I am convinced my dad passed away from sleep apnea. For years, starting at around thirty, he constantly fell asleep and snored heavily. It worsened after he retired, joined a wine club, and started drinking copious amounts of wine. Of course, he refused to exercise and gained weight. My mother tried everything, but he refused to cooperate.

Me han enviado el dilatador nasal de @intakebreathing para probar y me gusta mucho!! Es súper cómodo comparado con los que van por dentro de la nariz que después de un rato son bastante incómodos. Hoy fui a correr 11.5k con el dilatador puesto y funciona muy bien. Puedo coger mucho más aire sobre todo cuando estoy en intensidades más altas y mantengo la boca cerrada mucho más tiempo. So, I've been dealing with a lot of sciatic pain again recently. And it has truly helped me realize how far I have come. . For those of you who are new here, I lost 100 pounds after recovery from a traumatic sciatic nerve injury. My gluteal muscles were so weak & tight after working a desk job day in & day out. I was so out of tune with my body, I really had no mental or emotional connections with my body to know what was happening, until it was too late. . It took so much to get where I am today!! This recent sciatic pain humbles me. I am reminded that we must be gentle with ourselves. My spine and skeleton have COME SO FAR. . I get so discouraged when I have pain. Beat myself up mentally + also fear the worst (regression). . This past week I did a lot physically to my body, a bit too much, possibly, trying to get the pain out. it's most prevalent in the morning, wakes me out of my last couple hours of sleep, this has been going on for weeks. . Chronic pain is hard to deal with. It affects your daily mind. Your daily routine. Your daily choices&goals. . But what I've noticed, is that pain is a way of your body to talk to you. And, pain is is related to you're nervous system (NS) state. Trauma causes NS disregulation. And NS CAN be HEALED. . As I become conscious to my body, it reveals the path to healing. This creates a lack of tension in the bones that hold all the teeth. This creates lack of bone growth, narrow jaw and over crowding of the teeth.
