Though Jun usually tends to get rather engrossed in whatever game he plays (especially if it’s one he gets to play with Natsume), today he simply can’t seem to muster up the energy for it. Not for too long, at least. He’s only able to manage for perhaps about 20 minutes, 30 max, before the exhaustion that has riddled his bones begins to fog his brain and ruin his focus. He isn’t very surprised, though. After dealing with nonstop jobs for Eve throughout the Conquest ordeal, and then the finale and ‘showdown’ that came with it, Jun is simply spent. Of course he’s sincerely glad it’s over― the entire ordeal was a nightmare to put up with, and he spent the almost the entirety of it in the dark just like Ibara. And now? Now he simply wants to relax. Maybe sleep. Preferably in the company of someone who won’t test his patience or how many consecutive hours he can stand to be on his feet― which is really just Natsume. 

And so he does. He even contents himself to watch Natsume play the game a bit longer, arms wrapped around the redhead’s frame while his head rests on Natsume’s shoulder, legs stretched across the remaining couch space. Admittedly it isn’t the most comfortable position in the world, a bit awkward on his spine, but comfort is the last thing on Jun’s mind right now. Hell, he might even be able to fall asleep standing up at this rate. Besides, it appears he doesn’t have to worry about it for long. When Natsume finishes and puts away his game and lays back on the couch, Jun easily follows, humming contentedly as arms come to wrap around his own frame. Snuggling into the other’s shoulder (a rare display he hopes Natsume doesn’t comment on because he’s too tired to defend himself from such teasing), he lets out a soft yawn and lets his eyes fall shut.

❝I sure hope you weren’t planning on going anywhere...~ I don’t think I’m letting you go any time soon~❞ Spoken with a snicker, he cuddles closer and shifts a bit so he can tuck Natsume’s head under his chin, wrapped around him gently but securely. With even their legs tangled together (for Jun so loves to be so entwined with his partner), he finally feels completely and utterly comfortable― but resists the need to sleep, if just to stay awake and talk with Natsume a bit more.

❝So, while you’re here... Why don’t you tell me how your day went, hm? I’m dying to here something other than Ohiisan and Nagi-senpai being loudly endearing with each other or Ibara going on about how he never saw that ending coming.❞ Though he can’t help but laugh at the thought either... But he has had his fill of it, and would rather hear anything else, if just for a while. Just until he has to return to those three tomorrow.

Besides, he’s missed his dear magician while Hiyori kept him― Eve― so busy. Is it so wrong to just want to hear him go on about anything while he has him now?

Hell yeah!! -If Jun needs something to fiddle with, he runs his hands through Natuski’s hair, so it’s always a little messy -As very young children, they found out what dating was and then wanted to try it out with each other, the way that kids do. -Natsuki is a criminal clothes stealer -Jun can’t tie a tie, so Natuski always does it for him -Jun doesn’t like it when Natuski’s fans comment on his boyfriend’s appearance. He can be a little bit protective -Natuski has recordings of Jun playing the piano on his phone. Before they got together, he used to listen to them to help him sleep. Now, the sound that helps him sleep is his partner’s soft snores -Jun loves giving Natsuki forehead kisses. It’s a small thing that they both just adore -Natsuki shows love through gifts and acts, Jun shows love through words -Natsuki makes an excellent pillow -They adopt a lot of pets together. Countless animals. Their home is covered in fur and fluff

2. favorite canon thing about this character?

i dont think theres anything i can say here that i havent already said so ill just sorta repeat myself: he KNOWS hes not evil. he KNOWS it . but theres one flaw in his little costume; he cant bring himself to fully live up to the title of "evil", so his true colors still show through the cracks. because of this anyone who cares to look close enough will see right through him clear as day. and thats his saving grace , and the only reason he has friends despite his theatrics. he puts up his little front just because its the ibara everyone knows and is used to , and the ibara hes used to being. and he thinks he'll be content with that forever , but the truth is he wont. someday he'll realize that while it was an important defense mechanism to preserve his emotional health as a soldier , theres no longer any practical use for this emotionless cold hearted facade in the real world .

and it will ruin him .
