Remembering Donald Sutherland 1935-2024

Actor Donald Sutherland has died at 88. Of the 200 acting credits he had on IMDB, he appeared in some of my favorites: The Kentucky Fried Movie (a brief cameo as a waiter), National Lampoon's Animal House (as Prof. Jennings), JFK (as Mr. X - what a scene he has on the park bench!), and the movie Buffy the Vampire Slayer (as Merrick, Buffy's watcher at the time).

For the fact this is a 70s movie about a frat house I didn't think it would hold up today. Don't get me wrong there are some questionable sexist themes but the majority of the jokes still land. Absolutely ridiculous film but that's what it's meant to be. And I bloody love the 'Shout!' scene it's just so stupid
