APOD: ELVES Lightning over Italy (4/17/23) What's that red ring in the sky? Lightning. The most commonly seen type of lightning involves flashes of bright white light between clouds. Over the past 50 years, though, other types of upper-atmospheric lightning have been confirmed, including red sprites and blue jets. Less well known and harder to photograph is a different type of upper atmospheric lightning known as ELVES. ELVES are thought to be created when an electromagnetic pulse shoots upward from charged clouds and impacts the ionosphere, causing nitrogen molecules to glow. The red ELVES ring pictured had a radius of about 350 km and was captured in late March about 100 kilometers above Ancona, Italy. Years of experience and ultra-fast photography were used to capture this ELVES -- which lasted only about 0.001 second. © Valter Binotto

relationship status: Single
last thing i googled: Recipe for fry bodi.
current obsession: The little pink demitasse cup I found for £7. 😍
looking forward to: New Year's Day. Best day of the year.
And I'm tagging @elafranco2024 @whirlwindav and @stephaloney if any of you feel like you want to take part.
#one day I'm going to think up one of these questionnaires 🤓#I almost tagged Nasa 🚀 to answer them!#but as you can see I chickened out

“Mission Abort”
(Verse 1)
We connect sexually and emotionally, it’s all you,
But I don’t miss you, girl, I miss your body, it’s true.
I love how you love me, but you’re just a clone,
No Model S, girl, you’re not in that zone.
I study the game, I know about that make,
Model S team, they engineered her, no mistake.
Jackie, your daddy’s name rockets, Bay NASA-bound,
But I’m the one who knows my stuff, I’m on solid ground.
I see through the surface, I’m informed and precise,
An educated woman, I don’t need advice.
Jackielynn, I lost faith, you kiss women and dudes,
Golfing with old flames, I can’t play by your rules.
Your daddy’s NASA, tell him to send you off,
I’ll be here watching, like Agent K, soft.
Every move you make, every smile you break,
I’m watching you, girl, make no mistake.
(Chorus)
Model S high as the stars, she saw me in the crowd,
She said, “Mission abort,” turned away, too proud.
The scorekeeper’s high, moonlight’s laughter,
She never heard my words, the things I came after.
Jackielynn, you live for me, love me more than most,
But I don’t want marriage, girl, that’s not what I boast.
Model S, a local star, but I can’t reach,
You never see me, let alone speak.
(Verse 2)
I miss you, Jackie, but our paths don’t align,
You want a slow pace, while I’m chasing the climb.
You say money’s not worth it in the end,
But I’m stacking my moves, I’ll never pretend.
Simple and intelligent, your body’s so nice,
In the gym every day, that’s your sacrifice.
But you’re not the last act, you’re just a brief show,
Mexico City, the chocolate, and the glow.
I look at you and wonder, see my future in your eyes,
But I know deep down, you’ll always be my ex-wife, no surprise.
You’re not as ambitious, I’m not soft in the heart,
Maybe you gotta ask your pops to build you a rocket, take you far apart.
(Bridge)
Every day, you just want me to stay,
But I’m on a mission, no time to delay.
I’m focused, I’m driven, I won’t abort,
At ease knowing I had you, girl, that’s my report.
(Outro)
So go ahead, live your life, chase your own dream,
But I’m watching from afar, nothing’s what it seems.
Mission’s complete, I don’t need to revisit,
Jackie, I’m out, and I’ll keep my distance.
Every smile you break, every step you take,
I’ll be watching you, no time for fake.
You’re not the last act, just part of the show,
But I’m on a mission, and I won’t let go.

OH MY GOSH‼️ I was all over the place with this message because I am still in absolute shock and awe as to what was revealed to me.
☢️
There is hope for people who have been paralyzed babes and I’m thrilled to share this news with you 🤩
One day ANOTHER scientist will win a Nobel Prize for this discovery. This is worth sharing with you all 🌎 I hope we all live to see it. I know it sounds unbelievable but God is the author of the impossible.
I also wanted to mention that they too know of God in whatever way he made himself known to them which brought me instant relief 😅
I forgot to mention they showed me a HUGE star ⭐️ that covered me. It had to be about 6 ft in diameter. I also heard “magnetic frequencies” while writing this. My science ppl will know exactly what that means but this is far greater than what we already know.
Someone please notify my friends at 📲NASA because someone needs to know what the hell is going on. Someone far smarter than I 🤓😅👀
So ummmmm Vesta is 500+ km’s wide. Far larger than what I described.
I tried to find the spinal clamps 🗜️ I saw but there obviously isn’t anything like it yet however similar. Perhaps someone is currently working on this and needs to look deeper. Yay! How exciting 🤩🦼
I’m wondering if the New Earth John speaks of in Revelations is closer than we think? This is the only reference I see that matches anything I have ever encountered.

Katherine Johnson: The Mathematician Who Launched Astronauts into Space and Women into STEM 🚀👩🚀
In the vast expanse of the cosmos, where men first dreamed of reaching the stars, Katherine Johnson calculated the path that would get them there. This story isn't just about trajectories and orbits; it's about a woman whose brilliance in mathematics helped break the barriers of space and gender.
Johnson's journey began in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, where her curiosity and intelligence shone from an early age. Despite encountering segregation and sexism, she charted a course that would lead her to NASA, where her skills became indispensable to the success of the U.S. space program. Her calculations were critical to the success of the Mercury missions, including John Glenn's pioneering orbital flight, for which he specifically requested Johnson verify the computer's numbers. "If she says they're good," Glenn said, "then I'm ready to go."
But Johnson's contributions went beyond Mercury. She also played a role in the Apollo missions, including the first lunar landing, and her work on orbital mechanics laid the groundwork for the Space Shuttle program and plans for a Mars mission.
Her legacy is a beacon for women and people of color in STEM, symbolizing the power of intelligence and perseverance to overcome societal constraints. Johnson's story teaches us that the path to the stars is paved with determination, hard work, and an unwavering belief in one's own abilities.
Katherine Johnson's calculations helped lead humanity to the moon, but her impact extends far beyond the numbers. She charted a course for future generations of women in STEM, proving that the sky is not the limit—it's just the beginning. As we look up at the stars, we remember her legacy, not just as a mathematician, but as a trailblazer who launched us into a new era of exploration and equality.
