It was fun watching this rare Silky Rosegill grow to maturity in less than 48 hours over the weekend. Beginning as a knob smaller than a golf ball that grew to have a cap over 6in in diameter. . For those that want to know, yes the Silky Rosegill is edible, but I’m only 98% sure that’s what it is. It’s similar to various amanitas like the Deathcap and well, I kinda like living.
