What’s a better way to introduce an AU with Narry’s hair down?
Introducing… Human Transition AU! Where Narry doesn’t wanna be the literal universe anymore and wants to be a living organism.

thinkin bout my Yukako design/twin josuke and yukako stuff tonight hehe
but Yukako who realllly dolls herself up and really confirms to the pretty nice girl that boys will like. Followed by her end of p4 design in my mind after her encounter with koichi and the cinderella arc where she drops doing this so much and just lets herself be herself. less feeling she needs to keep up with her rampant teen acne, keeping a feminine face, constantly having to focus on not having a resting bitch face, ect ect
also shes trans gender so jot that down. miss T4T queen

I think people in general would be less weird about gender and trans people if it were just made more clear how incredibly artificial the idea of a human sexual dichotomy really is
External genitalia is the same basic structures configured in slightly different ways, and it's less of a binary set of options than a spectrum between two poles as intersex people fully prove
Secondary sex characteristics are entirely dependent on hormones, which means they a.) already have a wide variety of natal presentations across genders (ex cis women capable of growing facial hair, cis men with breast tissue etc are all completely normal (if slightly uncommon) outcomes) and b.) Are extremely easy to change with HRT
Hormones can affect PHYSICAL reactions to emotions (higher testosterone making anger an easier physical reaction to stress than tears, and higher estrogen vice versa) but it doesn't actually affect the ways you think about or react to things, just what your body does with that emotion.
Social and behavioral differences are EXTREMELY affected by nurture more so than nature and there are no inherent neurological differences between men and women's brains.
Our bodies are so similar to one another that transition- while socially and financially potentially difficult- is MEDICALLY incredibly fucking easy. The fact that we can just alter our secondary sex characteristics with medications and our external genitalia with fairly simple surgeries should be a clue how incredibly close all human bodies are? We Have the possibility to change so easily because there are not inherent, hardwired unmovable differences. The only real difference at this point is the capability to carry and birth children, and with the way science is going that doesn't seem like an impossible breakthrough at this point.
Idk, I'm so tired of seeing discourse from other trans people that upholds that there are fundamental differences between men and women. Until we all start agreeing that these categories are artificially enforced and that they aren't really biologically inherent whatsoever we're never going to get anywhere

Loc comb out complete!!
After 5 years I decided to comb out my locs. This decision was also part of my transition journey. When I looked in the mirror yesterday (when this picture was taken), I finally saw myself in a feminine light ❤️

When/where/how/why did Sal get her doctorate
Tumblr media
she got her ph.d in biology at johns hopkins at abt 32! she's always been obsessive about her interests and academia was a way to hunker down and study intensively on what she liked the most. i wouldn't say school was easy for her, necessarily, but she figured out how to get the grades she needed to succeed and powered through by sheer force of autism. she wanted to go into research but there were no positions available so she took an assistant teaching position as kind of a holdover til she could get something in a lab and then before she knew it she was teaching full time on a tenure track and was like oh! well. okay.

My brain when I see her:
My darling. My sweet. мой милый. 恋人. My beautiful lover. Mio dolce amore. It has been nigh a full moon's course since we gave last met, and yet my heart aches without the soothing balm that is your touch. Your mere gaze does more than a million years of rest. Your hair like locks of an auburn Autumn's breeze. With thine absence, my longing has grown unbearable. Your name is like a curse upon my ear — it's very murmur makes my heart race. You are the sun in my day, my moon and stars at night, guiding me every waking moment. It is an honour to be in your presence, my love.
What I actually say when I see her:
Uh. Hi!! Hello. Yes. Um. Youre alive. Good, good. Uh can y. oh. You're pretty. I forgot how pretty you are. Uh. Are. You sure you like me?? Like im an 8 at best and youre a goddamn goddess uh. Well hello there again uhm. Yes. Could. Could we hold hands? No? Ok ok cool whatever you say. Uh. I. Love you a lot. Wait no I said that out loud fuck— nothing I said nothing uh. Wow youre pretty. Like. What's the word for prettier than pretty. Uh. Ultra pretty. Yeah that

may I just add that detransitioners (or should i use retransitioners? there is also some confusion with terms here), no matter if temporary like him or permanent are INSANELY vulnerable to terf/right wing propaganda? Many people who halt their transition for whatever reason lose support from LGBTQ groups either because they are afraid to face them again feeling like traitors, or (probably rarer) the LGBTQ group themselves exiles them. Left wing media and mainstream media sweep detransitioners under the rug as a bit of a "taboo" subject, many are afraid they would hurt all the trans people out there (src). And there are many people esp. young people on social media that don't understand this is a complex journey and figuring yourself out is not easy, and end up sending lots of hate to people, further isolating them. It could also be that the people themselves are afraid to speak or don't feel like medializing their stories also, but no matter what the case is, the result it leaves only 1 clear source of information. Which is the right wing media and TERFs that is celebrating them. Even though they may just be going through a period of crisis. They lock them in feelings that could well also be just a phase or the verge of a new discovery for them and propaganda them into hurting other trans and enby people with vastly different experiences. Now picture this, you're all alone, you lost your support (or thought so), will you go to the people you're afraid you've now betrayed (or you thought so) or to the people who celebrate you for who you are at the moment (or think so)? Exactly as the person above me said. Toby's story is not the only one and there are more people like this. So to those who need it: Gender can be fluid Gender doesn't have to be man or woman, one or the other. There is no right or wrong way to be trans or nonbinary. Nonbinary people are valid. Self discovery is a complex journey. Your gender is valid. Even if you end up coming a full circle, your experiences are still valid. You are not a fraud or a traitor. But also : Your experience is not universal and everyone is different. PS: yes i'm also a detransitioner.

TERFs are a hate group.
