Sting with a sleeperhold.
The action continues unhindered for a few more minutes, then comes to an abrupt halt when the director yells, āCut!ā
[Perhaps someday the āHulksterā and the āStringerā will exchange moves like these in the wrestling ring. Itās been a while since Sting used a foreign object ā¦ or was without face paint, for that matter!
Sting and Hogan go at it during fight scenes. Thunder In Paradise will air in most U.S. television markets this spring and was created by the people behind the phenomenally successful Baywatch.]
After that itās all smiles. Sting and Hogan towel off, wrap themselves in jackets, and discuss how they might make the scene even better in the next take.Ā
No, this was no bizarre specialty match created by an overzealous wrestling promoter. All the movies were choreographed by the director of Thunder In Paradise. There are still no definite plans for Sting and Hogan to go toe-to-toe in the ring. For now, weāll have to settle for this, the next best thing.
Thunder In Paradise is Hoganās new syndicated action-adventure TV series. The two-hour pilot was scheduled to air in most markets on March 21, with weekly one-hour episodes starting the following week. Hogan plays ex-Navy SEAL Hurricane Spencer, while Sting has a recurring role as Hammerhead, an ex-SEAL gone bad. (He hadnāt been a rulebreaker since his UWF days.)
Chris Lemmon and Carol Alt are Hoganās main co-stars. Also appearing regularly are wrestlers Brutus Beefcake and Jim Neidhart, as well as Hulkās manager, Jimmy, the leader of a reggae band. Added to the mix of course, are several dozen buxom, bikini-clad beauties. What else would you expect from the people who created Baywatch, the worldās most watched syndicated series?

āWe have a great cast and crew here,ā said Hogan, who is also one of the showās executive producers. āSting is a natural in front of the camera. Even though we were just acting, he showed me just how tough he is. Iām glad Iām not caught in a feud with him.ā
āActing is a lot of fun,ā said Sting. āHulk is a pro. He helped me out a lot out there. I guess you could say it was like a swamp death match that we had.ā
āIād be lying to you if I told you I didnāt think a little bit about what it would be like to wrestle Hulk for real, in a wrestling ring somewhere, with about 50,000 fans screaming their lungs out for us. Maybe someday.ā

Though the prime minister is always keen to regale audiences with how his young daughters are champions for the environment, he is certainly not one. When he was chancellor, ministers in the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and the Foreign Office frequently described him as aĀ āblockā on funding for climate and nature, and said that at the cabinet table he argued for trade deals with countries that had lower environmental standards, rather than using Britainās power on the world stage to push for change.
Critics are keen to point out Sunak refused to sign a foreword to the Dasgupta report, a review of the value of biodiversity. This review, by the respected professor Sir Partha Dasgupta, was welcomed across the board, even by theĀ former chancellor Sajid Javid, despite Sunak appearing unimpressed by its findings.
Still, people can learn, and in his role as prime minister Sunak has had access to all the best experts and evidence available on climate. He was given a major opportunity to stand on the world stage as the UKās new prime minister at the UNās Cop27 climate summit last year, but heĀ flip-flopped on attending, and only flew out to Egypt at the last minute, giving the audience a policy-free speech about how his children care about the environment.
Since then, things have gone downhill. His government failed to include environmental protections in the retained EU law bill, which willĀ scrap many EU regulationsĀ that protect the environment in the UK. Sunakās government has also committed to extracting more polluting fossil fuels, from the Cumbria coalmine to theĀ Rosebank oilfield.
And under his leadership, the energy department has spent far more time attacking the Labour party for taking donations from aĀ funder of the protest group Just Stop OilĀ than it has championing the net zero by 2050 target enshrined in law by Sunakās predecessors.

The Five Champions
Iāve become obsessed with this so Iām going to make it everyoneās problem. For context this is the fantasy story Iām working on.
Premise: (Informal)
The kingdoms of Kallista have been at war for 20 years, when Queen Pyra of Vistelle proposes a peace summit. All of the rulers agree, and it looks like an end to the war is in sight. However, the summit was actually a front for Pyra to murder the other rulers to win the war. Hereās the complicated part.
In the original version of this story, the rulers were all killed, and the Champions were banished to outside of Kallista. But then I got attached to the rulers and didnāt want to kill them. So in the version Iām currently writing, everyone lives, but I still traumatize my characters. Because why not!Ā
Note: Instead of there being a traditional heir system in Kallista, each ruler takes a Champion from the people. This Champion will train and learn how to run the kingdom until the ruler either dies or steps down.

Bearden:Ā Given our commitment to sustainability,Ā I'mĀ always eager to learn of new initiatives and breakthroughs in regenerative farming, sustainable packaging, new regulations,Ā etc.Ā I also know that regenerative farming is maturing, and the definitions are solidifying so it was important for me to stay on top of these changes.Ā Ā
What was the most surprising or impactful insight you gained at the summit? Ā Ā
Bearden:Ā I think the most surprising was some of the data that was sharedĀ regardingĀ how we are "consuming" the planet.Ā The data shared by the Global Footprint Network shows that our demand for ecological resources and servicesĀ in a given yearĀ is more than the Earth can regenerate.Ā In fact, the dataĀ actually showedĀ that we are consuming 1.7 Earths every year.Ā Ā Ā Ā
AI's impact on sustainability was a hot topic at the event. What are your thoughts on how it willĀ impactĀ yourĀ business.
Bearden:Ā There is absolutely no question that AI is going toĀ impactĀ everyone and especially businesses including Alter Eco.Ā Some of the more innovative uses of AI that were discussed are how to trace and provide more transparency in the supply chain. Ā AlsoĀ with the new regulations taking effect in Europe around imports (specifically that imports of certain products cannot come from land that has been deforested), AI is going to be utilized to track the products and with the use of satellite technology, AI can interpret where the products came from and if the land is sustainably farmed.Ā Ā
The summit emphasized empowering farmers and workers in sustainable supply chains. What insights did you take away about the connection between ethical practices and sustainability goals?Ā Ā
Bearden:Ā These goals are completely intertwined.Ā It was pointed outĀ numerousĀ times that with many commodities, like cacao, skyrocketing in price, the farmers couldĀ short cutĀ the sustainableĀ practices and just sell their products to the highest bidder.Ā Therefore,Ā it'sĀ critical that companies likeĀ ours,Ā not only pay a fair price and in most cases aĀ premium, butĀ alsoĀ have toĀ work with the farmers to convince them of the importance of sustainability and the impact on the planet.Ā Ā Ā Ā
What role do you think eco-labeling schemes, like organic andĀ FairTradeĀ certifications, play in driving consumer trust and advancing sustainable business models? Ā Ā
Bearden:Ā There was a presentation from the USDAĀ regardingĀ organic labeling and they shared that 71% of consumers trust the label USDA Organic and willĀ actually payĀ more for products labeled organic.Ā They also shared that Fair Trade is similarly trustworthy but less than USDA Organic.Ā However, during this conference, there was a significant amount of discussion on labeling associated regenerative.Ā There is a lot of confusion and no real clarity even on the definition of Regenerative Agriculture.Ā And as such, consumersĀ don'tĀ have much trust or faith in these labels at this point.Ā I believe this will change over time, but it will take education and emphasis on a consistent and understandable definition around regenerative and the impact it has on the world.Ā
How do you see the future of sustainable food production evolving, and what role will innovation and collaboration play in accelerating these changes? Ā Ā
Bearden:Ā As I pointed outĀ earlier, we consume 1.7 earths per year.Ā ThisĀ definitely isn'tĀ sustainable.Ā WeĀ have toĀ turn this trend around to where we are not only consuming in a more conscious manner, but also that we are producingĀ sustainablyĀ as opposed toĀ destructively.Ā Innovations like AI will help but at the end of the day, it's the farmers thatĀ have toĀ be committed to these initiatives.Ā It'sĀ the role of companies like Alter Eco to ensure that we work directly with the farmers to educate them, pay them a living wage and to emphasize the need for sustainable farming. Ā It'sĀ also critical to keep the younger generations involved in farming to ensure a future food system.Ā The average age of a cacao farmer in Latin America is 63. This in and of itself isn't sustainable so again, education, wages and collaboration are critically important to continue to feed the planet.Ā Ā
Balancing affordability with ethical and sustainable practices is a significant challenge. What lessons or strategies from the summit could help companies navigate this balance? Ā Ā
Bearden:Ā The biggest lesson / strategy is that it is going to take LOTS of communication and education of the consumers to convince them that a product that comes from a regenerative farm, that's organic and Fair Trade isĀ truly worthĀ more than one that doesn't.Ā As the manufacturers, weĀ can'tĀ do it aloneĀ and, in some cases,Ā we will needĀ the governmentĀ to step in and help lead these initiatives.Ā But it willĀ definitely requireĀ a constant drum beat on the impact that sustainable farming can have in providing food to feed the population while still maintaining a livable planet for future generations.Ā

DISH Network
With the help of Qualtrics, DISH recorded a 10-point NPS increase within a year. It also reduced customer churn by using Qualtricsā insights. Its cutting-edge approach to using Qualtrics AI to collect and analyze video feedback is helping agents uncover new customer insights from unstructured data. These insights are directly connected to business-wide improvements that are further cultivated to design and operate a customer-centric culture.
On Day 2 of the X4 Summit, I spoke to Christina Sansone, vice president of CX transformation at DISH Network VP of CX transformation. Customers have a strong affinity toward brands that offer them a great CX at all touchpoints. DISH Networkās customer-centric culture is a living example. I asked Christina how her organization uses AI-powered video surveys and feedback software for sentiment and emotional analytics.
How has an XM solution provider like Qualtrics truly enabled DISH to meet its CX objectives?
Christina said,Ā āCustomers have to continually engage with your product to know they are getting value from it. When customers stop engaging, something is wrong.ā
āWe piloted an XM campaign (with Qualtrics XM Video Feedback) last year for our NPS survey. Within two weeks, we had roughly 100 videos come back to us. We were just shocked (with the results)! The pilot proved that our customers understood technology and wanted to send us the video feedback. It was a very relevant piece of information. We used the videos a lot of time to emphasize the specific points or parts of the customer journey. We do analysis of the customer experience. We talk to the customers to understand what can be done to improve the experienceā¦ But when I play the videos, and show them what the customer said, it makes it all so real. You canāt argue with the customer from that perspective,ā added Christina.Ā
Christina mentioned how they use the customer video feedback to encourage the field agentsā it kind of cross-overs to the EX part as well.
