They really should not have revealed the prize behind that Naruto popularity contest. LOL. People would have voted more honestly, in my opinion, had they not known that the winner would be the subject of a short manga.

Not that I don’t think Minato doesn’t have a fan base, but come on now! He definitely isn’t more popular than ,say, Itachi.

this poll makes me angry because maybe it's the last one and it's practically meaningless literally a big part was voting for the manga, people telling to not vote for naruto/sasuke, and the last few months naruto/dudebros uniting to vote for minato just because they were scared of sakura winning

Man, same 😭 I was wishing for a poll like this for years and when I finally had it, the fandom just decided to screw it forever, look, I was even talking to my friends about it 2 years ago

I wanted it for so long and I'm so bitter that everyone just decided to ruin it and vote for the manga, I was so mad at Kakashi fans who were saying they're voting for Minato and Sakumo even tho Kakashi is their favorite, same thing goes for Naruto and Sasuke, it's just so stupid, it's literally called "popularity poll" not "who's backstory would you like to see poll", they missed the point of the entire thing and we will never have another chance at it ever again, One Peace fans are even making fun of us for it and you know what? We deserve it ☹️

this is not to be mean, this is me being genuinely confused- I keep seeing people saying Sasuke always loses in polls. He was in that official Naruto popularity poll and ranked in the top 10, right? Is it just on Tumblr that he loses polls? I don't see Naruto polls very often but the few I have seen with him, he placed pretty high in the results. I'm just confused, sorry.

Oh LOL, that’s about tumblr polls! He has a rough history with those, my friend. Catra… (Catra again)…Kurapika… Now Tenten….. Anyways the list goes on (and on and on), he can just never get a win LOL (and technically he didn’t get a win in Narutotop99 either lol, Minato won the whole thing so technically still a lose). That’s what the joke is about!

Just gonna say the same thing I said on Twitter since it's the same post lol I'm sure he won't win, very minority of his fans were actually voting for him, the rest were either voting for Minato or Sakumo, if everyone were actually voting for their favorite character without cheating too he would've had a great chance in winning but unfortunately that's not the case here but at least he was the winner of the original manga polls back when ppl had to post their votes through mail including the ticket from the manga copy they bought, that was a legit poll we can actually count on for measuring popularity not that huge mess that happened with this one, I wish it didn't turn like that tho, it would have been great ☹️
