Cotton: Fantastic Night Dreams and its 6 followups are mostly side scrolling Shmups (that are called Cute ‘em Ups by the fans) that star this gal here, Nata de Cotton and her fairy sidekick Silk as you navigate enemy fire and so on to defeat bosses to normally defeat the big bad and “save” the day (depends on the game). There were 2 Space Harrier like games (both originally on Sega systems). Panorama Cotton and the most recently released remake, Rainbow Cotton.

Ahh, okay, I think I saw footage of one of the Space Harrier style games, that sounds familiar.

Panorama Cotton coming to Xbox Series, Xbox One on December 7

Publisher ININ Games and developer SUCCESS Corporation will release Panorama Cotton for Xbox Series and Xbox One via Microsoft Store on December 7, the companies announced.

Panorama Cotton first launched for Mega Drive on Aug 12, 1994 in Japan, followed by PlayStation 4 and Switch on October 29, 2021 worldwide. A PlayStation 5 version is also planned.
