Thing is that they took the honestly rightful opinion of "the kinks you have/the dynamics you like/ the dark topics explored do not mean that you are the sole cause of rising of abuse worldwide" (which is honestly a real issue to have like people complaining en masse about coho/spicy boyband fanfics/lore olympus/whatever is the next fancy teens cartoon as "the reason why abuse is rising worldwide and which indoctrinates young girls to think abuse is ok" which is just very victim blamey, takes responsability off the abuser themselves, and doesnt take in consideration that bodice rippers and the likes have been existing forever and that structural misogyny is way more insidious than a random 12 yo fantasizing about bully harry styles taking a liking to her), extremized it and now transformed it into "all fictions exists in a vacuum and all tropes too and writers/creators cannot be pulling from their subconscious biases when making art and those pieces of art cannot never influence people who see it" which is just an extremely asinine take. Like again reading exclusively omegaverse wont make a random reader think "oh so fucking animals is alright" but they will be discouraged from thinking about female characters because they literally only engage with extremely male centric fiction (just as the worst critics you'll ever see are those who exclusively consume childrens/teens media because they have never consumed anything darker/more morally nuanced that pushes them to analyze or think)
